Very good math professor (compared to others). If you can't understand the lectures, then you're not trying. She's always available if you need her, plus you can ask q's in class.

The best math teacher i've ever had. If you have a problem with any of the material she has no problem helping you before/during/after class (unless she cancels her office hours [which happens a lot]). She loves what she teaches and that makes a difference, and she knows her material.

I really liked this teacher in the end, but she likes to play mind games. When you go in, she'll try to scare you into dropping her class and will periodically remind you of how difficult the subject is and how we might not pass. On the other hand, she is very helpful when asking a question and offers her services a lot. Her exams are hard.

Very good teacher especially when it comes to understanding the concepts of math. I took her class over the summer and she made things very clear. Very energetic and says "Holy Shmolly!!!" a lot.

Every enthusiastic teacher, but you cannot use a calculator for the class. Only recommend this teacher for students that are not familiar with using a calculator and do everything by hand.

Very helpful and super easy. Have quiz every week. Don't worry it's easy and it's only two to three problems. It help you prepare for the test. In order to get an easy "A" in the class you need to do all the homework assignments. It takes up a lot of time but it's worth it. Some people have over 100% on the test. What you get is what you earn.

This teacher is excellent! There is a lot of work involved, but you learn so much more than any other professor. Sure, she doesn't let you use calculators; however, you don't -need- calculators and this is good prepping for big-wig university styles. She's always willing to help you and very funny and interesting during her lectures.

Excellent teacher, relates work to real life and teaches what you will actually need. Granted she makes you work hard but when you get an A it makes you feel like you deserve it. Attend her office hours as much as possible.

I loved this class...Dr. Lindborg knows her stuff. She relates math to everyday life, which makes it much easier to understand. She really cares if you get it and is very helpful and approachable. I really njoyed this class; in fact, she inspired me to become a math major! Highly recommended!

Very helpful and very clear in her lectures. Writes a little fast at times, but will slow down if you ask her. Tests aren't easy, but not to hard if you do the homework she assigns. Tends to leave the class room during exams, but that was the only problem I had with her. One of the two best math teachers at Delta!

She is a great teacher, very smart. I took her pre-cal, cal 1, and cal 2 classes. She will work out a problem step by step if you just ask. She cares about her students and is always willing to help.

Dr. Lindborg is an extremely knowledgable and helpful teacher. Her lectures are clear and concise. There is a lot of homework but if you put in the time you will get the grade. She will definetly prepare you for calculus. I recommend her.

Do YOUR HOMEWORK (& Understand it) and you'll do fine. She's a tough teacher but teaches throughly (except when the class falls behind) and legitimately care about the success of her students. She prepares you for the next level of math and has a dry sense of humor (makes the class fun). Would recommend her to those who are seriously about math.

She's a great teacher for anyone who needs or wants to take math. Her method is clear, concise and easy to understand. She is always available to help and is extremely fair in test. If she didn't teach it, it won't be tested. The class revolves around lecture and homework so little to no reading is involved. And above all else she maintains humor.

An awesome teacher. Lots of homework, but that's how I learn so it's okay. The quizzes come straight from the homework, and the tests aren't bad if you study. True, you can't use calculators, but she's not interested in how well you can crunch numbers, so you don't need them. She is freakin' HILARIOUS.

She's funny, intelligent, and helpful.She's very good in explaining things.Be prepare for tons of homework. However I think she is tough on grading. You can't use calculators so always double check your answer. Although some said she doesn't care on how well you can crunch numbers, but she will take points off if you don't do your math correctly.

She is very clear in her teachign style and she goes through the chapters extremely fast. However, if you stop her and ask her to clarify or review parts you don't understand, she will definitely take the time to go back over previous covered work. She is forgetful so she doesn't really remember quizzes (either that or shes too lazy to make them)

I thought she was an excellent teacher. She cares about her students, but she's not going to baby her students that don't put in the extra effort to try to figure some stuff out. Its important to be able to STUDY the book to help you in this class. For those of you saying this class is too hard, its CALCULUS. Of course its hard!

Great Professor. She teaches Precal expecting students to go onto calculus and teaches in that regard. Lots of homework, but tests/quizes are graded promptly. She will help you on office hours and answer questions about homework every day. STUDY!

She is the most helpful math teacher. She covers all of the material in class. Her tests are a little bit challenging, but that's how assess your math skills, not by knowing exactly what's gonna be on the test like other math teachers do.

Highly skilled and challenging professor. I've had her for three semesters now (soon to be 4). I am always engaged and challenged by the course material and her sense of humor. Not the calc class for an easy C though. If you want to REALLY LEARN Calc/Precal, take Lindborg. If you want to get through Calc1/2 the easy way, then take Barker.

She knows her stuff and expects you too as well. I had a difficult time with this class because I haven't taken pre-calc in 3 years. She teaches very fast, almost too fast sometimes. I luckily passed with a B, but if you are looking for an easy class don't take her.

Took Lindborg for 3 semesters and came away with the critical knowledge that I needed to succeed in Math 3 and 4. Future math 3 students: do NOT take math 3 and 4 together. I'd say take math 4 first because it will help you. I didn't have Lindborg for Math 3, but I'm wishing that I did.

Meanwhile, BACK AT THE RANCH!! she is awesome. two semesters down and going to math 5, taking her as much as possible. if you cant take the pain, stick with barker, but i hope you don't build any bridges because i wont trust your comprehension of math. Dr. Lindborg is great! She's so funny, she'll say the random-est things which make her lectures interesting. She explains very clearly but if you still don't understand she is available during office hrs. She also helps go over hw. I rec. you take her for precal so u know her teaching/tsting methods.I'm a math wiz but she still challenged me.

She keeps you on your toes, very clear, very good professor, very helpful, if you come out on top, it was well earned. Must keep up with HW, and study a lot.

Dr. Lindborg was EXTREMEMLY helpful and understanding when I missed assignments due to the problems im going through in life right now. She is very helpful and will respond to e-mails (unlike many professors). Today is the Final and im pretty nervous because it looks Really difficult. I hope to take her classes in the future.

I had Dr. Lindborg for Math 39 and Calc 1. She makes you do much of the homework which does help you with the test. I took Calc 1 over summer, which was EXTREMELY HARD, but i still passed. BEST TEACHER EVER!!! I know that everyone complains about her, but that is because they do not want to do the work. She is the best math teacher in the entire campus. IF YOU WANT TO LEARN MATH AND ARE SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR EDUCATION TAKE HER!! if you dont then go with Barker he is plain easy. Still you wont learn half as much.

Very helpful, will go over the homework with you and explain how to do it. TAKE NOTE, the hw questions asked will be on the quiz! STUDY AND PRACTICE them many times and you will ace the quiz. The exam uses the same method of taking the hw questions. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE and you will pass with an A. Doing the problems once will not help.

Hard teacher! I was pretty bad in precalc, getting Cs in 38A and B. Thanks to how hard she is, I settled down and put myself to work. If you can't follow her, it WILL seem like she's doing magic! Study for her tests. Her class is a blast. She's funny and always wants you to do your best. I ended up with an A in her class. Will take her for Math 2.

Dr. Lindborg is literally the best math instructor ever. Calculus is not an 'easy' subject but any stretch of the imagination, but this class is definitely doable if you put in the time, and truly understand the homework.

Dr Lindborg is the best Teacher i have ever had she's very helpful and explains using analogies(which are often funny) I took her math 1 class and decided to take her math two class i know a lot of people whine about how hard her class is, but honestly learning isn't supposed to be easy. Her teaching style prepares you for all other UC/CSU classes.

My only wish that we didn't waste so much time on finding areas & volumes...Chapter 6 is not that difficult. Then maybe there would have been more time for the end of chapter 11.

Class was easy, teacher was cool, do your part and you won't regret it. She is very friendly, patient, and nice. U will get an A easily if u take notes, do ur hw, and study for her exams. She knows her stuff well, and u will learn a lot from her if u study hard. really tough teacher!!! i took her during the summer. but i prviously had taken her for math 39. so i was familiar with her teaching. she is an awesome professor! the funniest and coolest professor ever! i had her for 3 hours and she spent 1 hour a day just on hw. if you really love math and love a challenge, take her!!!

I took her math 2 class last spring and got an A. The exams are pretty straight forward if u do the hmwk, which is mandatory and the quizzes are SUPER easy.. agian, if u do the hmwk. She is really funny, cool, and good at what she does. Prepped me for the UC.

She does not allow calculators for math 1. Not that hard, but if you make stupid algebra mistakes that is what lowers your test scores. Pay attention and study.

Best math teacher I've ever had. As long as you bring a pencil and paper and the book, you are set. She gives you plent of time for homework and on the final, only half of the material she taught is actually on the test. As long as you study and check your work two or three times, you are fine. She is nice and funny as well.

My absolute favorite teacher at Delta. She's funny and does her best to make sure you know the material. She doesn't allow calculators, but that means the tests and quizzes are easier. She's not exactly easy, but if you do the work, pay attention to the lectures, and ASK QUESTIONS you should be able to do well.

Dr. Lindbord is one heck of a teacher! I took her during the summer, and it was well worth it! 3 hour class, 1 hour on hwk and 2 hours of lecture. She gives a million examples and is very clear. DrLindborg is an incredible math teacher,and since I took the class has helped sharpen my math skills.I would say definitely come to SI for help and clarity outside the class and be expected to be on top of all your work. If you put in the hours to pass this course you will do so. Lindborg is funny and very clear expect lots of notes and hard work.

Great math teacher, if your looking to learn a routine and follow steps on a calculator so you can plug and play this is the wrong class. Lindborg makes Calculus fun but you must review the material before its covered in class and if you have learned material previously in another course your expected to know it but if you can do this great class

Honestly Ryan, the SI, is super annoying. He always says our tests are too easy even after everyone fails them. Well you took this class in a regular semester not 6 weeks, it's not easy, and the fact that we all fail the tests except like 2 people does not make it easier.

Best math professor I have taken at Delta College. I am taking Math 39 with her this semester. She is very good at explaining that I understood almost everything she taught. She makes learning math so fun. I love being in her class. Just do your homework, go to SI tutoringher office hour then you will be fine.

Dr. Lindborg is far by the best Math Professor I haven taken. Her Sarcasm is amusing and funny, which is great because most Math professors are monotone unlike her. She gives extra credit problems which are on the test, she provides a lot of help during office hours, and she gives a lot of homework problems ( Which isn't so bad). Great professor!

She's unique. Her lectures are never boring, which is nice because with a subject like math you need someone to keep you interested. Not only is she extremely smart but she's very approachable in and out of class. If you ask a question she takes the time to answer it. Her tests are fair, and if you put in the time, you'll get your grade.

This professor is really helpful. You must go to her office hours if you are having problems and tutoring for more learning techniques. Professor Lindborg is hilarious! May not seem like much, but it's good motivation to go to class and office hours. She explains well, gives lots of examples, and has extra credit on midterms. One of the best professors I've had! Highly recommend! Those complaining about her honestly didn't try or even pay attention. Professor Lindborg is solid!

The class is challenging as would be expected for a Calc 2 class but she is a very good teacher that gives a lot of examples in class of the problems. She encourages you to ask questions frequently. Extra credit on all test (5 pts 10%) that raise grade a lot. Drops the lowest quiz. A lot of homework problems but they are good for practice(10%)

She is though! but great at the same time. If you ask her, she'll help you. She really makes you work for your grade but also gives extra credits! Is not that hard if you really commit to the class and study. She's very smart and funny!!!

Lindborg is an amazing professor. She made math, a subject which has terrified me since highschool, so easy to understand. Her PreCalc class was tough; but if you make it through, you are definitely ready to tackle calculus. I wouldn't recommend her for students that only have to take PreCalc, save yourself the trouble and take an easy professor.

I will say that this class was not easy and I failed my first exam with her and I was afraid I was going to have to drop it, but she convinced me to give it my best because she saw that I had potential and it took a lot of work to pass but I did. She's not an easy pass, you have to work for it but she makes you a really strong math student.

I took an online class with videos and such on MyMathLab. However the interaction I have had with the professor has shown me that she doesnt mind taking the time to help you out. She has always replied to my emails in a timely manner and answered my questions. Even though I felt like I asked questions too much.

A usual math class with homework on almost every single chapter and an exam every single unit. Her lectures are useful, does the problems in front of you and makes sure you take notes. She can be a little hard, sometimes not answering questions for students on Zoom calls, but will help outside of class if needed.

Shes chill and funny. Her tests and quizzes and overall workload are fair and reasonable. She also gives us one extra credit question on tests. As long as you are not completely lazy, I dont see how you could have a hard time with her class. Shes not overly strict on attendance either. Im definitely taking her class for Math 3

She's funny and cool, but she goes a little too fast on the topics, so you need to study a lot before her lectures to get the hang of it. You also have to speak in her class if you want to learn. She asks, but in my class, only a few of us asked questions. Tons of class work and hard tests with no extra credit or calculators allowed. Overall good.

Linear Algebra was tough, but manageable. She says that proofs are the hardest part of the class for most students, which ended up being true for me as well. Do all of the HW and study before tests and you should be good. Her lectures were interesting and helpful but be prepared to spend some time listening to unrelated tangents. Back to the ranch!

Lectures can be fast-paced, but the professor is helpful if you ask questions. Do the video quizzes - they really aid understanding. Paired with Unstuckstudy, this class was manageable despite the heavy workload.

It's Calc 2, of course it's not the easiest thing. Of course you need to remember things taught in Pre-CALC, pre-CALCULUS. I'm taking her right now, the workloads not bad, she gives additional youtube resources to supplement and guide your learning. Genuinely one of the better math professors I've had.
