Amoo is the man. Doesnt take attendance but should go to class. Everything he teaches is on the test. If you know how to mult. and divide you got an A. He give all the formulas during the test and for the most part curves...Hes funny and lets outearly

If you are dumb enough not to study then of course the exams will be difficult. Amoo is very cool and he makes the funniest comments. He is very sincere when he expresses himself and wants his students to do well. Very helpful guy. STUDY. Go to Class, and you will do OK.

Impossible to take all the notes and not necessary. Its all in the book. Dont try to keep up, just listen, youll get more. Anything you dont get ask or read later. Fairly easy class, possible to get an A, but that would be really difficult.

ok. A is DEFINATELY possible, and NOT difficult whatsoever. all u have to do is invest SOME time and read the chapters. I didn't do anything except read the chapters and do like 2-3 practice problems the night before the exams and got 102 and 110 on 2 tests.

Amoo is actually the best professor in BC's business department. He is the only professor who help you connect knowledge gained to the work place. Once who listen and study you get an A.

Really good, didn't get my grade yet. But prob. will be getting an A. Pretty easy if u work w/ the cd-rom before the tests. Practice problems from each chapter for help. He uses powerpoint and hardly writes on the bkboard three easy hw's u need to hand in on time. Attendance not an issue. Accent a little confusing w/ he talks. Overall pretty good.

For someone who is mathematically challenged, I found him to teach with ease and clarity. I enjoyed his style & patience. WORTH IT,if you follow instructions well. GOOD HW&practice ideas.I truly benefited from this Prof.

This professor is VERY easy even for the mathematically challenge. All the answers to the test are in the book if you read it. It is a very easy class and he tends to make it easy. 3 quiz, 1 final and they are not culumative. I got a A in the class and believe me I didn't score perfectly on the tests or quiz.

R all of you talkin about the same guy? He is a wesome! He is clear, easy, and funny. On the test everything comes from his lectures and he even points out the most important stuff. How can you not get an A+?

really easy professor. I don't know how you can do badly in this class if you know basic math.. he explains his stuff really really well even with his accent. i never bought the book or studied anything outside of class. all i did was pay attention to him in class and wrote good notes and got an A

Professor Amoo is a no-nonsense, no humor serious professor who is only interested in teaching Statistics. He is thorough and into his lesson. If you can't make EVERY class then don't bother. The topic is too intense to miss a beat.

This guy is not hard at all and a great teacher. He explains the material very well, took him for statistics and operations management, 2 A's. I sold my textbook in the middle of the term because professor Amoo explains everything sp well that textbook becomes useless and complicated. Take him if you have a chance. Great guy

Project is very easy, but if you have problems, professor is ready to help you. yes, he has an accent, but it is not an issue at all! take this class!

this prof. is great , i just finished stat.1 and i got an A. he explained everything that will be in the exams, all u have to do is to study his notes and the slides. great prof. and very helpfull, higly recommended if u are not a lazy student.

the class is not that difficult. just attend all the classes and study the slides, also use the textbook to work on the problems. seriously take down anything that he writes on the board such as the work problems and definitions. the tests and quizzes are manageable, also there are two projects that involves work problems from the textbook.

Prof. Amoo is one of the best at BC. He explains everything extremely well and most of his exam question come directly from the practice problems we do in class and that he suggest as review. He is very helpful and will go over questions with you if you ask. He also writes recommendations for students who do well in his class. Highly recommended!!:

HE is a great professor i had read the ratings before taking the class and was a little nervous. The course it self is pretty heavy subject and i took it in summer but he really taught a lot and the class was not borring at all. I loved the professor and the subject.I's recommend him to any1 who really wants to learn and get a good grade.

Excellent professor. Knowledgeable and concise.Has an accent which adds some laughs to the lectures but comprehensible. Gives hw project but it is easy. Gives extra credit that is also easy. Exams are very fair and gives curves, follow the problems in class and notes from powerpoints. Didn't read much of the textbook. 2 exams and final.Got an A+.

The beginning of the course might scare you off, but I promise it gets easier if you follow along & study. Professor explains things well, tests are fair, will learn a lot.

Class was fair. Lectures were boring, but for a statistics class I wouldn't expect otherwise. Attendance was optional. He could be funny at times. Altogether, I'm very satisfied with the grading, the exams were fair and there was only one main assignment that he gave plenty of time to do.

Hard materials. Great teacher, makes the class Easier than it is. Must understand the word problems in order to pass the exams. Review his exams by doing the word problems he gives in class and read the chapters ..

This professor is is good he does not force to come to class like other professors that i know. He givesyou enough time to complete your home work assignment. If i had to retake that class i will definattelly choose him.

he is a really funny prof. he makes the boring material he needs to teach and turns it into somewhat interesting material. he always kets u out early and doesn't take attendance. u need to take notes and study for his tests to get a good mark.

The class materials Is hard, but "Word of Advice " review notes, slides, and examples from textbook, Frequently, and you should be okay. Exams are long and hard, but he gives quizzes a wk before to prepare you, (do word problem 1st. On the exams. ) Attendance is not mandatory, Nice guy, and funny.

What people fail to realize is that Statistics is generally a hard class hence why it is 4 credits. He is a great teacher, all you have to do is pay attention to the slides and go to class because if you do miss one class you will fall behind because everything leads into the next subject overall I had a excellent time in his class.

An Statistics class is never easy. This one is not an exception. The main point: if you don't have enough time to spend to study for this class, don't take it. 3 long and hard quizzes, 3 exams (about 30-35 questions and 2-3 problems + question for extra credits), several homework, and one big Excel assignment. Professor gives good explanations.

Stats is a hard class. If you take this class seriously, study, complete all the assignments and extra credit, you will do well. The quizzes are preparation for the exams and are great method of studying. Do the practice questions that he lists in the beginning of the class and refer to the slides and you will be fine. Go to his office hours.

Hes a really good professor who actually tries to explain hard topics to his students instead of just breezing through the topics. Stats is a hard class so no matter what professor you have, you still have to do the work AND STUDY EVER SINGLE DAY. His quizzes and homework helped ALOT for the exams. I would take his class again.

Yes it is a difficult class and like others have said you must study, complete the assignments and show up as much as possible especially later in the semester. He gives plenty of extra credit but he also has little compassion for excuses. He is very funny and seems like a good dude, go to class because the BC tutoring is pretty terrible.

Stats is hard But Prof Amoo takes his time to make sure you understand the material. YOU HAVE TO COME TO CLASS AND PAY ATTENTION. While I don't think he is a stickler for attendance, it is in your best interest to attend every class. He will even let you come to one of his other classes if need be. Great sense of humor so the class flies by.

Prof Amoo takes his time explains everything on the board so we can understand properly thats most important thing porofessors should keep in mind that visual learning is more efficient. He gives extra credits as much as possible 2 quiz 2 midterm and final but dont worry he balanced the % in to portion review his examples and ur good to go

His attitude and calm demeanor makes the subject of statistics even more enjoyable! Very clear syllabus that outlines the composition of a final grade. Tests are relatively easy if you study his review sheet and the FREE textbook. Definitely recommend for anybody that's a business major who needs this class.

i took his online class and honestly it was not bad. he posted everything all materials and book but you had to everything by yourself but homework were helpful and easy. also midterm and final were easy . if you attend his review lecture you would be fine,

His lectures are hilarious as he has a great personality and sense of humor, he makes statistics easier and reviews every single word problem so we can review before the quiz which served as a good review before the exam. Offers plenty of extra credit and is open to curving grades. Highly recommend! However, make sure its an in person class!

Professor Amoo is great. He explains clearly and if you don't understand, he goes it over to make sure you do. Be sure to do your homework and practice questions because the quizzes and exams are similar, there's no surprises. He's fair; some students get upset because they fail to hand in work on time. He gives plenty time to get things done.

Professor Amoo has a great personality. His workload is moderate and he even gives answers to homework assignments at times as well as extra credit assignments. He answers all questions while talking you through the steps. Make sure you study outside of class or else you'll be lost!

not too heavy workload. provides recorded lectures and there a few assignments throughout the semester. his grading does not make sense, I asked him why he took points off or what I did wrong and he wasn't very helpful. but if you keep up with the lecture videos, the class is easy
