VERY NICE professor, but the course is very hard. Exams are disappointing. Majority got 50-60 for both. The textbook is incredibly boring. I REALLY NEED TO PASS this class, but even if with a good final still hopeless. Wish she will curve ppl's grades.

Ms. Woroby gives good lectures and the information she presents is clear but her exams very difficult and you have to study hard. It is also hard to predict what will be on the exam so you will have to study every word. she is a good teacher with tough exams. the class is good until test time.

she's really easy and she repeats things a hundred times. if you pay attention you'll understand everything. avoid her once a week class though if you can because it's very boring and you won't get out early. the temptation to leave during the break is very hard to resist. easy teacher though, and she's nice.

soooo boringgg. she shows up like 5 minutes late every class, and keeps you till the last second. its not that easy but not that hard either. all you have to do is pay attention. i never could though cause i was always looking for the nearest thing i could hang myself on. its SO boring only 2 tests and 3 hws so if you screw up once you're screwed

she's a really good teacher - uses real world examples. one of the best teachers I've had at towson. tests aren't too hard if you take good notes and study. My books we stolen in the middle of the semester and she let me skip 1 test and have the final count for double so I could get a copy of the notes from a classmate. very nice!!

Woroby is a good professor. Her lectures are not boring and she will make you really interested in economics. She keeps number use to a minimum and she mainly uses graphs. However, you have to study for her 3 tests. Some people find them easy but I found them to be a little challenging. It is do able though. You must be willing to study.

3 exams are the only grades but if you mess one up she said she will weigh more on the other two. If you pay attention to her lectures, take notes, and study your notes you will be fine. She basically tells you what topics are important to know for the test. People that expect to skip class and do well shouldn't take her.

3 Tests nothing else counts. More than half the grade on each test comes from drawing graphs that are not explained or showed at all in the book. I learned a lot from her class, and it is useful information, but most likely will have to retake because I was unable to study the graphs very well..

The classes are interesting, but tests are tricky. Know your graphs! I was a bit disappointed going into the final with a 96 on test 1 and 88 on test 2 and ending up with a B. Thought I did well on final, guess not. Interesting class.

prof. woroby is an amazing person. she is never boring, her class is soo interesting. But, her exams are pretty hard, study!!!! copy down everything she writes/draws on the board, becuase most of it will be on the exam, more than the text marterial. You learn so much in her class, and she always talks about current events to keep you updated.

Best teacher at Towson, hands down. Her class convinced me to switch to be an economics major. If you want to know how the world works and have interesting lectures, take her. Her lecture is amazing. But her tests are amazingly hard.She even asks the questions like "what's in the unempolyment rate in Mar. 2008?". You can learn a lot on her class. But you have to mermorize a lot of stuff. And if you are not so careful, ur GPA may be threatened! I wanted to get an A, but on the first tests I got and B. DAMN!not curve!!!

She definitely knows her stuff. She is extremely intelligent and makes sure you understand what she is talking about. The subject material can be hard sometimes but she does her best to make it easy and clear for you. I definitely have a better understanding of the macroeconomy thanks to her. Only two tests and lots of notes, but helpful notes!

Shes nice, very intelligent, i went into this class knowing nothing about economics and i learned alot but i did study a lot too, there are 2 midterms worth 25% each, a final worth 30%, and online h/w's worth 20%, i got an A in the class but i wouldnt of if i hadn't studied alot! She has great reviews so I took her, big mistake. Although she is very knowledgeable, her tests are impossible & there is no real review before tests (there are only 3). Graded homework on Aplia. Gone several times during the semester & leaves a sub whose teaching style varies greatly from her own & doesn't help with test material. AVOID if you can

Well, I had her for Macro principles and then environmental econ, and she teaches fairly well. You definitely learn a lot. Problem is, the stuff she teaches won't really show up on exams too often. Her test questions are just really convoluted and altered versions of what you did in class, or they are taken out of the most obscure parts of the text.

Professor Woroby is great. There is no busywork; you just come to class and learn. Sure your grade depends on three tests, but her tests are not difficult (some people say they are, but they probably have an IQ less than 100). Everything you learn is interesting and when you talk to people about Economics you will realize how much you learned.

Warning: If you have no ambition and are not willing to try hard to learn, you will fail this class. Professor Woroby will teach you a lot if you attend the class, even though attendance is not mandatory. The class is very challenging. However if you are willing to try hard, you will learn a lot and come out with a good grade and economic knowledge

Don't bother studying the textbook. Your grade will be based on three tests that are all about graphs that aren't shown in the textbook. Take pictures of the blackboard, but do it fast because she goes over everything at warp speed and erases the graphs two seconds after drawing them.

Good professor, but goes really fast during lecture. Says that you'll need the study guide, but you don't. Take VERY good notes and READ the book. Even if you don't read the book until a few days before the exam, DO IT, it will help a lot. YouTube and Google are also your friends. She will help you if you go for help so do it if you need to.

Such a great professor! She really knows a lot about economics, and goes over things plenty of times to make sure that everyone understands. Attendance isn't mandatory, but going to class will definitely improve your performance in the class. Remember the graphs she puts on the board and be sure to do all your online assignments. She also curves.

No homework just 3 exams (2 midterms & a final). The exams are easy just go to class and take notes. COPY ALL GRAPHS she puts on the board, they'll definitely be on the exams. Whatever she puts on the board will overall most likely be on the exams. It's up to you to come to class but I suggest you do. Curves exams, not by much.

Dr. Woroby knows what she's talking about. Class isn't too hard. Much better than 201 in my opinion. Total of 3 tests. An Aplia assignment once a week (she might not use Aplia after this semester, though). No papers. Go to class and take good notes and you'll be fine. Professor Woroby knows her stuff and can teach it. She is very good at explaining concepts. Overall the class is a bit difficult and for the tests, you need to memorize a few economic indicators price of oil, SandP 500,Ect . Three tests.

Dr. Woroby is the best professor I have had at Towson. She is HILARIOUS!! The course is very hard but Dr. Woroby is very knowledgeable that she always makes the content relatable, easy and simple to understand. Just go to class. Pay attention. She makes it interactive. Although the class is lecture heavy it isn't bad to sit through. She explains everything very well but you have to pay attention to understand. If you need help she is very helpful and nice. If you go to class and pay attention you should have no problems.

Although it's a lecture class she explains the content really well and is helpful outside of class if you meet with her. She doesn't give homework so you have to actually pay attention in class if you want to do well. If you go to class and show that you're trying, she'll typically boost you up on exams and your final grade at the end.

This class was very interesting but I would not recommend taking it if it is not necessary. Your grade is made up of two midterms worth 30% each and the final is cumulative and worth 40%. The tests are hard and the multiple choice is not always representative of the lecture given.

Prof Woroby is clearly knowledgeable about economics. However, her lectures are borderline useless. You will be better of doing notes on your own and teaching yourself. Her lectures often focus on events in the US economy, which will make no sense if you haven't taught yourself the terms.

This class is quite a challenge. Her tests are based on a lot of current event statistics which can make them very challenging. attend her lectures if you want to pass. Will literally hold you to the last second of class, sometimes even a whole minute after.

Class is 2 midterms, a final, and online assignments. Tests are usually challenging, but if you read the book they arent too bad. Lectures are a little unorganized and dont follow the textbook so its hard to take notes. She will test you on current economics, and relates the class to the current economy which is nice. Take her if you can

She's probably the worst professor I had . I am just a freshman. She is just awful by confusing us with her lectures. Her assignments are also very hard and unclear. If any question is asked she does not answer instead she says you will know as the course goes on! I will not recommend her! Worst professor...

Prof. Woroby is knowledgable about econ but forgets we aren't on the same level. Lectures are the most boring I've ever had. Spends too much time drawing & writing things that are unnecessary. Zone out for a second & you're lost but it's hard not to zone out. No hw to supplement learning. Info about the paper is unclear. Avoid her if you can.

Professor Woroby is big on graphs.. she draws them all over to the point where you can't keep up with whats what, she asks you to draw them during class, and they're half of her exams. If you don't get the graphs, you won't pass, and they're difficult to understand. DO THE HOMEWORK if you do take her..

Prof. Woroby has been one of the best professors I've had, the class is made up of 3 tests(2 midterms) and a cumulative final. I personally found the class very straightforward and not that challenging because of my experience with microeconomics. Her lectures can be boring, and unrelated to the textbook but she makes the content easy to understand

She rambles a lot in the lectures and what she writes on the board doesn't make sense half the time. Attendance was mandatory but I found solely reading from the textbook and watching youtube videos online were more helpful than going to class.

This class was fine. It was boring at times, but I had no problem with Professor Woroby. She is very fair in her grading (and gives curves) and she is straightforward about what to expect and what to know. It was a fairly easy class for me and in all honesty, I hardly used the textbook. I'm glad I took the class, definitely a solid choice!

Im a Towson alum so feel free to take my review with a grain of salt. Its been years since I graduated and I still think about how much I enjoyed this course. Dr. Woroby is incredibly knowledgeable (by far one of the best professors I had at Towson). The course was tough and covered a lot of info. Listen, take lots of notes, & memorize the graphs

Dr. Woroby has a fluid teaching style, and it can be difficult to keep up with at times. To be as successful as possible, adapt to it. Oftentimes she will begin one line of thought, and then connect it to another, leaving a disconnect in your notes. Memorize all graphs and formulas. If she needs you to write something down, she'll tell you to.

Horrible teacher. Expects you spend close to said hours after every class to study the material. Assignments are given only a few days before theyre due. Does not teach in a coherent style. Avoid at all costs unless you hate yourself.

Avoid at all costs. I can't speak on her teaching skills in person, but online she is terrible. Lectures the whole class, moves fast, told my class she is there to introduce topics and it is our job to spend hours outside of class to understand them, doesn't open homework assignments until a few days before its due, scribbles on screen

I am taking her class online this semester and by far one of my hardest classes. She skims over the chapters, sometimes doing 2 a week. She gives only a few days to complete assignments. And if you dont read any of the chapters, good luck passing the class.

She scribbles on the screen and the powerpoints have no useful written content. She speaks and it doesn't help if that's not your learning style. LEctures are not mandatory but they don't much either. It is hard to focus on her class too because she goes through slides fast.

This class was not good, she makes exams worth 30% on your grade each exam and your homeworks are worth 10% so if you dont go goo on your exams you are screwed. Her exams have nothing to do with what you learn in class and are very difficult. I would not take this professor again.

Yeah never again. The entire course is based off of exams even though there are tough homework's assigned every week, meaning if you do amazing on the homework's but are not a good test-taker you'll fail the course. The class was disorganized and BlackBoard never represented an accurate grade having many students realizing they failed the last day.

As an economics major I was thoroughly impressed by Dr. Woroby's sheer knowledge of the field - she is a gifted economist and her ability to elaborate on theories is so impressive its almost scary. Consider yourself lucky if you have the opportunity to take a course with such an established member of the economics community.

Professor Woroby is actually a very nice lady but with that being said her class is very difficult. The homework is hard and does not give you unlimited attempts and the exams are extremely difficult but she usually curves them by 10 points. She is not the worst professor but if you have another option definitely take this class with someone else.

If you are signed up for this class good luck. I took this because it fit perfectly into my schedule and it was a mistake. Dr. Woroby goes through chapters way too fast and her exams are impossible. She curved all of our exams by 10 pts and after the curve the class average was still in the 70s. The homework's also hard and graded on accuracy.

Professor Woroby is AMAZING. The course is challenging, but she explains the material very well. She's willing to help if you ask her. There were 3 midterms, each 25% of your grade, and weekly homework assignments that totaled to 25% as well. The midterms were lecture-heavy and a lot easier than the homework itself.

She is absolutely wonderful, just go for lectures and actually pay attention, you'll understand the class. If you have any problems she's always willing to listen and make sure you understand. Try to have her aware/ notice you in her class and it will definitely go a long way. She's very understanding and caring.

Prof. Woroby herself isn't too bad but her classes are based off powerpoint slides. Your grade in the class is based on your avg grade on hw done on connect and 3 midterms throughout the semester. No cumulative "final". She curves midterm grades, by avg points. All exams are done in person class but on your laptop, easy to cheat on them ;)
