Susan Grieb is a great teacher. Her classes are fun and she makes the material as enjoyable as possible. She offers plenty of opportunities for extra credit. Highly recommended.

This was my favorite class!! I Learned so much and got an amazing grade. Mrs. Grieb has a great way of presenting the material and relates it to her own personal experience. I made a 99 in this class. Lots of chance for extra credit. Tests are very fair and are straight from the notes, which are straight from the book.

She is a great professor, honestly do not understand how anyone could not recommend her. She flat out doesn't pop quiz, and preps you for your test, and the final is just a repeat of all the test already taken, seriously how easy is that. GREAT professor! She is very thorough before tests with material, does go through lectures according to book guidelines; however, she incorporates very interesting stories about subject cases for examples, which makes it easier to understand theory & remember information needed for the tests. The tests are 50% mult and 50% fill in the blank.

Takes not every class all class, no book needed! very specific in the exam reviews which makes it very easy to study and get a good grade as long as you listened in class. great with giving feedback and helping you if you just ask.

Very interesting lectures, and definitely knows her stuff from past work experience. Her test reviews are very clear, and gives you exactly what you need to study for each exam. She gives good feedback, and help if you need it. Would take her again for any psychology class.

I thought that Mrs. Grieb was a very good teacher, however the tests in this course are half multiple choice and half short answer. The short answers count as double (sometimes more) than a multiple choice question, making the tests somewhat difficult. Make sure to keep track of your tests, as the final is made up of all the tests. Study handouts!

Hands down the most incredible professor I've ever had. She's extremely nice and light-hearted, and she keeps the lectures interesting. The tests aren't bad, because she gives you a study guide that displays exactly what's on them. Take good notes! A lot of the material is really easy, you just have to put forth a little effort. The worst thing is the powerpoints. Recommendation: PRINT OUT ALL POWERPOINTS! these will be all the notes you need to study. She gives clear study guides. Lots of extra credit opportunities. She tries to have fun in the classroom . She is an amazing person and very caring towards all her students. This class is super fun & easy.

Always starts on time and lectures are usually interesting so you should get there on time too. Always room for class participation and anecdotes. I especially enjoyed her stories about patients she worked with and interviewed while at. She g student. She gave a good intro to a broad topic of study and was very easy to get a hold of during the sem.

No Homework, but you defiantly have to study to pass the tests. Your total grade is an average of a term paper, 4 tests, and the final. Other than that this is a very interesting class and Grieb knows her stuff (recommend to anyone) ALWAYS print out the powerpoints to take notes. Lectures are clear and concise and you get out of class early a lot.

Love love love this professor. I took her my first semester at Wake Tech. I wish she would teach all of the psychology classes. She is AMAZING. Clear grading criteria and the only thing you need to do is show up, pay attention, and study. She makes the class so much fun and clearly knows what she is talking about.

Sue is ahhmazing. Your grade consists of 4 exams, a final, and a project. Study the PowerPoint's, and take a note of when she says, "This question WILL be on the exam." She blends the PowerPoint presentation with real life scenarios she's experienced, in class activities, and videos. Exams are fair, and she gives you a study guide as well.

I love Mrs. Grieb!! She is an amazing Psych 150 teacher and I can't wait to take Abnormal Psych with her again next semester! She tells amazing stories, but if you don't go to class, you're screwed. Her powerpoints do have all the info on them, and she hardly uses blackboard. If you come to class, and pay attention, you will be just fine.

Use the study guides that she post of black board. GO TO HER OFFICE HOURS AND TUTORING HOURS! She is always willing to help you. I did not use the textbook for this class at all so save your money, because its loose leaf and you can't return it or sale it back. Project is big. So get help for her on that too buy email or office hours.

Prof. Grieb is a very sweet person. Her lectures are interesting. Pay attention to her lectures and take down notes, make sure that you get help on the assignment and submit it way ahead of the due date as even if you have a car crash on the day of the submission and unfortunately are late she will not take the assignment.

Mrs. Grieb is the best! She tries her best to make class fun and talks about personal experiences to help students get a better understanding. Go to class!! The tests come straight from her lectures. She offers extra credit. Such a sweet and caring lady. Provides study guides. My lowest test grade was an 86, highest 98.

It's so interesting and prior to teaching she worked lots of psych jobs and shares all her stories in class. Print off the powerpoints before class and if you need help def go to her office hours (especially the day of a test).

Favorite teacher I've ever had, easily. Top info: Print off the powerpoints (lectures are fast paced but great), test material straight from lecture, gives study guides, only 3/4 chapter exams count (drops one), attend office hours on test day (she asks test questions). Overall amazing, caring and super approachable. Wish I could take it again! :)

Professor Grieb was one of the best instructor whom I ever had at Wake Tech Community College. She is like an angel. Her lectures are excellent. She used to be a clinician as well then she explains a lot of real true cases which help students to learn psychology better. In one word she is one of the best psychology instructors. I took 150 and 281.

My favorite professor by far. She was recommended to me and did not disappoint. She has amazing lectures (TAKE NOTES ON PPOINT LECTURES) and the were so enjoyable to listen to. I would recommend to everyone.

I took Psych 150 with Prof. Grieb online during COVID-19 pandemic. Grieb is VERY strict on due dates. She posts videos to aid with online learning instead of boring PowerPoint slides, which makes learning easier. There's 1 paper worth 15% of overall grade. This is an easy class to take if you have a heavy semester but turn in your work on time.

Grieb is a very fun professor who makes her lectures very interesting. If you pay close attention to the lecture videos, you can easily get an A in her course. She is strict about due dates, so do not expect credit if you turn in an assignment late. Overall, I would absolutely recommend taking this course!

Great PSY professor. Weekly quizzes, but if you watch her lectures & take notes on the PPTs & what she says, you will do well in this class. Tests are hard, she made it clear that the answers wouldn't be found online & she was right. But if you do the work she asks, you will pass the exams. She prepares you well for them. Professor Grieb was an amazing professor. She graded heavily with exams and pop quizzes. All the test and exams questions were answered in her lectures. Make sure to take a bunch of notes! The journal assignment was a heavy percentage of the overall grade, but was graded fairly.

Ms. Grieb's psychology class has been one my favorites. Her exams and quizzes always reflect what she covers in her lectures, so if you pay attention and take notes you should do well. She's also got clinical experience and often shares real-life examples of what we cover in class. If you have the opportunity to take one of her classes, do it.

Professor Grieb was an excellent teacher and I would 100% take another class with her. I was online and she made everything very accessible and fun. She assigns one major project throughout the semester but gives you plenty of time to complete it and is willing to help as much as she can. Weekly quizzes and lectures, but not too bad at all.

Grieb is straight up awesome! Weekly lectures which on average last about 50 minutes, however I found them to be very enjoyable to listen to. Every week there is a five question quiz to go along but they're usually cakewalks, and maybe 4 homework assignments throughout the semester and one project. You won't regret having her as your professor.

She was absolutely amazing, I would reccomend her to anyone. I took her class online and she was super fast at replying to my emails. Her lectures are entertaining and are easy to listen to. The class consists of quizzes, three flipgrids and fun homework assignments. I'm taking her again for my fall semester.

This teacher puts a lot of effort into her coursework. Her lectures are quite literally all you need to understand every homework, quiz, and test. (Do not buy the textbook! She does not make you or even encourage you to use one!) Overall very kind, informed and prepared at every lecture. Do keep in mind, you /will not/ pass without studying.

This class was super easy! Mrs. Grieb is an amazing teacher who really cares about her students. All her tests, quizzes, and the final came straight from her lecture notes and they were all very easy. As long as you watch her lectures you should 100000% get an A in the class. You have one project so don't procrastinate on it.

One of the most amazing professors I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Very open for discussion and tells amazing stories about cases she has seen in the field. The content can be a bit difficult at times, but nothing impossible. Just a warning, she won't accept late work for (valid) reasons, but there's plenty of time to get the assignment done

Professor Grieb is very helpful and presents her lectures in an easy-to-follow way. There will be a lot of information to retain throughout the course. Taking notes during lectures and reviewing them is necessary. When I needed help with my paper she was available to chat and provide sources and a good way to approach the topic. Thumbs up.

It's a loss if you don't take the class! If you are a Psych major, this is the best class you can take in the Wake Tech psychology department. Professor Grieb has first hand clinical experience to add on to each topic and is exceptionally caring to each student & any personal situation. Her class let people open up and is very inclusive&theraputic.

I don't enjoy psychology so this class was a bit hard for me, but overall if you're into psychology she is the professor to take. She'd probably be way better in person than online though. The tests and quizzes ranged from way too specific to quizlet level. The project is easy, just follow the grading criteria. There is flipgrid so be warned.

It was overall a very easy class and professor Grieb was nice. We only had 2-3 homework assignments throughout the 16 week semester, and 1 paper which she gives you like 2 months to work on. We also had like 4 exams which were all from the quizzes. We had one quiz per week. Easy class if you do the work.

I would definitely recommend! I took the class online (laid out well!) and she was always available regularly during office hours. Every week, there was an assigned reading, online lecture to watch, and a short chapter quiz (counted as attendance for the week!). There was also a written project (guideless clearly defined!) and a few flip grids.

Even though I took PSY150 online, I still feel like I retained a lot of information because of how amazing her online lecture videos were. I loved her, and you should 100% take her!

Very kind and knows a lot about the field. Under no circumstances is late work accepted, and if you receive a 89.9 she will not round your grade to an A. There is one 8 page research paper (in every PSY150), but she's a fair grader if you follow the rubric. I'd recommend her class if you don't have an issue turning in things on time.

Professor Grieb was my fav! Take good notes on her lectures and you'll do good on her quizzes. She provides great study guides for the exams. She does not accept late work so be mindful of that! She's super sweet and you can tell she cares. Take her class! An A is very achievable.

I loved this class! Her lectures feel like stories. She cares about her students' success along with their mental health. She will help with study sessions before exams (go to those) and during lectures specifically tell you what you need to memorize!

Take notes on the lectures, skim the chapters. All the quiz/test questions in lectures. She is a good professor who wants to help. Not much feedback on the term paper, but that's fine. NO late work. If you watch the lectures and do your work on time you will succeed. Lock down browser tests with no backtracking.

prof greib is very sweet and caring. she always responds to emails and has a lot of office hours available (though i haven't used them). class is relatively easy for the most part. the term paper is not too hard, so don't let it steer you away from taking her class. it's eight pages double-spaced. (textbook is free also!)

Great teacher. Not a lot of homework. There is a 45 minute lecture to watch each week and a 10 question quiz. Make sure to watch videos because she hides extra credit in them.
