This class was ridiculous! It was easy at times, but hard at other times. Dont have to do any homework and I wouldnt recommend it. Skips around alot. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT GIVE HER YOUR NUMBER!!!! She will call you if you make a bad grade on anything! And she's sexy!

She's really nice. She gives you all the notes and even lets you use them on the tests. There is absolutely no reason to fail this class, even if you can't add 2 and 2. She will call you if you miss alot of class or make a bad grade, just to make sure everyhting is okay in your life. I's diffenatley reccommened her.

Honestly the best teacher i have ever encountered. Not quite sure how to describe it.. think of her as a character out of all these teacher movies you see on TV; just in real life. She cares, she tries and it shows. Her explanations are clear, the classes fun (yes FUN math), she is motivated and wants you to do well. I wish for more like her.

HEr class is pretty nce. She uses the textbook only for homework that you don't have to turn in, but she has created her own little textbook that is much better. Uses e-mail to communicate to students and sent 8 on the first day. Go to study sessions and do homework and go to class to make a good grade. One really easy project.

I struggled at the start but then she contacted me and when I started going to the help sessions she holds, I started to do well. Buy the textbook and mathxl package from the bookstore asap while the price is low. Mathxl is necessary and provides extra help. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HER!! she is the best math teacher i have ever had and I am sad that I will not be able to take her for my next math. I hate math and I am horrible at it, but with all of her hard work and effort I believe i will do pretty good in this class. Great teacher, makes Calculus easy to understand. Very easy to get an A in her class, go to class, do the MyMathLab (20% of your grade). Offers help sessions after every class, extra credit, will take the time to help you in every way possible. You can score high C's low B's on tests and up with an A. If you can't pass her class, you're not trying.

There really is nothing bad to say about this professor. Just take her! The only thing that was a pain in this class is that she put the notes that you needed for the next day up pretty late. It was kind of hard for me since I did not have a printer so some days I would be without notes. But she puts them on the projector so it wasn't that bad.

I am a math person so the class itself was not too difficult, however Professor Hardy definitely made it enjoyable and easier. This class will get you familiar with multiple systems of statistics like Excel, R, SAS, and Python. It is project based so make sure you understand what is happening in class. Professor Hardy prepares you for real world jobs so yes she is a tough grader but as long as you do the work and ask for help, it can be pretty easy. She is always available

Professor Hardy is a difficult teacher because she makes students work for their grade. This is not a class where you will be given the material and be expected to regurgitate it. She teaches students to think so they will be able to succeed in the work force. If you want an easy A and do not want to think for yourself, then do not take this class.

Prof Hardy is quirky and hilarious but mostly she wants to see her students succeed. It's not the easiest class (stat never is) but her grading criteria is built in such a way that gives the student every opportunity to do well. Most of all she makes sure that you understand the material and hosts help sessions if you need just a little more help.

I am a person who always struggles with math, but Professor Hardy always knows how to explain the course content in a way that makes sense. If you struggle at all in the course she is more than happy to help you one on one. She is genuinely the best math teacher I have ever had, I wish I could take her for every math class!

Prof Hardy is seriously the best professor I have ever had at KSU. Before taking her class I had never made above a B or C in math, but I have an A in her class currently, and will likely end the course with an A as well. She truly cares about her students and wants to see every one of them succeed. If math isn't your strong suit TAKE PROF HARDY!!!

I don't even rate my professors but TAKE HER!!! If you're like me and math just doesn't seem to click with you, she makes it easy to understand. Tests are exactly like the study guides. Paying attention IN CLASS is 95% of the battle. The other 5% is connect math, which she gives you the entire semester to do.

Prof Hardy is amazing and I really appreciated her structured teaching style. She taught how to process and apply the info & steps in a way that was easy to understand, and remember. She engages the class, is clear about expectations, and explains things in such a way that even the the more complicated & complex concepts are easily attainable.

Dr. Hardy is really great. She gives you everything (and more) that you could possibly need to do well in her class. Basically, she teaches like an elementary school teacher--material is broken down and very easy to understand. I wouldn't say she gives everyone an A but you can only do so much as lead the horse to water--you can't make them drink.

Professor Hardy was amazing. She would always have help sessions everyday and she wouldn't move on from a topic until everyone understood it. She let us exempt the final if we had an A in the class (which is really easy to have) and if we got an A on our last test. Do the HW, go to class and you'll be able to get an A. Professor Hardy is great! At the beginning of the semester you have to buy all of her notes but its not too expensive and it has everything you need. She lets you use a toolbox with all the formulas and everything on her tests and makes sure to explain everything thoroughly to ensure that everyone understands. Her teaching style is really helpful

AWESOME. Has her own textbook, $20 at most and it is the best. I made a 100 on every test and I am terrible at math. I made a B in college algebra. She is smart and is so helpful and is super clear about what is on a test. She even has tons of practice tests and problems. TAKE HER. you can also use a premade booklet on the tests that help a lot.

She's one of the best Math professors I've had in a while. She's very clear in her syllabus and grading. She will go out of her way to help you. The tests aren't too bad. You just need to make sure you know the material. Her teaching style is great too. There's normally about 1 assignment online each week. Sometimes none.

I dislike Math with a passion. Professor Hardy is a gem. I took the MAYMESTER 2019 for 2wks/5hrs a day, it was tough, but her energy and what she brings forth each day is what got me through the course. She is not like your average professor, she seriously cares just listen to her! Follow her instructions! There is no reason to Cheat in her course.

She basically lays out the entire class for you and it's extremely easy to learn with her.

Fantastic professor! Easy A if you try. Makes class interesting and exciting. Has a very unique style of teaching and a daily positive/happy attitude. I suck at math but I have managed to get an A on every single one of the tests. She really cares about the students and wants to make sure that we all pass. She gives the best study material I have ever received for every single test. She also gives extra credit for being organized and taking a survey. 12/10 recommend!!

Professor Hardy clearly cares about the success of all students. It is obvious that she works VERY hard to help everyone out and is extremely resourceful. It seems like she is available after class 24/7, so if you need help all you need to do is ask. Very sweet, caring lady. Be ready to work hard. 10/10 recommend. You will definitely learn!

Prof Hardy knows the field and prepares her students for it. The HW can be tough & she's specific about what she wants, but she meets with her students regularly outside class to help them understand material and meet her expectations. She genuinely cares and loves her job. Prof Hardy is one of my favs and I highly recommend.

Prof Hardy is the best. She clearly cares about her students and is passionate about what she does. This class is definitely hard but she is there to help with anything and everything she can. She is one of the few teachers that wants you to learn above all else. If you have the chance to take her DO IT!! You won't regret it.

Prof. Hardy gave me so much confidence in myself when it came to STAT. I have never been the best at math but her in-depth notes are very easy to understand and she makes the material manageable. Even in the wake of COVID she was always accessible and open to adjustable tutoring/office hours. Attend her class reg. and everything else will be easy.

do all your homework its not a lot and she has study sessions that really help, go to every class and do the participation assignments to guarantee an A, do the practice tests and youll do good on every test

Being a student that usually struggles in Math classes, Dr. Hardy's class was a breath of fresh air. Her class was the easiest Math class I have ever had by far, and she made truly wants the best for her students. If you take her for STAT 1401, I recommend finding a study partner or group, as she sometimes struggles to fully explain things.

Professor Hardy is probably the best professor for this class! She really makes sure everyone understands the topic before moving on and makes sure everyone passes the tests. However, in order to pass with a good grade you should try to make every class. This class actually helped me to like statistics, take her if you can!!

Professor Hardy is one of my favorite teachers! She does a great job of explaining the material and the tests are very easy if you study a little (they are all on connect math). Take her if you want an easy A!

She does zoom but I only attended 3 times bc I taught myself everything through Connect and I'm awful at math. The homework is the same as the test, just with diff numbers. So write down your homework problems and answers and helpful notes bc you'll make an A on every test. Only annoying thing is she never replied to emails.

Out of all my online professors, Professor Hardy was my favorite. She constantly kept us on our toes with pop quizzes and extra credit for in-class and extracurricular participation. She also used methods that genuinely worked, such as using The Three Musketeers to help us remember sampling groups. Plus, I got to do drag for that same session!

Dr. Hardy is amazing, she really cares about her students success. Although class attendance is not required, I do suggest going to class, because she has thorough lectures. She is readily available outside of class if you have questions or concerns, even on weekends. She is very helpful if you are looking for a job or internship to gain experience

I took the "maymester" course for STAT and let me tell you DO NOT WASTE A WHOLE SEMESTER ON THIS CLASS! The maymester was only 2 weeks long and she teaches the class very well and is always available if you need help. The tests and open note and very straightforward, if you do well on the homework you will do amazing on the tests. Great class!!

This class was a breeze. Professor Hardy teaches well, provides tutoring sessions, responds to emails promptly, and we had an option to either come to class or join through zoom. She posts the zoom recordings as well if you need to miss a day, just email her to update it because she forgets. The homework is also the same as the tests. TAKE HER!

Hardy is helpful and wants you to succeed. She does not take attendance but you shouldn't skip, and she has class over zoom if you don't want to show up in person. Caring and accessible outside of class. She knows what she is teaching. The only thing I didn't like was her grading system. It should be a straightforward system but it is not.

This is a two week, five hour (sometimes longer because she offers help sessions for two hours after class) every day MTWRF class. I was so scared going into the class, but honestly Professor Hardy is amazing. She works so hard to make sure you get off the Island of STAT 1401. IF you are bad at math, take her. She won't fail you.

I took her Maymester and it was very daunting to take a two week course and have class every day but it was absolutely worth it. You must dedicate your time to this class. I understood her lectures very well and she was very accommodating with homework. I have never been good at math but I am so glad I did this.

Professor Hardy was my favorite professor of my entire semester. I like statistics as is, but she makes learning math so easy. Sometimes she teaches like we're children, but for me that helps a lot. She comes up with things to help us remember, homework and tests are through ALEKS and all of the tests are the homework questions. Def recommend.

I am currently taking this class and it is great. She has her own set of notes that you can get and she will teach through those. There is always homework on Aleks, but it is very helpful and an easy 100 as you get to keep doing it until you get it right. The test is the same questions from the homework.

All I can say is this woman is the best professor ever! She makes learning fun, and her material is easy if you pay attention. Even if you don't understand.. Aleks helps a lot in the explanation area, which helps me personally. Take her if you can !!!!!

She is a very amazing teacher, she teaches you in multiple ways to understand the topic. She also gives shortcuts on the calculator to help. Tests are in person, but if you do your homework and go to class youll get an A. A lot of extra credit and she literally zoomed at 12:30am one night to help me on homework.

Great professor, you can tell she enjoys her job and wants her students to succeed. With any class, you get as much as you put in. Ask questions if you don't understand she wants to help and keep up with the aleks so you're not trying to do everything finals week lol.

Professor Hardy makes statistics easy to understand as she explains the reasoning behind what we are doing. You will pass this course if you come to class and complete the ALEKS homework. There are four tests and a cumulative final, but they are exactly like the ALEKS homework. She offers extra credit opportunities.

Just as others have mentioned, Professor Hardy is fantastic. Your grade consists of four exams, homework, participation, a department assessment, and a final. She is excellent at teaching and very patient. The exams are precisely like the homework, and she offers help sessions every day. Do your homework daily, practice and you will make an A.

If you are bad at math or statistics, PLEASE take Professor Hardy! She made everything easy, and her lectures can be entertaining. I would take this class twice because I enjoyed it so much. Tests are just like the homework, just changed the numbers. The only downside is that the notes are $15 and it's not smart to skip a lecture.

Statistics do not sound fun but Hardy makes it fun. You should buy the $20 booklet from the school library for her class because she goes over the entire class within that booklet, it is very helpful for when you're studying. She does ALEKS for homework and test grades and she's really funny, she gives me Ms. Lawton vibes.

Keep in mind if you take her for May semester The lectures will be long since it's a two-week course but it's engaging, and she ensures you understand the material. Hardy is the best professor you will ever have for a math course. She's understanding, caring, and walks through the WHY of math, not just the how. Has a textbook available, but you won't need it so long as you buy her required notes from the bookstore. Worth every penny. Love her.

Professor Hardy's STAT1401 class is a gem! She has a unique teaching style that makes the subject engaging. LOVE Prof. Hardy. personally have never been a math person and I'm not strong with it, but she has a great way of explaining things and is always available to help and always takes questions. the class can be tough if you fall behind bc a lot of the material builds on what you've previously learned, but she keeps D2L updated really well.

She uses Aleks for all homework and test. You can take homework as many times as you need to get an A, and they are the same questions as the tests. Attendance is extra credit. If you get all A's on homework tests are super easy. Practice your calculation programs and you will do great. She is very open to any questions and has lots of patience.

She is such a good teacher when it comes to Math. She explains everything clearly and goes step by step. She is also so caring and wants the best for her students. There are so many resources available for help. I went to SI with Aiyana, and she cleared up any questions that I had. Overall, I would recommend her for Stat.

I have her 8am rn and I don't regret it one bit. She is an amazing teacher. Her tests are online and at home. Just do the homework and get 100 on them, just put effort. she is very nice and takes late work but with penalty, all your work is on ALEKS with many parts to it, a lot of work but very easy just time consuming. exams are also on ALEKS so no lockdown. attendance is not mandatory. overall she is very great just a lot of work.

She makes Stats easy. Definitely buy her notes or print them out. It's all you need the entire class, and it's only like $18. Tests and homework is on ALEKS. If you do your homework and the practice, you will ace the exams. She gave us an extra credit opportunity for 10 points at the end of the semester too. I would take her again if I could.

Professor Hardy is an exceptionally professional, who genuinely cares about your success. I highly recommend her for Statistics. During my Maymester, we had the opportunity to learn the entire course in just two weeks, and it was an incredible journey. If you prefer a more relaxed pace, you can opt for her during the regular semester.

Prof Hardy really cares about her students. If you invest your time in the work she assigns, you will be ready to enter the workforce with confidence. It is a heavy workload, but it doesn't feel like busy work. You will come out of the class an expert. Pay attention in class, ask good questions, and meet with her outside of class and you will ace.

Hardy is amazing! You will have to take actual time, and put in effort to complete the assignments but in the end you will actually have gained and retained knowledge. It is sometimes hard, but meet with her. It HELPS!!! If you use AI, you won't pass. Hardy is specific, but for good reason. She wants her students to do well. You have to try!
