This woman has such a good heart. She is very up front and open with her students and while she lectures. Very well-informed. I recommend her classes to everyone. Her tests can be tough sometimes, but you should be fine if you at least pay attention and participate in class. Thumbs up to her! I would take another one of her classes, no doubt.

Professor Malamuth is a top notch instructor. You DO have to read your text and he lecture outline notes are excellant. Print them out before class and add any notes. She is greatly organized and tech savvy.

I would say the class is cake if you pay attention in class and if you do the study guides (they are the same as the test). I will also be taking her Abnormal Psychology class for fall 2010. I wish I could take her class every semester.

The class is a cake walk it's so easy. If you pay attention, complete her study guides, and go to class, it's an easy A. I am currently taking the class (Fall 2010) and I have never opened the text book yet, we are about half way through the class. She makes the class go by really fast and the material alot easier to understand!!

Coolest teacher ive had. Made the class fun and definitely explained topics good. work isnt too hard in class and the study guides she gives out for tests are really helpful. go to class and study the handouts for tests and youre good!

If you do not pass her class, I don't know what you were doing or where you were for 16 weeks. Seriously. Everything is covered in lecture. Just fill in the blanks, study for ten minutes before tests, and A. In fact, the only thing I did meh on was a group assignment (why do teachers ASSIGN those?). Tamara herself is a sweet lady. Take her class.

Tamara is an absolute sweet heart, I have not a single bad thing to say about her or how she teaches. Very happy and thorough with her lessons. Always willing to help and very down to earth. She's got a good sense of humor too which is always a plus :) I recommended her to my boyfriend when he needed to take the class and would do so to everyone.

Honestly, she is the only teacher I've had worth writing a review for. I love her so much and she only teaches 2 different psych classes right now, but I look both of hers. She really made class enjoyable and there isn't a lot of homework, she just wants you to understand the material. She's really interesting and my favorite teacher I've had!

This class was very boring. There was too many lectures. The study guides you had too look mostly in the book not even in the notes. She is very nice but it made me fall asleep an 1 hour and 15 min class. But she is a teacher that gives a lot of extra credit.

Very helpful teacher! I suggest taking any and all classes with her. She is very helpful. If you do the review & study it the test/quizzes will be easy. Attendance counts as 6% grade though.

I positively adore this teacher! She is so passionate about what she teaches and loves to listen to any feedback we give during notes. Tests are so easy and she gives extra credit pretty freely. I love her Canadian accent and how she pronounces certain words. Great teacher, I'd take her for all psych classes if I could!

Great teach, really interesting class, and she will help you anytime you ask for it. I highly recommend her. Only one little distraction is that she gets excited on how she is teaching, which is great, but at times she talks too fast. But that is small stuff.

Prof. Malamuth has a clear, descriptive teaching style. She works with anyone who needs it. She is very informative, helpful, and shows great enthusiasm for Psychology. From someone who failed the first try at it, I would say that Ms. Malamuth's teaching style was better for me. Class attendance is important; book is not necessary. We NEVER USE IT!

Tamara's class was great! when I put "Skip Class? Your Wont Pass." I mean't that on the test some of the question are from things that she has talked about in class so make sure you show up. It is easy to understand what she is talking about and her lectures aren't boring. I would take her again! Her quizz's aren't that hard just pay attention!

Dr. Malamuth made PSY101 an enjoyable class. 90% of the lectures were very interesting and actually made me want to attend class. Her study guides are just like the tests and doesn't give any homework assignments really. I got a B only because I didn't put effort in the beginning of the semester. All you have to do is try to get an A in her course

She gives a study guide for every test, do the study guide and you'll easily get an A. All tests are only on the last chapter covered, there are no accumulative exams.

This class was cool and interesting to take if you are not sure what Psychology is all about. Professor Malamuth is really kind and will take the time to answer any questions you have about the course. Was minimal homework, just reading the book and study guides, which are really similar to the test. This is a really easy and informative class.

You would love this class , I didnt get an A because I didnt do some assignments. But Everyday you go into her class there is something new and exciting to learn and talk about .Shes very helpful and understanding; ex: I needed to get out of class everyday 5 minutes earlier to get to work on time and she was very understanding about it.

Lectures are easygoing, don't be on your phone too much, she is very nice and helpful and will answer any questions you have. Do the reviews, similar if not the same questions on the test. She prints out all of the slides of notes so that's great!

I love the way Prof. Malamuth taught the class. She is very clear and you fully understand what she is teaching you. I asked questions when I did not understand something in the lecture and felt comfortable doing so. I used an audio recorder to go back and listen to the lecture. Do what works for you to pass the class. Would take the class again.

I started at GCC majoring in film production but after taking just two classes with Professor Malamuth, I will be changing my major to psychology in the fall. She is an amazing professor and made me grow to love psychology so much. She makes class interesting and fun to go to. I definitely recommend taking her classes.

I have a learning disability, told her, she was always willing to help however she can, she would send reminders on quizzes, career advise as psychology is my major, it isn't very homework heavy giving plenty of time for independent research if you really enjoyed the subject (I did) while science isn't the easiest subject for me she was helpful.

I took this class online and she was very attentive--sending reminders of assignments and giving encouraging, genuine feedback! You do not have to purchase a textbook; all the readings are provided in the modules. It is a lot of reading, but she has some video lectures too

Would absolutely take another class with Professor Malamuth if possible. The professor was very communicative and even went the extra mile to reach out to students if we seemed to drop off her radar to make sure our needs were being met. Varied learning opportunities outside of the textbook including audio lectures and youtube videos was so helpful

She's amazing, I took her psy101 class online and she was absolutely helpful even though it was online, always gave back feedback in detail, explaining the correct answer and what you did wrong to help you understand, and always sent out reminders through annoucements and emails about due date, no exams, easy quizes, easy assingnments

This prof. is an easy A. Sit in the back, put a airpod in, and relax! I didn't do the brain model aka final project or the psychology survey (which are heavy points) and still passed with an A. Just show up and do the quizzes and you'll pass.
