Very nice, a little boring at times...beneficial to show up to class even though attendance is not mandatory because tests come straight from lecture. Multiple choice tests, even midterm and final...if you do well on all tests final is not required.

Man all she does is talk that class is about as much fun as a clown on fire.

Rather easy, a little boring, but easy A if you pay attention and study. I only showed up for tests, no attendence.

You only have to go to class for the 3 exams if you read the chapters on your own. She tells you what is on the test beforehand...how much easier can it get?

By far the easiest class I've ever taken. Just study the powerpoint and corresponding stuff in the book. Easy A.

Nice Lady, study the notes she gives in class and you will do well. Course has some very interesting points.

She's a nice lady but her test are hard as hell.

She explains the material very well and gives you an outline and powerpoint notes! If you don't like psychology, the class will be boring, but it would be in that case with any teacher. She makes it pretty interesting.

She's really nice but she's sneaky. She compares signatures on the sign in sheet to know if someone else signed you in. She's also really boring and her tests are hard as hell.

She is perhaps one of the best professors I had at SHU. Now that I am a professor, I use her class notes to help as a guide. I hope I can be half as good of teacher as she is.

Lectures are boring perhaps would be better if there weren't so many people in the class. Gives three test and the final is optional. You can do extra credit. and the test are multiple choice

OK class, gets boring with powerpoint. With large classes you feel totally left out and lost sometimes. OK, no other way to put her.

She is nice and makes class interesting but her tests are impossible. There is no way to know all the answers because the questions are very broad. Use both her outlines and her slide shows to study and even that info isn't enough. Check your scantrons she makes a lot of mistakes.

Tests really are impossible. Do as many experiments as you can. They help out for extra credit. And don't forget to do you're modules. If you do those two things you can still get D's on the tests and get a C+ for your grade.

She is sooo nice. Very understanding and great at explaining concepts. Take good notes and you're set. Tests aren't that bad if you study a lil and have a good idea of whats going on. Definately take her.

Nice lady!! its a lecture class so you can basiclly sit on your lap top the whole time and do nothing. If you do your modules and read the chapters on your own you will do fine on her test. GO TO CLASS SHE TAKES ATTENDANCE!! good luck!

Very lecture oriented so a bit of a bore, and her giggle gets annoying after a while. But she knows her stuff and is not that hard to learn from. Just go over her slides and take supplementary notes to them and you will be good to go.

I took this class over the summer and the class was great. If you read your textbook and go to class you should have no problem passing her test. I got a B in the class.

The truth is, she is very nice and helpful if you email her or go see her, but most people don't. Most people just bring a laptop and play Mario Kart and then complain about poor grades. If you pay attention, READ THE BOOK, and ask for help you can do well because the tests are a bit difficult.

Pay attention in class. Go over her powerpoints. Lots of memorization, but not too hard of a class if you are a good student.

She laughs at herself all the time, but her powerpoints are clear. You don't really have to go to class, memorize the powerpoints and go through the book.

She's a great teacher. All of her powerpoints she puts online. You never need to go to class. Only to take the tests. The quizzes are online and you can take them as many times as you want. She's very nice and very helpful. If she didn't put the powerpoints up, I would love going to her class because she's fun to learn from.

i did well in her class, didnt buy the book. you dont really need it. some online quiz questions might be from the book but i looked some online and got 100s. Just have to memorize the powerpoints for tests. good teacher. id take her again

She is very easygoing and makes the class more comfortable as a result. I find the material interesting and spend a relatively short time studying and do well on her tests. Be familiar with her lecture notes. She does MC and Short Answer tests (of which she gives options that are all covered in class). She is sweet and has a quirky sense of humor.

Attending class nor the textbook are really needed to pass this class. But you need to know the slides can be a bit tricky at times if not fully prepared.

This class is easy, but extremely boring. I don't think I've ever been so bored by useless anecdotes before in my life. I'm exhausted after every class because of how boring it was.

You don't need to go to class but it helps if you're in between grades. Go to as many psyc studies as you can for extra credit. All you need to do is review the slides and you can get an easy A. Lecture is boring though.

very nice and lovely lady. class is a bit boring though. she gives you all the power points so going to class is not necessary, but now she takes attendance every class. she give 6 online quizzes and 4 tests but drops lowest grade. if you study this class is easy. also doing psyc studies are pretty annoying, but otherwise TAKE THIS CLASS

Very dry teacher. However, the whole last 2/3 of the semester i stopped showing up to class. She did not take attendance, class was over 100 people, all the powerpoints we did in class were online, quizzes were online, only 4 tests with the lowest one dropped. Passed the class with flying colors!

Dr. Teague was awesome to have for Intro to Psych, but her tests did get a little tough. There is a lot of information on her power points and tests, so you definitely need to read. She doesn't give a guide of what to study, but on BB there were Unit outlines which were kind of helpful.

Teague is a wonderful woman. She's very sweet and very good at engaging with students. Tests and quizzes are very easy if you read the textbook and she drops the lowest test grade. Relates a lot of the class topics to her cats which I loved. She truly wants her students to do well. If you pay attention and read the textbook you do great! :)

Really nice lady. You have to study but the exam material is covered in lecture. Took this as a summer course, it requires work but is fair and doable. I got an A.

It's your basic lecture-based class (with 90 students). She is definitely a solid choice. Sometimes she talks to herself, or talks to the ceiling but overall she explains things well and is super helpful and understanding.

Dr. Teague is honestly one of the sweetest ladies/professors at SHU. The subject matter is not too difficult, but pay attention, attend class (not mandatory, but your performance will reflect your attendance), and ask questions! She's more than happy to help. Three tests (25% each) and 25% assignments. Quirky humor - laugh at her jokes!!

Dr. Teague is such a sweet and caring professor. Her lectures may not be the most exciting but she will make you laugh with her jokes and comments. Her assignments are easy and if you put in a little effort you will likely get an A. Definitely recommend!

Dr Teague's class is one where as long as you study the PowerPoints you will be cruising. She even drops a test, which in my opinion is not even necessary. Very funny and explains things in ways that will make them more understandable, and beware skipping because there some in class assignments. Yeah it's boring, but way better than the other profs

For Social Psych, Dr Teague is solid choice. You don't need the textbook, just buy the online homework system, because her slides suffice as all the info you'll need. She's really funy, but often goes on long tangents about some slide and you'll get bored, so bring a phone or laptop to get through the 75 minutes. You'll have to try for the A.

There are 4 tests throughout the semester and each test is on 3 chapters. However, you can drop the lowest test grade so only 3 count. No midterm and no final which is nice. Definitely study because sometimes the questions on the tests aren't what she goes over during class and are in the textbook.

Professor Teague was a great professor. Her lectures get boring, but her quizzes and tests are easy. Study the powerpoints that she goes over in class (she posts them too). She is very clear on grading.

By far one of my favorite professors. Dr. T is absolutely amazing and she cares whether or not you learn, not just memorize. She gives great feedback on work and gives you plenty of chances to get an A. You do have to put in work outside of just looking at the PowerPoint but she's always there to help. Take her class every chance you get!

Good class, lecture heavy, so definitely don't skip because there will be a lot to catch up on. Three tests, hw, quizzes, and research credits due, fair grader and EC available which I highly recommend as it's easy to achieve the extra 2% to your grade. Solid choice for psych, just show up and put in some work and you'll be golden.

took dr. teague for intro to psych, only attended class twice in the semester and passed with a B for her class. she rambles a lot in lecture so I didn't find that helpful, I would just read the textbook (where info is taken from for her exams, what she says isn't on her exams) and I would read and note take and show up for the exam, easy class

Prof Teague is great. She laughs at her own jokes, which I find comforting. Not a hard class at all. She records all her lectures & posts them at the end of class & she also posts the slides (veryyy convenient!) Textbook isn't a must but you could use it to follow the lesson. Follow everything on the syllabus & you'll be good.

One thing I liked was her adding points to each exam if a question was difficult. Make sure you can explain and apply the terms and concepts well for open ended and pay attention to the psych studies and experiments. I suggest just annotating the slides a bit for notes and studying for a week should be fine.

MEMORIZE THE POWERPOINTS!!! it is not hard even though it sounds tough. the content is short and easy, some are even common sense. an A in this class is easy if you know how to study. so just memorize it and the class won't be a bother. u can memorize in 1-2 days. u don't need attendance for an A.

The connect assignments are lowkey long but they are good review for the tests. There is no final, just 3 unit tests. They are a little harder than expected tho. Not a fan of one of her emails, she said nobody can leave the auditorium even to use the bathroom. Apparently we always leave bc we are "texting our boyfriends/girlfriends" like what...

I loved this class. Her tests were a little bit difficult, but with careful consideration of her powerpoints and supplementing with the textbook modules, you will be fine. Professor Teague is lighthearted, funny, and engaging and I thoroughly enjoyed being in her class

Super easy going professor and the tests are just like her lecture slides.

Dr. Teague gives great examples in class to thoroughly explain what she means on her powerpoints. She laughs at her own jokes which makes a nice learning environment especially since every other class is strictly lecture for over an hour. She does a great job at both teaching the material we are tested on and making class entertaining.

Honestly, she is not a bad professor. Her tests are not hard or out to trick you. She provides the study guide for her exams and as long as you study and read the textbook you will be fine. The only thing is, she is very boring. The class itself is interesting she just makes it boring. She is very nice though and cares about her students.

most genuine professor, replies to emails fairly quick and wants her students to do good. really hard to do bad in her class. 3 unit exams and no final mostly reviewed her slides and supplemented a little from the textbook and hw questions. great class, would definitely take her again.

Dr. Teague's class is the easiest psych class you could take. Her lectures might come off as boring because she speaks very monotone, but if you pay attention and take notes, the information is very interesting. She assigns homework once a week and has 3 exams. The exams are relatively easy if you study your notes and understand the material.

Her lectures are very boring and I stopped showing up after the second week except for tests. You can study solely based off the PowerPoints (despite what she says) and get 100s on the exams. Very easy class and I only spent about 4 hours studying for each of the 3 exams (so like 12 hours spent on this class excluding HW achieve every week).

Dr. Teague is truly invested in your success. While lectures can sometimes feel dense, she takes the time to ensure that you understand important concepts. She appreciates participation and engagement. Exams are straightforward -- they cover all the info in lecture slides and class discussions, and scores are curved. Great professor overall!

Class attendance isn't required, but keeping up with the online assignments and actually studying is key because the tests can get tricky if you wing it. She's super accesible outside of class and responds to emails quickly
