This teacher is really great her notes r in blackboard and she will go over it in class.She is a gud teacher and will explain everything without any shame.She brought life to psych, and her grading method is fairly easy.I made A in both of her classes.I never missed her class.If u planning to take her class u don't need a text book.I recommend her

Never boring - totally FUN and interesting!!!

I recommend her.There' no tests given!She gives out quizes,total 11.She tells u what' gonna be on them(a plus).If u study what she gives u then u'll make a sweet 100 on them.The term paper is on a movie she gives u.Look at movie, write over concepts learned in class & u'll get easy A.Expects work on time.Class is full at end of semester.A+ teacher!

She's very easy, the class is fun. She's a really nice prof. My only warning is that if you are serious about psych or social psych this is a bit of a blow-off class...there is no hard core learning going on, just basics.

She makes the class fun and interesting. Test time comes you must study pretty hard to pass. I had a bad semester with her because she wasn't there for 3 weeks due to hospital or whatever but she still manage to teach and I recommended her over gracie roberts.

She is the nicest teacher in the world. She has the ability to ally the tems that she is teaching to real life issues. Who every stated that she was hard did not apply themselves. She was the best Psycology teacher I have ever had !

Easy for a short summer session. She gave reviews, as long as most of us passed the tests. She had many useful dorky hints to help us remember. Would recommend her to anyone, especially during the summer.

She is a great professor. If you attend class and study your outlines you do good. Also her hints help alot. Her lectures are funny and keep you interested. If I have to take the next class will for sure take it with her!!!

Awesome, awesome, awesome. I do not understand what the bad ratings are for. Yes, you CANNOT be tardy, but that is not a bad thing. Her lectues are interesting and since she makes outlines for you it makes note taking way easy. Just pay attention, study the outlines, and remmeber her hints. Great teacher. Final is super easy!

She is awesome, very funny. She is strict about tardiness but what do you expect you're in college not high school. She is real helpful with the research project, she does the notes for you all you d is fill in the blanks.

love her! hard teacher but passable. must attend classes to get notes (on outline she provides for each chapter). i wouldnt suggest buying the book. she emphasizes that we'll use it a lot but really, don't. shes communicates with the students well and knows what she's talking about. a little attitude at times, but it's all goood.

Ms.Miller was an AWESOME person. She actually made me fall in love with Psychology. I took her for bother General and Lifespan! I promise I would stay at San Jac another semester just to take her stats class! Alll you have to do is read and study your outline ver well and you will be okay! PLEASE TAKE HER SHE IS SO AWESOME.

Really good teacher....you want to learn psychology then you will but she is a little impatient and makes lots styreotypical assumptions. Guess she does what she is paid to do. Wonderful teacher though.

Her class was very entertaining and helpful. I learned life long lessons in her class. She wants you to succeed in her class and apply these things to your life. She has a positive attitude and loves what she teaches. I think her class is easy if you pay attention, attend class, and study. She's approachable though she never responded to my emails.

This professor knows what she is doing and always gives her studets the information they need for a test or quiz. She is very helpful and I would recommend this teacher.

Tells you what to study. Gives you examples on how material applies which brings deeper understanding. Extra credit opportunities. You shouldn't fail as long as you do your part.

If you do not read the chapters, you will not pass. Every chapter matters. Besides that, her class was fun and exciting. Group projects where interesting. She is funny and likes to interact with her students. Class is not hard as long as you READ THE CHAPTERS!!!!!

Your book is very much needed because there is a quiz every week! The class in general was pretty interesting and fun. Quizzes were hard, especially if you don't study off your book. I loved her, she's so funny and energized which made the class better. Definitely recommend her!

This is one of the classes that if you pay attention to what's expected of you, you can easily get a good grade. The tests are difficult but the study sessions are EXTREMELY helpful. Don't slack on your project-it's worth it. Don't plagiarize on your paper. I love Psychology but you don't have to to enjoy her class. She's hilarious for 7 am.

Good professor you need to complete the HW (outlines before each class) you have 4 test and a semester project. Make sure you don't Plagiarize seek help if needed. Must attend class to understand concepts, she also provides dorky hints which do come in handy for the tests. This class makes you work for your grade. She is a great instructor overall.

I got an A in this class but I worked hard for it! Don't slack, come to class, give your best effort on the project and you will pass! She gives you all the information you need to study before hand so there's never any surprises! The class was interesting and I would recommend this professor!

She has every one do a project, a paper is a part of it and it's the most important part so do a good job on it. Will need the textbook. She gives homework. She's kinda funny and laid back.

SHE IS AWESOME

She's funny and helps you out as much as you can so you can do well on the tests. The tests are easy if you do the outline and pay attention in class. She will pick on you randomly and if you don't answer she will kick you out. She's strict and intimidating but overall a great professor who I wouldn't mind taking again.

She will make you fill out some outlines everyday prior to class but they're very very easy to do with a textbook that you have to buy. Her classes are lecture heavy and her tests are pretty easy if you show up to class and look at your notes once in a while. Also, DO NOT procrastinate the psychology project/paper she makes you do.

Gives you what you need to know and give you guides that are very helpful for tests IF you do them. Class never stops and there is a new topic every day.

She taught amazing and I liked how she forced us to talk about what we learned. The only bad thing is that if you were lazy that day you would be like ughhh. Had to fill in some of the outline before class in order to know what we are going to talk about. Did not need the textbook at all, except for one unit which she pulled questions out of book.

I am currently in her honors class of PSYC 2301 and she is freakin hilarious! Her class is not hard at all as long as you study the outline-she fills out almost everything & tells you which ones will be on the test. Very clear instructions on the sem. project, makes it easy. She is very nice & lectures are fun. 1 easy assignment for each unit (3)

Funny teacher. Responds to her emails. Never a boring class. You have to study all your notes. You have to get some information from your textbook on your own. Gives extra credit for unit exams. This is a class where note cards will become your new best friend. Quizzes for every unit. When she gives homework, do it. Any assignment is important.

OMG I freakin love Ms. Miller, she makes her lecturing so enjoyable, always gives funny examples about what your learning about, shes HILARIOUS as heck!! Workwise, you need to work for it, shes not going to give you a free B, do you work and study and the class will be an Easy A!!

Both outlines and quizzes helps on the test. Plenty of extra credit opportunities. Doesn't allow phones but she's there to help with all questions. Hardly any homework and she gives 1 semester paper and project that she breaks down to make it simple. She drops a few grades as well. As long as you follow the outline you should pass

I started off disliking her class greatly, but as the semester came towards the end I began to really enjoy this class. She made the class and work easy to understand.

Great Teacher! Professor Miller's class is never boring. Come to class and be ready to learn and write lots notes. This is a class you have to put work into and study! most of her grades come from quizzes, mid-term, Project and Final exam and that's it. So beware if you don't like putting in work then this isn't the class for you.

Take her class, you will not regret it. She is amazing. One of the most caring professors I have ever had. She has a great sense of humor, and is super encouraging. I took a 5 week class, so there was plenty to do but it was manageable. You will have a semester paper but she literally walks you through every step! I am telling you take her class!

I took Miller for Honors PSYC 2301, I really enjoyed her lectures, very interactive. The sweetest teacher I've had. There are 4 exams, a quiz for every chapter 3 short essays, and a final semester paper. Highly recommend her!!

Professor Miller very caring and genuinely wants her students to pass. To be honest her class was not the easiest but the material learned is very interesting so it makes you want to do the work. She doesn't grade the essays very hard except the semester paper. Her exams are pretty much her lectures, so take notes. Other than that, she is awesome!

Professor Miller has a charm that keeps you actively engaged in her lectures. Even through the online setting, you can't help but feel her bustling energy from the other side of the screen. Taking an hour off your week to read the chapters can go a long way, and flashcards really help. She makes psychology fun and memorable.

Sadly I had her for online class, I wish I wouldve been able to meet her in-person. She is such a sweet & understanding professor. There was work due every week but nothing too crazy. Highly recommend to take her online.

Where do I even begin to describe professor Miller?... She is iconic, talented, brilliant, and I'm deeply saddened I couldn't meet her in a face-to-face environment. Some professors inspire you to learn what they teach, but professor Miller inspires you to live and breathe psychology. Truly a gem.

Professor Miller is very interactive with her students because she cares!! She is very exact with her grading criteria so read the instructions carefully. She is extremely accesible and organized. She goes above and beyond to make things easy for her students from chapter outline to step-by-step instructions for assignments!

She is very engaging and tries to make her lectures funny. She helped me become more interested in the subject and is very caring. Make sure to study everything in Blackboard for her tests, there's a lot she does not go over. Be careful on the semester paper too, it will bring your grade down. Overall, I enjoyed Professor Miller's class.

Professor Miller is seriously a great professor! I took her for General Psychology and I am now in her Lifespan Growth and Development class. She really tries to make her class interesting and is very silly.

It is no doubt Professor Miller LOVES what she does & does it well. Her lectures and content are GREAT! The textbook was also interactive and fun too. A paper was required, but she gave clear guidelines for it as well as allowed early submissions for critique (which keep in mind means way more work for her just to help us get a better grade).

Prof. Miller is awesome. You can tell she cares about your success. She gives amazing feedback and reminders. The only reason I gave her a 4 is because of the semester paper. It's easy, and she helps you a lot with it, but she only allows one submission on Turnitin. So, if you accidentally plagiarize or need to change something, you are cooked.

Professor Miller is the best! You could tell she loved what she does and made lectures very interesting. Quizzes/exams were never hard, just as long as you take notes/study. She's pretty strict when it comes to deadlines but would always sent reminders to ensure everyone turns in their stuff. She's sadly retiring, but she was a great professor!

I took the Learning Framework course with Professor Miller and she is amazing! She makes videos with very clear instructions and lots of resources. She offers to review paragraphs ungraded in order to ensure that your final paper is the best that it can be. She communicates her expectations clearly and includes pictures of her dog. Very helpful!

Professor Miller is fantastic! Her engaging lectures and clear grading make the class enjoyable. While the semester paper can be tricky, using Unstuck study alongside the textbook is a big help. Definitely take this class if you can.
