I loved her. i took her for a flex class, so we only did two essays. but she helps greatly with them, and lets you re-do a bad grade and takes the average of the two. all the tests had the exact same material in them! so if you got an A on the 1st one you'd get an A on the rest. gives a review sheet b/4 every test and goes over everything many time

Mrs. Bravo is very young and cool. She makes funny powerpoint notes to make the material interesting. She goes out of her way to get people interested and involved in her class. She doesn't exclude anyone. She does require you to put forth effort and attendance is critical, but I mean that is to be expected, right?

She is a very passionate and clever teacher. I extremely enjoyed her class, it was easy to pass, and I actually liked attending. I am waiting one semester so I can take her for COMP II.

This professor was a great way to get my friday's started she has never been in a bad mood her lectures are extremely fun she is a total must for your beginning college career.

Susie is a wonderful instuctor. There is never a dull moment in her class. I had a two hour 1301 class with her and I never once felt bored. She is so sweet and very good at getting across her point. Her tests are exactly like the reviews. She also gives you three weeks to write each paper. I wish she was teaching 1302, so I could take her in 2010!

I enrolled in this class in the fall of 2013 as a Flex 2. I saw the ratings and comments here before enrolling and everyone here is abselutly right! She is a very plesant and energentic with a positive attitude. She has a great humor and makes you feel comfortable. Very helpful and gives good feedback on assignments.

She has a great sense of humor and makes class fun. I had her for 1301&1302. I specifically waited until I could have her for 1302 before taking the class. All but one assignment builds on each other. The last is group project. She's also extremely helpful. If you have a problem, even if it's not class related, she will go out of her way to help.

Her class is really easy. I took her for ENGL 1301. You just have to do your work. We had three essays with homework pertaining to them in between and a final presentation at the end. I am not a good writer, but she is good at breaking down an essay and helps your write better. All in all, she is the best english teacher I have ever had.

I really enjoed her class! There aren't a whole lot of papers, but the ones we do are pretty thorough. She's very helpful and her lectures are always really fun but you get all the information. I waited until I could get Ms Bravo for a full 16 week semester, and I'm glad I did. I liked her from the minute she walked in the room - although I thought she was another student! She is clear, funny, concise. Gives easy grades - mostly for something done in class. Grades aren't posted fast enough for me. Extra time for assignments if needed!

I took her for comp flex 1 and comp2 flex 2 and she is honestly great. For comp 1 you get like 3 essays but she gives you an easy outline to follow to make the essays not hard at all. No homework and her final exam test she gives a review that is basically the test. I recommend her to anyone but be quick because her classes fill up really fast.

She is a great teacher, she makes some light-hearted jokes, keeps the class engaged with fun activities and gives really good feedback on your assignments. The class is fairly easy because the teacher is nice, caring, and gives great feedback and helps you through the process.

English Comp II in Spring 2016 and she is amazing! If you struggle with writing she will make it easy for you to understand your own diction and syntax of writing. She shows you not only how to write well but to interpret implicit and explicit meanings of messages. Also if you have other papers you are writing for other classes she loves to help!

I took Ms. Bravo for Flex 1 English and it was probably one of m easiest classes. She gives notes every class period and is very exact on what she wants. You also get a sample essay for each assignment. If you do whats asked you will pass the class. There is a final presentation. Overall not a lot of hw and I would take her class again!

Bravo is Fantastic, stays on schedule of thing has strict deadlines that you know from the beginning of the semester. Easy A as long as you do the work she is helpful during workshop that is not mandatory.. very understanding when life happens and you miss class just email her. Overall GREAT experience

Profesor Bravo is AMAZING. She makes the lectures fun and easy. There were no major exams, just 3 essays and the final. I toon this course online over the summer and she was accesible all throughout the course. 10/10 would take again!

I took Professor Bravo for the 2020 Spring semester, and I'm so happy I did. She truly cares about her students and wants nothing more than for you to pass. She incorporates her personality into the class which makes for a good ice-breaker, and its because of her that I no longer have a strong fear of writing essays. Please take her!

Professor Bravo is an amazing professor because makes sure students have all the material they need to succeed and she has a very clear grading criteria. She also makes her information fun (in the syllabus she had Emperor's New Groove memes).

Very clear of expectations and clearly takes time to set up online modules to make sure you have the information you need.

Professor. Bravo is THE BEST! She would definitely be my #1 pick if I had to recommend any English 1301 prof. She gives really great notes that are easy to understand and you only have to write 3 essays for the entire semester. Her final was super easy too! Take her if you can, it's an easy grade!

Professor Bravo is such a sweet, caring ,and funny professor! Attendance is graded and her lectures include all the information needed to pass with an A. She offers optional early feedback on all essays and she will tell you exactly what you need to do to get a perfect grade. She also gives opportunities for extra credit. If you can, take her!

Professor Bravo has to be one of my most favorite professors in all the courses I've taken. Highly recommended to those who struggle with writing. She clearly explains different processes, methods, and formats. She goes over quizzes during class so it's pretty impossible to fail. She made me love writing again!

If you're taking 1301 English, you want Prof. Bravo as your teacher. She's funny, super helpful and explains everything very clearly. Probably my favorite teacher I've had at NVC, it's a shame I couldn't have her teach my next English class.

Prof. Bravo was my first prefoessor in college and honestly was the best first impression. Her class was very simple and her lectures were easy to understand. I took her class as a flex course and still thought it was simple. She does quizzes in class with you, so there's no reason you should fail.

Took her again for 1302 Flex. It was more of a refresher course from 1301. Still requires 3 major papers but same as before, just ask for help and she will provide it. Gives you straight feedback on your papers and allows you to submit them early for feedback to fix it. Make sure to participate in discussions and quizzes

I am not one to write papers but professor Bravo made it so easy to knock out a 4-5 page paper! I HIGHLY recommend and she makes class fun! She's one of the best sequels !! IYKTYK

AMAZING PROFESSOR. 10/10. 3 Essay's but take early feedback and do everything she says on it and you will pass. Easy grammar quizzes, no time limit. Use everything she provides because it will be on the final, which is also open note! She is so understanding, and wants you to be successful!

She was an awesome professor to have. Was very clear from the beginning what was expected of you. She was also very responsive to emails and answered any questions I had. Also available weekly via zoom to answer questions. She made this class easy for me.

Absolutely adored her. I took her Flex I course (without knowing lol) and did not have any trouble at all. I am someone who struggles with ADHD and procrastination. She does not accept late work unless you have a valid excuse and have proof. But, her assignments are honestly so easy and you could do them last minute without any difficulty.

There are lots of notes, videos, and resources to help with the assignments. Three big/main writing assignments, 6 discussion boards, and 10 quizzes. Final is just like the quizzes previously done. All are pretty easy to do. She is always available to answer questions or help you. You always have like a whole month to do the writing assignments.

both classes i had her in were flex, 3 essays: 3-4pg/ 1st, 4-6pg/ last 2, were due for each. if ur a decent writer, the papers are extremely easy to write, and if ur not, she'll help you become one. lectures were spent learning the material which she covered well, she answered any questions and delivered solid answers, and overall is a great prof😊
