She goes through the material too fast. I learned some things, but really learned how to take her tests and not learn the material. I only studied for a couple of tests and ended up with 89 in her class with a final B for a grade.

This class was so easy. She is a great professor. Test are extremely easy and you get to use your notes for some portions. If you don't get an A++ in this class something is wrong.

Excellent in every way! You do have to take a lot of notes which are mostly copying what she writes on the board. This seems to be a good way of remembering the info. Many rate her easy, but I think that is mostly because she teaches so well. Also, very charming and interesting person.

She makes it fun, interesting & EASY! This is a very light class, it hardly takes effort. The notes you take in class are all you need for the tests (which are very easy), it only takes about 1/2hr to study to earn a 100+. This class was very enjoyable! She is very down to earth, & funny. The best teacher i've had in MCC. Alot of notes but she adds a great sense of humor into almost every lecture. In addition, she gives out loads of extra credit. If you don`t get an A in her class, its because you not trying. Its a teacher i recommend everyone to take.

Definetely one of the best teachers I've had so far. You can't screw this class up if you show up everyday and spend about 30 minutes studying the homework before the tests. She offers LOADS of ex. credit for every test, about 20% of your test grade can be ex. credit. Get an A and skip the Final. Extremely interesting whether you like PSY or not.

Take notes, show up to class, and study. The tests are easy and you can use your notes during the last 15 minutes of the test. It's a fun and exciting class! She's a great teacher! The final is a fun project, so this class is hard to fail. There's plenty of extra credit, too.

This is my favorite class. Tomasso is very helpful and classes are interesting. Gives you EASY extra credit for each test and lets you use notes and book for 15 mins on tests. If you have perfect attendance she will drop your lowest test grade and if you have an A in the class you don't have to take the final. Awesome!

Nice lady, can be funny and sometimes she's animated...but TONS I mean TONS of notes, you can use them on the last 15 minutes of your exams....if you get a A in her class, no final...The Jumpstarts (homework that counts as a combined quiz grade) are a nightmare, very tricky! I had to drop out of this class due to personal reasons but when I get back to school I'm taking it again. This teacher is amazing. She is so sweet and understanding. Her tests are a little hard but just take all the notes and study. I enjoyed this class and can't wait to take it again with her!

I took Professor Tomasso for DEP2004 and PSY2012 and she is the BEST teacher I've ever had. She makes her classes REALLY interesting, has a passion for teaching and a passion for what she teaches. She works with you if you need it and if you do the work and study a little bit it's an easy "A."

BEST PROFESSOR IN THE PSY DEPARTMENT. the whole class you she writes verbatim what you need to write down. those notes are used on the test. you get "jump starts", about 15 T or F questions based on reading the chapter as part of your grade. the first couple of tests are no notes. than after them you get to do the tests on angel.

AWESOME PROF! If you do not get an A in this class then you are an idiot and do not need to be in college! She gives very interesting lectures and the notes are almost word for word what is on the test. Hardly any homework and tests are all online which is fabulous! She is also very lax when it comes to class time which is nice at 8am.

Easy A! If you take note you will pass her class with flying colors. You have to go to class everyday. The note taking is a must. Test were done online with an hour time limit and where straight from the notes and you have to pay attention to the stories and examples in class but overall a really easy class! You learn a lot.

Amazing teacher that makes everything incredibly interesting. I love how she writes on the board, instead of Power Point. It makes you much more engaged in the lecture. She's incredibly passionate, and an amazing person as a whole. Her kids are lucky to have such a cool mom.

Without a doubt Tomasso is an outstanding teacher, I loved her and her lectures! I love this teacher! Take her! Tests are online and if you write EXACTLY what she puts on the board, you will get an A on the tests. I do recommend using a laptop to take notes because there are a lot of them and it's easier to sort through for the test.

Highly recommended this Professor. She is a Phenomenal teacher and does make you work hard but you will learn a lot about the behaviorist and their theories. I also had Professor Tomasso in the classroom for PSY 2012 and was amazed...she brings the material in her courses to life. A must take for any potential Psych majors. Wish she taught at USF!!

Great instructor. Very quick with responding to emails and grading. If you're taking this as a 5-week course, prepare to spend some serious time reading and doing assignments because it does get quite intense. No reason you can't get an A if you put in the time.

This was an 8 week blended class. We met 3 times (including initial class) everything else was online. She puts out a majority of the work on day one, so if you have the time you can work ahead. I enjoyed her lectures. She really knows the material and is very inspirational. I highly recommend.

Mrs. Tomasso is an amazing instructor. Each class is to the point, you usually get out earlier than planned, and she's responsive to any concerns you may have either during or following class. Participation matters, but not to the extent where you have to step out of your comfort zone if thats an issue. Take notes, and it's an easy A.

Amazing prof. Super fun and kept us awake even though it was late. A decent amount of hw but not difficult. Tests are taken at home. LOTS of extra credit. Get an A and you dont have to take the final. Super sweet and caring. Textbook stuff is required to pass tests, true/false questions, easy multiple choice quizzes. Be sure you can be in class.

A decent amount of homework, mostly busy work. Assignments are broken up by the week. About 4-5 assignments per week. A single online exam at the end that is based solely on in-class lectures (ez). The class is very easy and she even acknowledges it. Lectures are all about babies and development (her background). Tomasso is super nice too.

Took the 8 week accelerated online course. As long as you read the required chapters each week, the assignments are a breeze. If you don't get a good grade she will give feedback and let you resubmit. There were 3 mandatory lectures but her passion for teaching showed and they were so much fun. I can't wait to have her for DEP2004!
