Great teacher! You need to pay attention and study but he makes the class fun. Very easy if you just show up and pay attention. All of his tests are powerpoint and taken directly from the notes so you need to be sure that you are in class for lecture.

DEFINITELY THE BEST TEACHER!!! Very funny, very helpful, and really knows his stuff! I highly recommend him. He is the best in the A & P department! Don't need to buy the book b/c he doesn't use it. His powerpoints are very detailed w/ lots of pics. I'm not saying that you don't have to study, but I am saying that you actually LEARN what u study!!!

This guy is a genius, and not only that, he can actually teach it too. So interesting, he actually studies with you in class until everyone gets it. His philosophy of teaching is unlike any other... it is refreshing to get a teacher this wonderful. You can't help but want to do well!

He's amazing and so sweet! He's hilarious! He is somewhat difficult to understand, but you will get used to it. He usually will actually say something and let u know it will be on the test, but it's difficult to keep up and write all the notes when he does that and his powerpoints are usually REALLY loong. Awesome teacher...I got an A and didn't even open my A&P book...I went right off his notes. He's really helpful and accomodates everyone the best he can. Humayun, has a strong accent, but he is a very helpful teacher he will go out of his way to make sure you understand. Your book isn’t needed everything you need to know is on his powerpoints. If you print them out and take notes during his lecture you’ll do well.

Excellent teacher. Uses practical application to explain a concept. I learned so much. His tests are so simple. He is kind, understanding, helpful, cheerful and a great speaker!

The best teacher ever! He makes A&P easy to understand and fun to learn. He is not just there to collect a paycheck, he wants his students to understand the material, but remember you still have to study, this is still A&P. He uses power point slides and gives his students the power points to study from. Books are not needed. He is also very funny.

Thi guy is Genius, you don't want to take a class with him because he is really not an organize teacher. I found myself take ANP 1& 2 with him, but both semester couldn't be more stressful because his tests are confusing. I don't know why people keep saying he's a good teacher, i would say he used to, not any more .

WOW! Is this guy something! He is wicked smart and can answer ANY question. Every time I went to class I left there with things I WILL remember for the rest of my life! Lectures are ALL POWERPOINT and he gives them all to you in the beginning. Not too organized and doesnt keep a schedule at all! But a DEFINITE teacher to take while you are here!

This is a great teacher. He is very informative and knows a lot. He is helpful and does have test that are somewhat easy but not if you dont study. There was a few that I did not do well on because I thought I had it! Those Twisty treats can get you everytime. He is a great teacher and if you need A&P Take him. You will learn alot. By far the best man on earth. Greatest asset to SCC without a doubt. Very hard to say goodbye and move on with having in twice, for anatomy 1 and 2. This class requires you to study there's just no way you'll pass but he makes everything so clear and knows what he talking about. Dr. H is the BEST!!!!!!!

wow not sure whats wrong with the last post but, Dr. Humayun is the greatest. He is a Doctor who knows his stuff and teachers above and beyond what is required for us to know as Nurses. He certainly treats everyone fairly and shows no favoritism at all. Attend class and study, this was the best class ever, we all were sad when leaving his class!

Awesome professor. I have learned so much from him. We use the internet often to really understand certain terminology or concepts. I love his analogies and funny stories that help solidify our knowledge of the subject. His class is NEVER boring. I would recommend him over and over again. Great job, Arif!!

Will be taking in Spring for A/P II. Excellent. Extremely knowledgeable (he is a doctor). Does his job well; provides what is needed. A/P requires a certain time commitment for study time, study adequately and you will do very well as his student. Watch out for those twisty treats! He will prepare you well.

Easiest class ever. You don't even need to buy the book, but you do need to attend class. He is a wonderful teacher and kept me captivated throughout the course, and if he didn't have time to go over something in class he would just give you the answer

The single best class that I have EVER taken! Dr. H made the class INTERESTING and i actually learned more in this class that any other! Amazing teaching style! YOU must study, but if you do you WILL pass. He isnt one of those professors who give you information that isnt on the test. Im sad he doesnt teach everything ; )

Great Teacher and very interesting. AP is very interesting and provides everything you need in order to pass test with ease. No tricks and provides extra poitns. I wished he taught more classes and currently getting his license as a doctor. Very good teacher. His class fulls up quick and if you get in you will know why.

i ADORE professor humayun. he applies hilarious stories to body concepts making them easy to remember. if you come to class, take extensive notes, and study ONLY those notes then it is IMPOSSIBLE to get anything less than an A. he'll repeat any material as often as necessary and will stay after class to go over anything. best teacher at ssc!

BEST TEACHER EVER! Took him for AP1 & AP2. Take good notes and ask questions. He explains things so that they relate to real life. He makes it absolutely impossible for someone NOT to understand his course. Takes the extra time to answer questions and makes the subject crystal clear. I wish I could take him for more science courses. ;)

Helloooo, ladies and gentlemen! That is how he would greet the class everyday. I love his class. While going over the material he remind us of the real work place setting and that we must know details in order to provide the very best care. You must give your undivided attention and take extensive notes. Ask questions if don't understand a concept.

I will never forget him. I took Dr. Humayun for A&P 1&2 over the summer. He applies all of the information he gives you to real world situations so you will remember them. Just take notes and study the pictures on his powerpoints and it will be an easy A.only downside he's a little disorganized and tends to be late everyday.

Strongly recommend, especially for nursing candidates. He is experienced military physician, completely honest. He is especially good at connecting text with disease & treatment. Dr. Humayun is highly cultured & a charming individual.

This Professor was the greatest teacher that I have ever had. His classes are extremely informative and very entertaining. It is mandatory that you attend every class as it consists of taking excellent notes. It is also a privilege if you can get into his classes because they fill up right away. Professor Humayun is a funny and clever guy---However, his class lacks organization. If you live by a syllabus and set test/quiz dates then you will not like this class. He doesn't announce test and lab practical dates until the last minute. Very annoying.

Prof Humayun is the best professor I've had since I've been at SSC. I am a nursing student and the other science classes I've taking have been very challenging. Prof H knows his stuff and is willing to help you in any way! I wish I would have taken him for all my science classes! HE IS AWESOME! TAKE HIM!

Professor Arif is an AMAZING Professor. I took him for summer term A & B. This is my 1st short term class ever, and I was able to earn a B and A in his class.Professor prepares you for the medical field along with everyday life. Record his lectures and listen to them along with attending class AND YOU will earn an A. Take him if you can!!!

This professor is so respectful and He's a gentleman, that has been raised well by his parents. He's not good with being on time, but he makes up for it in class. His teaching skills are crystal clear and he doesn't move on until every student understand what he's teaching.

I took professor Arif for A&P 1 and 2 this Summer and was able to get an A in both classes. He's extremely helpful and has a unique way of teaching that makes the subject easier to relate to. In order to get A's in both classes, I studied daily! But if you put in the effort, you will do very well.

Arif definitely makes you earn your grade, but makes class very entertaining, equating everything to a love story. Seriously awesome instructor with a horrible penchant for tardiness, however he has a way of keeping your interest start to finish. Take him and you won't be disappointed!

This is the only review I've done here, because he was just that good of a professor. I took A&PII in Spring of 2013, and he made it both easy AND memorable. Study the notes you take in class (definitely make it to class!) and the notes he gives you. The baseline knowledge I gained has been invaluable in helping me with graduate pathophysiology.

Such a good professor and human being! He knows soooo much and will go out of his way to help you learn. No question is ever dumb, he will draw a picture if you need it. 4 tests, a few quizzes. He prepares you so well, if you study, and dedicate just a bit of time you will most likely earn an A. I am so happy i took him, he has changed my life.

This is one of the BEST professors I have ever had. He is tardy to every class, but his teaching style is awesome. Uses a lot of analogies. Will go over until everyone gets it. Wow. He is just almost perfect. Basically, you don't have to buy any material and class is stress free. He is an intelligent Pakistani guy who will help you learn and have fun while doing it. If you put it in the work, you will get a good grade. He is the best! You have to write a short essay and do a short presentation.

This was an Easy "A" Although i received a high B due to the fact that i failed the first test being the reason for personal purposes . im not good at science but him being my professor made me feel like an expert. i strongly agree you take this easy "A" Class really a GPA Booster.

Arif was a really good teacher! I took him for A&P1 and would take him for any other science class! He explains things at a good pace and doesn't mind explaining something again if you don't understand. He's really laid back and understanding. Don't need book b/c he gives you all the powerpoints you need to pass. Study and you'll be fine!

This is an easy course and you won't need your book at all(I studied my notes and his power points). He is always late but it never bothered me since I am not a morning person myself. He doesn't really look to much at attendance but if you aren't there to take notes it will back fire. Keep log of your grades since he doesn't use Canvas.

Prof. Humayun is very funny, very caring teacher. As others said- he will be late almost always, and don't waste your money on a textbook. Show up for class because he will lecture all that you need to know for the tests/lab practicals. I did poorly on a test due to missing a class, even though I studied the book. Otherwise made A&PII easy.

The best professor and person in the entire world!! He is hilarious and teaches things in a way that you cannot forget it. He made anatomy so easy, no wonder the class gets filled so fast. He will guarantee you that you will succeed. He is passionate about his job and sharing his knowledge to everyone and will answer every question you have fully.

He has this way of teaching that helps you memorize what is needed. He is funny and willing to go above and beyond for you if you care! I took him for AP1 A session i liked his teaching style so much i signed up for B session as well. He prepares you REALLY good before tests and lab practicals. Professor Syed is very good at what he does, he really teaches well and tries his best to help students. I took him twice for A&P 1&2 and loved each semester I was in his class. He gives very helpful and knowledgeable advice that helped me to this day. I would take Professor Syed again if I could, but I cannot.

Simply, he is the best. He takes what is important for your field and focuses on it. He doesn't force you to learn everything, but solidifies the important things. Only a few tests and practicals of which he prepares you 150% for. Very understanding with attendance and will go above and beyond to help you learn! Lectures are engaging and fun.

Loved this class! He is down to earth, straight forward. You know exactly what to study for, very few surprises if any. He is very caring and wants his students to learn. He stays after to help you, and is very accessible outside of class. He does run late, so if you are his first class, you will have a little wait time, but the wait is worth it!

P. Humayun is the best. He really cares about his students and all he wants is for us to learn and succeed. He is very kind and accommodating and I really enjoyed going to class. However, each unit has a lot of information and you have to do a lot of studying to succeed. He does not use mastering but his own material that he's cultivated over time.

If you want to have the best proffesor in the world then definitely take his class. I could learn every subject with him and be perfectly ok with it. The professor is a medical doctor and is extremely knowledgeable. As he traverses through a concept he interjects it with medical conditions and daily events which makes it very interesting and easy to learn even the toughest concepts. Best professor! I took him for both AP1+2. He taught from a medical perspective and exactly what you will encounter in the hospital but in such a hilarious unique way. It is not hard to do well in his class because of his many resources, study guides, and amazing lectures! I learned so much in these two classes and cannot recommend him enough.
