Brantley is one of the most AMAZING teachers I have ever had. I don't like science, but she made it so interesting. She gives few written assignments and tells you exactly what you'll need to know for the tests. Go to class, take notes, and you'll make an A. She is an extremely helpful, nice, and knowledgeable professor. TAKE THIS CLASS! :)

This was by far the easiest science class I've had since middle school. Her tests are so easy! She DOES teach you though and it is a fun class! She truly loves what she does and really wants to share her knowledge. Class attendance not required to get a B.

Mrs. Brantley was by far the most amazing professor I had this semester. I am so glad I had her my first semester of college. She is so positive, helpful, and energetic... Not to mention simply adorable. She has a great personality and that reflects in her teaching. Thanks to her, I now like science (kind of)

Makes the class interesting by bringing in specimens, watching videos and engaging in discussions. I would definitely take her again. Minimal writing assignments, tests are easy with the study guides.

She's the sweetest professor I have ever had! She's always so willing to help you. Only takes attendance on low attendance days for extra credit, however gives occasional participation questions at the end of class. Definitely recommend her! Can't say this enough!!

TAKE HER! She is helpful and she knows a lot about science. She puts all the power points up. She drops your lowest exam score. If you study before the exams, you will be fine!

Had her in lab/lecture. Shes VERY FUN, happy, friendly, smiles alot & she's SEXY HOT! Gives quiz on video clips, uses PP's, wrote study guide for exams, brings her praying mantis. Good teacher, very clear, Campbell Biology TEXT is EXCELLENT! I love biology & I love Mrs Brantley. I used MasteringBIO & got a 97 in lecture & a 90 in lab. TAKE HER! :)

Total use of her powerpoints. Didn't really need the book. Extra credit points from video clips. Uses some tricky questions on quizzes, but overall a great teacher. She will help you any way she can. You get points for attendance. Will definitely take her again!

She is seriously the best teacher ever! She teaches straight from power points and she puts all of them online. Her tests are pretty easy if you study. She drops your lowest test grade. You have homework online but they are only like 5 -10 questions. She also puts and extra one up for extra credit. It's hard not to get an A. TAKE HER IF YOU CAN!

Being former military, I am older than most students. It takes a certain type of person to fully grab my attention. Professor Brantley is amazing, she is always courteous and respectful to her class and she is constantly working for her students. One of my favorite people hands down! Test can be tricky but study the power points and youll do fine.

Mrs.Brantley is an awesome teacher! She will drop your lowest test grade, offers some extra credit, and all her tests are from her powerpoints. I loved the fact that everything you need to study is always available online. She is very helpful and made learning biology very enjoyable! I wish I could take her for Human Anatomy!

Lab were very laid out and she gives extra credit if you miss a lab you can attend a movie at the end of the semester to make up for it. LOVED HER.

Brantly is clear, kind and easy going. She offers tons of extra credit. Her study guides are great. Go to class, do the 8 homework assignments (I did them in a week), use the study guide and make friends with her. I got an A.

I do not like science at all but Mrs. Brantley made it easy to learn. All the lectures are based on powerpoints, so all the tests are also based on the powerpoints. The tests are pretty simple if you study for it and review the slide slows. She gives exam reviews the lecture day before the test day. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Cant put into words how much I love her! I took her for 2 BIOs and both labs. Only class in my 20 years of life that I actually learned something...! She isn't a super easy class but a simple hour of studying her SG before the test and I made an A on almost every one. Great person. Great teacher. This lady is the sweetest person I've ever met in my life! She's gorgeous and loves bugs! She'll even bring her bugs to class! She obviously loves teaching and cares deeply about her students and their success. I would take her for every biology if I could and I actually learned something which is pretty amazing for me. I absolutely loved Mrs. Brantley, I had her for 1101 lecture and lab and she was great in both. She is helpful no matter what, she stays on topic in all her lectures, she explains things to where you can understand them. Overall great professor, I would definitely take her again!

Professor Brantley was great. I am absolutely terrible at science and was still able to make an A. She gives a lot of extra credit. She is not strict on attendance but has participation quizes at random that can really help your grade in the long run. She is very sweet, but makes exceptions for no one. The syllabus is the law.

Great professor. Super organized and easy. Do your work on time or before (its easy) and she'll give you a 100. Pay attention to tests review, test material comes straight off powerpoints. Definitely try and take her for class and lab, it makes it a lot easier to only have one professor. Got a 92 in class and a 99 in lab.

She is an amazing professor! She cares about her students and makes class easy. Her online assignments are easy, but the tests are tricky. Make sure you study the slides and the review sheet.

She's super nice and has easy lectures. A couple of tests throughout the semester that are pretty easy. Final is optional. Puts powerpoint notes online and as long as you read over them you'll do fine in the class.

Probably one of the best professors at UNG. She is super nice and personable and often lets class out early. Tests can be challenging and require studying. don't buy the textbook. Daily participation grades which are borderline mandatory for an A, plenty of extra credit.

Gives lots of easy extra credit opportunities take them. Tests are sometimes hard but not if you study her powerpoints. Actually cares and will bump up your grade if you go to class and put in some effort.

I ended up failing almost every test, but did all the extra credit options and went to every class (she has participation questions at the end of most lessons) AND STILL MADE A B. (because she rounds) She is such a kind, caring, and genuine professor. She understands that we are not all Bio majors.

Take her for lecture and lab. She's the nicest professor I've ever had. The tests can be difficult, but she offers more than enough extra credit to help boost your grade and you can do each one in less than 20 minutes typically. She's super lenient on grading of EC & assigments. The only way to not get an A or B is to not try or show up at all.

Susan is your girl. Dad jokes are great and all but wait till you hear her mom jokes. You will need to study for the test but the final is optional and it will replace your lowest test grade. She uses a point based system and lab is super easy with her. She's super helpful and all around an incredible person.

I had her for lecture and lab. It was one of my easiest classes. She is very good at getting the material across. She often lets the class out early. Her test are multiply choice and short answer but have easy extra credit. If you study the power points that she gives you you'll get an A. Projects are easy but take time. DON'T BUY TEXTBOOK!

Very nice lady. Class was easy if you studied. Tons of extra credit opportunities and extra credit on tests. She does give a lot assignments though, that is the only bad thing about this class. 4 total tests before the Final .Final is optional (drops lowest test grade). Went on field trips for lab and you can carpool for extra credit. No lab final.

She is awesome and one of the sweetest. She is already there and grades things timely, offers good help and advice. She is also so funny.

She is by far one of my top 3 favorite teachers I have ever had in college anyone who does not like her is beyond crazy. She is there for you clear grading criteria she works with you if you have pop ups with tests. Class is fun I love her take her promise you wont regret it took her for bio 1101 with lab, bio 1260 with lab as well.

Great professor! Tests were 30 MC & a few SA. The final is optional. Do the participation points and extra credit work and you'll do well. There is a project, either a 6hr volunteer project or calculating the amount of trash you create. Labs were mostly field trips and there was a group project. Overall one of my favorite classes.

One of my favorite professors at UNG! She is super nice and helpful. A TON of extra credit is offered. You could not make an A on any of the tests and still end up with a final grade of an A. Do the extra credits and assignments and you will get an A or B. You do need to study for the tests.. Highly recommend Professor Brantley!

Professor Brantley is so sweet. I am not a big fan of Biology but she made the class interesting. Gave lots of extra credit and was very accessible if needed. She is very caring. Textbook reading is not mandatory but is recommended. Lectures are easy to follow and the assignments help with understanding. 10/10 recommend taking her!

Mrs. Brantley was SO sweet!! She was always willing to help, and very approachable! The one thing that wasn't so nice about this class, was that I felt the tests often didn't reflect the lectures very well. Very specific questions. I don't think it was because of her, rather I think it was due to the hybrid class due to covid. She is a gem!

Professor Brantley is such a sweet professor who cares about helping her students learn. I took her during hybrid classes and class meetings allowed us to ask her questions. Shes so passionate about science and it helps you learn. Although her tests are pretty tough so make sure you take good notes on the lectures. But theres bonus opportunities.

She doesn't accept late work. Will give out random assignments in person and does not post them online, so if you don't go to class you could lose 5-10 points. Her lab is pretty easy. All powerpoints were online and tests can be kinda hard especially if you don't study or pay attention. Extra credit is on all exams. 3 discussions, 2 quizzes, 3 test

Dr. Brantley is genuinely one of a kind and cares about her students. Her tests are pretty hard, so make sure to study. She also holds review sessions the class before the test, so attend those. She gives plenty of extra credit for lecture and lab (take her lab. easy A). Overall, she's a great professor.

Both lecture and lab were amazing. She is so much fun and the class is pretty easy if you study. The powerpoints are all online too. She helped us so much during lab when we had to dissect a rat and we were too scared to do it. I even took another one of her classes because I liked her so much. I would recomend going to class but it's not required.

The class was fun and easy enough. For labs we just went on field trips to diffrent places, we didn't do any traditional labs. It's a great class to make a friend in cause carpooling is extra credit. Highly recommend Professor Brantley for any of her classes.

The tests are also optional to take online with lockdown browser or in person. Plus she drops the lowest test score (potentially don't need to take the exam).

Bio 1101 & 1102 w lab. She offers multiple extra credit opportunities. For lab, it's a completion grade every lab. For class, it's the same just complete & turn in worksheet given after going over notes. Her labs and lectures are so fun! You can tell she is passionate about what she is teaching & wants you to do well. Show up & try! easy A!

I'm not a science major, but I do love animal biology, so my ease with this class might be biased! Dr. Brantley is super knowledgeable and loves insects, as do I. I loved seeing her passion for her work and her pet tarantula. The only difficult part of the semester was studying for a lab practical, but Dr. Brantley wants to help you succeed! Ask!
