Professor Im was great! I highly recommend this class. He allows you the opportunity to replace an exam grade with a final project. His lectures were clear and informative and his tests were based off of the lecture. I would absolutely take another one of his classes.

Professor Im wants the very best for his students. He responds quickly and detailed to emails. His class is very organized. You have to do a few discussion posts a week, a midterm, final, and a final paper. The exams are not proctored and open note, book, and google. Take this course over summer or online. I would 100% recommend Professor Im!

I enjoyed this Professor's teaching style! Throughout the summer course, we had daily lectures that were very interesting. The discussion board was a tool that helped elaborate more on the subject matter, along with keeping the material fresh on my mind. If you apply yourself, you will do well in this class.

Great professor, Gives the opportunity to learn from different perspectives, can be awkward at first because his style of teaching requires you to answer questions in class and he'll wait until someone gets it right. 3 Open Book Tests, One final paper, "Required" attendance.

He does well in notifying you when you have an important due date and gives you many opportunities to make up for a bad test grade. Very easy class if you put in some effort! Requirements are clear and straight forward, very systematic each week. Lectures are interesting & engaging and copies of the slides are provided. Attendance and posts are required weekly or biweekly and open to students discretion. Professor keeps the students engaged, provides great feedback, and encourages students every step of the way.

This Professor tests are based off of his lecturers. We had to submit discussions based off our lectures. Would take more classes with this Professor. Open notes on tests. One final project due at the end of semester.

There are very few assignments so participation points and the exams hold a lot of weight for your grade, however just due to the open note style it really is difficult not to do well if you put it in some effort.

By far one of the best professors I have had at SHSU. He is extremely kind, caring, and helpful. He really does care to help students out and pass the course. No textbook. Lecture heavy (but highlights important parts). Open note exams. Only 3 exams and discussion boards are what is graded, so make sure you study well for his exams!

Taehoon prepared video lectures as well as power point presentations for all chapters. Attendance (checking in) for on-line class as well as participation in discussion boards counts towards your grade. 3 exams were open book/open notes but you have to know material and where it exists. Final paper. He is concerned about his students. Take him.

This professor is great I had him for his very first semester and he did a great job. Exams are verbatim from lecture. Love that he gave us the opportunity to replace our lowest exam with a small project. You must participate is discussions its where he takes attendance form. I you give effort and try you will pass this course with a good grade.

This was Professor Im's first semester teaching at SHSU, but his class was great! Only 3 exams given and a final paper. ALL OPEN NOTE! Can also do a presentation on your final paper to gain some bonus points/make up points. Lecture slides are provided and are very clear. Highly recommend this professor!

I took an online summer course. There were 3-4 lectures videos every week and weekly discussion boards. Participation in weekly discussions is a big portion of your grade. We had a mid term, final exam, and short paper. The professor was very responsive to email and helpful. The material on the exams came straight from the lectures.

I took this professor for a 5 week summer course online. He would post engaging lectures and have us do weekly discussions for participation which is really important in his class. We only had two exams and one paper for which he provides clear instructions and he was always accessible outside of class. I would really recommend others to take him!

I put yes for 'uses textbooks?' but its more like if you need it, it's there. Lectures were very informative and he uses real life examples which helps with understanding, and he makes the lecture slides available also. Participation is important but it's discussion board stuff, so it's not hard. Great professor all around, I highly recommend.

Professor Im has great communication especially for an online course. Grading is very clear and easy as long as you read the syllabus. I wanted gladly take him again. I enjoyed his lectures too.

Participation is very important to Professor Im. He was very helpful when I needed a one on one with him. Listen carefully to his lectures...test material is from his lectures since you don't have to get the book for his class. Great Professor, he cares about his students!!

You can tell prof Taehoon cares about his students. The biggest thing is participating in the discussions, if you are very active it is more likely you will get the grade you want. Tests are open note but he writes them himself. 1 paper at the end of the semester with an optional video to take the grade of a test. I would take him again!

He is a VERY caring professor! He understands life happens and is willing to work with you; he gives you many make-up opportunities. (Taken on Fall) No HW, but 1-2 1hr Lectures weekly. We also had to participate weekly on the Discussion Board, we had 3 Tests and 1 group project (you can do it alone). There's an extra credit optional presentation :)

This Class was not hard I would say 1.5 is about right. He was very professional and did reply to emails in a decent time. His online class was easy due to weekly discussions, and 3 exams with a final group project. This is an excellent class. You will be successful if you listen closely to the lectures, take good notes with the powerpoint slides, and post to the discussion boards multiple times every week. Professor Im's lectures are interesting, and he uses fun YouTube videos to illustrate his points and keeps you interested.

HELLOOO he is amazing!!! Take him without any hesitation. No assignments, only participation during the lectures matter. He grades based on how much you participated and their accuracy. 3 exams; (one replaces the lower scored), and one final research paper (can do with or without team) and that's it! He is realllyyyy sweet!

Dr. Im is a great professor who truly wants you to succeed. The course consists of 3 exams, participation/discussions, and a final paper. There is also a final presentation video that you can complete to bring up your exam scores. If you study the lecture slides/videos and actively engage in discussions, you will do well in the course.

He drops your lowest exam grade out of 3 exams. You must participate in his discussions! That is a big part of your grade. Exams are open note/open book but make sure you still watch his lectures because you can't always find the answers directly in the powerpoint.

This professor is one of my favorite that I have had. There were some blips in the road, but he is a very kind and fair prof. He provides all the info in slides so you do not need to buy the book. He encourages class participation, and there is no busy work. Overall, I learned a lot in this class, and I am happy I took it with this prof.

The Principles of Marketing class with Taehoon Im is amazing! The class itself didn't feel hard or demanding because of how the class is structured. *You actually have to **try** to fail his class.* Every tool you need to succeed Principles of Marketing he gives you on day one. It's entirely on you to follow it.

He requires you to actually listen to lectures and take detailed notes. The test were difficult but they are open note and if you took detailed notes you will be fine. His participation in weekly discussion boards and your final paper hold more weight than your tests. He also drops your lower test grade. Participate you will get a good grade.

Prof. Im's class was actually really enjoyable. I was excited to take this class based on the subject material alone, but Prof. Im's in-depth lectures, engaging assignments, and understanding of his students really makes this class great. Mr. Im Taehoon is a very caring professor who clearly communicates. This class was easy but requires a little bit of effort. Weekly Discussion posts are the homework. This is the second class I've taken with Professor Im. He truly cares for his students and provides everything you will need to pass his class. His class consists of weekly discussion posts, 3 exams and a final paper. The class work is very doable and was one of my least stressful classes. If you need to take marketing definitely take Professor Im!

He did not use textbooks but rather used his PowerPoint presentation. Open book tests, while not hard you did have to study. Had one group project but you could also do it by yourself. When I had questions he responded pretty quickly via email. I liked him and decided to take another class with him this fall.

Professor Taehoon was decent. He grades pretty strictly on the class participation which is worth 25% of the grade. However, the test are relatively easy. Attendance is also another free 10%, so just show up. Final paper at the end of the course.

The class had very few assignments; there were two tests, a final paper, and a discussion board every week. Instead of setting a clear minimum number of posts and replies necessary to get a good grade on the discussion boards, he ranked each student. Your grade could be determined by other students' participation.

Professor Teahoon is such a great professor who genuinely cares about his students. I think he made the course very simple and easy to pass. As long as you participate in the discussions and listen to the lectures you will pass the class! He also goes to the extent of giving extra credit.

Dr. I'm was an incredible professor. Any time I had any issues or difficulties, he would respond to my emails in minutes. He is incredibly helpful and wants his students to do well in his class, which isn't common in many professors. If I knew any other courses Dr. Im was teaching, I would take them in a heartbeat.

Overall, this professor is very good. He's pretty generous with his grading. Even though there are a few assignments, participation makes up a big portion of the overall grade.
