You could tell he had other things going on because he really didnt prioritize our class. Everything he taught was exactly from the book. The class became boring because you werent learning anything that you hadn't just read about. Also if you werelate for class, more than fifteen minutes, it counted as an absence. He was ridiculous.

If you are ONE MINUTE late for his class you cannot turn in any assignments and are counted absent for the day (and you lose points for being "absent"). If your homework is stapled wrong, he won't accept it. Tests are easy though, he gives you topics to study beforehand that are directly from the test. I wouldn't recommend.

Professor Sukkary is definately a professor who I would recommend to others. His lectures are extremely detailed and comprehensive, almost to the point where purchasing the book is not necessary for a B or a C. However, if you want the A, buy the book. This was a very cool class! It really makes you expand and reach out of your comfort zone and learn what is going on in todays society (political wise). Professor Sukkary is very reasonable and extremely fair. I really enjoyed this class and will refer this professor and class to friends and family.

I was skeptical about taking his class because of some of my classmates opinions but I am so glad I took a chance. He is truly a knowledgeable and amazing professor! And he is funny! He pretty much gives you the test with a well laid out study guide and often gives opportunities for extra credit.

If you show up to class and do all the assignments there is no reason not to get an A. His lectures really do a good job of preparing you for what youll see on the tests. His class isnt hard and he is a fair grader. He is very clear about his expectations and criteria. Probably the best professor Ive had at Sierra.

Professor Sukkary is an amazing teacher. He wants you to learn the subject and so he provides a good amount of homework BUT ITS NOT STRESSFUL. He is a very good teacher and you can tell he cares a lot about his students. He offers lots of extra credit. Be prepared to write a bunch of notes from his in-class slides because they HELP on future tests.

Professor Sukkary was honestly super tough in my opinion. His class consists of lectures, quizzes, a presentation, current event papers, and tests. His tests are HARD and you will not pass if you do not study. I liked the lectures, but he grades hard on the papers so getting someone to look over and help is advised. He appreciates effort!

This class is easy, just a little time consuming (very manageable). He is passionate about the material and will take the time to get to know you! He gives extremely clear guidelines as to what will be on the tests (4) and how he wants the papers formatted (4). The tests require a decent amount of studying, but you have plenty of notice. Easy A.

Decent amount of HW; revel reading, participate in your discussions! Only one presentation was required of the class. Offers extra credit frequently. Allows open discussion and is unbiased, I didn't feel I had to worry about my grade for having a different opinion. Attend the zoom meetings or review them after, very helpful for tests.

Tamir Sukkary has been instrumental in not only teaching me to love political science but providing valuable lessons that continue to help me in university today. His course was clearly structured, highly informative, and just the right amount of challenge. He provided a well developed and enjoyable introduction to the school of political science.

Prof. Sukkary is a great teacher. Taking his class online prevented me from really getting to know him, but he seems like a great guy as well. His discussion board assignments are insigtful and not over-the-top. Purchasing the Pearson textbook is a bit pricey, but necessary for the class and a pretty good resource. Good choice for POLS 1.

Class was a easy A. Subject was insanely boring but tests and assignments were very easy. All you do is read the book he assigns. If you want an easy pass class he is a great professor but you won't really learn anything.

A very good professor who details everything that is expected from the students. The syllabus details all the expectations for the course and when changes are made to it, an email is sent immediately. Very detailed grader and gives great feedback on how to improve scores. If you follow the syllabus and make a good effort, you will for sure get a A.

He is definitely the best teacher Ive ever had and left the biggest impression on me. He is very caring and makes sure to remember everyones names. His class was very well laid out, and he seemed eager to help if something didnt make sense. He is definitely the least bias teacher Ive had, and that is difficult to achieve in a political class.

This was an amazing class to attend. Prof has realworld experience & gives excellent feedback. The amount of effort he puts into his lectures is the same amount he expects from us. We had great discussions in class & this is the best teacher I've had at Sierra. Even though you get put into groups for assignments a lot it does push you in a good way
