Mrs. Sprecher is a great teacher. She uses powerpoints for all of her lectures, and gives extra credit opportunities a lot. This class is a lot of work for a 100-level course. There's a lot of busywork each week that took at least an hour and a half to do, even rushing through it. It also had nothing to do with the quizzes, which were based around the textbook. While I do think the class was interesting, that got overshadowed by the amount of work we had to complete.

One of the best professors I've had at ISU. She's a tough grader, but gives amazing feedback, inspiration and knowledge to her students. I've had the opportunity to work closely with her for the past year and I've never grown to respect someone as much as I have with her.

She is a nice professor. But this class was so much work. By the end, I was burnt out. Great material, just lots of busy work.

lots of weekly homework due at weird times that was not relevant to quizzes and tests. Everything was from the textbook including most questions on exams but I didn't actually read once. If you keep up with homework and use your resources for the tests and quizzes it's an easy to pass class with some interesting topics to keep you interested.

This teacher is nice, but she has a very strict time to submit assignments. Usually, assignments are due by 11:59pm for all classes, but she wants them due by 2pm, which makes no sense as it gives us no time to work on those assignments, especially when going full time.

To start, she has a lot of assignments. Like, two hours worth of assignments per unit, not including reading and quizzes. I didn't mind it as much since I worked ahead and found the class interesting, but, understandably, some might not like it. I could usually get ahold of her through email for any problems. Her expectations are clear.

A ridiculous amount of assignments, something due every day at 2:00 pm which is inconvenient for everyone. She structures her quizzes around the textbook and her online lectures from some random website. Grades always come back late and the content (while easy) is made much harder by how she structures assignments.

People are being dramatic, i fear. By far the easiest course I had this sem. The assignments take MAYBE 40 mins a week, and quizzes r easy. Final was weird, it didn't feel like anything we went over but was still pretty simple. Just read!
