Professor Gannon makes psych so intresting and fun. She is always working in life stories into her lectures that help you to really understand what she is teaching. She also loves hearing everyones opinions on things. She loves what she teaches and makes it fun for her class as well. Her tests are also all multipul choice and are easy to pass.

She is an excellent teacher !! Definitely take her class if you have the option because you will understand everything ! She shows video clips, youtube videos and has her on experiences to help you remember certain things. She is always in a good mood and has an enthusiastic tone when she speaks so you can never be bored.

She's a good teacher, but she uses the text book too much and it can be kind of boring at times. She does use videos, though, and those provide good examples of the material.

Prof. Gannon is an amazing teacher!!! She's so nice and super helpful and friendly. Her classes are a joy to be in. The conversations get really interesting. We watched lots of videos and it's very relaxed. She loves people who talk in her class. It may seem like you can look up the studies online to do the hmwk, but buy the book. Hmwk is easy.

I just took for her a one credit saturday course "Creativity of Psychology". I should probably start off by saying I'm not a morning person and I'm the last to sign up for weekend classes.. However- I knew Gannon was teaching it so I had to take it. She was amazing and absolutely moving. I wish more teachers at SHU had her passion. Love her.

First time I've ever felt that I wish I took a class in the Fall/Spring instead of the Summer so that I could be in a class longer. Great professor and funny. Definitely a lot of reading but that's to be expected in a shortened Summer course. Straight forward grading, and writing assignments make sure you understand the concepts while being fun.

She is awesome!! I am taking her again! You learn SOO much with her. She makes lectures fun and gets people involved. You have a quiz every week (drops the lowest 2) and about a test every 3 weeks. Also you have homework due once a week. She is an easy grader with homework but tests and quizzes you have to study for but she gives study guides!!

Gannon is so funny and nice. She has a lot of energy so if you have her early in the morning have a cup of coffee before to keep up. She gives short quizzes before tests that are really helpful, the tests can be difficult so don't slack off when studying. She keeps lectures interesting with lots of stories. loved her

Gannon is very energetic and loves what she teaches! Weekly assignment since it is a blended class, but they take about 20 minutes to do. Definitely need to study for tests but she gives study guides and tells you what to review during her lectures! She loves helping you and always gives great real world examples to help better understand material!

One of the best professors I've ever had! Make sure to do the homework because it helps to boost your grade a lot!. Also study a good amount for the tests/quizzes because they count for a huge chunk. There is no cumulative final, just the last two chapters you are working on. I would crack up laughing every class- she is hilarious.

Amazing class. Lots of quizzes and homework but it makes the tests super easy. Tests and quizzes are always multiple choice and she gives a study guide for everything. No midterm or final. Also, she gives points for questions many people got wrong. Super easy if you pay attention to the lecture but you HAVE to read the textbook.

Such a hilarious amazing professor. You have homework and quizzes every week or two weeks but they help you so much in getting ready for the exams, and there are 4 exams. She always ties her lectures into real life situations and words things so that anyone can understand them. Quizzes and tests are pretty straightforward, she wants you to succeed.

I took Gannon for her internship class. She's great, and clearly plays favorites so if you've taken her before and she knows you, you'll be fine. Her lectures are absolutely amazing and she always tries to keep class to an hour, but in all honesty class goes by so fast with her. READ THE TEXTBOOK!!! Quizzes help prepare you for the exams and she usually reviews for the exam beforehand.

If you put in the effort it will be easy & she doesnt ask for much! She is AMAZING! You are never in lecture for the full time she cuts it by 15 mins if everyone stays focused! I took her class over the summer, Its an easy class if you actually do the work. she gives 4 tests (all open book), 4 discussion essays, and weekly assignments based on your reading. Since its online there is no set lecture so you can do the work whenever you want, but she offers office hours where you can go over whatever you may need.

A literal angel on Earth. Her lectures were engaging, funny, and to the point. All she asks is that you put your phone away and focus and you're usually out of there in under an hour. The tests were easy and exactly what she said they'd be. You have a weekly homework assignment, but they take like a max of 30 min and they're easy 100s.

I took Prof. Gannon for a summer psychology course going into freshman year. She was very clear about her expectations right from the beginning. Her class was lecture heavy and required lots of writing, but she was funny and engaging, and the material we learned was always interesting. As long as you put in the work, it's easy to do well with her.

I took Professor Gannon for psychology 110 over the summer, it was online with pre-recorded lectures. She made the lectures super fun and engaging. The workload she gave was super manageable as well, and she graded assignments super easy and always gave the best feedback. She is such a sweet and caring professor, please taker her if you can!

I really enjoyed Gannon's lectures even though they were all online, because you can really tell she is so interested in the material she is teaching. Professor Gannon had four test that were all online, open book, and could be taken from 8am - 1159pm on test day. As long as you show up to class for attendance and do good on your homework should get an easy A

The textbook isn't necessary, save your money! Almost everything in the power point is in the textbook. Very easy grader, the more you interact in class the better grade you get because she knows you. Overall easy A but attendance is mandatory, and she drops your lowest grade.

Very nice teacher who made a very lecture heavy intro course fun. The homework she expects us to do is very thorough and affects your grade more so than exams; almost every homework assignment I submitted was 800-1200 words, but if you buy the textbook (which is around 30 dollars) it makes it very easy. The exams aren't in person and are open note.
