Very Bad Teacher. Very Hard Teacher. And Not Helpful At ALL!

Warning: Do not sign up for a class with this professor. She gives horrible notes, horrible tests (all essay and no curve) and horrible lectures. She assigned 6 out of 14 chapters in the last week of class for the students to learn on their own.

DON"T TAKE HER!!!...TAKE ANYONE ELSE IF YOU CAN!!!...SAVE YOURSELF!!!

Teacher is pathetic. Took her class Winter 2007. Said email is only way to contact her but she claims she never got my 10 emails. Weird!!! But then she was never clear on how to answer the questions on the exam. She told me to contact the TA's which she never told us who they are or how to contact them. Grading is HORRIBLE AND WRONG!! DONT TAKE HER

She is a terrible teacher. She'll never teach you what she wants you to know for the exam. Even if your answers are text book she'll find something wrong with them always! It's so amazing that she still has a job at such a wonderful university.

She is one of the worst teacher. she only thinks that only she knows the politics and sometime she is proves that book is wrong too. PLEASE PLEASE DON'T TAKE HER.

NIGHTMARE!!! She accidentally gave me an incomplete and it took months before she switched my grade to an A. She has no enthusiasm for teaching and she doesn?t have any sympathy for students. She was absent half the time and had no legitimate excuse. What I learned was mostly self taught so I feel it was a big waste of money. WSU I want a refund.

Easily the worst professor I've ever had. Didn't show up for the first three weeks of class, didn't get a syllabus for the first month+. Awful grader, fails everybody. None of what she says makes any sense. I seriously have no idea why she hasn't been fired. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID.

PS 1010 online. Fino is a nace woman and tries but this was the worst online class i have ever taken, or will ever take. I don't usually write reviews but I felt the need to warm people. Constantly and unpredictably changing and yet inflexible schedule, incoherent and poorly formatted tests on random topics from the section, etc Avoid @ all cost

PS 1010 Online: disappears until a few days before exams, then unloads weeks-worth of material all at once. Rude in email correspondence, if you're lucky enough to even get a reply. Generally arrogant attitude and seems to have no genuine interest in teaching. Don't take this class.

This was the worst online class I've taken so far! Her teaching, not good at all! Lectures were extremely long, rambling, pointless, and none of the materiel was on the test! Read the book...Read the book! Weeks worth of lectures dumped within a couple days of exams. No response to emails at all!! Poorly formatted tests! Optional final available.

Worst online class Ever!!! The professor is no help, must contact student assistant and they will contact her. When taking a quiz it's timeed and you wont be able to skip a question the go back. Also, she doesnt give you any study guide to prepare you, you just have to read and study EVERYTHING! I would NEVER reccommend anyone to take this class!

This has been my worst college course so far. The only grades m the midterm/final and the midterm was 226 question study guide or review. It took weeks at the beginning of the semester for the lectures to be uploaded and weeks for grade to be posted after the midterm. I am normally an A/B student,I will be lucky if I pass this class, DO NOT TAKE!!!

Midterm,final & how many times you access the site even if they don't have ANY content. Lockdown browser w camera. 5 quizzes to help your grade week of finals. Lectures uploaded during finals weeks.

Do not take this class with this teacher!!!! The worst teacher I have ever had, for her to still be a teacher at an accredited University is embarrassing. It took about a month before anything was posted then when things were posted they would be last minute. The 2 tests that count for grades were so long and difficult in front of a camera.

I've gotten an A in her course, given that that's the highest grade possible, I should have no complaints... Wrong. She and her team of TAs exuded incompetence. Material would be posted late, the first test was impossible to solve, and clear wording isn't important to hem. +Many inconvenient last-minute changes and generally disrespectful attitude.

Dr.Fino class extremely hard no doubt about that!! Only 2 exams, and the midterm was hard and everyone in the class including myself was failing at that point!! Her TA's were frustrated with her as well because she was very late putting up lectures during FINALS WEEK!! I ended up with an A in her class though. Questions came from google AI quizzes.

This teacher does not explain anything. She doesn't show up for class. EVER. She does not respond to emails at all. PS1010 was the worst class I have ever taken as a student thanks to this Professor

As a political science major, she is one of the reasons why I left Wayne State. She has to be the worst professor in the state. She doesn't care about the subject or her students. She's rude, disrespectful, and needs to be fired. Wayne needs to get with it and let her go. Wayne's poor retention rate would surely be helped out!

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS, ESPECIALLY IF IT'S ONLINE. I signed up for the class without a professor listed and got stuck with her. Worst professor EVER. There was a midterm and a final - that's it. Doesn't explain, doesn't communicate, you'll probably fail. I dropped the class before the final and retook it with another professor & loved it.

I wouldn't recommend this Professor to anybody. Although I got an A in the class, you only have 3 exams and a optional final. She doesn't show up on exam days, she lectures very heavy, your whole grade is based off you passing those 3 exams. We had an exam that was 95 questions based off of 3 chapters so you do the math :). Just trust me, don't.

I have had bad classes before but this is the first one I genuinely feel scammed after paying for it. Dr. Fino is wildly disorganized and often calls off. She failed to provide any assistance via email (zero responses to inquiries all semester). Only two assignments all semester which were both assigned within the final two weeks of class. Avoid.

One of the worst professors Ive ever had. Cancels class alot, ignores most emails, Doesnt give you a lot of information about exams prior. No extra credit options. Unorganized. Shows up 10-15 minutes late often. Dont take this teachers course!!!

You have to be prepared to read a lot. Her class is full of story telling, however, they exam is 100% on the book, so lectures are completely useless for the tests.

One of the worst professor's I have ever had. She missed half of classes for the semester. Our grade was based on quizzes half of which weren't posted on the course website until the last two weeks of class. The term paper had no rubric or guidance. Weekly readings weren't posted until the day before class. The professor is incredibly forgetful.

Worst professor ever. We had two exams and a final. She posts lectures one week before the exam. Only gives you a 24 hour window to take a 2 hour exam. She told us to buy ebooks for exams cause theyre open notes, but then tells us she doesnt allow tablets/ereader on the exam since its Lockdown Monitor. Very behind and disorganized

Susan Fino was the worst online professor I have ever had, she is rude to her students when we would contact her with questions about exams. Never gave us a lot of time to review material--- she would post chapter info a day before the exam. Mad things very difficult to NOT take any of her courses.

Never answers emails like ever. I got more responses from the department head about how she doesnt answer emails than I did from her. Exams open note/book on a lockdown browser so no online books will work. Gives sarcastic answers to serious questions. For example the question - how do we prep for the final the answer try reading the syllabus

Th is class was one of a kind. It was online but the teacher was hardly there for her students. You will regret taking the class if you skip this serious rating. I only got an A because I had prior knowledge of American Gov, but she does NOT Answer emails and if She does you see her bad attitude. Her tests/ lectures are posted last minute.

Do not take this professor for anything, even if its online. Doesnt respond to emails and gives attitude and is extremely rude when she does reply. Does not give out information regarding things on the exams until a few days before. Started posting lectures but never continued. She did not help us at all, but did boost our grades at the end.

Absolute WORST professor I have ever had. She will never reply to your emails, EVER. She stays silent and never updates us on what chapters will be on an exam until a day before. She says shell upload voice memos on the presentations yet she never does. DO NOT TAKE SUSAN, YOU WILL REGRET IT. She is extremely rude and disrespectful to students.

Just signed up for her online class this semester and I already don't like her. Made up her own rule that any use of WhatsApp is considered cheating and sent out a passive-aggressive email about it. From all the reviews I've read it seems that she doesn't care if her students learn considering she doesn't keep up on posting lectures.

just no. avoid her if you can. blames students for her having to move the exam back when she hasn't even posted all the lectures for the stuff on the exam. lots of passive aggressive emails. the emails are a bigger source of stress than the actual class work. lectures are informative when she actually gets around to posting them though.

The absolute worst professor Ive taken. Do NOT take her class online or in person. Doesnt communicate at all, will go beligerante if you ask a question (if she answers you at all). Doesnt respond to emails & doesnt allow students to communicate with each other. Two exams & one optional final. Doesnt tell you whats on them till the day before.

She's the worst teacher I've had at Wayne State. Within the first couple weeks she reported and dropped students for using a WhatsApp group, when we didn't have any assignments (so they weren't cheating). She doesn't reply to emails, and holds lectures super inconsistently (11pm on Saturday). Her emails are always very rude and blaming somebody.

Im currently taking her class online, and she is one of the worst teachers Ive come across at wayne state so far. I understand that communication is a little bit difficult now because of Covid, but she wont even respond to a single email! She switched up the lecture times to night, and doesnt communicate about tests at all.

Professor Fino has been absolutely dreadful this semester. In the midst of a pandemic, she has failed to communicate and , frankly, went out of her way to make this course extremely difficult. She is not timely with responses, there was very little communication regarding assignments and she switched the scheduled time of the class. Awful!!!! 0/10

Unbelievably bad with no interest in seeing her students succeed. Test heavy focusing on three doom tests one of which being a hypothetical trick question test. An enemy of style and creativity who takes joy and passion out of failing students. Mass confusion ensued and goalposts were constantly changed during the course. If you want an F take this

so rude and condescending. lockdown browser crashed during one of my exams and she wouldn't let me retake it so i had to work insanely hard for a 1000 level class for my A. she was also super inconsistent: she let some students use another device with the textbook PDF on it during exams but didn't let others refer to the textbook.

Please stay away! If you can choose somebody else except her, please please do it asap! If not, good luck to you then.

AVOID HER AT ALL COAST! I heard many complain about her and thought how bad could she be, but it's a nightmare! She would not grade assignments until the end of the semester, no feedback either! She would also randomly add assignments at the LAST WEEK- FINALS WEEK and not talk about it in class. most of the classes were canceled last minute.

Just HORRIBLE. I made an account to make this review. I cant believe I paid $ for this. Doesn't respond to emails. Doesn't answer questions. NOTHING. She had to get 3 TAs for the end of the semester because shes MIA. It was a super easy class, but not worth the hassle. AT ALL. Don't take it!!!

Fino has no regard for making the course accessible for students. There is no syllabus available for course clarifications. There's assigned reading chapters before there's access to the textbook. Students reach out via canvas and get no response and once emailed, were prompted to call get help elsewhere. A complete disregard for students.

Avoid her! She usually provides large lectures that can be unclear, and she doesn't respond to her email or phone. There is heavy reading and vague instructions/slides, and you often won't be able to participate because she zips through lectures like nothing. She is a late grader and hasn't graded anything since February. And heavily unorganized -1

Avoid this professor at literally all cost. While the work is extremely easy, this professor will NOT communicate with you outside of class. At the very end of the semester, she began to change due dates of the quizzes we already took which began to change my grades significantly, stating that they were “late.” She STILL has responded to me.

Susan should NOT be able to teach online. The lack of communication is laughable. She didn't know that she needed to provide us a code for the software we needed at the beginning of the semester and failed to properly transfer grades at the end of the semester. She had students so stressed thinking that we're failing. She lacks all etiquette.

DO NOT TAKE HER!! She was literally one of the worst professors I had to deal with. She has no sense of communication with her students. She was MIA for most of the semester and never posted announcements or replied to emails. The whole class at the end of the semester had to get the dean involved to make sure everyone received the correct grades.

Cancels class every week. Will not respond. Failed half of the class.
