Whoa! Dumb as dirt! She couldn't even pass her own math class. Very flaky, and not a fun teacher to have at 8 in the morning.
She is so hard to understand. Can't finish a sentence or complete thought. I remember when she lost her lesson plan between her white boards. She is funny but a bad prof all around.
Poor woman, she meant well, but she's not a very good teacher. Don't take her class if you're the type of person that needs a lot of explanation. If you're good at math it's a piece of cake to pass
She is very flaky and does not know that much about the material that she teaches. she would not give people with low grades in her class any extra credit but instead would give it to the people who already had a's in the class
She's a kind person, BUT she's crazy. She'll talk normal for a little while then she'll just start yelling.

She means well but that woman is crazy. She is always late to class and she will talk normal one minute and start screaming the next. She isnt even screaming at anyone, she just starts screaming. Do the homework and you will get a good grade.

Freakin horrible. There is no use asking questions in class because she will just cut you off and say "no". Insane woman, this is her first year teaching Stats, for the love of god stay away from this woman.
She is a very nice person but she is very flighty and seems like she dosent know what is going on. She honestly reminds me of the teacher on Clueless. (the woman that didnt know what was going on) You have to teach yourself in the class, so dont expect to be taught

she's a sweet lady, it seems like she's a little pre occupied sometimes, but i dont know how people can not learn from her she explains things a thousand times. Math isnt easy but i think she does a great job teaching it.

Not a class i liked taking. Browder is funny to laugh at though- yet the class whomps. Homework counts more than quizzes and tests. Do your homework and talk to her for help and you should do fine.
This woman is crazy...I came to college to get an education, but everytime I walk out of her class I feel like I have gotten dumber. The best thing to describe this crazy lady...SCATTERBRAIN!!!

Nice lady if you show up and are attentive. Gave me a bad grade because she didnt read my work right, but she admitted her mistake when i brought it up to her and fixed it right away. She can be set in her ways though, so if you don't understand things the way she explains them, your'e on your own
I thought i took this class to get smarter...but no i left feeling dumber than a pile of bricks...this woman has no idea what she's talkin about.
She is easy and helpful if you have questions about homework but shes a scatterbrain. Make sure to have your book open and your calculator ready of she will go insane. She should be a highschool teacher.

wow...this class is a trip! "stay tuned!" you never know what funny crap she'll try to do next. she speeds through lessons and leaves 20 mins at the end of a class to take a test. she goes over homework which is good. 50 mins isnt enough to do everything she wants to do in one class. i love math but this class was def. not my favorite.
She spends 3/4 of class going over the homework, which is good, but leaves NO time for the lesson. She crams the lesson into the last 10 minutes of class. If you have a question, she makes you come to her office.

It takes some o get time to get use to her, but once you do the class isnt very hard. She helped me a lot out of class, when i would miss a quiz or test she would always let me retake it. She is a little spacy from time to time but is a very nice lady. If you want an easy math class hers is the one to take.
This woman is crazy. I wouldnt pay her to teach my dog tricks. She is all about favoritism and she freaks out from time to time. If you can avoid a class with Browder that would be the best choice you could make. She offers out of class help she degrades you when you do not understand. I would never take another math class with her.
If you're bad at math, do NOT take this class. She makes you feel dumb if you don't know the answer and class is sooooo boring.
worst teacher I have EVER...let me stress the word EVER!!! had...she teaches like a 1st grade teacher, but gives work like a graduate sschool teacher..Her test's are so long most people couldn't even finish half of it...DO not take her..not reccomended at all..
1 on 1 she is very helpful, and she'll sit w/ you until you get it. But in class she sucks! She is scattered all over the board, which is fine for some classes... NOT math! If you can avoid her class!!!
She likes to see work ethic and that you actually care about what you are learing. She is a very sweet lady and is VERY willing to help if you don't understand something...you just have to take the initiative to seek extra help. I've always been terrible at math and I got an easy A in this class. Make sure you do your hw and study for tests.
Whack!!!!!!!!! She is a horrible teacher. You had better have a good backround in math if you intend to take any classes with her. She is also mind numbingly boring as well.
Her teaching style is a little hard to follow, but once you get the hang of it it makes more sense. If you have good work ethic take her class, because she assigns homework every class and checks it for accuracy. Do the homework and study for the tests and this class will be great. You can make it as easy as you want.
The class is not hard, but she makes it harder than it should be. Writes all over the board. Available for help if you want it, but how much help she can give is another thing... She likes people who participate as long as you know what's going on. If you have the right answer, say it outloud. I didn't do most of the hw but got a B.
Mrs. Browder is one of the most UNFAIR teachers I have EVER had. No joke.
The first half of the class was cake, so I did ALL of my work, once we started "learning," I quit trying, and still made it out with a C. She's confusing at times; and she'll single out distracting students (as I get when I am bored). I would say, if you're bad at math, this class won't kill you, but she won't offer much help, either.

RUN FOR THE HILLS!!! She is incredibly hard to understand and showing up for class is a complete waste of time... If you dont already have an understanding of the information before entering the class u will flunk... do yourself a favor take the coarse over the summer in community
She is not a good teacher. She asks questions that she sometimes can't even solve. Do NOT take this class unless you already have a thorough understanding of Pre-Calculas. She is very nice however she is a poor teacher. Her examples rarely match the textbook. I recomment taking this class in Community college.
Browder cannot teach AT ALL! She can't answer questions, she's bipolar and gets upset if you don't answer her questions. Class is boring and a waste of time. Textbook is HORRIBLE!! Browder can't explain the math any better the the book! DO NOT TAKE HER!! She's very hard to understand because she can't keep still. Her moods fluctuate too! Stay away!
Run away. If at all possible avoid this professor. She doesn't know the material herself and can't teach math. She also calls students out on their grades in class. Do not take her class.
The class wouldn't be so hard if she wasn't teaching.You think you know the material well,& no matter HOW much you study, her tests seem to be totally different. It's a very discouraging class, & she likes to put the blame on the students for everything! She also doesn't have anything other than quizzes and tests, so it's easy to fail.Not fun.
No math teachers are ever good. The tests and homework are different than the examples she used in class. for my class, she always started like 5 mins before the class actually started and it always went like 5 mins later than it was supposed to end. Use the book, it will help you.

Excellent teacher. If you say you don't understand.. you either don't pay any attention or don't come to class. Never did homework except for h/w checks and ended up with an A. All you have to do is show up and pay attention, memorize formulas for tests. Easy A! (She tends to cover everything in more detail than needed, could be a good thing.)
DON'T get her as a teacher. She's very all over the place and doesn't really know what she's talking about. Her examples in class are way easier than the ones on hw and tests. She's not helpful at all.

Worst math teacher I have ever had! Plan on teacher yourself. I had to go to tutoring twice a week in order to pass. Her notes don't make any sense and are don't help with the homework. Plan on random quizzes (HW checks). She is willing to help you... but it's not helpful...
Horrible teacher! She is not a mean lady, but she cannot teach at all. She is willing to help outside of class, but its not helpful. She uses the text, but teaches differently from it, and she takes her ppt from the textbook site, so once you are on your own, you have no resources. Her tests are extremely hard, and they are different from in class.

Worst teacher ever. She would write a problem on the board and then either half way through it or it was done all the way she would say "that is not correct." She would then erase the whole problem and redo it. You would ask her for help in class and she would get offended about her teaching ability.
SHE IS AWFUL. No one ever knows what is going on in her class and she cannot answer anyone's questions. No one understands what she teaches, and everything she says in unreliable. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASSES.. for your own sake.
Like everyone else is saying, this woman is TERRIBLE! I swear I play solitaire on my phone half of the time. I don't know what she's talking about but I still have a B in there haha. She trips over her words and makes so many mistakes. The only thing I can suggest is to do the homework because it can bring your grade down a lot if you don't.

OMFG abslolute worst teacher i have ever experienced in my entire life, she cant teach to save her life! she doesnt understand what she is teaching at always gets corrected by the class she is an airhead and is awkward when you go to talk to her one on one for extra help... that doesnt help. if you care about your gpa at all then dont take her clas
WORST PROFESSOR EVER. She was never on top of things, couldn't explain an assignment to save her life. Constantly made mistakes. She would get angry if you didn't participate but if you try to, she makes you feel like an idiot even if you know what you are talking about. Not willing to help students. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS.
I will NEVER take another class with this woman ever again. It might have been enjoyable, but she ruined it. Nothing she says ever makes sense. She never finishes her sentences and she is completely useless. I would NOT recommend her to anyone unless I absolutely hated them.
She can't teach at all. When you go up to ask her a question she gets frustrated with herself and takes it out on you. I asked for extra time on test and she won't allow anymore time. Do not take her or you will be teaching yourself the material!! She goes over material too fast in class. Test and hw are harder than examples in class.
I agree she is a bit quirky but overall she has been great. You WILL HAVE TO TEACH YOUR SELF SOMETHINGS but i'm no math major and i DESPISE math and i'm floating with a B average. Advice? Do the hw (the the best of your ability) there are hw quizes every other day and be polite and nice to her (that works pretty well when you do poor on hw :P)
This teacher is crazy.. i hated this class because of this teacher. She was very unclear witht he material she was teaching and she could never answer your qustions with a straight answer. If i could go back I would definitely take this class with another teacher!

Terrible teacher, I've never had such a bad teacher- even in high school. Went to class, sat there, tried to understand, then we'd leave.
This woman is by far the rudest teacher I have ever had.She called my entire class out for not doing homework that she forgot to put on blackboard, and then continued to tell us how little we cared about our education and that we were a disgrace to our parents. That our parents had no business putting students like us through school. Enjoy her!
Terrible teacher!!!! She doesn't teach at all!!! I have had to ask my high school teachers for help because she is so bad. If she makes a mistake be prepared for her to blame it on the class. If you ask her a question to clarify something she will just turn and yell at you saying "we already went over this" and then not help you. Terrible, terrible
She was absolutely useless as a teacher. Asked us to check her math because she consistently did the calculations incorrectly. This could have been a great and relevant class but she couldn't teach it!

I took her for Stats and if I didn't take it in high school then I would have not done well in the class. She is not easy and isn't very clear with the subject matter. The class had to correct her a lot of the times. But she is a sweet lady and does try to help you. Go to her office hours, not only does she love it but it does help you.
Professor Browder is a sweet lady, she gets frazzled in her teaching and makes things difficult to understand. If you took STATS in high school, I recommend taking her, it's easy and you'll remember by nature. If you have never taken STATS before do not take her, she will confuse you and you'll almost fail.

Mrs. Browder is a sweet sweet woman, but tends to talk in circles. It makes the lecture frustrating to sit through and I am constantly looking at the clock. She's clearly been teaching for a long time, but can be very boring to listen to at times.

Expect to be on your toes. Gives study guides. If you pay attention and do homework, class will be fine. Everyone says she is a horrible teacher, but she is actually really nice. Just pay attention.
Most students in my class did poorly because they had attitude problems. Browder is such a nice woman & this is the easiest class I took at LU. She assigns HW & calls on you in class but she is nice and easy. If you don't understand something in class- you have to go to her during office hours. SHE WILL HELP YOU! Get to know her & TAKE THIS CLASS!!

She tends to be confusing when she speaks. There were several times throughout the semester in which she would confuse herself about the topic while trying to teach the class. Going to her office hours helps a little. She loves helping students, but don't expect to leave with more clarity than you came with.
Browder was very unclear and confusing when she was teaching. She tends to talk in circles and not remember her original point. I finished the class with a 98, but that is because I was good at math in high school and remembered a lot from that. I didn't learn a thing from her. Her tests were straight from the study guide (with numbers swapped out)
She is very ditsy. She skips topics here and there so you have to stay engaged during the lecture and ask her questions if you don't get it. All homework assignments are online but don't take this as a good thing. she assigns hw every class and although she maybe a nice person I believe she just is not a good professor. Would not recommend.
Seriously the worst professor I've had at LU. Avoid at all costs! Mrs. Browder is extremely forgetful and does not remember faces to save her life. Homework and tests are easy, but if you don't have outside help for the class, you won't do well. Beware the Browder.
Non-engaging lectures and a confusing professor with difficult content. Stay awake and go to class, pay attention and you will likely pass. Tests and quizzes are generally worded poorly and feel like they're unnecessarily difficult. Her powerpoints are available online, expect to need them often to understand content. Homework after every class.
I've never failed a class in my life, and I've never gotten below a C on a test until I took Mrs. Browder. I've literally never done so badly in a class in my life. Even worse, everyone warned me about her, but by the time it was my turn to register I had no choice. She has no idea what she's doing. Avoid her if you want to keep your sanity.

This class contains easy material, however, if you do not already know the material than you will not do well in this class. The professor does not clearly explain the material, there are not a lot of grades for the class, the professor is scattered, I do not recommend this professor at all.
She was all over the place when explaining topics, when a question was asked she went all around it and did not actually answer the question then continued with the lecture without making sure she answered the question, and through out the semester refreshing your memory on previous topics doesn't happen often which can make the final difficult
