Dr. O is a very motivated teacher. She tries to get everyone to understand everything before moving on, and is willing to help outside of class. She posts the notes online, but going to class is recommended. She does in class quizzes to helps grades and curves when necessary. Great teacher!

Excellent teacher. Very patient and helpful. YOu have quizzes, and she curves when necessary. You'd have to actually attempt to fail on your own, passing this class is not a problem.

She is a good teacher, and I beleive she will only get better. The work load is not hard, and she grades her tests fairly. If you are taking Ochem take her. I have Welch for Ochem2 and it is not working out as good.

She was a great teacher who tested only from her notes (textbook not required, but she does give you suggested problems if you do buy the book)Tests were straightforward, not easy but if you studied then you understood. She was very flexible and worked hard to help you understand the material. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND her.

Good teacher, very helpful if you show your serious. She tests completely on her notes and she won't make you learn all the reaction mechanisms, which was a plus. I had some concern that some of the material not covered would be necessary in 3342 but there wasn't much left out. Study and you'll do fine.

I love her! she is willing to help an will repeat something for you a 100 times if u need it, she cuts out all the bs u dont wanna know and probably dont need and is a great teacher.She is very fair, and cares about your grade.

TAKE THIS CLASS. Dr. O is extremely helpful. She answers every single question even if it is a dumb question. She is very smart and knows the material and is all about helping you make a good grade if you are willing to work a little. Powerpoint notes and tests are semi hard, but she curves alot and gives plenty of extra credit.

VERY GOOD TEACHER. She answers all of your questions and moves at an easy to follow pace. She is very laid back and she knows exactly what she is talking about. Her tests are kind of hard at times, but she curves alot and she gives a bunch of extra credit opportunities. Take her class for sure.

GREAT TEACHER! She makes the tests fairly easy, just go to class and do the homework. She gives LOADS of extra credit and it helps your test grades tremendously. Her extra credit can make a C go to an A.

Dr. Osborne was a great teacher. I hate chemisty and I am horrible at it and I pulled a B in the class. She will do whatever it takes to help you succeed in the class. She wants her students to understand the material and make the best grade possible.

The best science teacher I have had since high school . I am not the best at an science but she is the best teacher at Southern hands down . She provides you with help and study guides and the homework is manageable and so are the quizzes. Extra credit given on each test AND THE FINAL . Take her because she is very helpful . Professor Osborne was amazing she gives a ton of extra credit which can really make or break some of your exams. Ended up with an A on the final purely because of extra credit. She is easy to talk to and very willing to help you, but I wouldn't recommend asking for help at the last second.

While all her lectures are online going to class helps you understand everything much better. She will help you get the best grade possible. I am bad at chemistry and got an A.

Dr O is great. She is so real. I have a B in the class so far, but Im trying to make an A. She helps out anyone and she can basically teach Chemistry to a dummy. She does not take attendance for her class, only for the lab. She gives extra credit on every test. If everyone does bad on a test or quiz she'll change the grading scale.She is great! :)

Dr.Osborne has been my best professor yet. Extremely helpful. She will basically reteach and give more info in office hours. This course is relatively easy if you study. Notes are put online for every lecture. Lab is easy to get a 100 in. Extra credit is available for every test.

TAKE HER!! she is a great professor. She helps the students out a lot by giving out extra credit. Also classes aren't mandatory, but if you should up every once in a while, you should at least get a B in the class. I REALLY RECOMMEND HER!

Dr. Osborne is an AMAZING professor! She teaches very well and I definitely recommend her. She gives out 10 EC points for every test and 20 for the final. Replaces lowest test trade with your final test (if higher). Attendance for lab is counted though. She posts grades the same day as you take them. I made a 94 in her class!!

I hated chemistry in high school and started this class thinking i would be lucky to get a C but i ended up getting a 98! she gives out a ton of extra credit and rewards those who show up to class. she really knows how to explain chemistry and i learned more than i expected to. if you have the chance you should take her!

Attendance wasn't mandatory, but for me it helped a lot. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT & go to her after class or during office hours for help when needed. I highly recommend her.

Attendance was not mandatory but the only way to really grasp the material was by going to class. do ALL of her extra credit because it'll REALLY help your grade, i ended up making a 98 on her final due to 20 points extra credit. she's very helpful but doesn't like when people wait til the last minute. Professor Osborne is AMAZING! She really helps the students, and she explains everything until it is as clear as glass wiped clean with windex. Chemistry is a hard subject, which makes her all the better. Definitely recommend her. She gives tons of extra credit, and attendance is optional (though definitely recommended). She gives extra credit on tests and final which helps a LOT. i got a 97 in her class she is very helpful and knows what she's talking about. attendance for class is required but you should definitely go she will answer any and every question until you fully understand she's AWESOME!

She's really nice and the best chem professor at GSU. The material's a little dull/hard (in 1152) but Dr. Osborne is helpful...it's just that the lectures are BORING but you will definitely get an A if you just study and try. You dont need to get the textbook cause everything's in her powerpoints

Sweetest professor you will ever take. She offers a lot of bonus on the tests. The final was cumulative, but she gave us an opportunity for 20 points extra credit. Also, she dropped lowest lab grade and lowest test grade. TAKING HER IS A MUST!

Dr. Oz was awesome. Her lectures were clear and easy to follow due in part to the fact that she posts lecture notes the day before class. She answers any and all questions asked during lecture and she will explain a concept as many times as necessary until you understand it. She offers SO much extra credit and easy points to boost grades.

Dr. Oz is a wonderful professor, my favorite actually. If you go to class (especially on quiz day), attend SI, do all of your homework, and attend lab, you will do well. Attending class is optional, but if you want an A or B, attend. If you study for the tests, you should do well. I missed a homework assignment and failed a test.. still made a B.

I love Dr. Osborne ! BEST PROFESSOR at GSU. lectures are the test, if you get 1 wrng that she bragged about she will give you a pop quiz next class. I'm taking her online course for the summer term. Helpful, only 3 test but you have to pass or you will fail. Participation matters just because she will probably give you extra credit but I LOVE HER.

Great professor! Really wants you to learn the materiel and is always helpful if you have questions. Tests are straight from the lecture, never bought the book. Some simple in class pop quizzes by clicker and online homework for each unit. Easy A as long as you put in the effort and take the time to study.

Dr. Osborne is the best Professor at Georgia Southern. Chemistry 2 was one of the hardest courses that I've taken here, but Dr. Osborne is there to help when you need it. This course is difficult, but she is the only professor worth taking with it. She also gives plenty of opportunities to boost your grade. Dr. Osborne is AMAZING.

She started the semester going through lectures very slowly, but got behind and had to rush through the second half of the semester. She blamed this on the class and got very angry about it. Also, the points stressed on homework generally are not reflected on the tests.

She is an incredible and hilarious professor! Chemistry is not my strong suit, but tests are very straight forward and cover exactly what she covers in class. She gives you study guides and extra credit opportunities. Print out notes and go to class, and you'll get an A. She even replaces your lowest test with your final exam grade if it's higher!

Lordy, she is the best of the best as far as Chemistry professors on campus. Finishing up online and we had a Module due every week ( Discussion, Quiz, & Lab or Worksheet). Overall, everything was explained well and if you needed helps she was there for you. I struggled to keep an A in 1151 but with her, long as you put in effort it's not hard!

Love her! Although I didn't pass the class I will take her again. The class is only hard if you don't study and go to the tutoring classes her TA offer. Her notes are great and lab is great if you have good partners. Study and ask questions!

It's chemistry so of course it sucks, but she's such an awesome professor. She actually makes lectures worth coming to. She makes sure everyone understands the material before moving on to next chapters. She also enjoys making relationships with her students and offers extra credit and tutoring sessions. BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Went into Chem not knowing what to expect but she is by far the most reasonable, fair, and understanding teacher I've had. She is probably the only professor ever who will it get behind in schedule just to make sure that all your questions are answered. Shes also very available for office hours and will break things down.

Online Chem sounds scary but was completely doable with her. I had her for lecture before this and she was amazing during her office hours she'll lecture you gladly so your never really all on your own shes extremely helpful and is willng to work with you as long as you put in effort. I love Mrs. Osborne! She knows the material up and down and will always help you. She's funny too, but don't disrespect her! I had her for 1151 and am taking her again for 1152 OL soon, and I'm not even nervous because I know she is willing to help anytime I need her.

I took her chem 1152 class online and it was way easier than I expected. Her online lectures are extremely detailed and helpful. There isn't too much work for each week and the labs are pretty self explanatory. I would take her again, even if it was an online class.

First 2 tests are in class, 3rd is take home and then the final. She gives so much extra credit for the final because it is so hard, so you end up doing well. She will help you with anything!! Theres a reason this wonderful lady was made teacher of the year in 2018. Shes one of the few professors who really gets to know her students and made chemistry really cool and enjoyable. She notices the slackers tho so keep that in mind if you think you can slide through her class. Overall, great professor!

Dr. Osborne is too legit! Two tests that aren't insane, but enough to force your effort followed up with a take home exam. If you fail this class, you're lazy and dumb.

The material is hard but she makes this class really easy. You have to be extremely lazy and never show up to fail. Attendance isn't mandatory but shes super observant and notices and you'll know she knows by your quiz grades and final grades. To get an A study,do the homework,show up, and talk to her so shes familiar with you. MAKE YOURSELF KNOWN!

I used the textbook for the first few weeks, but after that I stopped because her material was all I needed to learn. If you can, definitely take her class!

I took Dr. Osborne for Chem 1151 and 1152; she is AMAZING. I could not recommend her more! She has by far been my favorite professor yet because she genuinely cares about her students and their grades. She holds weekly help sessions if you need extra help outside of class. However, you do have to put in the work for your grade.

Dr. Osborne is a great professor! Her expectations are clear and simple. You typically have homework, a lab, and quiz each week. They are time consuming, but for the most part easy. If you manage your time in completing the assignments you will do well!

She was a great professor! If you go to class (not mandatory) and pay attention + study, you should do just fine. I spent a good amount of time studying but she gives so much extra credit. On every test, I got nothing lower than a 90 after extra credit. On the Final, I did pretty bad and got a 52 but after extra credit, I got an 80!

If there's one thing I can offer, it's to GO TO CLASS. I had an A all year long until the final exam (cumulative). I failed it miserably, but she curved it a lot so I was able to end with a B+. I missed 2 classes, and there was a pop quiz in both of those classes. I would have gotten an A. Don't be afraid to ask questions. She was awesome!

There are a lot of office hours for you to learn and develop within Chem. I would say even for a lab class the work was as expected. She really cares for your success and she will be there to help you through it. While I am not a chem major it was really awesome to take this class. I learned a lot more than other classes and she is an awesome prof.

Chemistry is tough and exhausting, but Dr. Osborne was a very supportive professor. She explains concepts very well and her study guide is very helpful, if you play your cards right you can pass easily with a high grade even if you bomb the final. The online labs were fun, and there really wasn't that much work to do, just a bunch of studying!
