Best Math teacher I've ever had. Very clear, very specific, very helpful....as long as you pay attention and do the work. Everyone should take her for math.

The subject matter is hard but she is an excellent teacher. Clear, easy to follow plus she averages in homework to boost grades

She is awesome. So nice and understanding. Quizzes and tests are mostly the easy problems. Who wouldn't like someone that gave you a sticker on your test for an A or a B.

Great teacher, she gives notes that you can understand, and it's hard not to get an A/B in her class.

If you don't like Math and have difficulities; take Professor Kozak. She is one of the best professors at Assumption College. If you do your homework you shouldn't have any problem succeeding.

I found calc extremely difficult but I also didn't work hard enough. She is an excellent teacher, and easy on the eyes, and very clear and helpful. I wish I had put more of an effort into her class, but I truly did deserve the crappy grade I got.

The best math professor I've ever had! Very apprehensive before entering this class, and didn't think i would do very well. She explains everything very well, and is extremely helpful. I usually wind up with B- and C's in a math course, and im gonna end up with an A-. amazing professor. take her if you can!!!

Kozak is the best math professor i've ever had. I honestly recommend her to everyone because she's helped me out so much. I used to be horrible at math but thanks to her, I'm getting an A in the class. You won't regret taking her!

Kozak is a great professor. She is so helpful in office hours.If you don't go see her there you are a damn fool. She gives partial credit which is nice and is an overall fair grader. She tries to make sure you end up with the best grade possible by dropping a low quiz grade and the tests count for different percents. Not bad on the eyes either.

She is by far one of the best professors I've ever had. Extremely helpful; her notes are so organized and she presents the material in a way that is so easy to understand. I would recommend taking this class to anyone....even if math is not you strongest subject you'll do well in this class :)

Best professor at AC. She knows how to teach and what to teach. She doesn't waste your time with random bs work and works hard to makes sure you understand the work. Take her class...8:30s are worth it!

Professor Kozak is extemely nice and very approachable. I havnt had to go after because her teaching is very understandable, but she is always mentioning her office hours and if I did need help I would feel completely comfortable going after for help. Hope I get her again next semestester. Strongly recommend to anyone who has trouble in math.

Kozak's way of explaining problems and equations makes so much sense. I have always thoroughly enjoyed math, and this class made me so much more interested in it. She has a way of explaining even the most difficult problems easily. Great Professor, Great Person.

Straight up best professor for Calculus I. She made this one of my easiest and most enjoyable classes. She is great at explaining everything and goes nice and slow. She is very straightforward and her homework assignments are helpful for tests and quizzes. Would love to take Calculus II with her but she doesn't teach it! Highly recommended!

If you struggle with math definitely take her. She goes through everything at a good pace and is always open to help you. She is definitely worth the 8:30's. There is nightly homework and multiple quizzes and tests but if you go to class and ask questions you will do fine. Definitely recommend and would take again. Took her for MAT114 too

I was never really good at math but when I had Prof. Kozak Calculus was fluent to me. She explains things thoroughly and I advise never to skip her class or else you will be behind. She is willing to help you and trust me if you're afraid of Calculus, take it with Kozak, do the work and you will do just fine

I've had Prof. Kozak twice, first on a review from my roommate, then i opted for an 8:30 class to take her again. She's a generous grader and always makes it clear what she wants on tests and quizzes. She explains concepts very well and will go over as many problems as you need. I'm no good at math and I loved this class.

Best Math professor ever!! Even if you don't like math, she will make it interesting and EASY to understand!! If you are taking Calc 1 or an intro course like MAT114 or 111 and are nervous about taking a math course, go out of your way to get your class in one of her sections!

Prof Kozak is such a great professor. She really cares about her students understanding the content. She does everything step by step and slow to make sure everyones on the same page. I HATE math, and she made it somewhat easy for me.

She knows exactly what she is doing and as long as you pay attention in class, you will too. She lets you know exactly what you need to - there is never anything on her tests of quizzes that you won't know and she never tries to trick you on assignments like some other math teachers. I constantly recommend her to people and so does everyone else.

Kozak is literally the best math professor. Gives lectures in class, assigns homework every night (except night before test/quiz), and her tests/quizzes are wicked easy if you're good at math and study a little. Highly recommend.

Kozak is the best math professor hands down. She is so good at teaching and really makes sure you understand it. Her class is very open in the sense that you just kinda shout out answers or shout out a question as shes explaining a problem on the board. Tests and quizzes always have a fun bonus!

I loved Professor Kozak's class. You will have a quiz about every 2 classes. 3 exams and the final. Each exam is weighted on how well you do on it, the exam you do the best on is worth more than the exam you did the worst on. I recommend sharing the textbook, you only need it for homework problems. Go to class and you will understand the material

Professor Kozak really enjoys what she teaches and can explain everything in many different ways to ensure students understand. She is always available for additional help outside of class. She gives homework every night which is very helpful for understanding material. There are only 3 tests and a final, and few quizzes throughout the course.

Coming into college as someone who didn't really excel at math, I was so genuinely nervous about passing a math class, never mind doing well in one. Let me tell you, this wonderful woman taught me better than any high school mathematics teacher ever could!! Makes difficult concepts seem like it's elementary level math. PLEASE take her if you can!

In high school, I got HORRIBLE grades in math but the way Prof. Kozak taught and actually cared about her students made me get the best grade I've ever gotten in math. She really was able to help us in and outside of class.

She's one of the best math teachers here at Assumption. I was so blessed to have her for math here. In most classes, she lets out early, and even then she still teaches the material well and not too fast. She drops your lowest quiz grade and gives your highest test grade the most points.

One of the best math professors I had. I went to her office hours twice a week during the spring semester of 2022. Kozak would go over everything step by step until I figured it out. She is not one of those teachers that make you feel dumb during class. Make sure you pay attention when during class and ask questions!

Calculus has a hard reputation, but Professor Kozak made it very manageable. Frequent quizzes, hw, 4 exams including the final. She is good at explaining the notes and is more than willing to help anyone. I recommend taking her class.
