I thought that she was a good teacher.She was a really sweat person and I enjoyed her classes because I knew that if I needed help I could go by and ask her and she would explain. I made an A in the first one and a B in the second one so I don't think she wants you to fail,just study for the tests.

Ms. Oliver is an AWESOME TECAHER. She makes biology soo interesting and FUN... I actually learned something in that class. :) I took her for A&P 1 and 2 and also for Microbiology...... and I LOVED IT. Take her for as many classes you can. As long as you listen in class, take good notes and ACTUALLY STUDY.... you'll do fine in the class.

Oliver is an angel. Compared to other anatomy teachers I have had, people stop your trippin. You don't know what hard is. She is to the point, direct and educated. I think her class should be mandatory so all can see what a real college class is like. She gets an A+ (A for Angelic). Take her class.

Gives alot of extra credit so even if you make 1 or 2 bad grades on those hard lecture tests you can still pull an A if you do well on the lab exams.Has a great sense of humor and energetic when teaching the class.

In order to get an A in her class, you must pay attention, study, and ask questions. If you can't do that, then don't bother signing up for her class.

Wonderful teacher. Go to class and you will make a B. Be nice to her and you will make an A. If you are mean to her or anything you will fail. Test are pretty difficult but had a big curve. Lab was very easy and will raise your grade. 1 paper over the labe that helps too. Attendance is mandatory it was 20% or grade.

Really, really great teacher! Go to class, pay attention,and study. She is very helpful also extremely knowledgable about the subject. Gives extra credit on exams. Lecture exams are pretty tough, but labs are easy so be sure to ace them! If you're considering taking this class, please do!

She's amazing! Loved having her in SCIT 1407 and 1408 and BIO2420 (Microbiology). I made almost all A's in those classes and she knows her stuff! Absolutely wonderful character!

I 100 percent love Ms. Oliver. She is amazing. I did fantastic with lab but had a hard time with lecture. I still passed most of my tests though in lecture, so I got an a in AP 1 and AP 2. Dr. Oliver is a great instructor. I was a bit intimidated at first, but as long as you come to class, participate and pay attention, you will do fine. Dr. Oliver is a great, clear and knowledgeable person. The course isn't easy, but what Micro course is easy? You will have to study a lot and use the textbook in order to end the course with a good grade. She gives enough extra credit that can bump your grade up and attendance is 50 pts.

Awesome teacher and gives plenty of extra credit, labs were mandatory but mostly used for study time. Overall 4 lab test and 4 lecture test both very hard but she is specific on what areas to focus on. I am taking her for A&P 2

Dr. Oliver is an amazing teacher! Her tests are not easy by any means, but if you study and show up to class an A is easy. She does give lots of extra credit which helped me getting my A. She has zero tolerance for people who show up late, leave in the middle of lecture to talk on the phone and people that that just don't come to class.

I took Micro during the SUMMER. I became overwhelmed the first two weeks. I told her i would have to take in the Fall. She said don't do that, hang in there. I did and I made an A. I tell anyone who will listen to take her. She has her doctorates but she explains on an associates level. Unlike some of the other professors at EFC. She is awesome!!!!

Tammy Oliver is such a great knowledgeable professor! She has a Doctorates so she really knows hers stuff, not only that, but she explains everything well. Grades are kept up to date, replies quickly to e-mails, and she is always in a great mood even at 8 am! Tried taking her for A&P, but the classes were full the first day of sign up!

Prof Tammy Oliver is such a great, Intelligient, Goofy Professor overall. Her lectures are quite entertaining and you'll enjoy both lecture and lab. Microbiology is a tough subject but the rewards of taking it with this professor are worth it. You must read the book along with the lecture slides to score 90+ on the tests. I took Dr. Oliver for summer 2018 and she is honestly the best. The idea of taking micro at first was scary but it actually wasnt that bad. All you have to do is study. Do all her online quizzes since those are counted as extra credit and try your best. I made a A for the semester even though my test grades werent the highest. So it is possible!

Dr. Oliver is one of the best teachers I know, I took her for microbiology and her class does fill up pretty fast. The lecture tests are hard so you really need to study for them. I have no words for this instructor. She is a real gem for microbiology. I took her in Fall 2018. Exams are little difficult, so should put efforts on it. Everyone said microbiology was not an easy class but this instructor made this class easy for me by her amazing lectures. I strongly recommend every student to take her for MICROBIOLOGY class.

I was scared of taking this class on line but Im glad I did, you need to buy the kit ahead of time and you need the ebook mastering microbiology, her syllabus is straight forward, just make sure you have your work done by the due dates. I took Professor Oliver for AP 1, AP 2 and MICRO. She tells you exactly what will be on the lab & lecture exams. She gives extra credit for Mastering assignments for AP and MICRO. I highly recommend doing it and it will make a difference in your grade. Find a good group to work with for labs. She counts off if you miss class.

Dr. Oliver is truly a blessing. Labs are fun and interesting. No HW only optional EC. 3 lecture exams (Online),3 lab exams (in person). We had an unknown microorganism lab and lab report to write, its time-consuming but easier than I expected. Im so happy and relieved to be taking her for A&P1+2.
