You hear so much bad things about statistics, but i was very lucky to have her as my teacher. she teaches from the text book as well as take the initiative to make extra chapter questions for students!

Svetlana has a good heart and high expectations. She loves statistics and wants to help all her students to love it too. She pushes students to always do better. She works through examples from extra handouts as well going step-by-step through homework problems. Sometimes she goes too fast and is dissapointed when students ask her to slow down.

Great teacher, she is so helpful. She does have a bit of an accent, but not strong enough that you can't understand her. Take this class if you want to pass.

She is a very thorogh and good teacher. Her teaching skills are calculator based. She encourages you to ask questions and makes time if you want to meet with her individually. She has a bit of an accent but most of all I found her to be freindly and funny.

Amazing teacher... teaches all the concepts in depth so you know what you're doing and not just doing it. The best way to describe her teaching skills is that she could teach an actual monkey math.

If you're taking any math course, make sure you get Prof. Nekhai. I like what one of you commented - you will not regret taking her class. Her humor takes a little while to understand, but she is one of the funniest teaching in Seneca.

First off shes a really good teacher & i absolutly hated stats & just did not get it.She really explains everything clearly,if you dont get it she goes over it.I would understand how to do it in class but get so confused when trying to apply it on a test, if you can get her shes pretty good. Shes unintentionally funny too which is great.

She is a very very sweet lady. I did BAB110 and BAB210 with her. Even though she isn't very tech savvy, she tries her best to explain everything. If you ask her 100 times the same thing, she will find 100 different ways to explain it to you. She just wants to make sure you understand. If you pay attention, you are good to go.

Please do not hesitate to have her as a teacher; she cares about the student. If you follow her advice, you will succeed. Great teacher, and she is happy to explain things 100 times. Few teachers can be flexible like her.
