I think Ms. Thompson is cute, but her teaching ability and helpfulness is far more superior. She was a great teacher, and more than willing to help assist her students. I know my classmates were kind of dull, but I want her to know that she's great and I'm sure most would agree to that. Just study for her test, and you'll do fine. Easy B or A

Tammy is awesome! She teaches off of powerpoint and she****the major points. i never read a page of the book. she gave a list of all terms/events that would be on tests. you just have to make sure you study for her tests. she has 3 and 1 optional paper that is super easy to write. I recommend her to anyone and everyone! she also teaches 1302.

AWESOME teacher! I took her as a junior in high school & she was great. always willing to help, gave you every opportunity to make an A. Very understanding with absences if you inform her beforehand. Study for her tests & you will be fine. I enjoyed her class & would definitely recommend her even if you hate history. Plus she's gorgeous!

Mrs. Thompson was a great teacher! I failed history the first time i took it and then i took it with her and made an A. The discussion boards are super easy and the quizzes come from the book online study guide and you have all the time to take the exams!! Def take her!!!

Took online, never opened book. Everything available online. Quizzes can be taken 6 times, DB's are mandatory but you can write whatever you like and get credit. tests are not timed. Easiest A ever.

Took online in 5 week semester, very well organized and easy to understand schedule, a lot of reading but able to take quizzes multiple times to get 100%, DB's are required but not overwhelming. Took her online. Read her lecture notes and chapter summaries. Do participate on DB and take the quizzes and you will do well on the exams. She really was helpful and had some really neat comments and info. She seems intent on your success as a student and was very quick to respond to any email. Made History interesting.

Love this professor! I took the online class during Summer I. Can complete quizzes using the chapter summary. Six opportunities to take the quizzes. Exams can only be taken once; however, you can save your answers and come back to it. I made a 99 in the class, while also learning...the perfect combination.

Super easy. Never opened the book. All the info you need is in the chapter summaries she provides. Discussion Boards are easy and interesting. I took this as a summer II course.

LOVE MS THOMPSON! I took her class in Fall '13. She makes the subject interesting, wasn't too excited about it at first. She is very organized and is clear on what you need to know for exams. Would def take her again!

No homework & two options for your grade. Either 3 tests worth around 33% or 3 tests & a paper worth 25% each. Choose which ever will help you pass. Take notes & listen to the lectures. Really good teacher & gets to know the class pretty well. Tests are sections of matching, multiple choice, 5 essays choose 2 and the rest are a few points of EC.

At first its intimidating because she tells you its on 3 test and 1 essay for your grade. However, she gives you the review well in advance, she knows everything about the subject, and she gives you plenty of time to do the research paper too . All you have to do is try! Study, do the paper, and try! She is extremely helpful, and I enjoyed class

Like 1301, 3 tests and optional paper. Last semester I went almost every class. This year I went maybe once every two weeks. Still going to get an A. Fill out the review you'll be fine. Tests are MC, Matching, and Essay, 5 total essays 2 needed the rest will give you some EC. Don't buy the book, I did last semester never used it didn't bother now.

I took Thompson online during the summer. Her class was really easy, with not much work attached. Don't buy the textbook, all the reading you might need is in the reading assignments for each chapter that she posts. You get 6 attempts on quizzes, so those are all easy hundreds. Exams are a bit long but definitely doable. Take Thompson!!

Class was great! Consisted of weekly discussion boards that were super easy. The chapter quizzes could be taken using the chapter notes that she provides. The book isn't necessary for the class. Her exams also pull 95% of their questions from these notes. Easy A!

Tammy Thompson rocks. She is very clear on what is going to be on the test and the tests are not hard at all. She knows her stuff and is very knowledgeable in the History field. Attendance is not always necessary. GREAT TEACHER would take again in a heartbeat!

She explained everything through a power point. I am not great at History, but she made it easy to follow. As long as you take good notes and study them, you'll do fine. She gives you a study guide and her tests are straight forward. She does allow extra credit. I made flash cards to study, which really helped me. Only gives 3 tests and no homework

Makes is easy for students to pass but it's not a free A. You won't pass or learn if you don't show up to her class.

Online History 1302 with Tammy Thompson is awesome! Very simplistic class setting. Weekly discussion boards and quizzes. Book is VERY necessary. Work given is entertaining and eye-opening. Take this class with this professor! You won't regret it.

History is not my strength but I did really well in her course. She is very flexible when it comes to attendance and test dates. She is a great teacher and gives an awesome study guide for her exams (3 total). I signed up to take her again for 1302. It's not a piece of cake but trust me, you'll be able to do it with an avg. amount of effort!

You must listen and take notes when she lecturing. Yes there are slides of notes she has on blackboard but it's very vague so you have to add on to it.

Took her 1302 class online while in my second semester of nursing school. Super super easy! She is very nice and really wants to help. Class is easy - 16 chapter quizzes and three tests. Don't need the book, answers are in the readings she posts or online. You are doing something wrong if you don't make an A!

Easy class, learned plenty, you will have things to do weekly (short discussion boards and quizzes), only 3 tests including the final.

I took Professor Thompson during the summer, and loved her! The course was really well laid out, and had clear directions and criteria. She posted lecture notes that summed up the assigned reading, which made the quizzes easy. Basically, it's a discussion board, and a quiz each week, and then a unit test every two or three weeks. Take this class!

I love this class! She post lots of video to go with each chapter, very involved with discussion boards! She replies to almost every post. I think she love history and teaching if your going do online history take her

She is a GREAT choice if you want to pass this class. You are only graded on the 3 tests you take and the tests are easy if you just show up to class and take notes during the lecture. Also she gives you an option to write an essay and turn it in by the end of the semester to raise your grade. She's cool, laid back, to the point! TAKE HER!!

I took Prof Thompson online. Easy class. She assigns discussion boards and quizzes every week. I only spent 30 minutes a week on classwork. If you're looking for an easy A, I'd highly recommend her!

Gives two options to be graded by and you choose around the end of the semester depending on how your doing. No homework! Tests aren't many but they're super easy. I came in unprepared once and still scored In the 90s. (You still have to study and pay attention though haha) lecture is long but she's a great teacher. I 100% recomend this class!

Really informative course and she made it very simple. 3 exams and 1 essay is all that is due in this class! Show up, take notes and review them before tests.

Took this class online summer 2 and it was AWESOME!! Professor Thompson sets the bar when it comes to online classes. Class is very organized, can work at your own pace, pay attention to deadlines, there are NO time limits on her tests which is fantastic for those of us with test anxiety! i took her online course, Literal easy A, I promise. Gives out hw every week, due on sunday nights. she gives a reading assignment along with hw and you will have a quiz that is not timed. Do not need a book for this online course. It says you do but you dont, she summarizes it (which is what the reading assignment is) the reading is 3-4 p long

The only reason I got a B was I missed several of the Discussion Boards in the beginning of the semester. Easy class. Most of the test answers are on Quizlet. Would take again!

You couldn't hope for a better history professor. She really knows her stuff. As someone who never liked history class, I found myself really enjoying the lessons. She gives you study guides well before the exams--take advantage. Make sure you take good notes. The only way you could fail this class is if you put forth no effort whatsoever.

I took her for 2 classes. It was a sequence in American History. I have a learning disability. She was over the top helpful. I couldn't ask for better.

I love this class. She has notes available online to print and follow along with in class. Shes a great lecturer and class is very interesting. Amazing lectures. If you miss a day then you have a gap in your notes. Tests are easy and she goes over what to study for. Book not required. Final is not comprehensive. Only 3 tests and no final. She gives lots of pictures to view and she gives powerpoints for notes.

I was honestly worried about this class, she only gives 3 tests throughout the semester and no final. Each test is worth 33%, but the class is super easy and so are tests as long as you study the powerpoints. She is also super nice and works around your schedule if you cannot make it to an exam.

I took this class for the winter minimester and it was amazing. I learned a lot and I wasn't stressed or overwhelmed with the material. You don't need the book because she provides reading summaries that you can read that covers what u need to know for the exams. Take her, TRUST ME, it's the perfect online class for History.

I never had any problems or even had to communicate with Prof. Thompson, so I'm unaware of her time replying back to emails. I did take a summer online class. She had tons of assignments each week, from DBs, quizzes, and exams, but as long as you read the assigned chapters you were good. She does not use respondus browser.

No book needed for online. Great chapter summaries got me through the class. A few quizzes, homeworks, discussions, and 3 tests all completed online in the comfort of my home!

This class was so easy! It is very lecture heavy but she makes it very interesting with pictures. She puts all the powerpoints online so if you miss you can read them and catch up. She provides a list review but if you know all the topics you should make good grades on the tests. No class work

Great professor! Her discussion boards are a lot of fun. The book is not need because she has what you need to know already on Brightspace. There is no reason you shouldn't pass her class if you just do the work.

Prof Thompson is GREAT! I took her in the fall (2019) for HIST 1301. She provides awesome feedback and is willing to help all of her students. She gives an extra credit opp at the end of the semester. There wasn't any homework, only 3-4 test. As long as you take notes, and study the notes you will pass. She's AH-MAZINGGG.

Hands down an amazing professor. Very passionate about her topic. No homework other than typical studying. Gives reviews for tests and the tests are very easy if you study. I took this class while in dual credit and I could not recommend her enough! She is always available to answer any questions and is happy to help. Her class is easy until it reaches the exams. Make sure you study for them, as you only get one shot and it's in LockdownBrowser. She gives you six attempts for quizzes though, which has its moments where it's helpful if there's a certain topic you struggle with.

Mrs.Thompson is incredible at her work. I took this course online in Spring 2023. She is a great professor for first-time college students. Her format is organized. Her weekly discussions require one interesting fact you learned. She includes interesting videos. She posts assignments in advance so you can finish them early. She responds quickly.

Took this as an online class. Super easy just make sure you keep up with the reading and follow her instructions carefully on the discussions in order to get the full credit. Graded based on a weekly discussion, quiz, and 3 exams.

If you have to take a history course, take Professor Thompson! The structure of her online courses are straight forward and you get 6 attempts for each quiz. Even if you just need an extra course, this is a good one to consider! She wants her students to succeed in her courses.

Professor Thompson is an amazing professor who really cares about her students and their success. This class is super straightforward and simple. If you fail this class it is simply a lack of effort on your end and is 100% your fault. I absolutely loved taking both of her classes for 1301 and 1302.
