Ms. Herking may be hard, but she is interested in the subject, there is no guessing about what you need to know and it is very easy to get an A in her class if you put in the time to study!!! Her class prepared me for A&P 1 &2 and Microbiology, all of which I received an A in. She is worth the time!

Ms. Herking does an excellent job in explaining concepts through real life examples, this helps to grasp the material better. She makes it attainable for everyone to receive a high mark in her class and for those who fall short need only look at themselves.

Mz H, as she likes us to call her, is a great teacher. She was very clear about her material and her class was very interactive. She always told us exactly what would be tested and what wouldn't be. Her class is hard, but that's the nature of A&P. I would suggest her to anybody.

She was real helpful, took a lot of time outside of class for extra help if we needed it. She stuck to the objectives and made sure she covered all of them in class and that we understood them.

Ms H is awesome. Her lectures incorporate real life explanations and situations with plain facts. Tests are straight from the objectives. Her lectures are fast, she packs so much information in them, so you must take quick notes or if you miss something, ASK! She will repeat. I received a high A in this class. I hope to take her for A+P.

She is a very good teacher and it seems like she loves science. She was easy to get along with and her teaching method is very good. The information and materials are absorbed unlike with some subjects and teachers. Overall I would have her as much as I could.

Ms. H. rocks. She is an amazing teacher and anyone who takes her is lucky. She goes fast but will take the time to go over anything you need help with.Easy to stay awake in an 8AM class. If you skip class a lot, don't take her.

Mrs. Herking was a very nice high energetic teacher but she was also very hard. Very very hard. I think the only way people can pass that class is if they have no job and no kids and areable to study all day long or they are just genious!

Great teacher! Really a tough class but she has a very liberal grade scale. Allows for tons of bonus points usually 15 to 20 on each test. I highly recommend this prof.

Very nice teacher, she explains the material very well and gives many hands on activities to help students learn. One thing I didn't like about it was the amount of material that had to be done in one week and was tested on the following monday. The tests were hard, definitely had to know the material well to pass the tests.

The best for making a clear picture of the kreb's cycle, CAMP cascade and circulatory system. Her mnemonics are still with me on the floor at the Cleveland Clinic for different cell types and hormonal communications systems.

Miss Herking is a wonderful teacher. She really knows the topics without needing a book in front of her. She explains it in a way that I remember a lot of what she said. She is very enthusiastic and definitely will wake you up. I would definitely take her again.

The easiest Biology class that I have ever taken. Weekly quizzes, tests, and assignments. As long as you print off your powerpoint slides and the extra notes, you will do fine. Ms. "H" is one of the best Biology professors. Responds to emails quickly and is very helpful.

Outstanding instructor. She is clear on the work she expects students to do, conducts a pre-test review session, and her office is always open to students. The one flaw with her class is that she isn't very receptive to feedback, which in itself is a very small thing anyways. I'd take her again if I needed anymore Health courses.

Ms.H is very and enthusiastic and knows her stuff. She gives you a study guide for each test that she goes over. Oh and never let your cell ring during class..or bring drinks to lab..ever, lol.

This class is not easy, but she makes it interesting and is enthusiastic. Some peopele said she doesn't know her material, I felt she taught in way that only those well versed in the subject could. This class is tough but if you study hard at what she tells you to know, you'll be fine. I would, and have, take any class with her again.

She teaches as if you are hearing it for the first time. She tries to make it as simple as possible which is great. Very enthusiastic and really knows her stuff. I would recommend her. Took hybrid online class, requires a lot of self learning if you have a handle on chemistry. But she is very quick to respond online and gets grades back quickly!

She is very fast paced, and has little patience. Otherwise she explains the material well, and offers many ways to earn points. I learned alot in the class but took some time to get used to her style of teaching, not for everyone.

Ms. H is the best Bio teacher ever. She uses life experiences to relate everything she teaches so you understand. And has opporunities to earn extra credit sometimes. Her test, she usually lets you know ahead a time what you really need to focus on. Overall an excellent teacher.

Overall, Ms. H was outstanding; however, this was a hybrid course with an aggressive pace. That said, it is not for everyone. You need to commit a lot of time to learning on your own. She was more than willing to provide context and additional resources. For someone like me with a job and busy life though, this was a PERFECT fit. Thanks C-State!

I attended the online hybrid course in CHE110 fundamentals of chemistry. Overall a good class! She is very helpful and fair with grading. Yes, the class is challenging and you have to meet Saturday mornings, but if you can do the online work and show up on Saturdays, you will be ok.

I really like her class, she is a great teacher plus she is funny. her class is not that easy but she explains everything realy well. there is a lot of material to cover but if you study you will be fine. i hope i can take classes with her next semester . one of the best teachers i ever have.

I really loved taking my class with Mrs. H. She went over her material very well and made sure everyone understood what was going on in the class. Her classes were very challenging. I usually got out of class about 10 late because she would still try and cover class material.

I had Mrs. H for anatomy and physiology 2, and she was great. I have to admit, the first couple of weeks/ tests I didnt think I would survive her class but it gets better (trust me). I took chem 110. The hardest class I have ever taken till date. If I had another teacher, I'm pretty sure I would have either failed or dropped this class. She is very tough, but at the same time pushes you to do better. When you stumble, she tells you not to give up, to keep trying. Though this class was very hard, she is the best teacher ever!

She is absolutely incredible. I took her online class of Biology for my four year university and she was so understanding. I learned a lot that I wouldn't learn in lecture, did my assignments, and got an A. If you try, you're good. She is so quick for feedback. HIGHLY recommend. One of the best!

She has sense of human. Clarity and moral support to encourage students to work hard and harder. Always monitoring online assignment and mastery level for us to work ahead of time. In fact, She will make you worked for every grade. Last but not the least, Quick reply of e-mails.

Mrs. H was a homework giver. She gave homework like it was your only class. It was hard but if you do the homework you will get great grades on the tests. Heavy material but great teacher. Ms. Herking is able to break down hard concepts in different ways for different people. She gives multiple chances to make up work, and is always available for tutoring outside class. But others are right. Skip class, no chance. She is also one of the most genuinely caring teachers I've had.

There is a lot of homework and sometimes it is hard to keep up with the work load. Very understanding and helpful if personal issue arise during the course. Fair grade but a lot of work.

She made very clear what was expected of you in your assignments and tests. She gave good feedback to discussion board topics. I've had a couple of profs that gave no feedback to discussion boards. She kept up with posting your grades on a timely basis, so you always knew where you were grade wise throughout the semester.

Professor Herking was my favorite teacher at Cincinnati state. In Lab she was the most helpful than any other teacher I have ever had by far. She prepares you unlike any other teacher I have had in any science class. she will challenge you and prepare you for the next level of your education. If you put in the work you will not regret taking her.

Hardest class of my life. The tests were super difficult. Mrs. H is very caring and wants to see EVERYONE finish her class. She will work with you; gave me plenty of new study tips and I utilized them and found what improved my test grades by 10% each time. Must attend class to pass. She is very humorous and entertaining for lectures.

Professor Herking is a fantastic teacher. While learning A&P2 she gets you to begin looking at the material from a clinical perspective. This will prepare you to be not only well prepared for your program, but also for the real world. Go to class, do the homework which by the way will make the material make SO MUCH SENSE to you.

First attempt taking this class at another college got a D. Susan helped me get an A. Amazing professor. Can be blunt and easily clash with personalities, but definitely worth it. She truly wants to see her students pass and succeed throughout college.

She is an amazing teacher but is very sarcastic and makes crazy remarks but if you just look at it as your coming to learn and not be a friend to her then you will get a lot out of the course and she is a great teacher in that right, but not as approachable. Would be great as a clinical teacher.

Mrs. Herking was my A&P 2 professor for this spring semester. One of the reasons why I like Mrs Herking is because she respected my IEP. My other professors did not give me extra time when it came to test and quizzes, but Mrs. H allowed it. She is also good about giving feedback when she grades your test and quizzes.

Very hard to know what she wants on tests but wants you to succeed. She respected my accommodations and was willing to go above and beyond to help me.
