this teacher is extreamly easy i don't know what all of you are complaining about i never tried one time in the class and her contract is different but not hard to follow for 16 weeks.i'm thinking everyone on here is just a moron because she's the easiest

She was very clear on her ways and as long as u did all of the assignment you automatically recieved a B

I got a B in this class even though I didn't follow this ridiculous contract she offers.She only allows like 2 absenties. If you wanna go back to grade school, take her! She teaches students like were five. Other than that she's okay...

I loved Dr.Sue! she was so nice and very clear! Only one of my teachers to ever give up her personal time to have one on one meetings with me. Easy if you did the work and didnt slack off. Sounds like everyone on here is looking for the easy way out hey guys welcome to college!

I took this class online. She had a grading contract, but it was an alternative way to GUARANTEE a B. You were still able to get a B or A if you did not fulfill the contract-by doing well on the final. Great professor, really helped my writing. Class was a bit challenging, but fun and rewarding.

conferences are somewhat helpful. She tells u whats wrong but does not give advice on how to fix it. She lets u drop 2 of 5 papers, like 10 of 15 one page summarys/journals. So she is very easy. People need to stop ****ing and do the work. Afterall you are in college so stop acting like ur 2 and u wont be treated like ur 2.

I was a bit skeptical when the class first started. Somewhat intimidating. Turned out to be the best class taken. We're in college folks, classes are supposed to be challenging.

I felt that sue was very helpful, though opinionated, but so am I so I could understand where she was coming from. I think she knows her stuff in reference to English. She does writing reflection which really helped me focus on what I needed to improve upon. Good Overall Class!

likes things her way however she is very helpful... willing to meet with students whenever. grade is based off the final portfolio which allows you all semester to fix papers which i really liked. hard class if you dont keep up with the work!

I really enjoyed this class although at times it was challenging. She knows her stuff and will help you if you need it. I learned alor about different writing styles, and she gave me confidence in my writing ability.

She was a very nice, helpful teacher. She forces you to participate alot and critique other peoples work but as long as you participate and try you get a good grade and become a better writer.

She epled me to love to write. She pushes you to do your best and gets you to think out side the box. Do nottake if you are lazy, she does make you work for your 4 credits. However the amount of work is consistant with the credit level of the class. I loved this class because shes a great instructor.

I thought Professor Richardson was very helpful and easy to understand. She stood by her willingness to help students pass her class.

Best professor to take online class.

Dr. Sue, Was an extremely fair instructor. She has high expectations of students and requires students keep current with all posts. She offers you the opportunity to continually improve your essays up to the final portfolio. If you want to learn she is the one for you !

Dr Richardson was extremely helpful. I was anxious since writing is not my forte but she made it very easy to be successful. She gave clear feedback and helpful advise for improving every paper.

If you are a student who does not like to participate, this class is not for you. Dr. Richardson is a tough grader in that she expects the best out of you and will tell you if you have not written to the standard that which you are capable of. She goes out of her way to help her students to succeed. I would highly recommend her to any student.

This class is entirely centered around the environment which was made clear in the Macomb description of the course. While I do not typically have much interest in the environment I am far more aware of it after this class. This is a class for those who are willing to work, slackers will not do well. She expects your best. Would recommend her class

Yes there is a lot of work to be done, especially online as it's supposed to be a longer course. She's a tough grader but helpful and gives good feedback. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in class. If you have decent writing skills and can deal with a heavier workload its great. I took this with a full schedule and did well.

I really enjoyed my time in her engl1180 class. I personally didn't think the work load was crazy. five essays are assigned through to the semester and she gives you plenty of time for each one.

Everyone says they dont like her or her class and i'm not sure why! she gives you the syllabus with a layout of exactly what you are doing every class, she assigns 5 total essays and gives enough time to complete them. your grade is determined by your final portfolio as long as you meet her criteria for the portfolio she guarantees you a B!

She scares me on day one but soon after she was my favorite teacher. There are lots of essays but she does not grade any until the end of the semester when she grades your final. She gives one on one with every student in what she calls "conferences" I am glad I didn't drop her class. She made me work harder for her because I wanted to impress her.

If you are not afraid to work for your learning, this class is for you. She created a tight knit student setting compared to none. It's a 4 credit class, expect to write. She has a plan that even if you aren't the best student, as long as you do the work, you can still get a B. By far one of my best learning experiences!!

Great professor. Class is relatively easy. You write about 5 essays throughout the semester and choose your best 3 for your final portfolio. At midterm myself and Professor did not think I would pass the class because of my attendance & missing a paper. However showing up and really taking feedback fixed it. She gives great feedback on every essay!

I dislike Richardson in the beginning because of the workload, but I guarantee if you work hard, she will reward you. You attend her class to learn how to write like a professional, not skip and do little to no work. We could use more professors like her!

This class scared me at first, but if you put in the hours, work, and show improvement, she will most certainly reward you. She gives great advice and challenges students. I learned so much from her class!

Professor Richardson gives you clear criteria to receive a B in the class. You have to participate in the forum 4-5 times a week, turn in your papers, and peer edit. If you go above and beyond in your editing, she will give you an A. She gives really helpful feedback to improve your papers. Overall really easy as long as you put in the work.

I'm genuinely shocked to find out that Dr. Sue has such a low rating on this website. It is not deserved. There is a lot of work and effort that you'll need to put forth in order to pass her class, but that hard work WILL NOT go unnoticed by her. She cares a great deal about writing and knows how to help her students improve their writing pieces.

Dr. Richardson made my college English experience go way better than I had expected. I had taken two semesters of her class one online and one on campus. As long as you put in the expected work and make improvements, you should be good to qualify for her B contract. I earned an A in her classes by becoming a team captain and qualifying for the B.
