compared to Prof. Gabb this lady is the best teacher in the world

honestly the class is very difficult. she is a great lasy and if you actually do the work she assigns and actually study for her tests,you dont have much to worry about.great prof.

Seriously if you do her work, pay attention in class, and actually go you'll do fine. I had her for Financial Management, and if u wanna pass with a good grade, take her. My final was open book :)

she is about the only teacher worth my money in St. johns. her material is not easy, but that is cuz she actually teaches. Everyone complains about her, but that is cuz they are simply dumb and lazy. She is too smart for most of them. hehe

Although she has a heavy accent, she is very clear. She teaches very well, and she even puts notes on the board. IF you really wanna learn something then she is worth taking. Her tests are semi-difficult, but shes teaches well.

She is the worst professor I have had this far. She cant speak English.Teaches on and on not asking if anyone understands.Goes way to fast.Tests are really hard.Learn to speak ENGLISH.DONT TAKE HER.She should lose her PH.D

This is an honest critique.Yes she has an accent but it is very understandable.Her class is only difficult if you don't read the work prior to class then use her to reinforce what you learned. Read the text and you should be fine InterestingStuff/Flexable

She's tough but she is an Excellent teacher. She is ALWAYS available for help and looks out for her students. She respects ALL her students.

I thought her class and work was real easy. She was really nice and although she has a small accent, I understood the course. I got an A in the class, just pay attention and take notes. I would take her again.

Everyone who says she is horrible obviusly thinks they are still in high school. This is a UNIVERSITY and she teaches a UNIVERSITY LEVEL CLASS. Her exams are reasonable and her style of teaching is not one to lead you by the hand. She is GREAT!

SHE IS VERY NICE!!!I have no idea what others are talking about. My grades were failing and I still got an B+. U just need to read the text, listen and take notes in the class, and do her homeworks(some of them appear on the exams)

shes a good teacher. Her tests aren't that easy, but she will help you if you need it. THe only bad thing is that she has an accent so you have to listen to what shes saying. If you want to do well in class you have to be there every class, then you should get an easy B or A.

Who ever said she was hard is stupid! I take her now and i breeze through the class, so she has an accent thats more of a reason for you to listen, do homework, practice with the examples she gives and show up... test are multiple choice theres five versions of the test so don't try to cheat!!

I will not lie to you and say that she is easy. However, she wants you to do well and if you show some initiative you will. If you're too lazy to do any work then you won't just as in any class. I got an A. Go to class and pay attention. Aware that she has a heavy accent so she's always willing to explain to you for understaning.

She is so nice. Her class is a bit dull and can give better notes but her exams are easy. The text is a plus. Talk to her & she will do her best to help you.

The class requires that you pay attention! you really shouldn't take your laptop to this class because copying down a few notes won't help you understand a thing. She's so nice and will stop in the middle of class to explain something again even if one person doesn't understand. I ended up with a B+, but it did require a good amount of studying

she barely used the book. in her class lots and lots of notes. there are 15 quizzes online for her and there were 3 tests including the final and the midterm(this one was online)she occasionally gave out hw but its optional and if you do it, it is extra cedit toward your final grade. i enjoyed it and was not a hard class, but not an easy one either

I seriously don't know why she has gotten such bad reviews. All you gotta do is go to class, take her notes, read the textbook, take the quizzes and do the homework. Easy A. Tests are not hard. She is very nice.

I don't know why she got any bad reviews. I took her for an online class and although it was extremely challenging she was always available to help whenever I asked, whether through Skype or office hours. It is a lot of reading and challenging to grasp especially online, but if you want to learn she will help you. Very sweet lady, would take again.

I did bad on the first exam and ended up with a C for my midterm grade. I went to her for help, did the HW (which is extra credit), asked questions and participated, never missed class and ended up doing very well on the final. I ended up getting an A. It wasn't easy because you need to read the textbook but her online quizzes help.

She's a very good professor. She's passionate about the subject and cares about helping her students learn and understand the material. Yes, there's a lot of stuff to cover, so read the textbook for details, but she's very good at explaining the key difficult concepts and making them understandable. Marks based on 4 tests, and small online quizzes.

Professor is great! She's clear, realistic, rational and at the same time understanding, devoted to helping students really grasp the lessons, interested in learning about the students themselves. She promptly responds to emails and has a good sense of humor, which lights up the course. So far the best online class I've taken! (I've had 4 till now)

She's a great professor. She's always there if you ask her for help. It's important to read the textbook because the materials are difficult. The textbook helps you to understand the materials. If you read all the chapters in the book, you will definitely get at a good grade in the class.

I might be an anomaly in most of these ratings but I absolutely loved this class. I didn't do too hot on her first test and she skyped with me just to go over questions and so I could understand what I missed. From there, the class became way easier just because I knew exactly what she wanted. Over all, she's pretty great just put in work.

She is a really good teacher, explains everything perfect. If you pay attention and don't skip class its an easy A. I would totally take another class with her!

Homework is extra credit. She doesn't take attendance but if you miss you will struggle because questions on the test are problems we've done in class. You can check your grade at all times on blackboard so you know what you have in the class at all times. Textbook is helpful for vocabulary but isn't really necessary.

I really like Professor Glanz. She is very helpful if you ask questions in class. All homework is extra credit, so I suggest you do it and it's not hard. I would definitely take her again. She makes sure that you understand the content. She takes attendance every class.

Workd hard to help. One test online

She was ready to tutor through Skype several times in the semester. Made course interesting

Four exams. Two were in class and two were online, one of them being the final. She also gives a timed online quiz at the end of each chapter. All her homework's are extra credit. Her notes are good, and she also gives power points. Well organized. Economics is not an easy class, but if you put the work in you can get an A. I would taker her again

Professor Glanz believed in my abilities when I didn't believe in them myself. She was always providing me feedback based on class performance, always willing to meet after class and clarify any of my confusions, and always passing on helpful books for me. By no means an easy class, but she went beyond the line of duty for me.

Glanz is such a nice person, but I can't seem to learn off of her. She lectures for the whole class, but always lets us leave 30 minutes early. The HW & quizzes are easy, but only worth 1 point so they don't affect your grade. I've struggled on the tests, even after studying for hours. I use the textbook to study, but you don't need it for HW.
