You can notice how well prepared she is in her subject. I took both enc's with her, and i really recommend her. I agree with they guy that said she has great legs...old hottie!

Highly recomended. No tests, just 3 papers. Pretty simple but becareful she can be harsh on grading. The way that you may write a paper may be different the the way she wants you to write a paper. An easy class to take and pass. Attendence is important, there is alot of classwork but not hard work.

One of the best teachers MDC has to offer. Very smart and kind woman. She reviews and gives assignments for a week or two to prepare you for your essays. You can't fail if you go to class. On top of all that she lets you re-write your first 3 assignments. I loved her. Ohh ... and there's no final.

I reccommend her totally. She's very inspiring & extremely kind. She critiques your papers but very constructively,gives good tips to make u a better writer. LOVED HER, be on time always & do your homework. No final easy A. she's not weird just very interesting. KNOWS HER STUFF.

She was a good teacher. Very easy, and gives you opportunity to fix what you do wrong. She shows you what to do and gives you specifics on what she wants. Sometimes she can be weird she gives boring assignments but she's good and easy, also very nive. She really like still living in the 70's though.

In response to the last comment, pro.Bognar is a great teacher. You dont need to kiss her ass to pass, because I didn't. All you need to do is turn in your papers before deadline, rewrite them & basically listen to what she teaches. She very helpful, but I do admit she's a tough grader. Only because she wants you to be more critical with your work.

In response to the person who wrote the bad review which is number 4, we all can see why you wouldnt like Bognar. You cant put a sentence together using correct spelling or sentence structure. Advice? Before you write a critique next time learn to write the English language correctly.

SHE'S A REALLY GOOD TEACHER, TRUST ME

What you write when you turn in papers means absolutely nothing. She will give you a good grade if you 1)Show up to every single class at least 10 minutes before her or 2)If you've taken her ENC1101 class. In highschool I was in the English Honor Society, but she would never give a grade higher than a C b/c I never came to class early.

SHE IS AN EXCELLENT TEACHER BECAUSE SHE IS PATIENT, HELPFULL, FAIR, KIND, PROFESSIONAL, CLEAR, EASY, AND ORGANIZED. Anyone who said anything different is incorrect and off base. But what can I say concerning them when they just have an awful attitude.To pass any class you have to want to learn for the most part and just be a responsible adult!

I have to agree with the person that said that the people who did not like Bognar's class in this post do not know how to write or spell. Bognar's class, to me, was one of the most helpful English classes that I have ever taken. She teaches well and the class is very easy. It doesn't get simpler than this...

She is nice and helpful. When you turn in you essay she will make corrections on it. When you get the essay back you can make changes and turn it in again. She already made the changes for you so all you have to do is retype it. It is an esay B for a person who english is not the best subject.

Her class is a joke. Extremely easy, & she can't grade for s***! If you're a retard in the special olympics you will pass this class. Although she does ALOT of writing assignments. Just make sure you keep up with the assignments. No tests, mostly writing.

Very nice teacher. She will grade your first assignment and let you make corrections to get a better grade. As long as you aren't completely stupid it's an easy A or B.

She is extremely intelligent. I left the class writing a whole lot better. She teaches simple tricks to improve your work. The work consists of writing assignments and reading a book. You may rewrite some assignments. She has great enthusiasm for what she teaches and it’s hard to miss how much she loves her work.

Prof. Bognar was great! Like other people have posted, she really wants her students to learn the proper ways an essay can be written. When I had her, she gave no tests; she didn't require any books either. She might require a reading book now, since things have changed a bit for English classes. She may give some tests based on that reading book.

what a horrible teacher.wow. at least her class is challenging,shes strict in terms of grading and deadlines. But she gives out these retarded,elementary school assignments where we have to walk around campus and find certain rooms and writerestaurant recommendations, stuff that isnt related to the subject at all.

She is passionate about the English language and writing. While taking a methodical approach, she accomodates everyone by providing clear and concise instruction. I suspect she has taught for a long time and yet, she is wickedly focused during class.

This class feels like forever when you sit through it for 50 minutes. Very boring and she's a strict grader. No easy 'A' in this course. No books required and no tests, but you will write about a paper per week.

Bognar is the type of professor who should be cloned. She's tough in the beginning but that only gets the rifraff out of the class by the last day to drop and then the class is a fun, reflective and learning experience. I now have my Master's degree and she is easily in the top 5 teachers I have ever had - and not just academically.

I am taking ENC1101 at the moment, and I can tell you that she's a strict grader when it comes to the papers you write. You don't need a book for her class, and there are no tests. Teaches you how you should write. But I don't see anyone getting an A in her class. The teacher is not mean at all. she's kind and really knows her stuff when teaching

very good teacher you have to write a few papers but you work on them in class so when you have to finish them you already have most of them done. she's very helpful and you should take advantage of that because she is very inteligent.

Piece of cake, simple assignments. I got A's and B's on almost every assignment, without trying too hard. If you fail this class, either something went wrong or you just suck and shouldn't have passed high school. She's got a great personality, very friendly and laid back. Plus, she's got great hair

Professoro Bognar is quite nice. You dont need to buy any books. her class is extremely easy. NO midterms or finals and all assignments are short and due in a week. She also give rewriting chances to boost a grade youre not satisfied with on many of her assignments. its not the most exciting class to attend, but its easy to pass if you just show up

Take her class. She's a bit tough on grading but she spoon feeds you the material. She provides you with worksheets and notes so you barely have to take notes. Class is boring but you dont do much. she is really nice. She explains, and goes over assigned papers before they are due and gives plenty of time for them but grades HARSHLEY. Its hard to write the way she wants and not many people get A's.

Take this class. The material is clear, the homework is easy, and the professor is flexible. Lessons are clear, and she clearly tells you what you need to do to get an A in an assignment. There's homework every week, but it's not overwhelming. In fact, it's very easy. You also get a chance to revise and rewrite your work for a better grade.

I liked her very much because she is an expert in writing profiles, proposals and essays in general. Very tough grader and you have to read the short stories, take notes about the characters, and participate in class. She is very knowledgable, you will learn a lot. I recommend her all the way.

This is the easiest English class there is. You show up to class, listen to her talk about whatever is on her mind that day and leave. Her 'essays' that are due are only a paragraph long usually. I actually learned a lot of things and it was easy as pie. She's also really sweet and caring. Would take again for sure.

I love this Prof. Bognar. I took her for both of my English classes and I loved every minute of it. She assigns interesting reading assignments and goes at a great pace. She truly cares about her students and she is incredibly smart. I loved to hear her college stories, very interesting.

Mrs. Bognar is a sweet lady. She's a good professor overall. She's very passionate about teaching English and she's an expert. However, she has her style of writkng and if you don't do it like her she'll think it's all wrong. She's a tough grader but let's you redo some of your work and she'll give feedback.

She assigns a few quizzes but they're simple.. mostly just on little short novels she gave us to read. Assigned a few papers also.. I believe 2 or 3. Honestly shes not an easy grader (I got B's and C'S on my papers) but if you do bad on a paper she lets you re write. She was very sweet too.. she just speaks very slowly and calmy lol.

She gives the class a very calm atmosphere. She cancels class ALL the time, which is a plus sometimes and not other times. Tough grader, makes you work for your grade, but a lot of the assignments themselves aren't difficult. Allows you to redo many essays if you got a bad grade. A lot of her short stories are dark, but you get used to it.

She's pretty good. Her assignments are really easy but she's a tough grader. Every little mistake matters a lot!! You can't see the grade you have unless you keep track of all of them.

If you feel that you need to get better at writing papers for school, this is a great course to take. Ms. Bognar starts with the basics, making sure everyone has a solid foundation before moving on. She allows rewrites and does her best to answer any questions. She is somewhat strict, but her goal is for each student to succeed.
