Great teacher lectures are always fun when debating the existance of pink elephants! Easy to understand and makes even the hardest problems seem easy. Always available for extra help fun lectures and the patience of Job for students that are falling behind
he was awful. he teaches only from the text book, and doesn't even really teach it. just takes the examples in the text and shows u how to do it. when it comes to tests or quizzes, it's like looking at something you've never seen. he always said "i'm giving you the tools, you're the ones that have to build the house" not helpful at all.
Fun teacher, jokes a lot during class. uses the textbook during almost every class. Homework is generally quite easy, but tests and quizzes tend to be hit or miss.
hilarious man. always willing to give bonuses and hints for exams and quizzes. does the best he can!
Funny Proff, but does not teach well. I enjoy math and the material in Math125 is not too difficult- but I barely learn anything in class since he does not explain anything. Even if you ask you'll get an answer you don't understand. Unless you're a math major and very comfortable with math and calc, don't take m125 with him if you can help it.
He's a decent teacher but he isn't the most organized. Lecture notes go up about an hour before class some days and it's hard to follow without. He's pretty open to talk with and tries to help. But the class is somewhat difficult if you aren't great in math.
Has a quiz every single class. Puts things on the final exam that he teaches during the final exam review. Dont really feel I can use any of the things taught in the class.
Nice guy but terrible at trying to explain concepts. Don't take Math with him if you're not really good at Math. He tries to explain but just doesn't get the message across. Even if you ask for clarification, you'll just get the same response.
He's nice, but ridiculously lazy, makes lots of mistakes, doesn't know how to deliver the information to his students. For me, I couldn't understand anything from what he's saying. Plus, the book was so confusing. Conclusion, FAIL.
very hard teacher. very complicated to understand and his exams totally out of the material he teach in the class. he love to make exams harder and want every one to fail. i suggest not to take this teacher.
Recommend not taking.
He was simply one of the worst teachers I've ever had! I teach myself the course from the text book, and that's not very easy! I HIGHLY recommend that anyone interested in math avoid this teacher! His tests and quizzes are incredibly difficult and he's not interested in trying to help you succeed!
He's nice but a very difficult teacher. Seeing as how this is already a difficult class, he doesn't make it any easier! I teach myself the class from the textbook and that's not easy either! If you have an interest in calculus, I HIGHLY recommend that you avoid him at all costs!
hes a nice guy and will help whenever you need it and is willing to give a few extra marks if you work hard, but isnt the best of teachers and some times doesnt realy get his point across.
He is a very nice guy, but is very bad at teaching, he teaches you homework material after you submit the homework, and tests are confusing and difficult.
Tariqs an awesome guy and tries to do whatever he can to help the students in any way. Although his lectures aren't clear sometimes, he's very helpful if you go to him personally and he treats his students as if they're his friends. he helps with grades a lot, like quizzes for bonus marks, or even cutting off midterm questions, etc. i recommend him!
Teaches directly out of the textbook. Assignments are long, but not difficult. Quizzes and tests are not difficult either, but his class requires you work on your own through the material. If you can't be self-motivated, don't take him.
There is a lot of homework. The homework is generally straight forward, his midterms questions are quite similar to his in class examples although there's 1 or 2 difficult problems usually you will encounter. Hes not the best prof for calculus, but at the same time hes not bad either.
Know his material and teaches ver well. Makes calculus fun and interesting amd has reasonable exams. Overall he designs the class in where as long as do the assignments and homework, you'll do pretty good in the class.
Tariq is an awesome guy. Teaches right out of the book and this was my second time taking calc 111. Tests were more than fair and if you just studied you'd do fine. I recommend highly. Funny guy and more than willing to go out of his way to help students.
For the love of God, please avoid him. Take my advice and do it. Horrible teacher, exams are "challenge" questions opposed to the easy stuff he feeds you in class. No way you can complete them because you've never seen anything like it!!
Tariq is the worst prof I have had at my 3 years at UFV. His teaching style is non-existent. All he does is do questions from the text on the board without explaining any thought process. He does not teach, he does the questions and expects everyone to understand. I pay 600 for a class NOT A TEXT BOOK.
Tariq is AWESOME!!! Uses funny examples in class, explains the material well, fair questions in exams, marks easy when needed. Material can get rough though, so don't miss classes and do give an effort to understand and remember what's needed! This class was my favorite this semester, Tariq has an awesome sense of humor and gives life to class :)
Unless you HAVE to take him in order to grad this semester avoid him! Not worth your time or sanity trying to survive his class. He's not a bad guy, but he never fully answers questions and is not a good communicator. You'll probably pass the class if you show up but it will be pretty horrible
Tariq is a very approachable professor, he is frequently available outside of class time to answer questions. If you are unable to make it to a midterm he is very flexible in finding another time for you to take the test. He makes the material interesting and he uses a lot of examples in class. He is a very friendly guy and one of the best profs.
Tariq is an awesome teacher. He keeps the class involved with corny jokes and likes to talk sports as well. Put in the work by learning with what's going on in class (as you always should) and this class will be easy. Majority of it is a repeat of Grade 12 Math! Great teacher with experience showing applications of all types of problems.
He's a very friendly and approachable instructor. He will always spare time in office hours or math centre for you if you ask him. His teaching is not stressful at class, but this course requires a lot of study outside the classroom. If that is not done, you'd probably struggle in the course and not agreeing with how i have rated him !
Tariq uses a lot of examples from the text book for his lesson. Always gives hints to what sort of questions to find on exams. However his test can be challenging. Very helpful with his students and understand it is a hard course and always tries to help everyone. Also can be very funny and makes jokes to lighten up the class.
Tariq puts a lot of time into his students and is always willing to help! You may find the course confusing at first but once you get used to Tariq's teaching style it is easier to follow. All notes and lectures are based on examples and when Tariq mentions "cute questions" expect them on midterms and quizzes! BUY THE SOLUTIONS MANUAL, SO HELPFUL!
Tariq knows his stuff but, is often very unclear if you have questions regarding homeworktestsquizzes by answering in a round-a-bout way. Beware of not so "cute questions" on tests and especially quizzes, often 2 question quizzes which are easy to fail. Tariq keeps the classroom light and fun, but be prepared to put in a lot of work.
Awesome teacher, a lot of fun. He's really helpful and wants everyone to get good marks. People just need to pay attention and get ready to follow along in the textbook. He'll give good examples and if anyone is confused he'll find a way to help them understand. Incredibly personable and easily the best math prof I've had.
Tariq makes a dull math class, upbeat and fun. He constantly had the class laughing throughout the whole the semester. He is a tough marker and you really need to spend time to review the concepts learned in class. At the same time he is helpful and gives you opportunity to improve. I would definitely take another course with him. Cheers.
Tariq is a fun teacher, but I don't understand a word he says when he teaches. He expects you to know everything prior to when he teaches it, but the criteria is so tough, it's hard to understand. He moves too fast through the work and his tests are incredibly hard! If I had a different teacher, I think I would have done well in this class.
He is so bad!!! Not good math prof don't take class unless u wanna be confused at the end of the semester when he decides to stop teaching!!! Highly recommend Ian if you want to actually learn. Goes through easy material slow and harder material really fast
Avoid this guy!!! The midterms and quizzes were super easy in comparison to the final, which was so hard. In the last 2 classes he covered 3 topics and put questions like them on the final. Spent an entire week studying for the final and it felt like I didn't know anything when actually writing it. Would NOT recommend.
Horrible teacher. Has no desire to teach and it shows in his lectures. Told us this was his last semester teaching the course and it showed. Didn't care whatsoever if we learned anything. Definitely holds a grudge.
Pro: Makes class really fun, bcuz (in his own words) Math 125 can be a bit dull. Laughed at least once every class. Friendly, helpful. Knows his stuff. Gave class some bonus points once. Con: Do the homework guys!. You will fail if you don't do practice questions & study. Also 2-question quizzes can be trickier than you'd think lol..
Great guy, Great prof. Love him
His teaching is unclear and he complicates the materials. his quizzes and tests are very hard. he let use write notes the whole lecture and in tests the questions are not related to the notes and practices he gives us. I don't recommend him.
Just awesome. Really good sense of humor, Great lectures very very interesting be prepared to discover pink and green elephants and best ever in UFV.
Every time a new method to teach us problems
go very deep inside the topic to make us understand every single term
Best teacher I ever had
Took MATH 125 two times with him; the first time in winter 2016 and the second time in winter 2017. The first time I got a 'P' and the second time a 'D'. He's friendly, but his method of teaching make the contents confusing to understand. Coupled with the content's enormous size, this course doesn't go well with him. Overall, avoid him.
Tariq is an okay prof... sometimes he seems really unorganized and unprepared. First half of the course, his tests were fairly easy and he was effective at teaching the content. Towards the end of the course, he was all over the place and the difficulty improved a lot. Alot of the course is done using a computer program and he seemed inexperienced
Dont buy the tb its expensive and youll barely use it. Prof makes things very confusing. Got a D the first time in stats and was prepared to do way better this time around until... got the same grade. So confusing and hard to listen to. Very boring. Doesnt explain things, online notes are good but dont tell you how to solve, hard tests, funny tho
Good prof and really wants students to be successful. Go see him after the final, he is willing to talk about the grade. The midterms and finals are fairly tough so make sure you go to all the classes. Would recommend him.
I personally found Tariq to be an awesome professor! Even though his lessons are based off of the textbook, attending lectures was very helpful for me because he does many examples on the board. Homework was online but given all at once (with deadlines) so you can work ahead if you feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend him!
Tariq is one of the best teaches ive taken for any math course, he teaches well and also gives you good feedback to work towards. Hes very approachable and takes pride in what hes teaching
hes an excellent prof! would deffintely reccomend taking him. He makes sur eeveryone understands things and interacts well in class. He makes class fun and marks your work well with good feedback. Always up for a good time in class and also teaches really well. Prepared for class and organized.
Never again. He's a funny guy but as a professor, he's just not a good person to teach material. Unclear expectations and explanations, not helpful at all. Quite let down with the amount of effort I put into the class.
Best stat teacher at UFV by a huge margin. Takes the time to ensure everyone understands the work, which I think is really important for a 1st year class. Would be great if he taught 226 or 320 as he'd do a wag better job of it than the guy currently teaching it.
He is a great teacher who thoroughly understands the material and explains it well. The quizzes every week are harder than the examples. Also, he is a very biased marker so be sure to kiss ass. As long as you attend class and kiss ass and A is very possible.
I would not recommend this professor. He teaches from the textbook but rushes material and expects you to follow along as he skips steps. Not clear on his expectations for midterms and finals. He is confusing and questions in class are easy but midterm and quizzes are hard, final was a bit easier. Said the midterm was delayed but was preponed.
Very unorganized and rushed through lessons, difficult to receive help outside of class.
I took Math 111 with him, he's very funny and his lectures are easy to follow. He only works out of the textbook. The homework assignments are very manageable and he doesn't give very many. Quizzes and midterms are hard though.
Great guy. Gave semi frequent quizzes and no homework. Very easy to talk to during class and loves to joke around.
Professor Tariq is an awesome professor who definitely likes to crack his math jokes. He gives helpful feedback, but is a tough marker. Things need to be worded very carefully when it comes to proofs and you should definitely be studying a ton for his exams. Overall though he makes you learn the material and it'll help you in future classes.
Can be very lazy during lectures, often leaves class early for his own convenience. Often forgets to make quizzes and postpones them. Does focus most of the time on material; however, relies on the textbook to explain big concepts and seems to worry more about making jokes with students during than on teaching entire section being tested on
Tariq encourages participation, and is responsive to feedback (if you need him to go over something again, just ask!) Can be a little disorganized so expect tests and quizzes to be delayed.
Cared more about cracking jokes and attending his own extracurriculars than the class succeeding. The first term test we took was mainly topics he had not taught, so trust was lost. Then we got very behind because of jokes and he had to repeat lessons because he skips steps constantly. The final was a mess as we only learned 7/14 chapters.
Not a recommended professor. Focuses heavily on examples and prefers not to delve into too much theory, for best results ensure you read the textbook sections due to be covered before his lectures. The textbook is a must with his classes, he frequently has the class work on textbook questions during class, then goes over them with everyone.
Tariq is a very nice guy. However, he is extremely unorganized and unclear. Avoid him at all costs.
Tariq is a hilarious prof! He is a little unorganized but as long as you stick to going over his notes, studying examples he does in class, and the few homework assignments he gives you will ace the exams. The textbook is a good supplement if you don't understand a concept. Very approachable and always willing to help.
One of the worst professors I have ever had the misfortune of sitting in class with. Spoke quietly, little to no experience with the course material, extremely disorganized
Tariq is funny and really knows his stats . He can sometimes get off rack and goes on about formula's you don't need to know, but on question puts him back on track, Always speak up if lost or confused he will go over it again. Tariq will always ask the class if they want to have a break or leave 10 temin early. If you are not practicing what he's
Please save your GPA and do not take this class with Tariq. His teaching style is all over the place, he's very hard to follow and he does not explain the material. The class is him teaching functions on Mini Tab poorly . He brushes over material quickly and inefficiently. He spent a lot of time picking on students and trying to make jokes.
Fun Guy. Show up to class and its an easy A.
Tariq is a hilarious professor, he likes to tell jokes and stories in class as he teaches.
The course was mainly using the Minitab program. It did not require memorizing any formulas, you just needed to know how to use a formula if given. He was very funny, and understanding and helpful if you needed to talk to him. The textbook provided good supplement, but showing up in class and understanding the homework/examples given was key.
the worst professor i came across at ufv, i would change my course before taking his class again, will teach you easy stuff in class and will test you on the toughest things on midterms and finals. made annoying jokes throughout the semester. TAKE SOME OTHER PROFESSOR FOR GOD'S SAKE
bad....................................................................................................
The Best Math proff at UFV. Funny guy. Attend all his classes and you will surely get A grade. His teaching methods are really good. Will surely take his class again.
Tariq is a super funny teacher. He makes coming to class very pleasant. He can go over concepts quite quickly so it can be a little confusing. You can ask him to slow down; he is very easy to talk to. He covers core concepts so make sure you pay attention. He is very clear what is on tests.
Even if its end of the world, donot take class with this guy. His teaching style is very ridiculous, quizzes are way harder than what he teaches, and very dedicated to failing his students. he does not give damn if you fail unless you are the one sitting at front seats laughing at his jokes. So egoistic that he failed some guys ON PURPOSE.
The way he formats his exams and quizzes are so stupid. You are not allowed to go back to previous questions. I spent a lot of time on one question so I had to move forward afraid I was going to run out of time. He made an error so we had to skip a question, but that left so much time left that I could've used for previous questions.
Every midterm he gave us had errors, errors that negatively affected my grades. I am an A student and I did not get higher than a B- in any of his tests. The way he formats his online tests is either 100% or 0, and he has few questions. He is also very by the book, you do not do it the EXACT way he wants you to, your marks will suffer.
The quizzes and midterms are way more difficult than the notes and he is a tough grader, especially online. During the notes he gets corrected a decent amount of times by the students, that leaves me wondering what else he has done incorrectly and no one caught.
Easily the worst prof I had at UFV. He has awful sense of humour. He only cares about his pets that sit at front row and laugh at his miserable jokes. Tried my best to understand what he is teaching but did not understand a single word. Make sure you laugh at his jokes and if you go to him outside of class he would give answers before the test.
This course is content-heavy if you are not talented in this area, yet it is required for many disciplines. I found the instructor very patient in going over material anyone didn't understand. He listened to student feedback and adjusted some test questions as a result. Could be boring for a math genius, helpful for those struggling.
Great instructor who knows Statistics well and engages students in the lectures creating a friendly atmosphere! Listened to feedback from students and took time explaining questions and helped with exams and the homework.
I aced Math 111 and I understood literally nothing he explained. He is monotone, doesn't read chat during lectures. The only reason I passed was 20 hours of outside-class study trying to make sense of his recordings. He flits from one formula and explanation to the next without connection, just spamming numbers and letters onto the screen, so harsh
Marks hard. His quizzes and tests are way harder than his examples done in class. Do not take if you want a good grade in Math 112
Absolutely brutal! On top of massive workload, he posts numerous asynchronous lectures on unrelated chapters. Won't set test dates in the syllabus and was very rude when students inquired. Does not answer emails during office hours and is very short in the emails he does answer. Overall, a very negative experience.
It is really disappointing to see bad comments about prof. Tariq Tariq is one of the best professors I have taken math courses with, He will do whatever it takes him to make you understand the course concepts! He will always give you chances to improve your grade. The quizzes, midterm, Webwork assignments are meant to help you and so easy to do
TN really puts in the extra effort. He does expect that you put in the work; however, he gives you every tool to succeed. To spend more time on difficult concepts he would post extra lecture videos. Attendance and effort are really important. He knows the subject matter extremely well.
In this class only your answer mattered in the tests, he doesnt look at your work at all. His tests are structured where 90% of the questions are answer based only and if your solution is right and you mess up towards the end, its a zero. No marks for solution. Also is very rude to students, and will pick on you during class. please dont take him!!
Tariq is a very bad prof, he has no schedule for when his midterms will be he will just tell you little time before we get the midterm. He is also very rude and arrogant towards students and doesnt show any sign of respect. His midterms and finals are poorly marked as only the solution counts and there is no marks given for solution. Overall bad
Tariq is an amazing prof, his lectures are thorough, calculus is not my strongest subject however with TN's lectures I find the material easier to understand. He is accessible outside of class and if you are struggling with certain concepts he will provide extra help outside of class time to help you succeed! One of the better math profs at UFV!
I was really nervous to be taking a calculus course as I hadn't done any math courses since high school. Tariq is a really nice guy and assured me that the course would be manageable. He teaches by solving practice questions with us, and he is always willing to clarify when things are difficult. Doing questions from the textbook is very helpful.
Pro's - fast grader - friendly Con's - tons of mistakes on midterms and assignments - lectures aren't that helpful - though grader It is difficult to find a good math professor in general, so you could definitely do worse than Tariq.
Honestly truly a bad experience, shows no emotion or empathy towards any student. Is always nicer to the girls in the class and is rude to most of the guys. Course itself isnt too hard but he makes it complicated with online tests where no part marks given for solution, marks only for right answer. So u either get 100% on test or 0. Dont take him
Do not expect part marks on anything. Accidently swapped a single - sign? 0/5. He is not very good at explaining his lectures and they do not seem to make sense.
Honestly the worst prof to exist at UFV.His grading criteria isn;t clear as I got 0's in many questions for making small errors,no part marks given. Also very rude in class, he will yell and scold you in front other students if you make an error. He yelled at me because I was 30 seconds late to a meeting. He thinks he's untouchable due to his tenure.
I hadnt taken math since highschool and was hoping to upgrade to get a better mark. Quizzes were fairly straightforward and exams took long, but its also math. He held office hours and was always willing and seemed excited to teach. It was somewhat difficult but that is also the courseload, not him. lots of lectures but always worked with students.
Tariq was a little polarizing at first, but it quickly became obvious that he really cares about his students. He's easy to talk to, gets to know everyone in the class, and is always open to questions during and outside of lectures. The course itself was quite heavy, but he did everything he could to make it as manageable as possible.
Life's too short. Tariq's a great instructor, he made an extremely hard course manageable. Tariq provides a lot of examples in lectures as to what might be on tests, but it's kind of hard to understand the actual explanations he gives. Though, learning theory outside of this class and understanding lecture examples will result in success.
TN is amazing but you need to put in the work. He is knowledgable on the subject matter and has a wry sense of humour in the class. This is a difficult course that will prepare you well for subsequent math, life sciences, statistics and business classes. Listen to him, he is telling you how to succeed!
TN was great. At first it seems like he's distant from students and doesn't want to talk to you, but soon you'll realize he has a great sense of humour and he does care about his students a lot. If you're paying attention in class and asking clarifying questions, you shouldn't have too much trouble in his class.
TN is very knowledgeable, but I found his way of conveying information poor. He mumbles and often moves straight to solving problems before explaining the concepts. I ended up teaching myself many of the concepts after class. Only the occasional homework is assigned, but doing additional work from the textbook is expected.
I'm traumatized. He's a good person; however, he sucks at the teaching part. His class consists of him showing up and talking to himself while doing a math problem. To make himself feel like he's teaching, he'll ask the class 20 minutes later if everyone understands when literally everyone's completely lost. ONLY 10 PEOPLE PASSED THE COURSE
Tariq is okay. He is willing to help you if you need it, but even then I sometimes don't understand what is going on. I have never missed a class, but it is still so hard to understand what he is talking about. He is funny and makes jokes, you can tell he cares, he just needs to figure out a better way to teach.
A lot of people did not do well on the first midterm but I thought that the second midterm and the final were easier and definitely fair for the most part. I think him not teaching the class in a while had something to do with the first midterm. He does make an effort with students and makes jokes. All tests are based on his notes which are posted.
Tariq is a good person but a terrible professor. He is funny and tries to lighten the mood with jokes, but he's terrible at teaching. His lectures are pointless as they consist of him solving textbook questions for the entire class without explaining what he is actually doing. He also doesn't believe in part marks it's a 0 or 100 on a question.
Very nice guy who gets to know everyone and will help you if you ask him. His lectures/notes could use work though. He's often corrected on his work by the class which makes it confusing when you already barely understand what's going on. Learned more by studying on my own.
This prof is awful. You don't get any part marks so you do great or poorly. He doesn't explain things well and often does half the work wrong as hes explaining. No cheat sheet or formula sheet which is ridiculous compared to other profs. TAKE RACHEL - you get cheat sheets where you can add formulas and she gives part marks!
Do not take Tariq if you are a first-year student. His tests and exams are way more challenging than any other professor's, and his lectures are pointless since they consist of him talking to himself while solving a problem. He also does not believe in part marks. You're better off waiting a semester than taking his class.
He is distant from students and never gives direct answer to your questions. His lectures are not clear and exam questions seem really different from what he teaches. He is an extremely tough grader and never gives any part marks for the questions. Overall it was not a good experiences to take this class with him.
If you are not familiar with stats, do not take his course. He doesn't seem to understand the material he is teaching. His lectures consist of watching him solve word problems while he talks to himself while constantly being corrected by students. He does not answer any emails. The marks you receive from this course will be solely from tests.
Tariq is a challenging but rewarding professor. His lectures can be dry, but engaging with the material and using resources like unstuck AI for study prep really help. Tricky tests, but worth it if you put in the work.
This was one of the worst academic experiences I've had. The professor was unhelpful, dismissive, and showed little concern for students' understanding. It often felt like they enjoyed making things unnecessarily difficult rather than actually teaching.
Tough teacher very difficult, will struggle.
Yes, stats 106 will be difficult. If you pay attention in class and put in some time studying you will be okay. TN knows all the students in the class by name and cares about their leaning. He's a tough grader but fair. I would recommend him.
never choose any course with him :(
THIS IS FOR BUS226. I am writing this as a warning for any and all UFV business students. If you care about your mental well-being, your grades, your GPA, or honestly if you care about anything at all, DO NOT take this course with this professor. It is worth it to wait a semester to take it with someone else. Average grade in my class is a fail.
Very little practice material for prepping for the tests. The homework given is often not relevant to what he gives on the tests. Doesn't post his lecture notes. He mumbles a lot, seems like he doesn't wanna be there. Wording on his questions is often confusing. Overall, he's a funny and kind person but not who I want as my professor.
I would never take class with Tariq ever again.
He has no homework, no textbook, no review, nothing other than the lecture notes and a recording of the lecture. This makes studying for his tests very difficult since tests are 70% of the grade. He also doesn't mark things fast meaning you will have no gauge on how you are doing. There is 3 weeks left and I have only gotten the first 2 tests back.
Professor Tariq Nuruddin may seem strict at first, but he's a supportive and professional instructor. He explains complex topics simply, uses real-life examples, and genuinely wants students to succeed. Your success in his course depends on your engagement and respect for the learning process.
He is a very nice guy and his class is fun. He is also trying to make a hard class easy. The problem you will face is that his language especially the wording of his question is super hard to understand. He is also not uploading completed lectures notes. His language in his exams and quizes will make you lose about 5-10% of your grade.
He's a good guy his classes can be boring sometimes but that's just the nature of stats. It is clear that he cares for his students and wants everyone to succeed. He also seems like he enjoys and is passionate about his career which is refreshing to see in a prof.
The classes I took with him were a bit hard, and there was a learning curve, but that's to be expected because he teaches harder course materials. But what I really appreciate is the human touch in his courses; he is one of the nicest professors and is very supportive and understanding. Just stick with him, and you'll see. wish I could write more
I never wore my seatbelt while driving to school because I wanted to die before making it to his class
Tariq is a fantastic professor that cares about his students and is willing to go the extra mile if you need help. Since the courses he teaches are generally on the more difficult side (math, stats) know that attending lectures regularly is your best bet. Put in the work and you'll get an great result, and again, go to him for any questions.
Hes a funny and nice person. Awful teacher whose everything is only based on like three tests. Gives zero part marks and expects everything done his way. Hes funny though.
So unorganized, never answers emails, you must attend class notes are useless if you don't.
Tariq is a nice guy and everything but he's always so quiet you really have to pay attention during lecture and takes away full marks if you format the explanation a little wrong always be on top of things make sure you practice constantly and taylor it to what he wants. Funny guy but a not so great prof.
Genuinely avoid at all costs. Tariq is probably the funniest professor you'll ever have in your life, however your grade will be the most depressing thing of your life. He is a great guy and funny but genuinely such a bad instructor. So bad that after the FIRST CLASS I had to walk up and ask if I was missing a pre-req. To pass had to self-teach.
I can not understand his English.
