He really makes you think!

He is very reasonable. He does have a lot of papers and discussion post but his grading is very good. He will reply fast. I loved his classes I took 2 already and 10/10 he is the best.

There are lots of papers to write in this class with one being an eight page essay however these are things that are told weeks In advance. There are also lots of Connect Modules and discussion posts but overall this class was very easy and he is not a harsh grader at all

Although he assigns a great deal of work, his curriculum is very well put and he is great at responding to emails. His grading is fair just be aware of your deadlines because some are sooner than you think.

This is my first time attending college and I would have to say I was a little scared but having a professor like this one put me at ease with the way college will go for the rest of the time while earning my associates degree.

The professor made it easy to understand the chapters. He also explained assignments for the students to understand what was needed. He made sure if we needed help to ask him and he would help.

Lots of material you go over but if you keep up with a realistic timeline he presents then it's easy to get it all done. Creative freedom with writing yet strict, clear, and concise instructions.

Professor Tomlin was an excellent instructor. I took History 1302 online the work wasn't difficult as long as you put in the effort. All the materials you need are easy to access, and in his recorded lectures, he explains everything clearly, step by step. If you're considering this class, be prepared to learn a lot and write, but it's worth it.

Great course instructor. Well-planned and easy-to-follow curriculum. No syllabus Easter egg hunts. Always clear on what needed to be done and by when, so there was plenty of time for a student to plan around the course. Awesome instructor with a great course.

This class was very easygoing. He does lectures from a powerpoint during class. Assignments were dicussion posts, smartbook assignments, and one essay worked on all semester. His grading criteria was very clear, and when you have questions he is available. I would recommend his class.

I have had this Professor 2 times and had the best time having him as my teacher and would love to have him again.

This professor is very willing to work with students based on their personal needs. For example, during this semester there were times when I got very sick or was very busy with high school work (I am a dual-credit student) and this professor was always willing to give me the time I needed to complete my work.

This was a pretty relaxed class. During class, he delivers lectures using a PowerPoint presentation. Discussion postings, smartbook assignments, and a single essay were all completed during the semester. He is available for questions and had very clear grading guidelines. I would suggest his course.

The work follows a clear grading criteria and the course content is engaging, making it easy to earn an awesome grade in his course! Prof Tomlin is really chilled, but he teaches in an interesting and engaging way. And you can choose whatever topic you want for your research paper which is pretty cool.

I think this is the second time I have had Professor Tomlin as my instructor and honestly, his work assignments are simple to complete, note taking is never long but very informative, and he is very quick to respond to questions. Mr. Tomlin is a great professor and makes the lectures very easy to follow. Attendance is not necessary, however when you attend in class he provides great feedback on assignments and provides library work days which give a great time period to work on your research paper and receive more feedback. He also provides many chances for extra credit.

This professor was great, he uses loose dead lines which are very freeing and he's very understanding. The lectures aren't super interactive and can feel dry sometimes but the assignments are top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed this class.

This professor listened and acknowledges you as a student. He also was interested in my topic which I really appreciated and helped me find a source. 100% would take again. Lectures were also taught in a story mode so it made it a lot more interesting overall he is a great professor.
