A bit boring but easy. If you get the general idea and write that in the exam - you should get an A. Take good notes. Her exams might look hard but they are not. She's an easy grader as long as she thinks u get the idea.

Very easy teacher. She does not even require a textbook. Just take notes and read the handouts. I got an A, and I think I studied less than 4 hours the entire semester. I also like her because she's not a liberal. Gets kudos for that.

There is no better teacher for this course! Extremely nice, extremely fair, makes a somewhat boring class exciting. Sweet woman. Gave our class two take-home midterms, a quiz for the final, and one group project for the semester. No homework but read the book to keep up on things for class.

She's a bit quirky so you might have to get used to her. Her class isn't hard if you keep on your assignments. She is pretty flexible in terms of grading and will meet with you if need be.

If ART/theater, isn't your thing, don't take her, the subject matter is confusing as it is. She isn't bad, just, well, very abstract. You gotta do a lot of work. Though if you can write decently she is a very easy grader.

Everyone should take this class. Professor Tenenbaum is extremely easy and has a good heart for giving good grades. If you want an A take this class because her exams are fair and she tends to lean more towards the final (not comprehensive). Lectures can be boring at times though.

VERY nice woman. Just a great person at heart and a pretty easy grader. It is key to read the textbook at least somewhat if you want an A--but taking good notes is more important. Not much work at all--Midterm, 2 take home Essays, 1 Project, and a Final.

This class was pretty good because we learned about art and went to different shows! She does not give a lot of work and you just need to get used to her teaching style!

Prof. Tenenmaum is one of the sweetest professors at Baruch. She is very helpful, and her exams are straight from her lectures. Take good notes and you should do great. If you have any questions, she will clarify everything- always a plus before an exam. 1 midterm and 1 final. Overall grade: A++

Great professor no question. One group paper, one midterm(3 essay questions), and she even made the final a take home because of the strike. Teaches material in interesting manner and you'll definately learn a lot.

SHE IS THE NICEST PERSON IN THE WHOLE SCHOOL!...there is only a midterm and a final and in order to ace both you MUST come to every class and take extremely good notes...she does not take attendance but you must come in order to do well...exams have 9 questions in which you need to choose 8 they are short answer questions awesome professor

Tenenbaum is a wonderful professor. She taught in a way that allowed everyone to learn the subject. She's very funny and extremely helpful. I took her for honors, but it was NOT a difficult class at all. She doesn't require the textbook, but her final and midterm test to see if you've done some reading on your own. Great prof, take her if you can!

She is an excellent prof. Really knows her stuff. only 2 exams & gives curve. One student didn't show up for the 1st exam & she gave him a take home exam. How great is that? Explains everything clearly. Gives u a bunch of print outs and asks you to read the book. Rarely takes attendance. Just study what she write on the board and U will do fine.

She is an experienced woman in her field of studies. She'll be great in cutting your school budget because she won't require a text book. You have to go to class to get the material most of the time. Sure, she does a mini-review beginning of each class, but you need to attend class despite the fact she is lenient with attendance.

She keeps really up-to-date on politics, but she uses interesting notes that she wrote way back when. She likes participation so if you took AP Gov, it's all smiles. Study/take good notes bc that's all you really need besides a quick glance at a textbook for the midterm/final. She's lenient but don't be late to every class-an A will turn into an A-

She is one of the best and nicest professors you will find in the school. Just pray your classmates are mature. We had two inarticulate feebleminded individuals making awkward noises in the back of the class. Am I still in high school? Even though they tried to ruin the experience it's still one of my favorite classes ever!

Great professor. She does a great job of hiding what her political leanings are. She gives information objectively and knows her stuff, and is really one of the greatest teachers in Baruch. The only complaint I can have is that she was not more strict in regards to the idiots in the back of the class who constantly disrupted learning

I did not feel challenged as an honors student. She was a nice woman, but the class was a bit tedious. I found myself constantly looking at the clock. If you prefer take-home essays for midterms and finals, take her.

It's funny how those two fools who wrote about the incompetent individuals in the back of the class never had the courage to say it to their faces. I actually know that circle of people and each of them received no lower than an A-, and some of them have GPAs above 3.6. Stop being judgmental and tight because you got a B and they got As.Good class!

Easy class, but you will learn a lot if you pay attention. The kids in the back made me laugh and they are actually smart and funny (they're just being silly to loosen up the atmosphere). If it really hindered your performance in class than you're such a drama queen. Baruch seriously has a bunch of squares.

What a nice lady! She is probably the most passionate teacher you'll ever meet! Take notes and you'll ace the class! I made the mistake of slacking a bit and it turned out her final questions were very specific. Don't let that happen to you!

Professor knows her stuff. She's very lenient and laid back. Just do well on the midterm and final and you'll be fine. The questions are very very tricky though. Sometimes you have no idea when she talked about the material. Good none the less.

A really sweet professor who takes the effort to explain all the material. The only reading is from handouts and she explains them too. To do well, just take notes and review them for the midterm/final. She also has a lot of interesting stories to back up her points. Recommended.

She is into judicial system, so if law is not your cup of tea don't take her. I wish CUNY and Baruch had more professors like her.

Professor Tenenbaum knows what she is teaching and truly loves political science. Such a sweet, happy woman who treats students with respect. Lectures are pretty boring though but class is relatively easy. Midterm and final, that's pretty much it. This course is recommended. It is not difficult to get an A in this class.

let me start off by saying i hate politics. however prof tenenbaum kept me interested. SHE IS A TEACHER WHO WANTS YOU TO DO WELL AND SUCCEED WITH A GOOD GRADE. i learned SOO much in her class and important things you really should know as a U.S. citizen! very passionate teacher.

She is an OK professor. She often goes off tangents in her lecture, which pertain to the topics she teaches but is nonetheless not on the tests. There is a midterm take-home essay, group paper, and a final.

Only take-home midterm and final so if you take her make sure you ace both. She takes attendance for the first few days, but then she stops. I would recommend going to class though because she says a lot of stuff during class. She ALWAYS tends to go off topic so you never know what's exactly going to be on the exams so listen carefully.

3 assignments: take-home midterm, a paper and a final. She goes on tangents so it was difficult to tell what to study for the final. However, she is the absolute sweetest person and what she did test was a perfect representation of what we learned. Very funny and enthusiastic. Taught us so much about political science and the world itself.

She's a very kind person, and is extremely knowledgeable. Only a few readings and they're worth doing cause the tests are basically straight out of the readings. Do the readings, take a couple notes, you'll get an A- at the least.

The class is very chilled out and Tenenbaum just blabbers on for days. This is good and bad... It is very hard to know exactly what she expects you to know for exams. She gave us a take home midterm but a short answer in class final. 15 short answer final questions basically determined your grade. But, pay attention and you'll do fine.

She really take care of students. She is so respectful and participation is so important in this class. If you are responsable with everything she put to read you will be fine.
