Tamanna has been a favorite instructor for the IT Diploma program, she's always happy and lighthearted in class, loves to crack jokes with students, and creates an amazing classroom environment where I'm excited to come to class! She is also quick to respond when I need help and she's accomodating if you need assistance with anything.

Tamanna is honestly one of my best professors so far. She is really nice, calm, attentive, encouraging, helpful and a great teacher. Tamanna is a wonderful prof!! She makes lectures a lot of fun by promoting participation and using her awesome sense of humour. She also makes sure to go over assignments and labs to make sure that you know exactly what is required, so if you pay attention and are present its quite easy to get a good grade!

She is very helpful whenever you ask for help or getting stuck on questions regarding homework or lab. Shes also very accessible outside of class and could be asked for help with her expertise. Overall, she is a great teacher to have as a Computer Hardware in IT at SAIT. Would recommend!!

Great teacher.

Tamanna was probably my favorite teacher this semester. Her class is based on lectures and then you write reflections. There are also some Powershell labs, staright-forward assignments and projects, the quiz is pretty much just following the commands. I would recommend her as a teacher for IT foundations.

Ms. Malik is very nice person. My advice for the next student, the course is two parts. The first half is so much fun and enjoyable information to learn, but the second half needs to be ahead and practice. The second half includes PowerShell and Linux commands which usually start with heavy material from the other courses, so plan to keep ahead.

This is my second class with Tamanna, and every time I get the chance to have her as an instructor I take it! This class is definitely more of a padding class but I will always show up, participate, and give it my all to try and make her proud :)

Tamanna is one of the nicest professors ever. The class material is kind of boring for me but her humour, kindness, and class interaction makes it easy to listen to her. She also clearly explains what is expected for assignments and gives hints on important concepts that will be on exams so its extremely easy to get a good mark in her class.

I don't generally support online classes, but this particular course lends itself well to the online format. The instructor provides plenty of examples, and the review process is straightforward.

The professor primarily used the slides and the Cisco materials for teaching. She was cognicent in maintaining a balance between lectures and showing videos to the class. She also provided ample opportunities for students to ask follow up questions and was interested in making sure students were engaged with the class and the material.

I WISH we had her for more then just the two classes, I wouldn't have lost so much confidence in my abilities. Her lectures were easy to follow, she did demand participation in class but she worked very hard to have an atmosphere where making a mistake or not knowing the answers was OK. As a beginner in programming, Tamanna is an excellent choice. She took the time to understand the first-semester OOP syllabus to reinforce our Python basics, fill knowledge gaps, and guide us in applying concepts in CPRG 217. By taking initiative and asking questions, you gain a solid understanding of writing and using scripts in IT through her.

Lots of group work, so I recommend making sure your partner is responsible and hard working or else it'll be hard for you. Other than that, one of the easier courses this semester!

Great Instructor, made it clear to students that as long as they know how their scripts work and can explain it, that she doesn't mind students using different methods in their codes which is such a good way for a student to actively learn what they are writing.
