Lessons are easily explained, homework is not required but you should do it to get more practice in. Quizzes every monday over what we learned usually the friday before. Tests are short and he reviews them with you before the test and will answer any questions that you have. Overall a great teacher!

He is very clear and gives detailed explanations of what he's doing. He gives homework and goes over it in class, but it is not graded. That being said, it's math so don't expect to do good on the tests if you don't practice. I gave him a three on easiness because its calculus, and most people struggle with it. Taking him again for Math 212.

I enjoy Math, so maybe the class was easy for me. But, he was a great professor. He explained everything and was consistent. Homework wasn't required, but they were helpful for practice and he used those problems for quizzes and exams. Plus, if you didn't do the homework. You would be lost at the next class. Great teacher, highly recommend.

After only having Prof. Baldwin for one class, I must say he is one of the best math professors I have had at this college period. Sad to say I failed his Calc 2 class, but definitely not because of him or his teaching methods or clarity. Great, organized instructor. HW on Khan Academy. No text book needed, which is a plus. He answers all the questions you may have within 24 business hours. He prepares you for exams with study guides. You do not have to take the final if you are happy with your grade or drops your lowest test score. Definitely would reccommend.

One of the best math teachers I have had. Showing up to class is not required but I do recommend it. Tests are the only thing graded for my class. One of the best instructors at MSJC. In class, he will answer all of your questions even if it takes up the whole class period. Class consists of 4 exams that have similar questions to the hw. He gives a study guide for exams. At the end, you can do test corrections and get back up to 10% of ur grade by correcting all of the problems u got wrong.

Taylor Baldwin is an awesome professor, especially if your majoring in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering. He gives examples of Calculus with respects to computer architecture. He seems to be enthusiastic about computer circuitry and codding. He reviews before each test, but do the even and odd problems of your HW.

He has been the most caring professor I've had and likely the rest of the class has had as well. He is quite passionate about maths and sharing it with others. It was not uncommon for he and I to hang out outside class for an hour a week so, we could solve interesting unrelated maths questions I'd come up with for fun. I really appreciated it.

Great class! No textbook necessary. Almost everything was done on Khan Academy. There are only a few tests and each is only 10 problems each. Before each test he gives you a study guide with similar problems. There is no excuse to not get an A in this class. I highly recommend!

Took Prof. Baldwin for Math 110, Math 211 and Math 212H. One of my favorite teachers! He takes the time to go over any questions in class and office hours. If you do not do well on your tests he gives you a chance to boost your grade by doing test corrections. He also leaves comments pointing out what was wrong which makes it easier to fix.

I took Profesor Baldwins online Math 090 class and for me, it worked with my schedule perfectly. No textbook required, however you have to purchase cengage to complete your homework. Weekly discussion posts for math equations and allows one test corrections on a question you missed. About 6 questions per math test through proctorio. Good proff.

This was definitely one of the hardest online classes Ive taken. This class is self paced so even though assignments have due dates, you dont have to complete on time. I do highly recommend completing them on time because the workload is way too much to try to cram in last minute. Hes very helpful, and gives good feedback on assignments.

Statistics is by the far the hardest class I've taken. Professor Baldwin offers great feedback, and quickly! He gives the opportunity to correct problems or projects if it's sent to him, and will give full credit when you correct it per his instructions. He is a great professor, had very clear grading criteria and he offers help when needed. He is understanding and lets you turn in work late (if requested in advance at least). Prof. Baldwin provides a free textbook. My class was transitioned to online because of the COVID outbreak & this class was easy to follow. No exams, only projects using real data, but there are online quizzes (even when the class was face-to-face) that are open book & open note. This class was peaceful for me, I never felt overwhelmed.

*Intro Statistics* I never went back to college because I was a terrified of math. This instructor could write a book "Statistics for Dummies", he was amazingly good. Although it was an online class he gave us the work and at the end of each assignment, he made videos for example. Easy to understand and used "English words" . Very Good professor.

I feared the statistics class but Professor Baldwin had great instructional videos and discussion throughout the course to help when needed. He gave feedback and answered all questions in the discussion boards. If you keep up on the homework you will do great in the class. All tests where open book and note. Do the work and get an "A"

Professor Baldwin is extremely organized which helps you plan out certain things you need to get done. All modules have 1-3 videos explaining the criteria. I would definitely take him again, he answers emails pretty fast and will attach a video explaining your problem, and from being a more visual learner it definitely helped a lot !

Statistics is not a easy class to pass , but Professor Baldwin was excellent in explaining the formulas needed to tackle it . I found stats more interesting than Algebra. Baldwin is really good. He does lectures 3 times a week (which is recorded) so you can watch later. He uses My Open Math (OER free textbook), so you dont have to pay for anything. He is patient and explains everything in detail. He has a forum for students to post their questions (which he answers with a video) so you know what to do. Hes theGOAT

I took Baldwins statistics class after being out of school for many many years. Live attendance isn't mandatory but it makes a huge difference in how you absorb the material. He made statistics as easy as statistics can be. He really cares about his students. He provides late passes for assignments, because sometimes life gets in the way. Take him!

This professor uses programming language R as a calculator to complete his class, so it was really cool to "code" to solve problems. He explains basically every single homework problem in a video. You can submit any quiz or exam before the due date and he will review it and allow you to fix any mistakes. He definitely wants his students to succeed.

I really enjoyed Professor Baldwin's 140 class. He is a really good instructor. He really explains things out and provides resources for you to go back to when doing practice assignments or tests. The tests and exams are open note and you have plenty of time to finish. I would take this class again and again. There is no professor like him!

I took Prof. Baldwin's MATH-140 Intro to Statistics through the "online anytime" method. The material w/in the first third of the class was understandable however, after that, it became tougher to absorb. Despite that, Prof. Baldwin provides everything you need to succeed in a clear, concise manner. He also responds to requests for help fast.

I took 2 years of Calculus in high school and learned nothing. With Baldwin, I not only learned Calculus but also the reasons why behind each concept. His lectures were amazing and he is very patient with every student and does his best to help you understand everything. The tests are hard if you don't study but they are straight from the review.

I took this class for credits, I was so scared but the way Professor Baldwin has everything broken down is awesome. There are specific days to submit your work but, he gives you late passes too. Four questions just make sure to submit them with time because he answers back in the morning and only Monday- Friday. Totally recommend this professor

Professor Baldwin's video lectures are great, he makes the concepts easy to understand. The quizzes are honestly not too hard. They're very similar to the examples he goes over and the exercises he has you do. Towards the end, he stopped making his own videos and it got a little bit harder, but still doable. Our grades were based on 8 quizzes, which were all based on the prior 2 weeks of content (no cumulative exams). Everything was straightforward; Professor Baldwin was respectful, communicative, and explained concepts well. I had no complaints.

Calc 3 was amazing with Dr. Baldwin! The lectures are thorough and comprehensive, and he responds very quickly to questions on the homework. Online, our grades were 90% quizzes, 10% homework. He gives partial credit on quizzes, which are 2-4 questions, 5 points each. You get 20 Late Passes, which extend the due date of homework/quizzes by 24 hours.

Professor Baldwin is incredibly straightforward. As long as you understand the material (by watching his lectures and doing some homework), you'll be successful in his class. I had no complaints! He was clear and consistent about his availability, and was anything but condescending. It was a very simple class and a positive, low-stress environment.

I took his MATH 135 hybrid (Bus/Psych Calculus). Your grade is 2 weekly homework assignments (~8 problems averaged), and weekly quizzes (5 questions) all online. He is fast to respond to HW questions and his lectures are amazing! He also gives you 20 late passes and will give you more if you just ask. No reason to get anything below an A-B tbh!

I'm very grateful that I took MATH-140 with Professor Baldwin. There are 9 units in this course and all assignments are done through MyOpenMath. The homework is almost identical to the problem from the notes and the quizzes are the exact same as the questions from the homework, with the only difference being that the numbers are different.

This was my second time taking math 140, for it is a tricky subject. Professor Baldwin had an easy and clear set up, gives all the material necessary to succeed, and is there for any help you might need.

Highly suggest this Professor, it's all through my open math (which is free), and the professor responds to any questions with a video. There is homework due every day and you do have to use an online calculator, but the work is very manageable, and he explains each problem very well. Easiest class I've taken, and it was a 6-week course!

Teacher makes himself accessible to help, with no reason to fail his class. His lectures are very detailed, he creates a video example for almost every math problem that is in the chapter. There's also an open forum per chapter/section and you can upload a screenshot of the math problem you're struggling. He replies the same day or within 24hrs.

I liked this class because it was self-paced. I was able to get ahead. He doesn't open up quizzes until the due dates. He uses myOpenMath for everything. The math is easy and its a bit of coding because you must use the calculator incorporated into myopenmath program. If you take notes it will be easy.

There's a forum for each question on each section that you can post on, and he will always create a video response in order to help you understand the question as long as it's not last minute. He does a great job making sure he speaks out the lectures well. The textbook is one he created but the chapters are short with various examples. Would definitely take again.

The quizzes and homework can be tedious but they're very easy! He explained everything very well and set you up for success. It was very easy to ask questions if you were stuck on any of the units. I am honestly terrible at math and this was one of the easiest classes I have ever taken.

These are hard subjects to understand but he broke them down into easy digestible chunks and he is just good at explaining things. Only assignments he gives are quizzes worth 90% of your grade, and homework worth the remaining 10%. He gives great lectures and uses the homework to help you instead of an actual assignment. The quizzes are every class period but if you are following with the lectures and using the homework correctly its an easy class

I was unaware that his class consisted of computer formulas with statistics. I took it here and not at a university. His examples in the video show that on a quiz you select one at a time, but on the quiz you choose your answers before moving on, which lowers your percentage. The quizzes have second chances, but you can not log out to review.

As someone who is not proficient in math, and has failed in previous courses with other professors, I did really well (93.2%). I credit it this professors' way of teaching.This professor is a great communicator and will give step by step instructions on how to solve problems. Highly recommend.

I took professor Baldwin's hybrid Math-140 intro to statistics class this semester and it was great. The work moves at a slow to medium pace, so it is easy to understand even for those who haven't taken a math class in a while. He explains everything very well during lectures and is always happy to help if you don't understand something.

Free textbook, recorded lessons, and in person lectures meant there were plenty of resources and material to help you study. There are 9 chapters each having some lessons and a quiz. NO final or midterm. Must go to class to answer a question at end of class, you cannot make up these points outside of class.

Was very nervous about taking Math however Professor Baldwin was amazing! His lectures online were very easy to understand and if we had a question he would answer back almost immediately through videos not messages which made it understanding way easier. Highly recommend him! We had to do work through MyOpenMath instead of Canvas,.

I wish every professor was as passionate and caring as Professor Baldwin. He genuinely loves math and teaching and it shows in his lectures. He can be a little heavy on the homework but it's always taught very clearly during class so it isn't too hard as long as you pay attention and take notes.

Professor Baldwin is an inspirational, understanding, and incredibly intelligent teacher. In my 2 years as an engineering student, learning difficult concepts like physics, math, and chemistry, I've never taken a class where understanding hard concepts was so easy. Only negative is that it's hard to see another teacher living up to my new standard.

I took Professor Baldwin's online statistics course. His lectures were extremely thorough and he is super understanding when it comes to late work. As long as you complete your assignments and watch his videos, you'll do great. I was super nervous about my first college math class but he made it enjoyable.

lectures were detailed, easy to understand, and correlated with the homework and tests. did not use any late passes, but he is very forgiving with late work. class structure is great, you can access assignments for the whole sem only need to wait for quizzes to open. forums are available to those struggling for himself or other students to answer.

Professor Baldwin is an amazing math instructor. His online lectures are detailed and he creates helpful videos to guide you. Homework and quizzes can be time-consuming, but unstuck ai is a great study tool alongside the textbook.

Such an easy class, all the assignments are unlocked but quizzes are locked until due date. He responds fast and walks you through problems if you don't know how to do them. There was no cumulative final, so your grade is only based on homework assignments and quizzes. Some of the videos were a little long, but nothing 2x speed couldn't fix.

Probably the most satisfied I've felt in a class. The layout of his hybrid stats class was extremely simple and easy to navigate through. His lectures were very helpful and I felt as though I was really learning the material. Admittedly, there is a lot of homework but it is very easy and doable. Very nice guy too. He's happy to help. Recommend!

Love this guy so much. Calc 3 is a 5-credit class, but he made it feel like 3. He simply taught the material he needed to teach, in order, and effectively. Has resources to get help from him on Canvas, and is more than willing to help in class. Also, no finals/midterms which is wonderful. Probably the best professor I've had so far.

Love this guy man. Made the material easier for us to understand, and taught it effectively. More than willing to help in person and online, and responds fairly quickly. Made Calc 3, a 5-credit class, feel like 3. I love the setup of his class just in general, and have thrived because of it. Plus no final/midterm which is always a win.

Super easy Stats class! If you are familiar with coding software, this class should be 10x easier. He uses a calculator software that makes everything very simple. Some lessons may be hard, but following his very helpful videos can help you complete the assignments and quizzes super quick and easily! 11/10, one of the best professors.

Baldwin is a great professor, I took him online, each week was around 1-3 short quizzes, with unlimited attempts you needed to watch his videos (around 10 min each video), and the quiz each sunday you had 3 opportunities, was very easy class, he explained very well the topics and if you needed help he will make a video expalining you step by step

Legitimately the best math teacher I have ever had

I am surprised this professor doesn't have a 5/5 on here! I took the summer online class, and I am not a person who finds online courses easy. I struggle with not being in a classroom but he made it so simple! 14 quizzes, 37 exercises, 6 discussions (super easy), NO FINAL, 30 late passes, and if you send him an email M-F, he responds within 24 hrs.

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! You have to want to fail this class to not pass. His canvas shell is absolutely phenomenal, homework and quizzes are set up for you to succeed you cannot go wrong with anything with this class. His video lectures explain every step of the way. Everything is open so you can work ahead if wanted to. You wont regret this class.

Professor Blake is a super genuine guy. As someone who got low C's in math in high school, he really helped to build my confidence in this subject. He's willing to help his students and wants everyone to do well in his class. 10/10 would recommend

Literally the best teacher! Plain and simple

Dr. Baldwin's class is easy if you pay attention to the lectures. It's easy to know what to do because of the videos he provides. Not only that, but if you are having trouble, he will make sure to help you step by step. A very great and caring professor would definitely take again!

Easy class. lecture videos are 5 mins and homework are only like 1-5 qeustions. easiest math class i have ever taken!!!

In short, you will regret not taking his course. If you are even considering taking a course taught by him, enroll immediately. I am not the strongest when it comes to mathematics and he made it easy. He provides 30 late passes and updated videos. If I were to state one negative it is that his weekly quizzes have a 30-minute time limit.

Very kind and knowledgeable. He does really well at going through anything thats confusing and hes super flexible on his work! A little hard to get ahold of outside of class but the homework isn't all that bad and theres weekly in class quizzes, but those are super easy.

Textbook is provided but I personally found the video tutorials more helpful. Professor was very lenient on late work, you're given I think 20 late passes for the semester. For the week, you're given 3 assignments, one quiz, and one discussion post. He answers your questions with a video tutorial. Would TOTALLY recommend!

Take Dr. Baldwin's STAT class and thank me later. Clear grading criteria and guidance. This is a very structured course and he is just a email away. Good Luck!

I was nervous about taking statistics, but Professor Baldwin made it a great experience. I would definitely take his class again.
