Dr. Sebastian is one of the best Chem lab professors. She helps you just as you need it and gives you as much extra points in her capability. I would take her for all my labs if I could.
She is awesome! She answers any questions you have and she really cares about how her students do. Take her if you can!!
Dr. Sebastian is easy going and wants you to succeed in the lab. She noticed our class was struggling with post labs and offered special instruction before labs each week. She is easy to talk to and willing to answer questions. She is also concerned about your safety which is a must for chem lab. Overall a great professor for chem lab!
Dr. Sebastian is a great lab instructor. If you don't understand something she will explain it over and over again and if you need help she is always there too help. She wants everyone to pass, but learn at the same time. She's great!
It seems to me that she truly cares about how well we do in the class. Upon noticing we were struggling due to an awful lecture teacher, she started having extra sessions to help us learn the material and complete the post lab assignments. Highly recommend taking her class.
Dr. Sebastian is truly one of the greatest professors you can take here at Oakland!! Would recommend her for all chem lab classes. She explains each lab before class and is very helpful when answering questions. Probably the best teacher I have had so far in my college career.
she holds a session a half hour before lab starts for anyone who needs help, and is extremely helpful and nice during lab, definitely take her!
Amazing professor! She wants you to succeed and is extremely easy going. When she noticed that the class was struggling with the post lab questions, she added a supplemental half hour before the actual class started to go over things. She genuinely cares about her students.
Amazing teacher!!! Best chem professor i have had so far, unlike the rest at Oakland.
Best professor i have so far!! Had her for both Chem 1 and 2 labs and got a 4.0 in both.
Dr. Sebastian is, without a doubt, an amazing professor! I had her as a professor for Chemistry Lab 1 and as a TA for Chemistry Lab 2. She is extremely kind and helpful, and does an amazing job at guiding students toward the right answer. Also, she explains any concept she teaches in a way that is very easy to understand!
I LOVE DR. SEBASTIAN! She is literally the nicest person ever! So helpful in lab, never looks down at students as they ask questions. Willing to assist students, and genuinely cares about their safety. She wants you to succeed and will guide you if a mistake is made. I cannot say enough about Dr. Sebastian! She defiantly made chem lab fun.
Dr. Sebastian is absolutely amazing. OU is so lucky to have her! I would take any class with her because she's just that great. I'm the type of student that asks a lot of questions and some professors get annoyed by that but Dr. Sebastian would answer every single one of my questions without getting irritated. She helped me a lot and is super cool!
DR. SEBASTIAN IS THE BEST!! She would walk around the class the whole time and make sure everyone was caught up or on the right track. She really cares about her students. I wish she taught other classes I need so I could take her again!
First professor I've seen with 5 stars and the sane compliments. She's okay at best and has a bit of an attitude but can be helpful at time could take it or leave it.
Dr. Sebastian made chemistry lab a blast! She explains everything very well, as the lab instructions tend to be poorly written, and she's super approachable when you have questions. Truly a great lab professor, I'd love to have her as a lecture instructor. Definetly take her! You wont regret it!
great professor and person
This LAB was entirely group based. Loved the prof, hated my group, she saw that and helped me in the class. Cares about students more than a grade, wants you to learn.
Orgo was a very tough subject for me, but Dr. Sebastian's lab made the subject easy to understand. She is very thorough when explaining what needs to be done and the learning objectives of each lab. She cares about each students success in the class and was always available to help. Overall, she was one of my favorite instructors at OU.
The lab I took with Talia was amazing! I have never had a professor for Oakland like her before. She doesn't beat around the bush when explaining the procedures and what needs to be done. I hope that she becomes a lecture professor also so that I have an awesome professor that makes chemistry easy in both lab and lecture! 100% recommendation!!
Dr. Sebastian is a great professor. I absolutely enjoyed being in her class. I had taken her for General chemistry lab. She was very helpful throughout the lab and explained the labs really well. I would definitely recommend a class with her
great teacher! very easy to talk to and helpful!
Dr. Sebastian is by far the best chemistry professor at Oakland University. I took her for gen chem 1 lab and now for orgo lab. I wish she taught for the actual organic chemistry lecture! She is very clear as to how the class is going to go and is incredibly helpful. Definitely take Dr Sebastian if you can! Best prof ever!!
THE BEST professors at OU took. Very Intelligent, , very helpful. Fair grading helps student who seem to struggle. I wish she taught organic/chemistry lecture courses. She VERY CLEAR with content easy to contact, great and interesting personality. overall AMAZING Professor! RECOMMEND FOR ALL CHM CLASSES! TAKE HER!!!
Dr. S was the only good thing about analytical this semester- she should be teaching the lecture as well. She is always super clear in lab and helps you get good results!
Knows what she's talking about, super cool, extremely reasonable, cares a lot, funny, extremely helpful and accessible. 10/10.
Was a good lab professor for analytical. The lecture professor (Not Dr. S) was not good, so we relied on her instruction for lab. Her grading method was reasonable and fair, if you came prepared it was an easy time. Created a relaxed environment in the lab.
Dr S is one of the best professors at OU. She's extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help. The lab is very easy. She should be a permanent lecturer instead of a lab professor. Take her, you won't regret it.
Talia was my lab instructor for this class. What it lacked in a poor lecturer was made up for by Talia. She was very helpful in explaining what was expected in this lab and was a fair grader. This lab is really based on how accurate you as a student can be, not the instructor's grading system, so be careful and you'll 4-point the lab portion.
Dr. S was a great lab instructor. She's very clear on communicating the grading scale and experiments. The lab can be tough, as small mistakes add up and will lower your accuracy and grade, but her instruction and tips helped to minimize error on our parts. She's also very approachable in office hours to explain post-lab calculations.
She is super awesome and chill! She is really helpful during the lab and outside the lab if you seek her help. She cares for you to do well so she gives redos on calculations sometimes. She isn't the most strict with turning in your labs the way it asks which also a plus. Great professor and person!
Dr. Sebastian was the lab professor for CHM 325. She was really great. I learned a lot from her and she provided a lot of insight whenever I had any difficulties on the labs. I would recommend taking her for the lab section of this class again. I would also recommend her become the lecture professor for this class as well.
Unlike many professors, Dr. Sebastian looks at things from the student's point of view and is fantastic at explaining concepts in a way that is manageable to us.
great teacher, helps a lot, and keeps the class entertained
I would recommend this professor. She is always available for questions and is generous with extra credit.
She is a fair teacher who will answer your questions. It is analytical chemistry so it will be graded on accuracy so the grading is tough of the get. But it's graded in a fair range. She is a good professor
I would recommend this professor. She keeps the class entertaining by adding competition for extra credit.
Great professor. Easy to understand and willing to help.
In general this class is difficult due to the small window of error in the lab. However, Dr. S has made this class enjoyable. She is very accessible and willing to help.
Dr. Sebastian explains the lab tasks clearly for all to do well. Very reasonable with grading and will help you out whenever you have a question. Definitely would take another lab with her. Dr.S is simply Super Mega Wicked Awesome.
Dr. Sebastian clearly states lab goals and is always there to give advice and help you approach the problem. She's fair and also knows you have a life out of class and respects that.
Sometimes, it feels like she is unsure about the material, but overall she is great
Favorite Chemistry professor. Would take again in a heart beat. The only highlight of this class.
Dr Sebastian taught the Lab section of Analytical Chemistry for my course. The lecture professor was pretty awful so it was really nice to have Dr. Sebastian in the lab to answer our questions or teach us the material in a different, more logical way. She is a very fair grader. Work hard and you will do well. Dr. Sebastian is the best though
I had Dr S for both Organic Chemistry Lab and Analytical Chemistry Lab and I have to say that she is just amazing. Very helpful and is very clear on what she expects from the students. Very accessible outside lab and amazing at replying back to emails with any kind of question you may have. I would recommend Dr S to everyone that plans this lab!
Dr. Sebastian taught the Lab portion of my Analytical Chemistry Course. She does not require typed lab reports except for one experiment. Also, she is a fair grader and respond to her emails in the same day. Overall she is a great Chemistry Professor.
She is the best lab professor I have EVER had! I hate chemistry but she made the labs fun and easy to understand, by far one of the best professors at Oakland University. If you have the opportunity to take her, TAKE HER... you will not be sorry
Omg she's the bomb dot com, keeps everyone chill and focused. Knows how to handle anything, compound turns purple? No problem. Makes sure everyone knows what they're doing so we can all go home asap. Grades are very fair and extra credit is offered. Very friendly and incredibly helpful, definitely take her section of this lab!
The best lab instructor I could have asked for. She is really easy going and is fun to talk to. Shes an easy grader as long as you show that youre trying and you get everything done.
Dr. S is AMAZING!! Shes very clear about everything, she gives a 10% curve when it comes to quizzes since they are so difficult, she makes sure to thoroughly go through the lab and she thoroughly goes through the post lab. She made an 8am bearable, and if you can take a class with her, make sure to do so! You will not regret it!
Dr. S is the best! The class is a lot of work for 1 credit, but she does all she can to make sure everyone understands things. She always explains the procedure clearly, and she does a great job at teaching the concepts relevant to the lab. It was hard to know what the graders wanted in the post labs, but she was always there to help. Take Dr. S!!
If you somehow have the chance to take Dr. S, do it. You will not regret it at all. So far at Oakland, she is my favorite professor by far. Although some people struggle in her class, it's because they don't put in any effort, not because of Dr. S. If you do work, you'll get an A. The grading criteria is very clear and she'll answer any questions.
Dr. S is awesome. Her lectures will keep your attention. She is very fair and approachable. Great Prof.
Prof Sebastian is the worst professor I have ever had. I was excited to take this class because of all of her good ratings, but please beware that her good ratings were for her lab class and NOT her chemistry one lecture course. The class averages on her quizzes and exams are between 40 and 50%. Exams/quizzes are nothing like homework/book work.
I have never had a professor who has made a course this difficult for me. She creates very difficult exams knowing that the class will struggle with them and most of our quiz and exam average grades have been extremely low. She does not grade fairly when questions are proven to have been unfair and she does not post her power points before class.
Beware her previous positive reviews are from a lab not lecture. She is a terrible chem lecture prof. Refuses to post lectures and goes too fast through slides. Lectures, hw nor textbook are like exams or quizzes, making it impossible to know what to study. 40-50% class average on exams but she does not care to change anything to make it better
I have never seen a professor grade as hard as she does. Do not be fooled. Her test have nothing to do with what she teaches. She got mad for taking pictures of the slides because she doesn't want her students to have them. Different forms of tests are harder than others. Every example she showed was corrected by a student. DON'T TAKE HER!
My favorite course taken at OU was the Orgo Lab with Dr. Sebastian. More for her than the lab itself. She's down to earth, knowledgable, and genuinely cares about her student's learning. As an accepted medical student, this lab greatly prepared me for the MCAT which much of the content from this course appeared on practice exams and material.
The worst professor I have ever taken. The class averages were insanely low and she would just say how fair her exams were rather than helping students. Any other gen chem professor is better than Dr Sebastian. Worst class ever. take any other professor if you can
Honestly, this is the gist: I couldve gotten an easy A if I hadnt tried to skate through. Probably one of the most chill but professional professors Ive had. Only criticism is that the ACS final was much different from the tests she writes so I think she should spend more time preparing the class for that. Very kind and approachable.
Professor Sebastian is very funny at times and provides a chilled classroom. But, she is not flexible in her grading and was not open to discussion with students about her exam averages being so low. I will think twice about taking her again.
When I took the class it was her first time ever teaching lecture so that's were all the bad reviews about her come from. She always curved the exams and even had a makeup exam once. Gives many extra credit opportunities. Her teaching skills for lecture could use some work but she is a very caring. PAY ATTENTION AND DO BOOK & ONLINE HOMEWORK!
She is an absolute gem of a professor and cares about students. The chem dept at OU should realize how lucky they are to have someone like her. She makes herself available to questions outside of class and is very receptive to the students. I couldnt say enough nice things about her.
She doesn't know how to teach and is very disrespectful. Her exams have nothing to do with class material. Take anyone but her unless you enjoy misery.
Doctor Sebastian is a very relaxed professor and offers lots of extra credit opportunities. Very caring and helps with any questions.
I heard about Talia from outside of school. I heard she knows a lot about chemistry but doesn't know how to teach it. After a few months, I agree. She's not Terrible and there's a little extra credit available, but listening to 3.5 hours of recorded lecture is torture. She tries to go above and beyond which just makes understanding way worse.
Professor Sebastian is very quick to reply to any questions or concerns that students may have, however makes the course a monotonous, boring subject that yields very little enjoyment without a prior love for chemistry. Prepare for 3.5 hour+ lectures, quizzes, homework, and attendance quizzes each week. Studying is essential to get a good grade.
Talia is great for in-person labs. I have heard multiple people say she is not great if you try to contact her outside of class and will blow you off, but overall I did well in her class which was half online half in person.
One of the friendly professors that I had. She does explain everything very well. If I got chance then I would take her again.
This was by far the worst professor I've ever experienced and when ever I would ask for help she would tell me everyone has that one class they fail?
Prof Sebastian was a very nice professor and was able to help whenever i needed. she had 3+ hour lectures (which were online) and was very hard to explain all the material. she offers extra credit as well as curves which was very helpful and her final was good based on how much help she provided. a very hard class though. you def have to work forit
Had Dr.S for Gen Chem I Lab (virtual due to COVID) she was amazing! Funny. Keeps it straightforward. Thoroughly explains the ever-complicated lab procedures. Huge curve! Easy A. Lab reports are time consuming, but graded very generously. (I HAVE HEARD SHE IS NOT AS GREAT IN CHEM LECTURE SO BE ADVISED)
The lab reports require time and due dates are incredibly important.
I had Professor Sebastian for Gen Chem 1 Lec/ Lab and she was so great. Just watching her lecture videos alone won't make it easy, but watching them and then spending time doing practice problems afterwards will make you really understand the material. She responds to emails super fast and is really there to help you along the way!
One of the easiest labs I have ever taken. I didnt think I was going to do well in the class since chemistry is not my strong suit but I got a 96%. The class was half online half in person and I definitely recommend her for gen chem lab 1.
I recommend Professor Sebastian for Gen Chem 1. I took her Fall of 2020 and it was synchronous online. She is very accessible outside of class and is very helpful if you have any questions. There is a lot of extra credit. The only downside of her class is the length of the lectures (many are 3.5 hours and longer).
I took Prof Sebastian for GenChem1 and she was an amazing professor. Although fairly long, her lecture were very thorough&had tons of example problems that were super useful for the quizzes&homework. She is super approachable and always willing to help. She made the shift to online learning super smooth and was super organized! Def recommend
I see that most of her ratings are coming from the lab classes. This class is extremely lecture heavy and she does not explain information thoroughly, she rushes through teach the material, she wasn't rude, but she could not teach chemistry to save her life. Her explanations and methods are extremely confusing and HER TEST DOESNT MATCH HER MATERIAL
Ms. Talia is a easygoing professor during this time she is really great with responding to questions quick during the covid era, I just deducted a poitb because sometimes she can over explain concepts and teach in a semi-confusing way, but I recommend you do take her she has alot of extra credit available
I had Dr. Sebastian for CHEM LAB 2 and she was very nice and understanding for labs, she would explain the procedure instead of letting you figure it out for yourself. very good class I recommend taking her for lab!
I loved Dr. Sebastian for Chem Lab 2. Shes so considerate and caring. I got an A on every single lab, just make sure you try your best and ask her questions. She responds to emails really quick. She also lets lab out early. Shes not very strict which is great. Easy A!
I had Professor Sebastian for the Gen Chem 2 Lab and loved her!! This class is group-oriented with 2 or 3 people in a lab group, which makes the class easier to complete and understand. She responds to emails very quickly and gives detailed instructions on the labs. This class is an 'easy' A if you write detailed lab reports and turn in on time.
Sebastian is a great professor. The labs are stressful because so much is going on but she is always willing to help you if you ask. If you follow what she asks for on the lab reports exactly, you are golden, even if you don't get the best data from your experiment. Offers a little extra credit at the end of the semester. I 100% recommend.
Professor Sebastian is kind and willing to help, but she speeds through chapters so incredibly quickly that it's hard to keep up, and if you fall behind you're screwed for any future chapters. There's also a ton of homework, probably 6-7 hours a week outside of studying. Definitely not an easy class, don't take if you've never taken chemistry.
This class is brutal. Homework can take anywhere from 4-10 hours a week. Professor Sebastian offers lots of extra credit opportunities and the lowest exam grade gets replaced with your final exam grade. Goes through chapters very quick, so if you fall behind you're borderline screwed.
This professor is okay. I was kind of bummed by the reviews because she was a lot harder than expected. Honestly didn't think I was going to pass this class, but I ended up with a B (lots of extra credit opportunity so MAKE SURE you do it) She was overall very nice and easy to talk to. I would take her if you're willing to put in the work for it.
Professor Sebastian is a good professor. She gives good lectures and explains concepts well. She also gives plenty of opportunities for extra credit and drops your lowest test score. She is very nice and understanding.
I liked the professor for this class, but this is a pretty difficult class for 1 credit. There is a lot of work involved with each lab report, but I managed to get a good grade so as long as you put in the work, you should do well. Having a good lab partner is also a must for this class as you're working with a partner or group of three always.
I had professor Sebastian for gen chem 1 lecture. While the lectures are long, they really help you on the exams and quizzes. She gives tons of examples and her exams do not stray from the format of her class. If you work hard and study, you will do great!
DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! Not only does she give 3 to 4-hour lectures per week, but she also doesn't even provide study guides for exams. Her Lectures don't even help, the part that helps is the problems she solves in the video. When asked for help, she got mad at us, this is such a hard class even though it's an intro to Chemistry.
Prof. S is great. The lectures are long, but she is always available for help & offers a TON of extra credit (DO ALL OF IT!). You have to put a lot of effort in, but only because the content itself is difficult. She gives you all of the tools you need to be successful (she won't hold your hand), but study, do the extra credit, & you'll do well.
Dr. Sebastian is a very caring person and gives her students every opportunity to succeed. Her lectures can be long winded, but use the textbook and you will be fine. General Chemistry is a hard class. Stop whining and expecting an easy ride. Dr. S will give you every opportunity to receive a good grade, just apply yourself and do the work.
My experience is based off of Online Learning, but I would say that she did the best job possible for online teaching, the videos were good and explained things thoroughly, but they are long so be prepared to sit down for around 3 hours a week to watch. Overall good teacher I would take her again
Professor S is very nice. There are lots of extra credit opportunities. Recorded lectures were long but assigned homework was similar. She offered in person office hours MULTIPLE times a week. She won't spoon feed students and expects them to be responsible about studying.
Honestly a great person. Super funny and easily reachable out of class. This is just a hard class and be prepared to work. She gives lots of extra credit opportunities. Her online lectures did not help much. The book was the best source. Her practice problems are similar to her exam problems.
Exams are pretty difficult, offers up to 30 points of extra credit! Does only one exam drop if score on the final exam is higher than the previous exam. Dr. S is very nice and chill! Lectures were useless only study off the HW and the review guides!
Good professor. Gives lots of extra credit.
Horrible professor!
AWSOME!!! Very clear with expectation, urges you to come to ask questions, EC and dropping 1/4 tests. This class is hard, but she makes it very clear when to expect content to be easy and when more time is needed to succeed. Uses the book for reference but her pp is more than enough to understand. She even posts a recorded lecture online.
She has a pure heart and is funny like the middle school Chem teacher I've had. She has required attendance which is answering survey questions for participation points. She also gives very short exams, (21) multiple choice, but you can't use a graphing calc like TI-84. Goes over lots of examples and gives a 5-10 minute break during half class lec
She is an excellent professor. Your grade is heavily based on the exams and the exams themselves are not the worst. I'm currently at a B and I would say I put about 8 hours a week into this class. I would recommend reading the material prior to class, going to the in person lecture and then re-watching her previous lectures.
Sebastian is a great professor. -Great at explaining hard concepts in simple terms -Homework in done at your own pace -Lots of extra credit -No quizzes to bring down your grade -You will have to put time in outside of class but it is doable (I recommend the Organic Chemistry Tutor on YouTube)
Fun professor and offers a clear path to learn the material. The class is structured so you pass the class even if you're not a rock star on the exams.
Talia is an amazing professor. Gen Chem 1 is not easy but she tries her best to add many points that will bring up your grade. She gives a lot of extra credit and only 1 homework assignment per week. I enjoyed her lectures, she made them entertaining and she is very funny. I would definitely take a class with her again.
love her
Absolutely amazing professor!
Take her for intro chem. very forgiving.
Super easy class with a ton of extra credit. If you go over slides and review calculation problems the exam will be very doable.
Prof Sebastian made lectures funny and enjoyable. There is extra credit through the online homework. Attendance was through survey questions related to the chapter and that counted for points.
Professor Sebastian is a great professor, chemistry is a difficult class for me and she makes it easier to understand. Her lectures are clear and thorough and she records lectures, which is helpful to look back on when i'm struggling. She also provides lots of extra credit and is willing to work with you!
Professor Sebastian is a great professor. When I am unable to grasp concepts, she provides materials that are helpful and is willing to spend extra time to help. She also gives lots of extra credit, and has very clear lectures.
Lots of extra credit opportunities. Can watch lectures at home for attendance credit. Professor was very accommodating and kind when issues occurred.
Dr. Sebastian is amazing. She does many practice problems during her lectures and the tests are similar to the examples. The homework is extremely helpful. She replies quick to emails and is the grading scale is evenly distributed. She gives a good amount of extra credit and made a difficult class easy to understand. Highly recommend.
If the world depended on her teaching abilities none of us would make it, just know that this class is gonna be entirely self taught, we have not had a good lecture yet, first exam the average was a 70 second exam the average was a 50. Some extra credit but just know this will take up ur entire summer if you want to do good. She simply cannot teach
Best professor ever. 1000000% take her.
Highly recommended, be prepared to work and study hard. There is no other way to make it in a Chemistry course. However, Dr S provides plenty of opportunities to do well. There are extra credit opportunities, attendance and homework counts for the final grade. She is very open to work with you and cares, great professor.
She won't answer your email if she doesn't like you. She tries hard to be cool rather than trying hard to help her students pass. Her lectures are slow and boring and never help you understand the material. Her pre-tests have nothing to do with her actual test and they don't help at all. 75% of her class is Exams. Rude and not helpful.
Tbh shes okay, you really gotta put in a lot of work outside the class to be able to do good. All the teaching that she does typically is useless as she does not teach but more of just reading the problems to us without an explanation. she does however have her lectures posted online which is very helpful. Simply, this class is a lot of work.
Be prepared to learn the material yourself because she doesn't have the ability to teach. She gives lots of opportunities for extra credit but she won't reply to your emails if she doesn't like you. Her tests are not similar to what she tries to teach. She gives HW and attendance points, which help. Don't expect to get a grade curve cuz she won't.
Good professor, however the course itself is hard. You must put in a lot of time into chemistry to master it. This however was a summer class so it was much faster paced. Put in the work and youll be fine.
I did not like her. Her lectures are boring and made me want to drop out of school all together. I thought she was speaking a different language half the time during lecture because she would just read off the slides and it literally would not make sense. She does give a lot of extra credit though.
It was okay. Personally, I consider her teaching style very boring and not clear. I mostly had to redo everything myself to understand the concepts. There was lots of homework, but it was really helpful. I struggled with chemistry, so I had to study 8+ hours on weekends to get the feeling of easy problem-solving. She is better than others, though.
Great class!! All chem labs are hard, but she is very helpful so that lightens the load. She goes over exactly what you are expected to do and complete before we start each lab. She is relatable and patient. Some labs have 10-point online quizzes due the week after the lab, quick points if you understood the lab. need to know how to graph on excel!
Would I get coffee with her outside of school, yes, would I ever let her teach me chemistry, no. She is very nice and understanding but impossible to study for her exams, they are made to trick you. Studied for hours and class average on exam 2 was 40%, which she said was not concerning. Material is not on exam! 36 points of extra cred helps!!
she's a very nice person. But she is a horrible professor. She doesn't actually teach, nor does she give any guidance on what will be on the exams. Her exams are nearly impossible, with the class average usually around 42. She does nothing to improve that, or prep you While she offers lots of extra credit, you'll probably still fail if you take her
Her ratings are based off her labs. Exams are absolutely nothing like the lectures. Exam 2 average was a 42% and told us it “wasn't concerning. She does give a lot of extra credit tho. Don't take her please!! It's not worth it. I studied and studied and knew the material and still nearly failed. She's very nice and chill but sucks at teaching.
I absolutely hate chemistry and failed it freshman year with a different prof. I can tell Professor Sebastian cares! Chemistry by itself is a really difficult class but she definitely made it easier by giving tons of extra credit and homework so that your grade isn't mostly based on exam scores. You WILL have to study and read the book to succeed.
She's a very nice professor and offers a lot of extra credit, but you will fail all of her exams. DONT take her if you want to maintain a good GPA.
All the reviewrs are RIGHT!! I passed with an A but that was through miracles. All i can tell u study her Problems on ppt bc exams are similar to these do problems on text book on the back. Her teaching is bad but attending helpful. I SUFFERED ALOT IN HER CLASS AND STUDIED SM 20+hours. She is better than any other professor at OU tho.
all i can tell u is if you dont have a religion find one and start praying, b/c gen chm 1 is so hard no one can prepare u for it.
She's a bit of an interesting professor. Her exams were consistently more difficult than the homework she provided as well as rather short. The class average for the second exam was below 50 and she saw no problem. To me this would be an issue, however, she provided a final exam replacement for your lowest exam grade. the final was rather fair.
