Tamara is awesome!

Tamara is energetic, cares about her job, funny, and extremely intelligent about what she teaches. she's approachable for help, and her assignments are challenging yet still reasonable. she makes you remember that you're in college to actually learn.

Nice, easy to work with, though she wants everyone to be a Democrat and feel sorry for minorities. GOP FOREVER!!

Tamara is a great teacher and as a past student I learned so much from her class and also had fun with her humorous ways. She is very helpful and will do as much as she can to help her students if they look for her for help. Tamara is a great person.

You know, she IS a good teacher, but it's like she wants to make sure that you understand that she is God's gift to the world of academia. She is also VERY liberal and even if she says that she's not biased, she will grade you with her liberal ways.

Tamara is a nice person but she does give a lot of work to do outside of class. If you work and go to school, you won't have time for this class. 3 in class essays, 2 essays to do outside of class, 1 group project. Good luck.

SHE IS THE BEST TEACHER EVER! Tamara is so helpful and truely caring for her students. At times may get tough but not hard at all if you do your work and she helps you completly if you seek for the help. When you leave you are guaranteed to learn so much for your future class. Definetly guaranteed.

Tamara is hilarious. She is caring and fun and although you will work and read a lot in this class, it is SO worth it. On a side note, I love her style!

i hated writing, and am glad i never have to take it again, but i miss her. she is a crack-up. and it's very apparent that she really cares about her students and loves what she does. i wouldn't have made it without her. thanks miss t!

Funny, class went by EXTREMELY slow. and also dont schedule a class right after this one. she always runs late. 3 in class essays and 2 research papers. good teacher. if you absolutely hate writing...dont take her.

Took this class in the summer. Tamara is a wonderful, funny person and an exceptional teacher. The class is time consuming, but she is very good about explaining what she wants and she responses quickly and clearly to emails.2 research papers and quizzes on reading almost every day. Reading is interesting. easy, but you MUST invest time to do well

Tamara is a very good teacher. her class is not easy but not hard either. as long as you work you will do fine. theres 3 in-class essays(be sure to read the articles and do the outlines), 2 research papers(not hard just time consuming), and a book group project. i recommend her, she is awesome :)

She's an amazing teacher! I left Fullerton College and I still keep in touch with her. She goes over and beyond her teaching. You'll learn a lot in her class and everthing will stick to you over the course of the years. I highly recommend her for ALL your English classes!

Her class will help you along with the rest of your Eng classes.On her essays she is very specific on what she wants. IF you want an A, then do the Homework. you use the sparks book quite often and the notes packet a lot. Other than that; she has this ranking system amongst your classmates, she likes cats, and likes old muscle cars!

This was possibly the best class I have ever taken. Tamara is funny and very personable. She really cares about her students and teaching them. Lots of group work and discussions. Interesting, fun, and even emotional, our whole class bonded :)

Absolutely wonderful teacher!!!!! She has you interact with other classmates which helps a lot because you learn from each other as well as from Tamara! She's so funny too! I don't think there was a class period that I didn't smile. Looked forward to her class every time. Take her!! You won't regret it :)

Tamara is extremely helpful. Poetry class was so much fun with her. She is very passionate about poems and gives plenty of extra credit for those students who approach her for opportunities. A fun fun class. I learnt to appreciate poetry so much with her.

Ms. Trujillo is an amazing teacher.. i was not very good at writing essays before this class and after this class i feel very confident in my ability to write an essay. she is very funny and makes the class fun so just do your homework and go to her office hours to get help with the essays and you can get an A like i did.

Show up for class, do your work & you'll be fine. She offers extra credit opportunities, but if you don't mess around, you won't need it.

She's just awesome. She is truly passionate about her subject and makes you passionate as well. She's entertaining, but you still have to work. I learned a lot in her class and I enjoyed the process. I HIGHLY recommend taking her if you get the chance.

She loves what she does. That being said, I have learned so much from her. I say this is not an easy A because you do need to work, you cant just sit back and expect a good grade. Every single class taught me something new and all of the workshops benefited me in 1 way or another. I admire her ability to teach and touch her students' lives.

Tamara Trujillo is by far my favorite teacher EVER. She is super hilarious, fun, kind, and such a great instructor. She makes and laughs at her own jokes which is awesome. She gives you a lot of readings though out the semester which are really interesting. No tests. Just essays. A lot of class participation. Doesn't grade too harshly.

Helpful teacher and provides a good amount of extra credit. Too much work in my opinion. I can't focus on more important classes due to the time required to finish the assignments for this class

Homework: Reading articles! 3-4 every meeting. DO IT!!! - some were pretty lengthy 1-3 pages max front & back - Every article has 2-4 questions Lecture: you get in groups and talk about the articles Essays : 1 take home, 3 in class *she helps you a lot on how to plan for it Novel: group proj due at the end of the sem DONT BE LATE !

Tamara teaches her class very well. Just pay attention in class, everything she assigns she makes sure everyone is clear what to do and when it's due. Her office hours are always open to all her students if they still don't understand. I defiantly recommend her classes. Just be prepared to read interesting articles and write essays and projects.

Tamara is an amazing professor. Her class is an easy A. Her reading questions do take some thinking but it's nothing too harsh. She goes step by step of what she wants from you so you are not shocked. You will never have any test except two 5 point quizzes. She will make sure you are prepared to write your research papers and in class essays.

SHE. IS. THE. BEST. Inspiring, interesting, and passionate about helping her students. I took creative writing with her and it was one of the best classes I've ever had. Always so willing to help during office hours and just a really cool human. Take every class she teaches. The work is reasonable, you get what you give. Made me a better writer.

Ms. Trujillo is a wonderful teacher. If you do your homework, participate in class, show up to her office hours when you are struggling, show up to class, then you will be successful. You will learn so much more. She is willing to help. For those students that received a "sub-standard" grade, like a D-, obviously didn't put in much effort.

I had Tamara fall 2016 and I have to say she was by far the best teacher i have ever had. She makes you work for your stuff, but its not impossible. She always made are you knew what you had to do before you left class that day and she is always SO approachable. I'm a very shy person, so having this teacher like this, made everything much better.

I took this class semester and was blown away by her teaching style and overall atmosphere of the class. Everyone was very engaged and friendly because of how she had us work together. Have recommend her and would take her again. Another plus is she is very easy on the eyes.

I took her for English 99, the class was a while ago, but it was based on happiness. We watched a lot of cool documentaries and read interesting books. Overall I loved the class and ended up passing. She was very nice and engaged with every student and I am now taking her again but instead for English 105! def recommend her to all my friends.

She is VERY caring for her students. Although there was multiple assignments given, they're easy A's as long as you manage your time wisely. SHE GIVES OUT A LOT OF EXTRA CREDIT. My grade would've been an A but I never took class seriously in the beginning. Don't procrastinate. Also, no textbooks required except a notes packet that costs $60-$70.

The best professor Ive ever had! She is so dedicated to what she does and shes easy to talk to and will help you with whatever you are having trouble on! Her class isnt easy but as long as you put in work and dedication you will pass ! Just put effort!! Shes so caring to her students and Im so glad I had her as a professor:) she is amazing!!

Professor Trujillo was one of the clearest, most honest English professors I've ever had. Will definitely try to be as transparent and clear as possible. You absolutely need to show up to class to earn credit, and you need to be on top of assignments. Follow the prompts in the exact format she wrote it in, and it'll be an easy class for you.

The nicest Professor on campus in my opinion ! Shes very easy to talk to ! Very outgoing and if you take her Class you will actually look forward to English ! With that being said ! Her class is no joke ! There is a lot of work ! We worked from the first minute of class to the last ! The points are there but you will have to work for them!

Professor Trujillo's classes are filled with some of the most thought provoking discussions I have ever had. In addition, she has expanded the "tools" I use for literature as well as my way of thinking. I would definitely recommend her, if you want a good challenge.

I took her last fall and I remember she was really generous with extra credit. Only 2 research papers but her homework would have me up late at night doing because it is challenging. But as a professor she is super thoughtful and wants the best for her students. One of those professors you won't forget about. Definitely recommend.

Professor Trujillio was a wonderful teacher. She really wants to see her students do well. However, there is a lot of homework!! You need to be ready to put in a good couple of hours a week to get it finished for most of the semester. But, she offers a TON of extra credit. I recommend her if you're able to put in the work!

I really enjoyed the class because of the professor. There is a lot of work, but she offers a lot of help offers office hours which are very helpful.

In the beginning, I wasn't sure if I was going to like this class because of the work load. However, I ended up appreciating the time and help Professor Trujillo gave us in this course. This class boosted my confidence in my writing. It is a lot of work sometimes, but you just have to find the right time management. Don't be afraid to ask for help!

She offers a lot of extra credit. She also has a thing where, after attending 8 office hours, your grade would go up by a letter. The workload is a bit much as she assigned about 5-10 articles per week and required you to take notes about each. Overall, some details could have been explained better, but she was pleasant to be around.

Prof Trujillo was the best language arts teacher I have ever had. She is very thorough with explaining assignments and offers lots of help to complete them. She offers a half-letter grade bump at the end of the semester if you attend 8 TA tutoring sessions. Essays were easy, especially if you went to the tutoring sessions. Would take again.

I liked that she provided past A examples of assignments. I always looked forward to class. I've taken take her for two different classes and would take her again.

There's a lot of work to do for this class, like the reading logs, research and papers, but she is a very kind and helpful professor. She takes interest in what students like whether it applies to the coursework or not. I hope to take another one of her classes soon!

She was so awesome. She really broke things down and made it really easy to understand. It is a lot of coursework tho.

She was alright. She talks a lot about nothing. Attendance matters but you can call a friend to be counted as "there." The homework is due before class starts. As long as you stay on top of it it's nothing crazy. She does mindfulness practices which I hated and you can't really get out of doing them. Lots of extra credit opportunities though.

I had Miss T my last semester and she did not disappoint. Every class we would take each step together to work up to each in-class essay. She was open to questions adjusting to our class pace, caring, and gave opportunities for extra credit. Although it is a bit of work, as long as you stay on task and on pace you'll be fine.

She does not disappoint. One of the best English teacher. She helps every step when doing the in class essay. She prepares you before essay are due. She does give out extra credit. This course is a bit of work but as long as you stay on task with assignments you will be fine.
