Tara is an awesome professor. Accounting can be a daunting subject, but she makes it more than manageable. She is super enthusiastic about teaching, and makes going to a class titled "managerial accounting" a lot more palatable. Her lectures are clear, and she prepares you very well for the exams. If you have to take this course, take it with her.

Tara is such an amazing teacher. I took her class Fall of 2015 and it was so interesting. Her lectures are easy to annotate and to the point of what you have to learn. She is very understanding about how some students have jobs, families and a life outside of school, and will work with you to succeed in her class. Professor Maciel knows Accounting and understands how to communicate the information. The class is tough and she does a great job helping you when you have questions via email or in person. There are weekly quizzes so you must prepare in order to get 10s on her quizzes. She challenges you through the quizzes. Must attend class to pass.

Tara is an amazing professor. There are 4 exams and if you get As on 3 you are exempt from the final. She gives you everything you need to know for the quizzes and exams so if you just study the material it will be an easy A. You get a chance for extra credit in Kahoot games, I never had to use the book but online code is required for hw.

Great class!! The material is tough but she explains it really well and makes it easy to understand. There are 4 tests total but they are multiple choice for the most part so it's not so bad. Definitely recommend this class. She is probably one of the best teachers I've ever had.

HWs were due every other week and very manageable. As long as you take notes for each chapter, you're set for the quizzes & tests. Skim her study guides before the tests for extra credit hints.

3 homework assignments, 3 homework review assignments, 1 quiz, 1 exam due every 3-4 weeks. Super self-paced. The SB review assignments take the most time (about 3 hours to do) and you shouldn't procrastinate. Class is on McGrawHill Connect.
