Very good teacher. As long as you do the work, and come to class to learn, you can do very well. Gives u plenty of chance to ask ?s and there are SI tutoring sessions too. Highly recomend this teacher.

Mrs. Kellicut is a great teacher! She may be a little airheaded, but that is what makes her so endearing. She knows her maths and may go a little fast explaining certain concepts, but she is always willing to take the time to re-explain. Kudos!!

I've been to two universities, have a bachelors and a masters, and Kellicut is the best professor I've ever had. Professors don't get any better or more helpful.

Pay attention and ask questions. She will answer them. She is probably the best teacher I have ever had. It takes work but if you show the effort you will be rewarded by her kindness and an excellent grade. You couldn't ask for a better teacher, honest.

GREAT TEACHER!!! she is very helpfull, understanding, if you're not on time she doesn't kill you with her sight...during summer a lot of homework, test are pretty easy. Pay attention during class, ask her questions or answer when she asks a question!

Good professor. She likes to prove things so you know why different things work the way they do. She has a website where you can review the tests from previous years so you know what material will be on the next test you take. Good amount of homework, but it really helps if you keep up with it

Took her class for Liberal Arts 2 over summer B term just for the necessary math credit. As long as the homework and activities in class are done points are available toward your overall grade. You will definately need to do all your homework and activities. Take good notes, and participate in class and you will do just fine on the 5 tests.

This is not a class you can get by with not doing any work. The absolute minimum is to do the homework and actually stydy the practice exams she offers on her website. Make sure you take good notes, participate in class, do all the homework and worksheets and study for the exams. Otherwise you may truly be gambling with your grade.

Mrs. Kellicut is absolutely wonderful. She goes out of her way to assist her students. You will always feel welcome at her office. She is very patient, and she explains things very clearly, often explaining WHY they are the way they are. She also grades kindly, giving partial credit on tests for partially correct work. I highly recommend her!

She is an amazing teacher. Just make sure you do your part, which is studying. When you study make sure you study hard enough. If you do not understand something then go to her office she will be more than happy to help you. Moreover, her explanations are very clear. She knows her math by heart.

Mrs. Kellicut is awesome! She takes a sincere interest in all her students. Trig is not an easy class, though. Expect ALOT of homework. Its the only way to fully understand the material. If you work hard you will pass this class. She will always try to help you any way she can.

Shes wonderful. I took her for Calculus and shes the only reason why I passed. She makes it easy and will work with you for you to understand the material. I took a total of 3 classes iwth her and I would take more. I recommend her to everyone!

If your someone who understands calculus this is an easy teacher but if you have no prior calc experience she goes through the material way too fast and test are extremely hard. Not very clear on what will be on the test and wil often put problems on the test that weren't on the test or she didn't go over; you've been warned

This teacher is really good. She grades very fair, and if you see something that seems to harsh you can bring it to her. I took trig with her, and though the class is difficult, I came away knowing quite a bit. Not sure what I'm going to get for a grade, but I feel she did as good a job as possible. Very available and willing to help.

Awesome professor. She goes over any and all questions you have on homework and even while going over the chapters. Homework quizzes and lab quizzes about once a week but that helped learn and understand the material even better. She cares that her students understand the material and takes her time. I wish all professors were like her!

One of the best math teachers I've had! Very helpful. Goes over work at the beginning of each class. Gives you time to review in groups at the end of some classes. Her door is always open if you need extra help. As any math class, it goes a bit fast so you need to know the material but again, she will help you. High Recommend!

She is open to questions at any time during the class period and she also has a lot of office hours availible for extra help. she really cares for her students and she will make sure everyone with a question is tended to. Her class requires that you do the homework, and although its a lot of work, she prepares you well.

Really great teacher! You HAVE to do your hw though bc it's a huge part of your grade. It prepares you for the tests anyway. She gives you an opportunity to ask questions about the hw at the beginning of every class, she is very organized, she hands out answer keys w/the problems worked-out for you when she hands you back your tests.

Ms. Kellicut is a wonderful math teacher. She is very warm and friendly. She moves very fast, however, so make sure to pay attention and attend class. Her exams are a tad difficult and she will make you work for your grade. But you will thank her for mashing those trig identities into your head when you get to Calculus. =)

A great teacher.I thought the claas would be really tough, as she gives ALOT of homework. But really, as long as you pay attention in class, she goes over everything that appears on the tests.She gives answer keys with all her tests, and they are a great aid. The book is excellent, and its very clear. Take her.

Huge disappointment -- even for a class for non-math majors. Not many notes at all. Most of the class time is spent on worksheets; while they do adhere to the lessons, they take up so much time. She lectures maybe for 20 min. Basically, you're teaching yourself.

Mrs. K was an okay teacher. Like the person below said, you spend most of the class time in groups working out problems.She teaches for LESS than 20 min. Overall she is a good teacher, although she is assertive and sort of forces you to get what she is saying so she can move on. Idk if I'd recommend.

Helpful tips: Attend every class, turn in every notebook, write down all group work, get tutoring. Not the easiest professor to take if math isn't your strong suite but I ended up liking her by the end of the semester. She spells everything out very well, adheres to the syllabus and you are aware of your grade at all times.

Forgot to mention, the practice tests she posts on her website mirror her tests. If you complete those, you'll do great on the exam.

Yes, she moves at a fast pace. But guess what? Trigonometry has a ton of material in it. If you can't keep up, it's usually because you didn't learn your algebra the first time around, don't do your homework, or a number of other excuses. Professor Kellicut knows how to teach and knows what she is doing. Take her.

Best math teacher I've ever had. Also the most difficult course I've ever taken. I am an 'A' student & leaving with a high B after many long nights of studying. The material is complex, but you will leave this class with a deep understanding of it. Study her practice tests. Do extra homework problems. If you are heading to Calc, take her!!

She is a wonderful person and teacher as a whole. Do not listen to anyone else on here. The homework is exactly like her tests! She lets you replace the lowest test with your final exam grade! And she gives you a study guide that is exactly like the exam, just different numbers! Trust me! EASY A!

Liberal Arts Math. Great class, whether you like math or not. She recognizes that some of the students in this class aren't great at math, and spends plenty of time explaining people's questions about the HW. 2 writing assignments, not difficult. Read the curious case of the dog in the nighttime. It's good. She loves Wisconsin teams.

Set aside enough hours each week to keep up with the class, do homework before coming to class, make sure you understand whats going on and you will definitely get an A.

As long as you pay attention during lectures and do the assigned homeworks you should be just fine! Kellicut gives regular homework quizzes and they're super easy! Plus for tests, she gives you plenty of study aids to prepare! Love her!
