If you do her HW. you will be fine on all the tests and quizz.

once you get past the accent she's really a cool teacher. she collects hwk once a week, and the group work is cool, extra credit given!! the tests are okay, she lets us use note cards!! too cool!!

I've taken her twice...Absolutely the best math teacher I've ever had. First day, I thought she was going to be tough, but this lady REALLY cares that you make it and also that you TOTALLY understand everything. She can explain anything you ask.

Tests are moderate. Quizzes are very easy. Sometimes it'll take some time for her to solve problems in class. But she'll solve them all eventually(at least in my class). Be patient. PS: You'll need some time before accquiring her accent.

I took her for Alg. 1 and 2 and discovered the best math teacher I've EVER had. She has an accent, but once you understand a few words that may confuse you, you realize that she's hysterical! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER! You will not be dissappointed.

If you want to learn and make an A...take Munding. She's the best math teacher I've ever encountered and CERTAINLY the BEST at Ohlone. Do your homework and study for tests and you'll ace it. She doesn't make up the material...math is what it is.

She is a really great teacher. i had forgotten almost everything i ever learned in math, and now i dont think i ever will again because of her. she has very good methods of teaching. if you do the homework and take notes you will do great on tests.

Yeah, she has an accent, so what. Learn to deal. Assigns a lot of homework. Helped 1 student in our class who was really struggling. Became a better student in other classes too. A pretty cool teacher. Actually cares about students who work.

She's a real teacher, for people that are smart or willing to work to get smart.Her lectures are "hands on",based on logic.If ur looking for an easy class,just to satisfy requirements keep this in mind she will make you learn math.All I can say is she's my best teacher so far!!!

She is really nice and she spents a lots of time lecturing for us, which is rarely seen in college. If you do your homework and take notes in this class, you will get A, because she not only judges on scores, but your willingness in math.

She is a very good teacher that will help you through the class as long as you do your homework, show up, and take notes. Its a college class, its not supposed to be easy people... I would suggest going to the math lab for like an hour before class, she will help you 1 on 1 there and it makes her feel better about you as a student.

Ms. Munding is the best teacher anyone could ever have. She makes math fun and exciting. She takes the time to answer questions and she helps those who does not get things quickly. She is very nice and is easy to talk to. Her lectures are excellent, easy to understand and are never boting. I absolutely recommend for everybody to take her class.

This was a self-paced summer course and she is eager to help with any questions. Tutors are there to help as well. Do your homework and practice, practice, practice before each test. You should do fine.

I don't understand why students complain so much about her. She is the most caring teacher I've ever met. She is willing to stay after class to help and answer your questions individually and she really gives you credits for effort. Sure, she does have an accent, but you will get used to it and if you really focus you will get an A easily!!!

Those who complain about her, do it because of their own lack of effort in the class and/or because of her russian accent which is completely understandable in my opinion. This professor is patient. She wouldn't move on unless everyone is clear about what she's saying, (which i love), as a junior high school, i was so afraid to even think about taking a class like this but she simply made it an easy breeze. Moreover, she lets you retake tests....!, you won't fail if you do homework,come to class and study, you'l pass

my favorite teacher of all time. made me love math so much. i understand it so well now. she is so nice and always has a smile on her face. she was always very open to talking with anyone who needed extra help and taught me to be on time and make all my commitments. i absolutly enjoyed this class.

she isn't a bad teacher she just knows a lot about math and obviously loves it but she gets really frustrated and seems to forget that most people aren't passionate about math. she can be a bit rude but i actually understand most of the material which is a miracle, but it's more because of course compass than anything else.

WTF is up the reviews of Munding.. i think she is an excellent teacher. she just wants her student to succeed so she goes in detail. she tells you whats on the test and she lets you make up tests and she drops the lowest 3 tests out of 7 tests... and there is one final which is not that bad...i would recommend her if you want to learn math. TAKE HE

Honestly, these people complaining about what a horrible teacher she is are acting like little kids throwing a temper tantrum, and its that attitude that led them to have a hard time in the class. As long as you're respectful, do your homework, and try your best she makes sure to do whatever she can to guarantee you get a good grade. Extremely help

it's math just do the work and you will pass, take her online course, trust me i have taken math 5 times at three colleges her online class is great.

Go to class and pay attention. If your stuggling but she see's that your trying, she will try to help. Can be very rude and has an attitude but you get used to it. Do the hw and go to lectures and you'll be fine. She is helpful and lets you make up tests. I wouldn't want to take her again but it's not the end of the world.

I am taking this in the summer. I struggle with Math BIG TIME but she makes it very easy. Explanations are complete and she is willing to help you. A few quizzes are online and there are pop quizzes in class SO STUDY!! A majority of the people in class passed the midterm. That should tell you how good she is.

So many complaints on here! Prob from students who didn't study or tried to cheat! Anyways... I took her in the summer and PASSED. I am terrible at Math but I busted my BUTT!!! She barely gives any homework in MyMathLab (another lie posted). Average is about 20 problems. Take another Math teacher and see how many you get per night!!

Took her Trig class in the summer. Very intensive, but appreciated the online homework assignments because help was intuitive. She is able to tell who is trying therefore she tries to help them. Now I'm in Pre-Calc and have WAY more homework, but it's slower paced.

People may think she is horrible because she is strict, but she just wants to help you succeed in math. Tests are fair, homework isn't too bad, and she cares deeply for math.

She assigns A LOT of homework, it's just time consuming. With math, it's either you get it or you don't. What i liked about her was that she gave us a lot of chances, such as giving us another chance to retake the test or do test corrections. She just wants us to do well. Her long lectures can be unbearable though.

She's a pretty easy teacher. I took her math 151 class that was mostly online. Very helpful, always around to help when you don't understand something. Curves tests like crazy. let's you retake any tests you did bad on too. All in all, good teacher, easy A if you do all the work, not much studying required.

I recommend her to my peers.She's very helpful.You get one-on-one explanation if you don't understand something. Do the Homeworks and I bet you that A+ is yours.

Do your homework and keep the grading scale in mind too. You get 1-on-1 help with Munding as well as her TAs. Everyone should register for her class.

Honestly if you don't pass in Professor Munding's class, you have nobody to blame but yourself. She often lets you re-take tests if you get a D or lower, and is typically pretty lenient on grading. She is super willing to help you even outside of class. She doesn't tolerate BS from students. Go to class, pay attention, do the homework = easy A.

Very helpfull person, she can come off a little mean the first time, but she's a very nice person and really wants you to pass, lets you retake tests multiple times to pass her class!

Prof Munding is great! I took her every semester for all my algebra preq. and she has always been helpful. If it wasn't for her believing in me I think I would of drop. The class requires a lot of practice in order to get good grades. Try not to fall behind on schedule and you will be fine. If she see you try, she will definitely help you pass. :)

She's the bomb! She's a great professor although I don't know about her lectures because I took her selfpace math 151a in the summer but when I needed help she was there. On the test easy, if you need help she'll explain the problem giving you the answer..just show up do the work,put in effort and your good. I enjoyed the class.

Only downside is the accent sometimes. Goes over all the material, grades fairly. Attend every class, do the homework, you'll learn the material and get an A or B.
