Awesome teacher, she is great!!

Ms Ferrell is a really good teacher, if you are getting into college for the first time and kinda suck in Math then this is the teacher for u, i been out of school for 12 years and coming into this class was the best decision i ever made, she gives extra credit so u can't fail this class just show up to class, Subperb teacher and very pretty:)

Overall great teacher, really pretty women and she is on point, gives extra credit work and mainly works with u if u need help, i would recommend if u are getting into TCC and u got to get your pre reqs done she is who i would pick for your first math class!! Awesome teacher again!!! easy A+

Ms. Locke said from the start that she was here to support us. She did just that. Hardest working professor I have had the opportunity to know. If you're taking college prep math you would be hard-pressed to find a better professor.

For me, Ms.Ferrell was picked blindly, I had no knowledge of any1 who taught math,&she has been my fav thus far& I am heading into my 2ndsemester.I have always been bad at math.I have never had a grade above a D except in elementary school. Im a visual learner,&I was having a difficult time understanding until I told her& the next day she helped.

Ms. Ferrel was super helpful, made sure she answered every question you had and made sure you understood exactly what to do, very energetic and beautiful, extremely caring of her students and class, very easy class, also this class can be a mixed class of 0018/0028 if you look for it when registering. Would take her for every class if possible!!!!!

Great teacher. She is very helpful and clear when it comes to the work. Gives plenty of extra credit. Make it to class and do the work and its quite a simple class. She makes it fun to learn new material. Especially when you become a ninja.

I took Ms. Ferrell-Locke for both 0014 and 0028. Math used to be my worst subject, but Ms. Locke motivated to do the best I possibly could in her class. I am really appreciative of that! If the student manages to get a perfect on a test she will deliver it to you in a frame. She is the best professor due to her work ethic and attitude.

she was extermely nice and helpful, and she was very encuraging. reassured you that you could do it when you felt discouraged. makes math seem easy and ensures thatyou understand it and doesn't get frustrated and give you the answer if your like me and it takes more than a few time to understand a concept very awsome will miss her.

Ms. F is so sweet. She is incredibly patient and extremely clear when explaining concepts. If you have a hard time with math, this is the teacher to take.

Ms. Suzzanne is very nice and helpful. She's very bubbly always happy. although she gives two quizzes on aleks every week but there all very easy.

One of the nicest and most helpful professors at TCC. Eager to teach and makes it interesting. A bit strict about tardies and absences. Eager to help with hw and answer questions. Corny jokes at the beginning of every class. Cares genuinely about her students, will email if you missed a class. Be ready to learn! Highly recommended!

She is a fantastic teacher! I have always had a tough time in math, and I passed easy in this class! Made 85-100s on all my tests. My homework and quizzes were online which was easy and she post all her lectures online so you can always go back and look if you are confused. 10/10 would recommend taking this class.

I have always been a C math student but she made me enjoy math. BEST TEACHER AT TCC. Very clear, always allows for questions, very helpful, and she makes math so easy. Coordinate your whole schedule around her class, she's amazing.

She is overall an amazing math teacher! Her explanations of the material are clear. Of course there's homework with each unit, how else does one learn math? Whenever you ask her for further explanations or any help she is more than willing to assist. There's 4 tests (mainly multiple choice) before the final and there's bonus questions on each one.

Best math teacher I've ever had. She goes over everything step by step and makes sure everyone is on the same page. Class isn't mandatory, but I 100% recommend showing up for class so you can catch what she's teaching. it makes the online hw and quizzes a lot easier. shes funny and cute and makes the class as easy as it could get.

Ms. Ferrel-Locke is a great teacher. I suck at math and she made everything as easy to understand as possible for all the students. She's so helpful and has office hours almost everyday. She makes corny jokes but it's cute and she's always professionally dressed. Love love love her, take her class if you want to pass.

Amazing professor! She is an absolute doll and is always extremely interested in making sure you understand the material. Will help on homework problems and stay after if you have any questions. She has everything perfectly laid out for the semester and stays on track so you know exactly what's going on. I recommend her 100%!!

She is the best math teacher I've had. Very clear with her notes and what's going to be on the tests. Study guides go directly with the tests. Homework isn't bad, gives plenty of time to complete.

She is so nice and likes to have fun when doing the math problems! I also love her math jokes she shows us! I would recommend her! Make sure you have the textbook, we used it at every class during the semester!

OMG!!!!! I loved her. I wish I could take her for my next math. She took the time to explain any question we had. She showed us different tactics to solve a problem. Math is my weakest subject and the only reason I did not make an A was own fault. Would highly recommend her!

If you have trouble with math, shes the best teacher to take. No ifs, ands or buts. She breaks it down and is very detailed. Also she loves when students asks questions. So never be afraid to ask for help! :)

She Is the best teacher I have ever had! This was her first-semester teaching calculus and she did an amazing job. She explained everything very clearly and posed the powerpoint notes before class so you could print them out and follow along. She also makes sure everyone understands the material before moving on. Very helpful in and out of class, she stayed after class many times helping me understand the material and answering any questions I had. She is an amazing teacher and an even better person. If I could, I would take her for all of my other math classes ahead.

Professor Ferrell-Locke was a great professor, she offered a lot of help during her office hours and she really cared about her students success. With help from her and determination on my part I was able to bring my grade up from an F to a B. Shes the best math professor Ive ever taken.

Ms. Ferrell-Locke was a great professor. An online math class can be intimidating, but she was very helpful. Very fast response to any questions I had, very kind, and very helpful. She also does a great job laying out the material, and giving you the right resources to fully comprehend the material.

I took Ms. Ferrell- Locke's class online. At first it seemed intimidating due to it being online during the summer with such a fast pace. After getting settled in the class it was a breeze. Any questions I had would get answered quickly and I if I worked ahead I would occasionally get an email encouraging me along.

Professor Ferrell- Locke really cares about your success in her class. I had a very high B towards the end and I emailed her and she dropped my 5 lowest homework grades and even took my final grade and replaced it with my lowest test score. The work load was definitely a good amount that anyone could deal with even if you have a busy schedule.

I took the hybrid class which put a lot of the work on myself. But she was always very helpful and since we only had class once a week, she was very quick to email and would help you with any problem. If you struggle with math, I would definitely suggest you take her!

She is one of the best professors at TCC. I'm not very good at math, and she always pushed me to strive the best. She would email me when due dates were coming up. I was struggling the beginning of the semester with personal issues, and she cared so much to always check up on me. Please take her, you won't regret it.

Amazing professor really cares more if you show up and participate more than what you make on the exam. Just show that you are interested and care even if you are bad at testing and she will take note and help you excel. Professor Ferrell-Locke was an incredible teacher with a light humor and caring attitude. She is quite young which I think is definitely a plus as she was very understanding, technologically savvy, and was able to keep the room light and stress free. I have always had a hard time with math, but with her class I felt like I actually understood it!

She is a very great teacher, she inspired me halfway through the course to persevere and not drop the course. I suck at math but her inspiration caused me to keep the class and I passed with a B. I highly recommend her!

Im just in the middle of the semester but I love that she was recommended to me from several students being that Im not so good in math I currently have a 99 in her class I will also give a update at the end of the semester if all goes well I will be taking her for MAC1105

Best math professor! She has teaching math down to perfection. She breaks down math problems down to where they are easy to follow for people that arent the best at math. Shes also never makes you feel like you feel bad when you ask for help, in fact she always encourages people to stop by her office for extra help. TCC is lucky to have her!

Great attitude every day. Quizzes could be taken with notes or with a partner. Really explained material well and homework was average level. Recommend.

AMAZING teacher! She has no problem breaking math down to the very basics and explains everything so that EVERYONE in the class understands. She makes it very easy to pass her class. I have always had a hard time in math but she makes it super easy and kinda enjoyable.

Great teacher that actually teaches you

She was my favorite professor. She is so nice, caring, and loves her students. Her class is so easy, just don't miss a lot of classes. Make sure you complete the notes in class and do the canvas homework, they're easy assignments. The test aren't hard, they're exactly like the study guides. Easy A if you like math.

Literally the most amazing and kind person ever! She is so thoughtful towards her students and is always a bright and happy person coming into class. She explains every detail of what she's doing so no students get lost and backs up whenever needed. There is some extra credit and she is lenient with grades. Take her! you won't regret it

Ms. Ferrell Locke is AMAZING. Having an excited professor makes class 100 times more enjoyable. I am not good at math in general so I struggle anyways but getting a B was great for me. Go to office hours, ask for help anytime, and show her you want to pass and do well in her class. She won't fail to get you where you want to be. I would take again!

Let me start by saying that I have a horrible history of math. This was my second time taking this class, and I got an A. If you go to class, participate, and make sure to do her notes/homework, you'll do great. She really cares for her students and was easily accessible outside of class. This lady is a saint if you struggle with math.

Cares of all her students, makes class entertaining even though math can be boring sometimes. All you have to do is show up to class take notes and especially do the homework. if you look over your notes the day before the test you will do just fine.

MS. Suzanne is an absolutely great teacher! She took the time to help each person understand everything. The class wasnt super challenging but you do need to complete the homework if you want to understand the material clearly. Being in class was very helpful but lectures were also online. She was amazing when we had to move online for the virus.

Was very clear about the requirements for the class. The only downside was that she does not teach the information in the class. You had to watch the pre-recorded lecture before you came to class. At first, I was nervous about this, but it ended up working for me. Very kind and respectful. Highly recommend if math isn't your strong suit.

The math itself isn't all that hard. It's kind of a refresher from high school. Mrs. Locke cares about helping her students understand any math problems they don't understand. She no longer uses honorlock and uses a separate site for tests/homework/quizzes. Textbook is also pdf she provides through canvas, so buy only if you have to.

Best college algebra professor. Every assignment is online and no honorlock. She makes the material extremely easy to understand. She is very kind and will explain any problem until you understand. You do not need to show up to pass. Easiest math class ever.

Overall, I liked this professor as a person, she was very caring and did whatever she could to help you. Although she cared I felt like her syllabus was incredibly hard for me. Her tests were worth 60% of your grade. I struggle when it comes to taking tests so this class was extremely hard for me.

Mrs. Ferrell-Locke is an amazing professor, and my favorite so far. Her lectures are fun and she encourages her students to ask questions. She cares about her students, and is aways happy to help.

This is one of the best Math teachers I've ever had, she answers every question in class, and if she can't she has office hours all the time, and you can ask her anything there as well.

Mrs. Ferrell-Locke is a great professor who really wants the best for her students. Be aware that there is a LOT of homework, so you must be ready to go on day one or you will fall behind immediately. Tests are honorlocked but are very similar to the reviews. This is as of spring 2023.

I took Professor Ferrell-Locke for both MAC1033 (which I received and A in) and she's been the only math professor to ever truly explain math in a fashion that a 1st grader would understand! All I have are good words for this Professor. I'd definitely take her if you get the chance too especially if math is also not your strong suit!!!

All there was a lot of homework wnd quizzes do they were really helpful for preparing for tests. I have been terrible at math my whole life but she helped me better understand it.

She is exactly what you would want out of a math professor. Explains the lessons super well and is always happy to answer any questions you might have. She is always available to meet outside of class! I cannot recommend her enough. Just go to class, take notes, and ask questions when you have them and you will get an A. Many extra credit options.

I found the class to be pretty easy. There is plenty of assignments and I liked the online Lumen assignments. The tests were online and they were Honorlocked, which took a lot of the stress out of the testing process. She offers lots of extra help and is very responsive to her students.

Great caring Professor

The course starts off challenging, but staying on top of assignments and checking your dashboard and email daily helps. The instructor cares and may reach out if you're struggling, but stay proactive. All materials are on Lumen, so get familiar with it early. Use your resources and stay engaged.

Her lectures were easy to follow, and the homework assignments were used through lumen. She uses honorlock for her tests but as long as you show up to class you shouldn't have much to worry about.

She is an absolutely an amazing professor! She is easy to contact outside of class and explains the assignments and work really well and makes sure you understand it! There are a very few pop quizzes but she usually hints around the day before. She makes sure everyone starts preparing for the study guide at least 2-3 days before.

She's an amazing teacher, always asks if we have any questions and wants to make sure you succeed in her class. She will guide you through every step process, and makes math easy to learn. The first half was super easy, but after the second half it started to get a little more challenging. As long as you pay attentio, you'll be fine.
