This lady had an attitude problem. She is verbally accusatory and very tempermental. Probably good if you are perfect, but noone is. She yelled at a minimum of three people in front of the entire class, completely stopping class as she became enraged.
She is irrational, unhelpful, & rude. On our first poems she did not give anyone higher than a 69% claiming that our poems were too poetic...I kid you not. DO NOT EVER TAKE HER! She has the rep of being the worst Eng teacher at UCF.

She is horrible!!!! She is the meaniest professor I had at UCF. She thinks she is so good and great at writing. She never showed any of her own work. She embarasses people in front of class, including me. She never answers questions. FLAT OUT RUDE.
Did require a lot of work, but if you participate, she is very helpful. An A is possible if you complete the assignments and attend class.
This person should NOT be allowed to teach. Rude, unable to function, impossible to communicate with, changes assignments after completed, no learning involved in her classes. Stay away!
The worst class I've ever experienced. She's totally unclear, unhelpful, vague with what she wants, is downright RUDE. I don't know anyone in the class that actually likes her. I will never take a class with her ever again.
Spraker is the rudest teacher I have ever encountered. She treats students like children, and I learned nothing in this course - wait, I did learn one thing - that I know more about poetry than she does. Rating her a 1 is giving her too much credit.
Spraker is the absolute WORST teacher ever. She shouldn't be allowed to teach EVER AGAIN and talks down to her students, as well as tries to embarass them and plays favorites to certain students. She has no idea how to teach or act respectfully!
Took the class online, so we never met f2f. She was always quick to respond to email though. And she was very helpful in explaining techniques and great at critiquing your use of them.
RUDE is an understatement. Do not take her at all costs.
Mrs. Spraker is disorganized and knows nothing about poetry. Do not take her class online period. It is entirely too tedious and a waste of your time and money. If you are looking for an online professor for this course try Lindee Owens.
Avoid at all cost. Doesn't want to help you at all in any form. Horrible!!
Rude, unprofessional, and has no knoweldge of subject area. Infuriating class with an infuriating professor who is clearly unqualified. Her unit on poetry is both laughable and frighteningly idiotic. Avoid at all costs.
Shockingly inept. UCF has made an egregious error in allowing such a bitter, poorly-trained woman attempt to "educate" students. An embarassment to the profession.
are you serious?? I was in 2 of her classes couple of semesters ago she was not bad I mean I wished I had more constructive criticism from her because other crw professors pointed at things she never noticed in my fiction but she was very nice
Absolutely unacceptable and insanely rude. When confronted on a grading mistake she made, she repeatedly rolled her eyes at me, stared daggers, clucked her tongue, and made her contempt for me at having brought up the idea she could be wrong very apparent
This class was really great! Ms. Spraker was fun, laid back, and interesting. I learned a lot about nonfiction writing from her. Great class! :)
I took this class online and found it to be very organized and interesting. There was work due M,W,F but it isn't too strenous and as english majors we should look forward to writing assignments so we can get more practice! We had to complete a short story, poem, and non fiction story by the end.
Spraker has a serious workload, which I don't mind, but when you receive a B- for busting your butt and ask her why, she refuses to offer an explanation and becomes defensive and rude. AVOID THIS WOMAN AT ALL COSTS!
Took the online course. Very straight forward and easy to work around. her suggestions helped my writing and editing skills. Worth while course. Nice prof.
Took her online. It is almost impossible to get an A, workload is huge and you'll end up busting your ass with only a B to show for it. She's nice enough, but isn't very helpful when you ask questions.
It was kind of hard to get an A here but i think she did a pretty good job. It seems that she doesn't have as much training or skill as the other UCF profs but that didn't make it a bad expirence for me. I found her very nice and understanding.
Worst teacher I have ever encountered. She is terrible in helping you get your point across and gives you a bunch of pointles stupid work. This is the worst class ever and AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I'm even switching my tracks because of her from english to political science.
I took her class online, got a B, and found it to be extremely helpful for my writing. Although, her class is a lot of work, her criticisms are very objective and she uses a detailed rubric. You get plenty of time and chances to fix your drafts according to the rubric before the end of the semester. Bottom line, she gives the grade you deserve.
This class is INCREDIBLY subjective... and probably made a lot of people rethink their majors. She is really helpful to students outside of class (through e-mail). However, she will hand you a graded paper with suggestions on it. You go and correct those suggestions and then she tears them apart again (I dont get it).
This woman is horrid. Tons of **** work, not enough weight on the actual manuscripts, is rude to her students, not available for help, almost failed because of her inability to be clear. Took her online, so glad I never had to see her face to face. Stay away from this one. You've been warned.
Took this class online. The book helped more than anything. Revisions go smoothly if you pay attention to what she wants. Worry about the big assignments before you strain yourself on other comments, posts and such. Participate with your class, but your assignment contributions come first.
Worst teacher I have ever had. I got an A in the class but it was probably the hardest A i have ever worked for. ALot of pointless, meaningless work that she seems to pull right out of her behind. Don't expect any help from her in person or online.
Great teacher! Always willing to help as long as you ask for it. Some of the work was a little pointless, but the over all papers were good. Took it online and it was a little confusing at first, but I got through it. Take her she isn't as bad as some people say.
She beats every ounce of actual creativity out of her students with pointless work and harsh revisions and critiques and forces her preferences on us as the only "good" type of writing. Take at warning. Worked my ass off and only got a B+.
I agree. She is extremely judgmental about what she reads and how she grades. If she reads something that she doesn't consider "interesting subject matter" then your grades going to suffer because of it. She is more focused on grammar and mechanics than encouraging students to become successful creative writers. I wish I had another teacher.
My second time taking her and I think she does a great job. She gives you a lot of extra work, but she bases your grade mostly on final revisions. Never taken anyone else for crw at UCF so don't know if there's any better. Taking her again in the summer.
She made me not want to pursue creative writing. Her class is a**** load of work and her feedback is just plain confusing. She's a nice lady, but I don't think even she knows what she wants. I'd recommend someone else for this class, so your grade isn't screwed if you mess up on your stories. They're worth 50%.
If you are considering taking this teacher just look through these ratings and decide for yourself. I even tried to confront her, calmly and maturely, about her attitude towards us and she took credit for nothing and basically through it back on me. And be forewarned you will have to work extremely hard to earn an underrated grade. Horrible prof.
LOTS of busy work that counts for barely anything, stories count the most and thats it! Doesn't like your opinions on critiques always wants more. Isn't very clear on what she wants. Takes up alot of your time!
Prof. Spraker commits the class to egregious amounts of "busywork", but her critiques of written work are good, perhaps a little advanced for most students at this level. She is often unclear about dates and sometimes assignment parameters. I think CRWs are touchy classes to start with and most students don't like her because they don't write well.
Allthough she is one of the most helpful teachers outside of class, Spraker devotes the class to large amts of busywork and is incredibly subjective in grading. She discourages otherwise talented writers away from the major (a few of my peers have jumped ship after taking her.) Avoid if possible.
I took this teacher and worked my ass off for a B+ last semester. She is extremely judgemental about her grading. Critiques have to hit a sweet spot with her in order to achieve a good grade. If you critique too tough she will slam you, if you critique too soft she will slam you. There are better teachers out there, i know, avoid this one imo.
I've taken 6 workshops at UCF & this was the worst. She bogs down students with insane amounts of busywork & demands for critiques, demands which compromise the time students should dedicate to their own writing. She also carries a combative tone in discussion & is unfit to teach for failing to foster a respectful learning environment.
Professor Spraker is not as scary as everyone thinks she is. She is actually really helpful to students who care about writing. Her "tedious" assignments are what made me become a much better close reader. As long as you follow her directions and show you care than you are golden. I love taking Professor Spraker's classes and hope to again
(WWW course) She writes very detailed, helpful notes on your work. I've never received notes with such detail. On the down side, she tends to push you into a box, in terms of style. You learn in this way, but it's frustrating. If she doesn't like your style, it can hurt your grade. I eventually found a happy medium and got an A,but its frustrating
Nice lady. She knows her subject, but she teaches in such a way as to force you to mold into her style, God help you otherwise. When the writing takes a backseat to service learning and reading in a fiction writing workshop, something is broke and needs to be fixed. Very disappointed in overall class experience, will not take Spraker again.
This was a challenging class, but I really learned a lot. There is a great deal of homework and writing along with textbook use. I liked Ms. Spraker, she is witty and knows her stuff. I would take classes from her again.
This is the first time the class has been offered. It is an online class with assignments due twice a week. It is required for the Interdisciplinary Major at UCF. She is willing to help you and if you email her, she will respond to your emails quickly. Did not feel like an online class to me at all. I recommend her to anyone that has to take this!
My class was the 1st time cornerstone was done so the pace shifted midway through, and it got a bit better after that. 2 worst aspects, assignments are not explained well and figuring out your grade is near impossible. I emailed her twice about a grade that wasn't posted with a responce of from her of "don't worry about it". Not a self paced class!
This is the worst experience I have ever had with a teacher. Ms. Spraker's class is difficult bordering on impossible. The assignments are all "busy work". Her instructions are vauge and confusing and her grading is strict and unflexable. Not only this but every assignment or comment from her would be riddled with spelling and grammer errors.
I did not learn anything. It was very difficult to do assignments, due to written instructions being very vague. When emailing about questions, her response is always to review through something. Therefore, I had to go back into every assignment and try to guess why I received the grade I received, instead of her doing her telling me the revisions.
as of 08' cornerstone is mandatory and she's the only teacher. do some serious research on the ids major before committing to it. this class was terrible. blackboard was constantly down, professor was completely vague and assignments were worthless. it is absolutely not self-paced and requires alot of time for an online class
The rating below me is absolutely on point. IDS made me re-examine if this major is a legitimate degree to have. Class is worthless and vague. Plus Blackboard/Webcourses went down during our final. She said it wasn't a good excuse.
probably the worst class i've taken at ucf so far. assignments are all pointless and busy work as previously stated. final project is a joke. i learned nothing, it was the biggest waste of my time ever.
Created and mandated by an insecure department, this class forces students to write dozens of pages of propoganda designed to make IDS look more legitmate. I came to this school BECAUSE of the IDS program and I nearly switched majors TWICE taking this class. Pointless, time-consuming, poorly orgainzed, unprofessional and poorly communicated.
Terrible class, terrible instructor.
Because this class is required Ms. Spraker can get away with poor instructional skills. It is a joke that she is in the English dept; her instructions are unclear and her grammar is horrendous. The busy work is worthless but time consuming. She is a narcissist; she does not want students to get help from each other (!), but must seek her out.
Just awful. Completely pointless.
God bless everyone and anyone that has to take a class with this profesor...Horrific is the only word that can describe her! One has to take this class in order to finish the IDS program so we have no choice....Worst worst professor....If you can afford to be part time when you do this class then do so....The class is full of senseless busy work!
Pray for the poor woman...She is obviously lacking something in her life in which she feels the need to overcompensate for in other places....At the end of the day I feel sorry for her....Let us bow our heads so that she get s life!!!
Ha ha ha.I can not believe that these IDS prof. are being pulled out of the English dept. What a joke. This chica makes me want to pull out my hair from unmentionable places for fun.She must have a torture chamber at home because she loves to torture students.Hates when students get help from other students. Unfortunatley internet class = Spraker
Class is not impossible but goes in way too many directions, very time consuming. Had an A until the ridiculous, unnecessary, pointless, group research project worth 30% of grade. Prepare to be punished for other student's shortcomings. Grades depending on her mood apparently. UCF please find someone else to teach this course!
I am in my 5th year at UCF, about to graduate, and this is by far the worst professor I have ever had in my entire college career. The way she grades in completely unfair. It will take you longer to figure out what she wants u to do for an assignment, than the assignment actually takes! Be prepared for the group project....WORST EVER! PLEASE FIRE
Her expectations were clear up until the group project (worth 30% of your grade). Then it's a guessing game. If you ask her questions she won't give you a straight answer. Good luck in this class. Worst professor I've encountered in my 4 years at UCF.
She is great, funny, and nice. All you petty students who do not have a clue will dig ditches for a living becasue you are not following her advice.
WORST.TEACHER.EVER. totally unhelpful and she acts as if she is above you. You ask her for help and she shuns you. This is a class to make you feel better about the IDS program but she does not do that. If you are enrolled in her class and have time to take with another professor, DROP IT! I would not take a class with her knowing how she is.
Had her for cornerstone and it was a horrible experience and now capstone and it is even worse. What a senseless waste of time and money. Another pointless IDS research project this time with required volunteer work. She is very unpredictable in grading and explains assignments very poorly. One of the worse classes I have taken at UCF. Pathetic.
She is just repeating a curriculum janded over to her.Us e you own imagination Spraker! I can teach this class with my eyes closed. Oh and your paper will no longer be your paper, your ideas longer your. Yeah just do what she says, be a robot and you will be just fine. Can't get creative, certainly not a right brain thinker....Way out on left field!
Ms. Spraker is unable to comprehend difficult subject matter, making it so the student has to dumb down the research and placate her in order to get a good grade. She acts as if conversation is always argumentative, so stay on her good side by just nodding along with her; dissent at the peril of you and your grade.
I honestly don't know why everyone is complaining. I sent many questions over the course and with all of them she was VERY helpful! Yeah, it is a lot of busy work, but it is not hard. I can say though that I do not like having a group project when it is an online class, it is really inconvenient and pointless.
Just horrible, the worst teacher I have ever had the displeasure of having to take. If there is anyway you don?t have to take her, as there is only one other option for IDS, by all means do not take her.
Unprofessional, unexplainably condescending, just a mean spirited teacher, if somehow you get on her good side for goodness sakes hold on to it for all you got and don't be surprised if she snaps on you for no reason, or just never gets back to your email.
I am an older student, and I sat on writing this, as the semester has been over for a while, but I am still reeling from this professor?s utter incompetence. She does not understand how research is truly conducted and gets personal and condescending with you if you ask her to explain anything. And God help you if you ask her to help you within th
To Students past, present, and future complain to the department head. She is a person that is about her ego and not about what this class is suppose to be about. Everyone has said the same thing about her since corner stone, she is a terrible teacher, she needs to go. this cannot happen without students doing official grievances. We pay too much!
Worst class/professor I have ever had. I took this online and it was unbelievably disorganized. She does not respond to emails, takes literally 2 months to post grades, "forgets" to post modules and then changes due dates all the time. Assignments are pointless busywork. Discussion boards were filled with unanswered student questions. Avoid! Awful!
You are required to take the student orientation quiz the first week. You must take it to be able to do the rest of the assignments. You have three shots at it. The grading system had a glitch in it and I ended up failing them. I emailed her the first day and never received a response and I ended up having to drop the course altogether. Avoid.
Just, just horrible. Everything about her class is done wrong. I got an A. I don't know how, there was no way you could even come close to knowing what she was grading on, just bad, so, so bad.
I thought Spraker was alright but the course sucks!! Confusing and hard to find the assignments that need to be turned in. Really bad group project. More work than a 3 cr class. She does ans e-mail pretty quick. Taking Capstn with diff prof and just as confusing. I dont think Spraker designed the course as Cap is just the same. Bullhockey!!
Class is okay. Spraker is helpful if you actually email questions. She's pretty laid back.
Agree with the other recent comments... Spraker helpful, but the class... well... Seriously NOT a class to take to fill credit hours!
SO MUCH work assigned for an online class. 100+ pages to read in a week. Don't take her class if you are enrolled in other classes-this one will require a lot of time and effort. Take someone else if you can.
Currently in the class and it's a ton of busy work. Modules are scattered in different folders on webcourse. Doesn't seem very organized. Leaving a bitter taste in my mouth.
This class is terrible! A ton of busy work that will never benefit you. You will have to do a group online project that is always difficult to organize. This is a waste of a time class that is required so the university can suck more money from you.
HORRIBLE,TERRIBLE,Unbelievably UNHELPFUL. I emailed the entire semester never getting straight answers. Scattered work unclear syllabus super unorganized. Avoid if possible unless you enjoy a challenging course that doesn't help you I had her for Interdisciplinary Studies Cornerstone online. Unfortunately the only teacher that semester. It was bad.
Took forever to answer questions by email or forum post; never clear answers. She basically called me an idiot two of her comments. I had to dumb down my essays to conform to her "guidelines" when she breaks them herself on her own profile. She complained about my intro being cliche and complained about another one being too original.
I cannot stand this course. It is incredibly unorganized and A LOT of work. The first week we had 7 assignments due. None of the assignments are useful. Avoid!!!
The WORST teacher/class I have taken. Tons of meaningless assignments. This class took so much time but I learned nothing. On top of the assignments we had to do 10 hours of volunteer work, plus a group project. Very disorganized. Absolutely frustrating. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS OR THIS TEACHER!
I am only having to take this class because I switched from my major to IDS because I had to. The class is unorganized, confusing and useless. A lot of the students in the class either switched, or have no idea what to major in and took IDS. Step approach to project confuses everyone. Just tell us what the proj is about!
I would tell you to avoid this class and teacher but if you are an IDS major I don't think it's a possibility. I agree with most of the comments...this teacher is awful! The class is so confusing and there are so many pointless assignments. She is a hard grader too and very inconsistent. Most frustrating class ever!
VERY annoying class. Alot of busy work and it is a bit confusing. They are all in these weekly assignment folders. But honestly I email her like once or twice a week for clarity on something and she always answers back by the next day. She is pretty helpful, but the class is just full of work.
Not sure why this class is required, and the most busy class I have ever taken. The book, is useless, the class is confusing and with redundant, assignments.
Not sure why this class is required but it is a busy class I have ever taken. The textbook is useless, and the class has more redundant assignments.
I should've looked here before enrolling in her class! Very highly demanding class, she had us all over the place, busy, stressed and confused. Lots of writing and redundant assignments, fluctuating deadlines and a very elaborate e-portfolio! Students dropped like flies. She was very quick to respond and help, but the work is just too much!
It was not something I would never want to endure again. She did not pay close attention to the unorganized chaos that occurred within the groups. It was endless work with endless stress.
What a waste of my money, and time. Confusing, useless, and demanding. I do not mind hard work, but this class is pointless hard work.
(online) Hard to know what she wants grading wise. There is a lot of busywork and so many little assignments to remember that it's hard to keep track of them. Critiques must be done in a certain way covering only certain topics. Not so much fun...hard to understand what she wants
Totally useless. Very unclear when grading, unhelpful in email, doesn't stick to the schedule, all around useless. Maybe UCF could start hiring useful professors before they start churning out English majors without any semblance of intelligence.
Avoid!! Super unclear instructions, extremely harsh grading, got a B because I worked extremely hard, but tainted my A gpa. if you care about your gpa, take another prof. If your assignmt is 1 minute late, you'll get a 0 guaranteed. Beware!
Avoid! Extremely confusing instructions that were embellished w alot of sunday words. Harsh unfair grading, class is made way harder than what it needs to be. Had to correct her on several occassions about incorrect grading. I got a B but it should've been an A, and this tainted my A+ gpa. I recommend taking this class face to face.
I took this class online and it sucked. She is very unclear and words her assignments in a difficult way. She assigned a group project, which was rather silly for an online class. I had to fight for a B- in the class.
(On-Line) Anytime I had question, I simply sent an email and got responses quickly. Yes,lots of work, but really learned a lot. Weekly video very helpful; Weekly work helps complete the end projects. Due dates are made very clear, assignment tabs easily ID'd; open discussion board all semester for any questions. Will take her again for capstone
I would NOT recommend taking her class. The class itself is useless, and there is A LOT of work that doesnâ??t amount to much. The assignments are very drawn out all of the minute details get lost in translation. I will NOT be taking her for Capstone. I had a 4.0 before her class!!! Seriously, ridiculous to get a B in this class!!!
If u are looking for a cake walk, this is not the class. There is a lot of writing involved in both Cornerstone and Capstone. HOWEVER, compared to other degrees and their Cornerstone-Capstone classes, this class is a lot easier. If u put the effort in, she grades fairly. She is quick to respond to questions-clarify any issues. Typical online class.
Assignment had som many parts it was difficult and confusing. There were so many place to post material. Both Canvas and assinment were confusing and help was minimal. Instructor took a long time to get back to answer questions
Awesome online professor. She is very engaged and helpful. She is ready and willing to answer questions and offer assistance. She does not believe in "make-up" work, so as long as you submit all your assignments on time, you'll be good.
If you take her class you will loathe the next 4 months of your life. NONE of her work is even related to what she is supposed to be teaching- not to mention she never gives clear instructions. Massive amount of tedious, excruciatingly boring work. I would rather sit in the electric chair than to endure this class ever again.
The class is all busy work. I literally did nothing useful. As a working professional, I submitted my resume (that got me my current job) as an assignment, and she ripped it apart. It was good enough to get me a career job but not good enough for her. This class is geared towards high school grads, not adults enrolled in college. I was disappointed
I really liked her. The best online professor I have had. Yeah, she does have a lot of work. But she gives great feedback, and is online all the time. She does grade a little hard, but still fair. Taking her for IDS 3934 in the fall.
A LOT of busy work and assignments that seemed irrelevant: about 3-4 assignments each week, 1 big paper, and an e-Portfolio. Sometimes the requirements were confusing and unclear. The book is basically just a big definition of what "interdisciplinary" means. But, a pretty easy class if you can keep yourself organized and motivated.
If you are not good at keeping up at a fast pace then I do not recommend you take this course. You have a big service project and you have to do videos which I hate because I am not good at that and would hate for others to see me in the videos. A lot of work. I will say this work can be beneficial but it is still too much for one person.
This class was a struggle. I had to focus more time on this class in order to get a passing grade and had to take time away from other classes. You are given numerous assignments EVERY week. Ranging from 2-5 assignments a week. Tough grader. This is a class to take when your other classes are easier or you have good time management and focus.
Assigns a lot of work that had nothing to do with the class. Multiple assignments with a lot of unnecessary steps. Not very clear instructions. Expects a lot since this course is taken in your last semester.
This is my last semester at UCF and this professor is absolutely intolerable. I have never been in a class at UCF where I have received less than a C and currently I'm struggling with a 59. Her grading is incredibly tough and she is not specific in any way. Assignments have endless steps that say nothing. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. STAY AWAY.
This class is very boring. I don't understand anything in the course, but I am currently sitting at a B. I emailed her to let her know that I understood nothing and she said she doesn't read minds and I should come to her. That's the point of an email! Instructions are way too long and the assignments make zero sense. Do not take her.
She has an extremely bad attitude and is just plain rude. The class makes absolutely NO SENSE and if you reach out to her for help she gets an attitude. She said I won't pass. What type of teacher says that to her students? A BAD ONE. Stay away and do not take her if you want to actually learn something.
I can't convey how frustrating this professor is. There's two weeks left in the class and I have learned absolutely nothing. She gives long lectures that have endless typos, repetitive paragraphs and run on sentences that give no clear direction and if you ask her to clarify she is very rude. Her constructive criticism is unclear. Avoid at all cost
She will ruin your last semester at ucf if you take her for capstone. Save yourself and sign up early for a good professor who will be supportive, clear , concise and caring. She is the exact opposite of what an educator should be and obviously doesn't know what auto correct is. I can hardly understand her lectures and gets all her dates confused
I've taken three online classes with professor Jardaneh. Anytime i needed help she was quick to respond to my emails and gave great feedback. Her directions can get a bit confusing at times, but she'll clarify if needed. Her classes were pretty easy and would recommend taking her again.
Her class is set up HORRIBLY. Her modules are confusing, she can't use the English language correctly, and she does not return grades on time. I'm so frustrated at this point that doing basic assignments leave me in tears, and it's only the very beginning of the semester. I hate myself for not dropping this class.
Prof Jardaneh is an absolutely joy to have as an instructor. Of course it is very writing heavy (creative writing class, duh), but Jardaneh gives thoughtful feedback on all papers. She is patient, kind, understand, and compassionate. I have loved having her and hearing her feedback.
Do not take this professor for any class. Her instructions are consistently unclear and she can't spell. She gives so many assignments each week, it's hard to keep track of them. A lot of it is busy work that seems to have no place in a fiction workshop class. She gave detailed feedback, but that was the only plus.
This professor is extremely disorganized, assigns tons of useless busy work, and gives useless feedback. Do not take.
I thoroughly enjoyed her class. From what I saw on here, lot of people had a problem with it, but I didn't understand that after taking the fiction workshop. It was not a very demanding course, she had excellent feedback on the stories, and it was a ton of fun. She even went way above and beyond to be helpful for anyone who asked.
Took Jardaneh's Creative Writing for English Majors. This course was both reading/writing intensive (lots of lecturing notes/videos/writing exercises). Very passionate when it comes to teaching her students about writing. Does not accept late work but gives detailed feedback (so long as "Grade" appears in the top of a submitted document).
Jardaneh is very passionate when it comes to creating her lectures for Creating Writing for English Majors. However, her lectures can be winded at times and gives a lot of busy work. When taking the quizzes the page numbers she listed for the module we were currently in didn't match-up with the material on the quizzes and I got some low scores.
This is my second course with Professor Jardaneh, and it was set up much like her intro to creative writing class. There is a lot of busy work meant to stimulate your imagination & practice the craft, but she gives great feedback and genuinely cares. Would take her again if I could!
Professor is disorganized and doesn't get back to you in a timely manner. Lots of busy work. For someone who doesn't write fiction often, this class was ten times harder. Expects you to be a literary genius. Did not enjoy this class whatsoever. Also developed course as the semester went - no clear syllabus.
