I took this prof. for math class, and she helped me out VERY much. Her notes are clear as her voice, her exams are STRAIGHT from the notes, and her grading is fair. In Oceonography, the material is heavy and involves alot of information but this prof. teaches it well and makes you more interested!

Her exams are straight from the notes. Do the homework, it helps understand the information- since there is so much. She tells you exactly what will be on the test and her study guides help alot. She makes it very easy for you to get an A and explains herself clearly.

The lectures get a little boring, but she is very nice and if you study you will pass.

Professor Frandsen is such an awesome teach. She makes science interestion and you actually learn in the class. You actually HAVE to study but its worth it. I used to hate science and fail it but shes so great. She is also such a sweetheart. ;-D

Um..this isn't the most exciting class, but school isn't supposed to be exciting. She's not the best teacher, but far from the worst. I'm not used to copying from the chalkboard, but you have to keep up or else the notes will be gone. Tests will kick your @$$ if you don't study, hard. If you don't like studying, take another class, seriously.

YOU HAVE TO DO ALOT OF COPYING FROM POWERPOINT. TESTS ARE EASY AS LONG AS YOU STUDY, WHAT'S ON THE STUDY GUIDE. HER CLASS IS A EASY 'A'.

Your hand hurts at the end of the class from all the notes she has you write down....If you study a little, and do the homework then you should do good in the class. She makes it easy to learn the work, and it was interesting learning some of it

I took her in the summer, and she makes it seem so easy. Be prepared to take plenty of notes, pay attention, and you wikk definiely pass. Prof. Frandsen was a really good teacher. She does gives lots of notes. She gives a review handout before every test. Just make sure you study the whole review sheet and you should get an A or atleast a B on every test. She gives extra credit on some of the test. Her test are very easy if you study. They are true and false and multiple choices.

Professor Frandsen made it seem easy. She gave lots of homework (odd problems only answers in back) but it was worth doing It helped me pass all my tests. plus she's pretty flexible when it comes to homework if you didn't do it throughout the course you could always show her at the end. I would absolutely recommend her she's always eager to help.

This is not the best teacher, yet not the worst. She gives loads of notes. You write from the beginning of class til the end, NONE STOP! She covers tones of information on the test. It's not impossible to pass bcuz she does give homework & 1 extra credit assigment to help your grade. Just keep in mind if you can find somebody easier, do so!!!

Prof. Fransen is a great teacher! However, she does give alot of notes and homework, but it is very helpful for her tests. If you miss a day of class you can get a little behind/lost. She goes over 2-3 sections a day. Gives a lot of homework but it helps for the tests & final. You take 3-4 tests & she gives you practice tests & goes over it the day before the test. As long as you show up & do all the homework, You will pass! I have an A in the class! She's the BEST!!!

She's an awesome professor she teaches from her power points. Get the book your only going to need it for the homework. Her tests are straight forward and she gives out study guides before each test. There is one extra credit assignment do that it will boost your grade at the end of the semester

Very nice lady, but the material in the class is hard. Especially if you have no interest in science! She puts on powerpoints everyday and you copy everything from it (talk about a sore hand)... She only does powerpoints so if you learn using a different method such as a hands on approach, etc.. you're screwed. Easy class if you study and read!

She really takes her time to explain the work. Helps you during her office hrs & sometimes comes in on her day off to prep for test/final! As long as you attend her class, don't get behind on your homework - you'll pass! She does give alot of hw but if you do it all you'll pass the test. 4 tests and the final is cumulative. be ready to take A LOT of notes. but it is very helpful because the tests are a little difficult but just take notes and review and you will be fine. overall very nice and helpful

I loved her! I was so stressed about taking this class because it was my third time... but she was so great! The way teaches is so clear and detailed, it makes it simple to understand. She gives great reviews for all exams. She's very nice and patient. One of the best math professors I've had :-)

Expect to take a lot of notes every time you have class. The tests are multiple choice and she does give you a review a day or two before the test. Study the notes AND the review and you are guaranteed an A. I got a B because I didn't spend a whole lot of time studying seriously. She offers an E.C paper too and her final wasn't bad

Great teacher, explains everything very thoroughly. The grade is 80% Tests 20% HW, HW from the book. The tests are usually 50+ questions and not really easy, but she gives great review sheets and teaches well. I got an A, just show up, do your HW, and study the review before the test.

She is very nice, organized, helpful and provides class notes for each lecture. Easy to understand when she teaches. Answers email quickly and always takes the time to answer any and all questions. A lot of homework on web assign which is graded but helps prepare for her tests which are fair if you study. Tests based only on what she teaches or hw.

I am awful at math, but thanks to this professor I passed! Best online math professor I've had (I've taken 3 online math classes besides this one). She is super helpful and wants you to pass. 8 homework assignments with 10 questions each and 8 practice quizzes that are extra credit. Highly recommended.

I took the accelerated class and it was a lot of work . This class has to be taken alone and you have to pay attention to it and to deadlines . She is very helpful and is there for you . She does absolutely everything she can to ensure you pass. Honestly if you fail it's on you .

If you are going to be lazy about this class, you will fail. This professor was very professional and very helpful. Willing to help you pass this class. It was calculus so you know it was hard but she made it somewhat easier. She makes a bunch of mistakes on some of her materials(like tests and study guides) so that's not cool. Otherwise a knowledgeable and nice teacher.

This is the best online math class I have taken. She is a very understanding teacher and cares about you as a person. She responds to emails daily and her virtual classroom lectures are awesome. To pass this class you must turn in all assignments and discussions on time and study for the tests. She does not use Aleks which is a relief. Take her!

Either statistics is super easy or she's just a great teacher. Math is the worse for me and I have managed to get 100% on all of her tests. She really makes sure that the class is understanding the material, and explains it pretty well. She's also very organized and gives extra credit! As hard as I heard this class is, she made it so much easier. I thought I was bad at Math until I took her class, now I actually Love Math. I took her for MAC1033 online, 6 weeks in summer. She is super organized and is crystal clear as to what is due when, how it is graded, how it counts in your final grade, etc. She sends out reminders all the time so you never forget what is due. She did a review before every test and before the final exam, online, via blackboard. TAKE HER CLASS!

She is so caring, for a 6 week online course, she does a review before each quiz and test so take advantage. Shes just a simple, nice instructor women who will go out of her way to help kids. Take her, rate my professor doesn't lie, when it says 100 percent, its really a fact how much of a good teacher she is. If not she'd have 50%.

Honestly, her class is easy, shes very nice not mean and is caring will go out of her way to help kids. The only bad thing about her is her quizzes have a couple mistakes on them so be aware of that and let her know even her practice quizzes which gives you extra credit toward your final if you get a 100. Email communication is fair with her too.

I'm more of an algebra person but she made the harder things easier for us. I took her half online half in class and she was pretty good. The tests are pretty simple considering the fact she legit takes time the class before to review. I recommend her to anyone taking a math class and is just coming into college.

Professor Frandsen is phenomenal. I had the pleasure of taking her online for MAT1033 and MAC 1105. She provides detailed reviews to assure students are able to understand the problems for each Unit. She communicates effectively and promptly to all emails. I would highly recommend her for math for students who struggle in math.

Professor Frandsen was a fantastic professor. She made review videos for the tests and was available for a one-on-one review when I needed it. When I got a poor grade on a quiz, she went over my mistakes with me and then let me retake it! She also uses Knewton, which is an AI software that gives you more or less work depending on how you're doing.

Well I took her for EVR1001 ,I dont think she teaches that class anymore but if you see her name anywhere on any subject please take her your not helping yourself out your helping me out for me knowing your in good hands .#facts

This class is not the hardest but definitely not an easy A, I did all assignments and received a B(89.19) wish she would have brought that to an A but whatever. Still a solid choice for an online course.

So i had professor frandsen for 1033 and 1105 online and it was hard, not going to lie but i worked for it. i have not taken math in over ten years, i got a tutor, met with professor online for one on one tutor, went to math lab, and overall got high B's in both class. i'll never forget how helpful and caring she was, she's a gem! i learned a lot

3 units 1-4 5-7 8-9 Every section has a Quiz each unit has a test (3 ) test are not difficult, follow the knewton work Final Exam is multiple choice 27 questions (easy) Teacher responds back in timely manner, she also very nice, she will reopen assignments back up 2-3 just so everybody can catch up. This class was generally pretty easy but in a shorter session there was ALOT of work. There was no pattern to when things were due and were practically everyday of the week. There were 4 assignments, 4 discussions, an easy project, 3 exams, optional final, and 18 quizzes. She seemed nice and offers some extra credit. If I had to I'd take it again

I hated the class because of the content but she was a good teacher, grades on time and responds to emails quickly. Other students and I did have a lot of issues taking tests because they were never open, seems like she's not great with technology and it effected every one of my test grades which were the only reason I had a C.

She was a very good professor. The workload wasn't anything crazy and truthfully I thought it was going to be worse. It is quite a fast-paced course, but honestly, I thought it was going to be harder. The tests are very simple and the homework isn't too bad, and I learned most of the content through myLabMath. It's not as bad as you think it is.

Please pay attention to the video reviews, she will tell you everything you need to know in the following test. Just put a little effort into each question on that review, and memorize all formulas because you will not have access to them on the final. All tests are taken on the lockdown browser with a mirror behind your chair.
