Miss Williams is a very knowledgable and clear speaking teacher. She does not try to trick you on the tests, everything that she covers in detail in the powerpoint is on the test. If you know it, you will earn a good grade... She is quite helpful as well.

Have her for Micro Economics. Classmates think shes hard and she doesn't explain things well. I think shes great teacher and would recomend. Just study do your work and on her project at the end of the semester know your stuff for lack of a better word.

I am amazed at these comments - Miss Williams gives you the study guide for the test a week before and if you can answer each question(which you can easily do if you copy down her powerpoints note for note) you will earn an A. She is excellent at explaining points if you ask her. Superb teacher...

The one thing I can say about this teacher is that she is clear and organized. She stays on track and tells you exactly what to expect from her class. The group project can be a pain if you have lazy people in your group, but she is pretty understanding in that regard.

A quick lecturer. Difficult to copy down the PowerPoint slides that are whizzing by and note her lecture at the same time. She is knowledgable and will further explain things if needed. Not much homework, but studying is necessary for the tests. And be sure you pick a good group for the project.

She does tend to talk a little to fast. However, she is a nice and smart teacher. She's always willing to explain things if you need more help understanding. Do you work, read, and study. If you do those things you'll be just fine.

Study before tests and do your work. You practically get extra credit on EVERY test. Pay attention, takes notes, pass.

I didn't have the book and still passed with a B. Just as long as you attend class and take notes you should be fine. The group project is an easy A, and make sure you partner with another student in case you miss anything. She might be a fast talker and a bit distant at times, but shes cool w/ the questions.

3 exams 60% of final grade. Attendance 7%, weekly newpaper reports 10%, Life map essay 3% grade 1 group research project 30%. "HONORS CLASS". I learned a lot but I also study alot and I normally dont have to have a B average in the class.

Professor Williams is a very good teacher. She goes over all the material you need to pass her test. She even gives study guides to what will be on the exam about 2 weeks ahead of each test. Her choice of words on the test may seem tricky, but she uses the same verbiage when she teaches it at first in class. Plus, she has a great smile.....

Yes she expects alot from her students but she gives you all the tools you need. i have taken 2 of her classes and noticed that her classes are much more enjoyable with student participation. if you are not a morning person do not take her 8 am class. if you need something clarified i found her to be very approachable.

HONORS. This class is not an easy A. There is a lot of time-consuming work, and studying is a must for the exams. The project will stress you out to no end, and take up all of your free time. HOWEVER- Prof Williams is fair and an excellent teacher. You will gain a stronger understanding of Macro from this class.

Provides other ways besides tests to boost grade. Do the study guides, for they will help on the tests and home work also helps. Not the easiest teacher, but for economics was great!

I would recommend her to any students prepared to work. I personally enjoyed this class, and I found her to be a good teacher. She gives quizes once a week, but only count as a grade if the average is higher than a test score. Do the homework, it is VERY helpful on the tests. As long as you pay attention in class, and turn in hw, you will do well!

Awesome professor! I took her for both Micro and Macro and I learned so much. Her tests are hard, especially the second test, but but you can do well if you answer questions how she tells you to. HW is fairly easy, but takes time. Weekly quizzes, which if quiz ave. is higher than any test then it replaces it.

2 big tests throughout the semester and one final. Tests are in 2 parts: scantron and essay. Essay's are half a page and need to be verbatim from the book or you lose points. Final is scantron only and 100 questions. 10 quizzes which replace your lowest test grade (test 1 or 2). HW and study guides are provided and very helpful. I would take again.

Easy class, Debate so easy, hw= 1 per test. Tests are pretty difficult tho.. not everything is off of the hw, which I assumed cus it looks exactly like the study guide. hard to know whats on the test but studying the concepts and random questions that pertain to them will be helpful. 2nd test is no where near as easy as 1st. Id take her again :)

Mrs. William is pretty easy. Her debate project was fun and easy to do. Also if she sees you try your best at homework she will give you full credit for trying. Overall, take her class.

This is one of the best professors in Valencia. You should not fail this class no matter what. She explains very well then she does quizzes that you can use their average to replace the lowest test, also she gives a lot of extra credit opportunities. I would say take her.

Best online class I have ever taken. If you do the homework and complete the assignments you will get the tests no problem. Only thing that is annoying is the 3-5 assignments due every week and she releases things each week. No way to get ahead, especially over the summer, vacations are a pain with having to do homework.

Prof. Harris is very knowledgeable of a complex material. Economics is no joke. It is very subjective and extensive. This is a typical COLLEGE class. Lots of reading, writing, and not so easy group project. However she give credit for just about everything, including attendance and participation. Quizzes average substitute lowest grade (not final)

Professor Harris is very clear and on point with her standards. You will have to work and home work but as long as you complete and turn it, you will pass!

Pretty good. Focuses on the technical aspects of economics. You need to focus on understanding the material rather than memorizing. Exams are online which allows you to use your textbook. LearnSmarts are easy but the homework assignments are somewhat challenging. I personally found her to be very helpful.

While it was a tough class, Prof Harris provided extra credit & was providing constant feedback to ensure everyone had a chance. Specially when most of the students in the class were switched to an online due to Covid-19. She even did Zoom tutorials to help us work through the problems and FAQs. Very caring and empathetic. Book was free!

Fastest email responder ever. Shes super nice. All her exams are on quizlet! Only 2-3 easy discussions. Main worry is the Learnsmarts each week but they are graded based off completion, not accuracy. SO much extra credit too.

Professor Harris is a good professor overall. The online platform used for the class prepares you for the material and for the test/ quizzes along the way. The only drawback is her lack of presence in class. Even though this is a strictly online class, I was hoping for some form of weekly meetings as a class. Overall still a good professor.

Professor Harris is a great professor. People have to be transparent and keep in mind that she teaches both in class and online simultaneously. Economics within itself is about reading and research so of course you're going to have to read and do a lot of homework, that is how you grasp concepts. I am also taking her for Micro Economics.
