her 1st year psych. class was easy. She made it interesting and funny. I never laffed so hard than when i heard the stories about her cats. LOL. GREAT PROF!

She seems really nice, and made it easy to understand but she kind of think she's funnier than she is... and bringing her problems to class isn't really cool. But she's a great prof!

Good teacher. She keeps me focused and awake... but she really should't bring all her problems and stuff to class. Also got a tiny bit boring near the end of the semester

A fairly good professor. She seems to bring too much personal stuff to class though, and makes inappropriate jokes about conditions that don't effect her, while making those that do seem more important than they are.

I purposely took the Spring class of Psych 3001 because Susan was teaching it! She is the best professor I have had thus far. A 2.5 hour class goes by quickly with her.

If there is a finer professor in CANADA I would like to meet them. Susan Sajna-Hebert defines the care, concern and intellectual clarity that one should come to expect from all Prof's (But is sadly lacking, so often. Take any course she is teaching!

What an amazing prof! Not only will she explain everything, she also provides real-to-life examples, answers your questions, and puts a real, honest effort into what she does! Take one of her classes if you can, you won't regret it! I've taken 2 so far

Susan was very helpful and easy going. Her examples made it easier to learn and understand the concepts. I highly reccomend her classes to anyone.

Susan is a great Prof, but her tests are annoying. She really likes to focus on which answer is MOST right. Doesn't quite seem entirely fair, but at the same time she does do a good job in trying to prepare you. Be wary of her test questions,that's all

Good teacher, uses case studies to make abstract info applicable. Moves at decent pace, likes questions, interesting teaching style. Very approachable. Warning: You need to know class material backwards and forwards for exams!

susan is a great prof. she makes pschology interesting. a friend of mine was a history major and took this class and ended up being a psych major! she knows her stuff. exams are hard, but rewarding to get a good mark after studying so hard for them.

She is the best professor I've had. Her exams are tough but if you attend & listen in class you can do very well. I got 96% on the last exam, up from 72% on the first. I love the way she outlines the % of the test that will be from text and lecture.

Talks too much about her own life, snaps at students for getting bored and talking. Overheads are difficult to follow, exams are hard. Blames students and the class' conversation for bad grades ("worst in 13 years!")

She was an amazing prof. She understands that note taking and listening is hard to do at the same time. She is very easy to understand. I am taking abnormal psych because she is teaching it.

She is REALLY nice, but she won't spoon-feed you, or take any crap from anyone being stupid or talking in the class. She is really funny, and she really knows her stuff. There's no way around her tests unless you know your stuff, though.

She is an awesome teacher, makes class worth going to, gives good examples, and has helpful ways of remembering things that are difficult, and ahe even watches kink!

Ever feel like the proff is only speaking to 3 or 4 students in the room? When in this case it's true. She will pick 3-4 sutdents that she will like, and ignore the rest. I sat through a class where she only made eye contact with one person for the whole hour and a half! I felt like leaving!

Good or bad the responses to this prof are always rather intense. I personally enjoyed her class thoroughly, very structured and informative. She always has witty anecdotes and is very sweet and helpful. Even if you just see her around she is always smiling.

She lectures quite well (due in very large part to her charisma), but seems suitable only for lower-level/intro courses. If you are more intelligent than the majority of the valey-girls who take psychology, I would advise taking courses of interest with senior professors instead. Lacks a PhD.

Susan is one of the most helpful profs in the university and her students shouldn't be jealous because she is smart, good-looking and has a great sense of humour. Just deal with it and rate her fairly and don't knock her out of spite.

Amazing lecturer, very good notes and helpfulness. Tests are hard but her clarity and great notes make up for it. Unlike most profs, she actually tells the people who go to class what they have to read for the tests instead of giving you 100 pages to try and remember. Exam reviews were always helpful, don't miss her class, you'll be disapointed

Susuan SH has been more than a professor to me. I've sent her emails, shared laughs with her, talked to her for half an hour after class. She truly cares and is interested in her students. She makes class something I look forward to and I've never missed a class. She's an awesome person all around, never mind professor. Take her classes!!

Although this class was the easiest I took (I got 101%), SSH is a dry and boring prof who spends far too much time repeating the simplest aspects of her lectures for those who don't pay attention. She gives good notes, but focuses too much on memorization and not nearly enough on comprehension. Take this class for an easy credit!

Really hard exams! But then again they were all multiple choice and I'm horrible at multiple choice. Good teacher explained things well, but a little to crazy for me.

One of the best teachers i've had! She always had a personal story to make a concept easier to understand, and hinted towards what would be on the exam with a detailed outline. Funny, fun, and interesting, i never missed a class.

I took abnormal psych with her and hse is amazing!!! There are 4 multiple choice tests throughout the year and you have to study for them and attend class becuase she adds alot to her lectures that are not in the text. Her lectures are soooo interesting you will want to go to class! I recommend that anyone who can take a class with her to do so!

This was an awesome class she really knows what she is doing. The lectures are really interesting and makes the classes really fly by. Pay attention and take notes in class and you can fail. She was so helpful and gave a breakdown of each exam. This was one of my best classes ever.

Her exam is truely I.Q. test. She elimiates a lot of contexts and break down to what will be on the exam, but you will be desappoined and shot with your mark

Susan is the best professor I've ever encountered. Everytime I attend her class I am reminded of why psychology is my major. She makes lectures fun and entertaining with her personal stories, and tries to initiate class discussions. She is VERY helpful and understanding. I had her for Intro to Psych and if you attend class to fill in the notes, keep up with the reading, and review them before her exams, you'll be fine! Also, take part in the surveys for the mark boost, it definitely helps out if you did poorly on any of the exams. She uses a lot of examples to help you remember the material. Great class!

Excellent class. Sit at the front, pay attention to her tips and study hard and you'll get an A. Take advantage of the bonus marks for sure. Fun class! Also took her Abnormal Psych class which was very similar material but with a more specified topic. Recommend taking both with her if possible.

Always looked forward to going to her class! She's so fun and outgoing! She explained concepts with fun examples which helped me to remember what I learned. One of the best prof.'s I've had in 6 years of post-secondary. Very easy going, helpful, laid back, knows here stuff very well. Also, she has a knack for making the dry material interesting.

Best prof I have had. She made the material interesting. Notes were emailed to us and had blanks in them. You came to class and filled in the blanks - made taking notes easy. She was very specific in what material to read from the text book - down to the paragraph that she would test you on. Test were M/C and you had to know the material.

She has easily become my favourite prof out of all of the classes that I've taken so far. She is very accessible and willing to help her students, she makes note-taking easy, and gives you all of the materials that you need to succeed well ahead of time. The Psychology department is blessed to have her.

Her lectures are very enjoyable. She speaks clearly, and with passion. Her notes are easy to understand, and provide many examples. The textbook isn't necessary, which is an added bonus. Susan is amazing! She took a subject I highly disliked and turned it into the most engaging and enjoyable one I've studied. She always has resources available, and they aren't boring reads either. PSYC3001 is informative & practical for anyone interested in clinical psych/mental health. DSM-5 based. Susan is vibrant, feisty and a wealth of knowledge. She enriches the course material with a personal or real case study approach. Lots of opportunity to do well! No textbook, She gives you all you need! Term: Spring (6 week full credit)

This class is based on 2 midterms and 2 exams (full year) so in order to succeed you must attend lectures and put work in on the side by writing out notes. Her lectures are oral and she provides notes to follow along, notes can get confusing if you don't attend class! No textbook and her tests are very easy if you prepare for them all semester

Susan was wonderful. She was very interested in her students well being. She would go out of her way to help you anyway she could. Her tests were fair and always gave reviews, bonus marks, and practice tests. Her lecture notes are mainly "fill in the blank" so attendance is important. Shes very passionate about psychology and makes it interesting

I absolutely LOVED Susan! She genuinely cares about her students and their academic success. She always gave us more than enough extra material and practice exams to help us with our learning, and her lectures were witty, passionate, and informative. If you want to, or have to, take a psychology course; I highly recommend her!

Very kind and humorous lady, puts a lot of effort into her lessons and it is clear that she loves what she does. BUT: her notes are in caps-lock, bold, size 14 and underlined with some sentences in different colours. Very hard to follow. Tests and exams are easy if you attend lectures and study. Overall, not bad.

Her notes are on point so it is okay to skip class. She posted everything in advance so in case you wanted to study early you can do so. She is willing to change stuff according to how the class perform. I love her!
