Pretty easy but i wouldnt recommend a 3-hour evening class to anyone. No tests and no work turned in until midterms. Pretty simple.

Excellent teacher. If you can write creatively, coherently and do the notebook you will get a deserving grade. She is very helpful with feedback if you're involved in the class.

Had her for women studies and she was great. The work was easy, no test, good attendence policy, no quizzes, only notes on books and films, one project and a pofilio at the end that is worth about 75% of your grade. Easiest A I got.

I took this class in the summer. Very easy.. Gave the test q's to us a week in advance. Watched a lot of movies. Easy...

I really don't know what people are complaining about. She is one of my favourite professors. She made everything in the class interesting and relevant to real life and, most importantly, had fun with it. I worked for that A but I DID get it.

It's ridiculous to me that any of you would commment on her sexual orientation in reference to her teaching ability.Honestly, I didn't read the material, all I did was show up and participate, and I still got an a.

Dr. Morris is a nice lady and helps you out if you need it at her office. Tougher class (got a C)but I actually learned stuff.Very smart too.

This prof was great...She is not a man hater, I had her and I got an A in the class. You respect her and she will respect you. I suggest if you want to learn the subject you take her, she is easy, but you will learn your stuff.

I see many people saying that if you're a guy you're going to fail. That's simply not ture. I am a guy and did the work that I needed to do and I got an A. You do not need to be a female to get an A in this class but you do need to be able to think and write.

She is a wonderful woman and an amazing teacher. A "guy" friend of mine took the class with me and he got an A- he barley understood any of it, and she helped him. You people are just stereo-typing her of prejudices based on ignorance! I hope she never quits and continues to teach so wonderfuly.

It is perhaps more telling about the merit of this professor to read the bad comments about her than the good. Those who are complaining are complaining because they failed to accomplish the objectives of the course. Whoever blames their professor for their own failure is doomed to fail in life too.

I don't understand why people are saying she sucks. She has been nothing but hilarious,brilliant,and a great teacher. I have never seen her be rude or mean to anyone in my class.She is an awesome teacher, very laid back and so knowledgable about the subject.I highly recommend her.

I love her, she is hilarious and makes class fun. Bit of a hard grader,but will help you if needed. I recommend her!

She's funny. Very interesting. The key is to talk to her and BE NICE. If she thinks you care about the class she gives you more credit. You can't fail her class.The lowest she gives is a D. Just have to read the books. If you understand the material and ask questions it's an easy class.

Best teacher I have had. The tests can be tough if you are a moron or don't read the book, so if you fail the class it's your own damn fault. She was always willing to talk and set aside time to help. And to dispel some BS rumors, she isn't **** in her grading.

She's one of the best teachers I've had at Ferris. She's very funny and is clearly interested in what she's teaching. The tests were a little hard, but read the book and listen in class and you'll know what you need. I wish I had more classes with her.

American Movies is easy. Not much course work, and not hard tests. The tests are given to you in advance so you can look it over and remember what you're going to write on the test. I waited until SUnday to do ALL my journals and they were due on MOnday. I ended up with a B in the class. Easy, and she is interesting, and funny.

Great teacher. Informative and interesting class. Fun movies and assignments, but also some work required. Class highly reccommended.

Wonderful class, amazing teacher, learned so much about social construction of idenity. This class exposes you to a different way of thinking that most people have never encountered. Our society keeps us away from these ideas. Take her class, keep an open mind. After all, if you do not agree with her, you leave the class with your ideas.

I really enjoyed this professor. She was pretty funny. I didn't like however that she wouldn't let me tape record her class when I had to be absent for surgery. Someone else's notes were NOT going to give me everything that listening to her myself could have. She should have been better about that. It was mean! I did good though.

Dr. Morris is enlightening and is able to present difficult material with interest and humor. She is always willing to assist us when we feel lost or just stuck. Encourages us to acutally reflect on the material and struggle to think and grow.

I found this teacher to be absolutly amazing. Yeah I wasn't quite sure what was required on the test, but if you showed up in class then you should have been alright. She keeps things interesting and I personally liked her sense of humor though it is a toss up if you will or not. Have an open mind and you will love this class and professor.

This professor was able to present the material in a less structured way. She gave many examples and pulled ideas from the students during lecture. It was important to read the assigned material and take notes during class because the exams were short essays based on this info. If you can clearly explain your notes and ideas you will do fine.

Hands down best professor I've had at Ferris. I've heard that her personality doesn't translate well to online courses, so get her in person if you can...especially for Eastern World Religions.

The class is mainly watching movies - some lecture. Essay exams and two papers. Can pick what you want to write about. Pretty easy class. Would take again. Like the teacher.

Very interesting course. Gained a lot of insight into the world of Western Religions. Professor expects you to learn and understand the concepts, while facilitating in class discussion. Leaves personal view points out of it, look at the religions objectively.

I've really enjoyed having Professor Morris. To clarify, in my opinion she doesn't lack objectivity at all. She tells it how it is, and won't cater to all of the Christians in the group. She tells the truth regarding the religions, and will say the good and the bad.

I took Eastern Religions. Very interesting, & though the material can be pretty out-there, she does a good job of making sure that you grasp the hard facts. Tests are the only grades but you know the questions ahead of time & actually get to choose which questions you want to write about. This class is not hard if you're an open-minded individual.

Only graded based off of 3 exams and 2 small hw assignments. For the exams, you only have to pick 3 out of several possible essay questions and she gives you about a week to complete each exam. I got an 100% on homework, and a C on the first test, and then an A on the next 2 tests and passed with an A. Easy humanities credit.
