Prof. Lueders is great! She reminds me a bit of the mom from the Brady Bunch. She gave extra credit in both principles classes...ended up with over a 100 in 101...Definitely take her!

Leuders knows her stuff-man is she smart. But, make sure you're not sleepy when you go to class, because everyday she uses Powerpoint and dims the lights. If you're confused, she gives great explanations, so don't hesitate to ask.

She makes the class challenging without going over the line or making it boring. Applies real world situations as much as possible. Extremely intelligent, but has a good sense of humor. Not too much work, but enough to cover the material. Outstanding!

She is a grerat teacher, no doubt. The concepts are sort of boring, but she makes it as good as it gets. She is easy to talk to and doesn't take things too seriously. A GREAT teacher.

Weekly HW assigned, but its easy. Exams are similar to HW, No Tricks on exam. As long as you UNDERSTAND the HW you'll get a good grade. 1 Excel project, which the only work you have to do is plug formulas, which she provides, into Excel worksheet. Laid back prof. & Easy course

She was easy. Just go to 90% of classes and look over her notes she gives u. Study like 2 hours aday for the last 4-5 days before the midterm and final and u will be fine. Just listen and do the homework and you will get an A.

She's a great professor at depaul. Very informative and you can tell that she knows the material. Willing to help, just do your work and listen to the lectures. Very nice lady, she tries to use real world examples which makes acc more interesting. DEFINATELY RECOMMENDED

Lueders is a great prof who's always smiling in class. She always ties to call on everyone to make sure they are getting the material. She is very clear and easy to understand. If you listen in class and do the homework, which she doesn't check in this class, you will do well. Highly recommend!

Lueders is quite clear and helpful, but that is not to say her class is not challenging or difficult. Even though she tries to make sure everyone understands the material, you must read a lot and keep up with the homework to do well.

Lueders is a great teacher, helped me a lot. The class however requires more work than you'd suspect for only two credits. If you don't have time to quickly learn time value and statistics, take BMS 142 and FIN310 before ACC202, because then ACC202 will be a review class.

If you go to class you should get a B or C. Weekly homework assignments took less than an hour to do. Book goes along with the subject matter and she posts notes on blackboard too. Examples used also correspond with what is on the web. Midterm is a lot harder than the final. I just wish this was a four hour class.

One of the best professors I've ever heard. She's an extremely intelligent and someone to look up too. The classes are not easy at all, you have to put some effort into it but it's worth it. She gives you a glimpse of what a real world business eenvironment looks like

Great Professor! She gives handouts/notes for each chapter. Explains materials very well. The class is organized and professional. Weekly take-home quizzes, group projects, midterm, and final.

I didnt particularly care for her class, as it was pretty boring. It came rather easy to me, as a finance and accounting double major, therefore I have nothing to complain about. Overall I would give her a B+/A-.

Take her. She is the best. Her tests are kind of hard, but the class overall is not bad.

what are people talking about work ethics, if you have any work ethic and you can't pass accy 102 maybe you shouldn't be in college, her classes explain what you need to know, she can't simply pass people who are unfit for college.

shes cool, just study her notes and you'll do fine. The curve in the class along should give you AT LEAST a B even if you just glance over her notes because there will be alot of ppl like the ones who complained on here who will not study and do bad (thinking they should get As)

Great Professor! She explains the material very clearly! Her exams are based on the homework assignments and class lectures. She is also very professional and organized. Very highly recommended.

I found her class to be quite interesting, although a lot of my classmates disagreed. She is very thorough in her notes and pretty much spells out to you what will be on the midterm and final. Obsessed with eduspace and iclickers, but they are very helpful.

awesome class! the class was 5 weeks long and although each class was 3 hrs, she explained everything clearly! she gave study guides for the exams, but her study guides were much harder than the tests...i like the fact that she makes finals much easier than the mid-terms

This class was hard. I was confused most of the time during lectures. And the textbook was not that helpful at all. However, with little effort I did get an A in the class.

Class is very fast paced. Midterm was easier than Finals but dont know why she say the final was easier. She goes through the material fast and usually leave early. I saw the class avg for finals was 75-85 and I dont know how the previous comment got a A. Prepare to do alot of math which it is hard at all. Short answer questions. MC. Few problems

Knows a lot about accounting, has high expectations of what you know, too. Moves fast, but likes to do examples on the board. Likes using the iClicker; expect to be called on to answer questions. Tries making things as easy as possible. Very open to questions. Good teacher, but her class takes some effort.

Lueders tries her best to help all students do well. Quizzes are online so is homework. She tries to make things as easy and clear as possible. Great teacher for such a hard subject!

very nice, quizes and hw are easy most are online and are multiple attempts and you get full credit for getting 75% correct. final was non cumulative and our SI teacher ZOE was the best. she curves the tests and is very very fair no surprises on the final surprisingly and she basically tells you what will be on the mid and final. take her!

I loved the class, hated the subject. If you like accounting, then take Lueders, she is really nice. Plus all the homework and quizzes are online, so all you do in class is listen to her lecture. Make sure you always bring in your iClicker. Other than that, she's nice. If you don't like numbers DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!

Class went slowly, but everything was understandable. She did a good job going over everything. Online homework and quizzes help boost your grade. Toughest part of the class were the exams which should be easily passed. I struggled in 101, but 102 seemed a lot easier because of this professor.

Lueders is a great teacher. She is very helpful, but she assigns a lot of online homework which you have multiple attempts so it's fairly simple. Definately one of the better accounting teachers.

Lueders is an awesome prof! She def knows her stuff. She explains everything clearly and all her quizzes were take home except the first one. She has DETAILED study guides before each exam which is super helpful and shes happy to help whenever u need her. DEF RECOMMENDED!

She is very good at teaching accounting, she uses real life experience to apply concepts so you know why the hell you just entered an ACC 102 class. Her exams are tough so I recommend getting together with who ever is in your class and having a pow wow over your notes after class

First quiz was in class after that all was take home. She explained stuff in class very well. Now the bad: You will have to participate, can't sit there doing nothing. The midterm and final is tough. Study hard on those or as a poster said, get with a group like I did.

Weekly quizzes, all take home except the first one. Showing up to class counts as participation, otherwise I only talked when called on, still got an A. Tests are hard, but she gives detailed really helpful study guides. Keeps class interesting with her real experience and stories. Definitely take her!

Susan Lueders is a really good accounting professor. She is great at teaching it and fully describes why and how she does each step. Very helpful outside of class and easy to talk to. She is awesome. I would take her for all my accounting classes to come!

I thought she was an alright teacher. A lot of people liked her but she seemed unorganized, especially when she writes on the board which sometimes is confusing. This class sounds like it was a lot easier than Tower. I would recommend the class for the fact that she tells you exactly what is on the midterm and final, which makes studying easier.

This class is really tough. She is a very smart lady and does a great job teaching the material. She does have high expectations and assigns a lot of homework. I would recommend getting in a group to do it and also study.

Wasn't too bad of a class. I would take her again. We were behind so she cut out 4 chapters, so that might not work in my favor in the future. But, overall, she taught pretty well and I ended up with a high grade in the class.

As a student apart of the Strobel Honors program and someone who had no prior accounting education in high school I can honestly say that Prof Lueders saved me from dropping accounting as my major! She is willing to go slow and help students. TAKE!!!

Great teacher. Weekly Quizzes. I liked them b/c they kept me on track. Looking back the Midterm and Final, they were very fair. She gives you a study guide that covers it and sometimes hints off a question or two. Sounded easier than Towers b/c they had to do some kind of 4 page page versus our 10 question-answer(ended up being 2 pgs)paper. TAKE!!

Hated accounting after 101. Still hate it. So from someone who hates accounting, I highly recommend taking this professor. She makes the subject as clear as possible. Class is midterm, final, and 6 take home quizzes. Midterm and final are straight off the quizzes and she gives a detailed study guide. So study and an A is a real possibility.

I was really bad at Accounting 101 and was terrified of having to take another class after a summer has past. Prof Lueders completely changed my mind. She is a great teacher that explains everything in clear detail and is very helpful if there is something unclear. Definitely would suggest her, she really does care about the students.

Very sharp and experienced, probably won't find a smarter accounting professor. It was difficult to keep up with her during class, I had to hire a tutor to reteach me. You really need to work hard in her class or you will fail the exams. Take only if you grasp accounting well. Nice lady though.

Overall Luders is a good teacher, she cares about you knowing the "big picture" as well as the working parts. I think she is a giving grader if you do the work. I think the key here is to STUDY! I would take her again but this time I would study more.

Professor is very helpful in class and office hours just ask for help! she is straight forward with her requirements. she DOES NOT curve final grades so try hard. If something is unclear just ask and she'll explain it again. If you have another professor, drop them and take her!

She can come off kind of strict, but the hour-and-a-half goes by like a breeze. If you're not a bum, I would suggest taking her, as she expects a decent amount from you. You WILL learn. I would take her again, too.

Lueders is a very nice lady. She honestly gave off the feel like she could be an intelligent aunt. Introductory accounting classes are difficult by nature. If you're looking for a blow off teacher in accounting you're not going to find one but Professor Lueders is the next best thing. She is so entirely organized and the workload was consistent.

She was by far the BEST professor in all of accounting. Clearly, I thought so because I took her for both 102 & 308. I HIGHLY recommend her. Accounting is a difficult subject so none of the professors are going to be really easy, but not only does she make great & organized lecture notes but the tests are not too bad either if you study well.

If DePaul had a few more good professors like Lueders, then maybe it would be worth the tuition. She honestly taught the class very well, class time passes fast which is very unusual for any class, especially accounting. She teaches everything that is on the exam and tells you exactly what u need to know. Most students did surprisingly well!

We had many online quizzes, take-home stuff, but the midterm and final were really difficult-As long as you print her class notes and study thoroughly you'll be fine

Ms. Lueders really knows what she's doing. She always answers questions and repeats things if necessary, and is always available through email. It's a tough class, but if you pay attention, she will help a lot.

Listen to the lectures and do the homework. You will never need to read the book and you'll barely need to study for the tests. The assignments build on each other and they explain things SOOOO CLEARLY. They explain it so well that you will easily retain the information over time. She is smart and very helpful.

Professor Lueders tells you EXACTLY what is on the exams. Keep up with the material and you will end up with a good grade. There are also plenty of extra credit opportunities. I highly recommend her, especially if you plan on majoring in accounting.

A very inspirational teacher. She is very clear and organized and clearly knows what she is talking about. The final and midterm were quite easy because she gave you all the needed information and makes sure you know it because she will randomly call on you in class. Helpful assignments with looking at 10k's and uses cengage.

Excellent professor. Explains material clearly and is always available for office hours if you need them. Anyone willing to put in the study time and the effort will pass with at least a B. She prepares you for the midterm/final and asks questions similar to the assigned homework and quizzes. She makes a tough subject as easy as possible.

She's absolutely amazing. Really nice and always willing to help. The class is just hard. Study multiple choice on the review guides and don't fall behind. ACC 308 is way harder than any other financial reporting course, however Dr. Lueders is a good professor and makes it bearable.

Prof Lueders is the best business teacher I have had at DePaul. She is extremely organized and focuses on the material that you'll actually be tested on. She presents material in a very understandable way and gives homework and projects that do actually help. I would recommend this Prof if you are willing to put in some effort, an A is achievable.

Professor Lueders is a phenomenal professor at DePaul. She has such a huge amount of experience working in her field and she's extremely good at relaying accounting concepts and principles that aren't easy. Her homework assignments are easy if you pay attention in class and read the book. Tests are based off of homework and quizzes. Take her!

I thought Professor Lueders was really great! She brings real world examples into class and puts lots of time and effort into the course. Although the class was more challenging than ACC101-H, I didn't find it to be overwhelmingly difficult. There are a fair amount of assignments, but they are all helpful and important for the exams.

Really cares & puts a lot of effort into her lectures. I personally thought 102H was easier than ACC101H (Midterm and Final were *very* easy.) Not much to do outside of class. 40% - Midterm, 40% Final, 20% - mix of participation, simple online quizzes, and take-home assignments. Relates to useful, real-world examples in lectures. Even Extra Credit!

She was a very lovely person. She always gave real-life examples and was very accessible. I don't know if it was her teaching style that threw me off or if it was the actual concepts that we were learning. I usually just zoned out most of the class and spent time before the midterm and final to teach everything to myself.

Dr. Lueders is a fantastic professor. She really cares about her students. She works hard to get everyone in loved in the lectures. Midterm and Final are super easy. All you have to do is go over the take home problems and they are exactly the same on the exams. Definitely would take another one of her classes.

308 is just a tough class that could be expanded into two quarters, but Mrs. Lueders really makes it bearable and helps you get through it.

BEST ACCOUNTING PROFFESSOR EVER !!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY YOU NEED TO TAKE HER!!! YOU WILL PAST EVEN IF YOURE NOT MAJORING IN ACCOUNTING. However, you do need to pay attention and study hard.

Hands out all the in-class notes, so no textbook required. Easily reachable outside of class and has a lot of homework that correlates to the exam. As long as you study the notes and the homework, there is no way you can't get anything below a B. Con is no laptop or tablet when taking notes.

I rarely write reviews halfway through a semester but I have never felt more prepared for an exam at my whole time studying accounting at DePaul. She is awesome, she hands everything out, tells you what exactly to study for the exams and when you get there it's long, but you know how to approach every problem. Definitely the best accounting prof.

There is a lot of material but she tells you what will be on the exam. The assignments were helpful and provides a study guide. Midterm was easier, final - focused on govt accounting which I felt was covered very very quick. Overall, it was a very good class compared to other ACC classes.

Honestly this was one of the hardest classes I've ever taken. Attendance is not mandatory but you will fail if you dont show up. 2 exams make up 80% of class and remaining 20% is homework and assignments. She does curve the exams and offers extra credit. I rated highly because she truly is one of those caring type teachers and will help you succeed

Lectures are extremely thorough and well-explained you will definitely learn the material. Homework assignments and comprehensive assignments and then a midterm and final. Assignments are difficult but not impossible, exams were really long and difficult but her study guides tell you everything you need to study and gives you exactly what to expect

Class consisted of 7 Comprehensive Assignments/Mult. Choice HW worth 20% of grade. Midterm/Final worth 40% each. This is definitely an advanced course and not an easy A, but Professor Lueders has excellent lecture videos that cover all the material. She did offer an optional cumulative final worth 80%. My advise is to start off strong!

As a returning student to DePaul after 20 years finishing up an accounting degree, I must say Professor Lueders is awesome!! She gives the right amount of homework coupled with the videos that build on top of each other. Also, I really appreciated her office hours on Tuesdays to tighten up on any questions. Definitely a fan. Take her!!

She is a very sweet professor. The material... not so much. It helps learning it in person because you can't do this online. It's not her teaching that's the issue but what we learn, so I don't blame her for trying hard to make sure we get the material. She is very considerate though. Connect HW, Comprehensive HW, MT and final.

An angel for a professor. You need to attend class to pass this class, good note-taking is vital. She had notes ready if you missed. 2nd half of the class felt a little rushed, but she offered extra credit. HW online.8 assignments, if you took good notes easy A and are a big part of exams. Gave big curves on exams. Put in the work you'll be fine.

Professor Lueders makes the difficult material coherent. Attendance is a must, but with good notes and using unstuck ai for practice, you can get an A despite the challenging exams.
