Wow, Wessner needs a pay raise, she is outstanding, I am retaking her class due to outside problems but she has always been my favorite teacher, completely understands that you have a life outside of school and she adapts to everyone, also explains very well, take her class, I hate math but I love her class, why can't she teach all math classes?!?!

I think she is a very great teacher and a great person. There are no stupid questions in her class. She is very patient and understanding, I have her again in the spring for Mat 24C. You can consider yourself being blessed just to have her for a teacher. I would advise everyone to register for her classes. I earned a "B". in her Mat 002 class.

AWESOME TEACHER! She's very, very nice and likes to make jokes. Wonderful teacher!!! she makes sure you understand before you move on to the hext lesson. She gives lots of quizzes though, but they really only help your grade. She drops the six lowest grades!!! Overall if you need to decide what math teacher to take tha pick her, she is amazing!

Mrs. Wessner is by far the best teacher I have ever had. I have never gotten an A in math until now. She will help you in any way that she can. She is fair, understanding and patient! I'm finishing up a prep web base math with Ms.Wessner.She doesn't mind you emailing her about questions or concerns. She doesn't take forever to respond to you and is very encouraging. Most importantly, she is very organized and timely. She informs you of the next step, exam, quiz etc. You will not be confused or frustrated by her lack of order.

I was homeschooled mostly and didn't go to college until last year when I was 22 so I had to take remedial math. Her and Mr. McNally are the best for this course.

HW about 3 times a week for 20% of the grade, 3 tests worth 60% scattered throughout the semester, and a final worth the final 20%. You are able to redo homework as much as you'd like to get 100%. She explains everything very well in her lectures, and she has online videos within the homework. She is always open to help you during office hours.

The class is actually hard for people bad at math, but she makes it the easiest she can and gives extra credit. I would have failed with any other teacher. Mrs. Wessnar is incredible i had her two sesmter in a row for Mat 1028 and Mat 1033. She took time to explain things as much as i took that every one understood. She is always in her office. I love Mrs. Wessner! She makes the class enjoyable. I wish I can have her for all of my math classes. She doesn't just talk at the class like some teachers she actually teaches and makes sure you get it. She's awsome.

She's a wonderful math teacher! My sister was right about her all along! She gives you enough time to do your homework and assignments! I've Also noticed that she would randomly check on her students during the day! I hope I will have her next Semester! If you want to a A+ student take notes. Make sure that you do all of your assignments.

I loved having Mrs Wessener my first semester of college, she make sure all her students understand the lesson. The lecture is never rushed and she always has a smile on her face. She does a good job of posting reminders and putting in grades.

Shes seriously the best, shes understanding she goes through every step until everyone understands and her study guides are exactly whats on the test. Shes the best of the best I recommend her. The homework may be much but she gives you so much time to complete it.

Mrs. Wessner is the BEST teacher I've had yet. She gives 6 points extra credit every test, had NO quizzes and she gives a study guide that is almost EXACTLY like the exams! She cares about all of her students and makes herself available for whoever needs it. She also sends out constant reminders for upcoming assignments and tests! TAKE HER!

Susan Wessner has probably been the best teacher during this pandemic. Her humor and compassion for teaching is clearly evident. The course work is as developmental math should be so don't expect super hard work. She makes it easy and fun to do math, something I never thought I would say.

Please do not take advantage of Professor Wessner, shes the greatest teacher ever. With positive energy every morning and great knowledge in her expertise. I truly hope to have her in my future classes if she offers them! And if you see this, just add her to your class already. You wont regret it.

Professor Wessner was funny and explained things very easy in her videos. You can re-do the homework as many times as needed. If you do the practice test (many times as needed) and get an 80% you get extra credit on the test. She responds fast to emails. If you watch the videos, do the homework, & study for test you will pass easily with an A!

I loved taking this class, Susan made a lot of funny jokes which kept the class interesting. She is a great teacher and is very knowledgeable, she explains everything clearly and can be reached almost all the time. So far she has been my favorite professor!

Ms. Wessner is such a sweetheart. Dont hesitate to to take her if you need any class she teaches. She made me comfortable with math and set a good foundation for my future engineering career. Thank you!

If you struggle in math she is an amazing professor. she really cares about her students, encourages class participation and is willing to go back and go over anything you don't understand. she makes it fun and easy to understand and offers TONS of extra credit. she uses remind daily and is super quick to respond and easy to contact.

Very clear outline of the course and is really caring and enthusiastic. Attendance isn't mandatory but as with any math course attendance does help with learning the content. she gives extra credit opportunities and the tests are just like the practice tests given and she goes over the practice test in class before the actual test.

Mrs. Wessner is one of the sweetest teachers I've ever had. She doesn't give a lot of homework. The homework is submitted through Lumen and she gives 1 or 2 worksheets due only on the days you have the class and the worksheets are usually no more than 25 questions. She gives plenty of time to do homework and prepare for tests. She does test reviews

I personally haven't had Ms. Wessner as my teacher, but my professor uses her videos to teach our class. Her videos and explanations saved me! She truly pays attention to details and knows where people tend to struggle so she knows how to help you and what stuff to focus on! Also, she is super funny and makes the videos go by fast! I loved her

Wonderful prof. Very caring, kind, fun. Had a contagious passion for the course. Course material was very clear, and made it easy for someone (me) who is not well versed in mathematics to truly comprehend each section. Tests very accurately reflected the work and study guides. 10/10

Mrs. Wessner is the best professor I've ever had, I wish I could take every math class with her. She teaches in a way that makes it really easy to understand everything and gives so many opportunities to get a good grade. I think it's actually impossible to fail this class. She cares about student success and is the nicest person.

Professor Wessner is a really great teacher. I'm actually taking her again this semester. She makes learning math fun. She's so helpful. She walks around the class to make sure we understand everything. She makes it easy to pass her class. The only way you couldn't is you're not asking for the help. She manages to tell a joke at the end. She sweet.

I love this professor so much, this is the first time where I actually enjoy a class for what it is and not just forcing myself to attend, I 100% recommend her if you want to pass and understand the concepts of math!!!!

Mrs. Wessner was so amazing and caring. She is so helpful and you have questions that are not specifically related to math class then she will still try to answer the question. Super helpful and caring. Test are easy and she will let you know what is on and not on the test. I really recommend her.

By far one of the best teachers I have ever had. She uses one book and you follow along on class. This will be your notes to help with HW. She will help you with anything as long as you ask and she sees you trying. Don't get it twisted she is very nice but she don't take bs. She loves corny jokes and you will get on at the end of each class.

Professor Wessner is the best professor I've had at TCC. She really cares if you get the content. I mean its unheard of how great she is. Doesn't use honorlock on exams, just her own honor system. She teaches the course so well though you don't need to cheat. she also tells funny jokes lol.

Mrs Wessner always made me laugh during class and actually made mary easy and fun. The textbook is really easy to use and you need to be in class because she goes over everything but she also has videos on canvas for every chapter.

As someone who has struggled with math her whole life, I was nervous going into a college level math course. Susan Wessner changed that perspective very quickly. She is not only kind and understanding, but incredibly encouraging. She will send messages just to tell you she is proud of how you're doing in her class so far. Hope to have her again.

I am no longer taking her class, I leveled up and felt I needed to come back to say how much I wish she was teaching some of the higher level math classes as well. I loved math when I was taking her class, and I usually hate math, but she was so amazing that I was happy to do it. She is AMAZING and I find myself still wishing she was my teacher.
