He's hilarious, always joking. But don't get me wrong he is a excelent professor, he is very clear.
Stay away from his class. His tests are not clear at all. His study guid is pointless and not clear. He goes very deep, which is not necessary for introduction anatomy. It is hard to get B in his class. He is new in this college and in this subject. His is not fair teacher at all. On his test even you do not have time for answeing the questions.
WONDERFUL instructor. Very thorough and clear. Its a hard course, He is hilarious and makes class very entertaining! but you HAVE to put in the work, Test are Tough and Lab test are Tough as well, i will end up with a B after hard work.. during the up coming semesters he will make it even more harder.... Go to Valley if you can...
An AMAZING teacher. New to the school and that is exactly what pierce needed, someone with fresh ideas! I've had many awful teachers here but Prof. Lee goes ABOVE and BEYOND in teaching his students. From helpful study guides to mock exams, he wants us to not only know the material for the exams but ties it into his students interestscareer paths!
His tests are straight forward & gives you a study guide. There is extra credit, but you have to attend lecture in order to know what it is. He is very knowledgeable, so if you are having trouble in the class, don't just ignore his offered office hours. Do not expect to cram his tests and get an A. The key is to study ahead of time!
As a new professor to Pierce College, he does an absolute AMAZING job as an Instructor. He is VERY clear on what he talks about and is ALWAYS helpful and patient if you are not understanding the material. He does however, make you work for your grade. So don't expect this class to be easy.
Prof Lee's first year teaching at Pierce, but I can honestly say that he is one of the BEST professors ever. organized and clear on what he expects of you. Does everything to make sure that he can help in the best way possible. Gives inspirational notes and comic relief throughout lectures. Anatomy is a tough subject to begin, use study guides!!
GREAT PROFESSOR! This class was intense! But, that is simply because it is Anatomy. He really did absolutely everything to be very clear on what is going to be on exams(study guides & Extra Cred provided). Hilariousgreat at teaching. I actually learned not memorized. IF it is important to you, you'll find a way. If NOT you'll find an excuse. STUDY
He is the best. His passion is teaching and he makes the material so tangible to you. I am an international student and the way he teaches, made it easier for me to succeed. I wish he would teach physiology as well. I would definitely take him again.
Professor Lee is hands down the best professor I've had at Pierce College! He takes the time to explain everything and does his best to answer every student's questions but, as he points out often, your success in this class is gonna depend on the time you put in. Study hard, come to class, ask questions, and you should pass with an A or B.
Anyone should be able to get an A in his class if you study. His study guides are very comprehensive. if you do the study guides (he doesn't give the answers), you will get an A. There are no surprises. Four test (including the final), all multiple choice. His lectures are good, nice guy. Can get an A without attending, but you must study.
Professor Lee is favorite professor at pierce. Despite Anatomy being a tough class, obviously, he is compassionate, inspirational, and very knowledgeable. I wish he would teach physiology too!
Hands down he's "The best teacher ever!" I wish he taught Physiology too.
Lee is such a great teacher! His lectures are long and go into a crazy amount of detail, but he knows that and expects you only to know the general information. for the exams. USE THE STUDY GUIDES. They tell you word for word what he wants you to know on the test and nothing more. Gives extra credit, and he is always there to help!
dope teacher.
I am a UCLA graduate and have come across great professors in my life. But I must say, he is by far the greatest professor I EVER had. I left the last day of class very emotional at the fact that I was done with his class. He made complex concepts so incredibly simple. He really cares about you and takes the time to know each student personally.
Took Professor Lee last fall semester and I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. He makes everything clear and understandable. He even provides powerpoints students can print out to follow along with during lecture and studyguides for tests.
Wonderful professor! He is truly the professor that we all wish for when taking a class with one who doesn't care. He makes it fun, interesting, and lab is always a good time. He is very straight forward & doesn't try to trick his students. Study guides are the golden ticket for every exam.
You need to dedicate time for this class. Dr. Lee is a really good professor, maybe the best professor at Pierce. The study guides he gives are clear. Just answer exactly what he is asking for on the study guides and don't over think the question. You will have to work hard for an A in this class.
I could not have asked for a better anatomy professor than Master Lee. I took a 5 week anatomy class and was prepared to get my butt kicked just for a grade around a B-. Got a wonderful A, easily scored over 100% on practicals (he gives EC too!), enjoyed every single four hour class, and fully understood what I learned. Wish he taught physio!!!
Had him for the rigorous 5 week winter session, got an A! He makes lectures fun, and is always eager to help. He gives extra credit. Loves making his students laugh. I really wish he taught Physio!! He made anatomy amazing!!
He is an AMAZING professor. He cares about the success of his students as well as lightening things up so we could get a good laugh in. He is very inspirational and certainly gives great feedback but also motivational words. I would take and retake his class over and over again and I'm fortunate enough to be taking him in the fall for physiology.
Dr./Professor Lee is the epitome of a caring teacher. He posts all of his lectures (PPT slides), practice exams/assignments, and study guides on his Moodle. He is very professional and strict, but he gives his students all the tools necessary to get an A. Take him, come prepared to class, get an A, leave happy :).
He is one of the best professor I have ever taken! His lecture was clear, grading criteria clear, fair exam, and interesting lecture! He will inspire you to do well and willing to offer free workshop! Not an easy A since it is Anatomy class so STUDY. Note: you don't need the book but it could be very helpful
He is a grear professor! Take him! He gives you what you need to get an A! You have to work for it but its worth the while! Very inspirational and positive professor! Hes AWESOME!!!
Lee made Anatomy, a class I was DREADING, relatively painless. His class is no joke (lots of studying and attendance is very mandatory - he sometimes gives pop assignments/quizzes), but he's completely fair, really organized, and super engaging and funny - all the things you'd want in a professor. I highly recommend him!
Professor Lee really cares about his students. We were a class of about 60 and at the end of our summer class, he was able to remember all of our names. His tests are fair and match with the study guide that he gives out. You need to study hard, but he makes anatomy bearable and even fun. He is by far my favorite teacher ever.
I took the summer class. We had 3 lab practicals 3 lecture exams plus the final. Lee is definitely the teacher you want for anatomy. He makes anatomy interesting and applies what we learn to real life. He is also one of the teachers that gives a study guide that tells you exactly what to study for and extra credit. Hands down best teacher ever.
Dr Lee is everything you are looking for in a teacher. Labs were kind of boring, but lectures are crucial to attend. 85 is an A, 75 is a B... He is professional and has study guides and practice... take him!
BEST SCIENCE PROFESSOR! everyone fights to get into his class, he has a great chemistry with the class, is very professional, yet well balanced. His jokes are funny, and he'll go out his way to make mnemonics to help you memmorise things best way possible. I would love to take him for Physio
lectors are very fast and contain a lot of information, test are long and questions are not very clear on the wording (hard to understand). Essay's on every exam and quiz he's very specific on what content he wants, not very clear on the grading scale for that. Does not give extra credit just addition in class assignments that are worth only 1 pt.
Dr. Lee is one of the best professors at Pierce College. He has very good teaching skills-organized, easily to understand, hilarious. He made the anatomy study so much fun and easy. Definitely recommend him!
Difficult class but great professor. He gives you the tools to pass with the score you want. Just put the effort. Provides study notes, study guides that are EXTREMELY helpful, gives you points for the lab for trying. Quizzes are based on lab. You start off with 5% extra credit meaning a 85 is A, 75 a B and so on. Offers workshops before exams.
Prof. Lee is a well respected Professor at Pierce College he's one of the best Anatomy teacher. Sadly he's not teaching Physio on Fall'17 anyways work on the study guides as he discuss and lecture so you'll follow along and save time because there are a lot to cover and time management is the major key.
Professor Lee is amazing. Yes he's tough but he's fair. Attendance is mandatory, if you miss more than 3 classes he will drop you and don't think he won't notice if your absent, his memory is crazy accurate! Overall one of the best teachers I've ever had. Go to his office hours and you will pass his class. He genuinely cares about students success.
Dr. Lee is the best teacher I've ever had. I went to a UC prior to this class and he far surpasses even those at a university level. He genuinely cares for the success of each student and doesn't treat you like a number. He'll remember your name PLUS the 50+ other students in class. Great lectures &personality, funny jokes, workout tips. Take him!
Lee is a good professor. I took him this summer session and it was super intense, but he tries his best to keep you engaged during his lectures and inspired to finish strong. His memory is crazy and he remembered all 90 of his students.(although only 60 finished the course.) Take him
Professor lee is AMAZING. I took him for anatomy , he makes hard concepts easy and simplifies everything for you. He is super caring and always there if you need help. Always there to guide you. Lectures are fun wit his sense of humor. Tests are not hard if you study
Demanding with clear expectations. Fair and consistent. Does his best to show enthusiasm for the subject. Organizes the learning experience well. Wants you to do well with your best effort!
though lee is a good professor, his class is mainly test based. so if you are not a good tester and not good at memorization, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. it is very hard and you have to be very on top of everything because its very easy to fail.
Professor Lee's class was one of the most challenging classes I've ever taken but if you really want to learn please take him! My advice if you do, make sure you stay on top of studying and attend his office hours! Also, the tutors and the models at the CAS are great resources for studying.
AMAZING PROFESSOR. He is probably the only teacher I've had in college so far that actually cares if his students succeed. He is great at explaining fairly complex concepts and makes them easy to understand. This class is extremely heavy in memorization, so if you put them time in you will get a good grade. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
This class is. a lot of work, but he definitely made it the best science class I've taken. he genuinely cares for ALL of his students. He helps you tie you get it, I took it in winter and did great, as long as you put the effort you've got it . loved this class so much!
Dr. Lee goes above and beyond for you. I've never had a professor who cared so much about all his students. Have your module print outs, take good notes, and go to office hours. He gives you every opportunity to get an "A" if you want it. He is the best professor I've ever had. He also gives Extra Credit. Loved his class!
He is SO dedicated and caring. One of the most dedicated professors I've met. I'm not a science major and took Anatomy, and it was difficult for me because it was like learning a new language, but he helped me out a lot. He has a lot of workshops at least 2 to 3 times a week. He gives extra credit on his exams, and he keeps his lectures interesting
Wow best professor ever and one of the hardest class I've taken. He makes you earn your grade he doesn't give it to you. I failed his first test horribly and got perfect scores on all lab exams. Did decent on the rest of the lecture test and earned a high B. His memory is insane and one of the few professors that care about his students. Take him!
Memorize everything on the study guide. Lab practicals are hard. Too many names to memorize but that's what anatomy is. Record his lectures and listen to them. Try to study daily or at least every other day. His workshops are amazing, attend them.
Anatomy is not easy, and Lee is probably your best choice at Pierce. However, he's VERY strict and he's a very tough grader that doesn't curve. He fails students even if they're really close to pass. Tests are very difficult and expect to work with human cadavers. I'm not recommending taking other classes at the same time. A LOT of homework here!
If you study each chapter thoroughly, his tests are easy peasy and don't skim through the chapters. His study guide is what on the exams. Memorization and understanding the conception is the key to succeed his class. Sometimes his slides are a bit of confusing but reading the text will help. Good Luck.
This class was very fast pace , summer class.. some of the material was confusing what was on the test versus the study guide. He was very lieniant with my grade to help me pass with a C
Overall I really enjoyed Professor Lee's class. He made it fun and interesting and he really cares for his students. However I do not recommend taking this class in the summer because it is too much information. this class would have been a lot easier in a normal 16 week session.
Hands down one of the best professors you will take at Pierce! Hes very fair, understanding and is willing to go above and beyond to help you understand the material. Be there for lecture and take advantage of the study guides. Anatomy is a challenging subject but he gives you all the tools to EARN an A. You wont regret taking him, hes amazing!
He was clear with what he expected. A lot of memorization and learning new terms. He offered a lot of help in & out of class. There were about 3 exam and the final. Plus a few quizzes about once a week or so. Overall, great class and the prof does try to help ppl pass. Really easy to pass if you show up and take notes.
The ones, complaining, arent ready to be competitive to themselves. All excuses, wants an easy A. I worked full time and took the summer classes, and it wasnt easy. I managed it with a B. If you really want to pass the class, you better study. Professor Lee is tough but fair and funny.
Best professor ever. His after class workshops are a gem. I came into this with no science background, expecting to get a C at best. His after class workshops for students who are willing to study a little harder are the key to getting a great grade in the class. He is incredibly patient and the best and breaking things down. TAKE HIS CLASS!
Anatomy is a tough course no matter who you take it with. However, I would say that Lee is the most qualified Anatomy instructor you'll have. He always has workshops for 1-2 hours right after class. He doesn't believe in stupid questions so don't be afraid to ask questions. I would recommend using quizlet for the Lab practicals and lecture exams.
I took Physio with Lee after taking anatomy with him. Anatomy was a breeze compared to Physio so you need to hit the ground running on the first day. Do the study guides early and answer them with extreme detail. Use the textbook and lecture notes to answer the q's on the study guide. Use quizlet to study. His lectures are based off the textbook
Dr. Lee really cares for his students and gets to know them. Anatomy is a tough subject no matter who/where you take it. If YOU put in the work and time for it and really do study HARD you will pass. He gives study guides that really helps you for tests/practicals. Attend the workshops as much as you can and try NOT to take any other heavy classes
Dr. Lee is a wonderful teacher. He cares, he puts in his time to help you learn, and he motivates you to do your best. He gets to know his students and expects you to put in the hard work, but trust me you will get the grade if you do. Study guides are helpful but time is needed to do well!
The whole semester I did not learn anything. He just expect you to memorize every single detail by your own. Make a favor to your GPA and do not take him.
unfair grader, spent alot of time with the students that sucked up and fed his ego. Observed a few intelligent students that dropped the class to lack of support. Anatomy is hard but your attention and perception of students should not be dissuaded by how much they suck up or pretend to like you while they are rolling their eyes behind your back.
Could have been much better and better organized. For ex, teaching us as a whole class because some of the tutors were horrible at going through the models. It would have been better if he uses the tutors to review it with us (table by table). He's extremely nitpicky on spelling. To do well I'd recommend doing the ws on canvas first/review/memor
Anatomy is a hard class. It is all about memorizing. Dr Lee will go a mile to help his students, but he cannot to learn Anatomy instead of his students. He gives helpful study guides and life lessons, he is always available for his students. FAIR grading criteria and extra credit. Would definitely recommend him.
I think Lee is one of the best professors at pierce in regard to science courses. Here's the solid truth, anatomy is hard PERIOD, no matter where you take it. Lee is clear, fair, but you are expected to earn your A. Listen, if you put in theeffort, go to every class, do the study guides, and pay attention in class you will get the grade you want.
I have taken almost every science class offered at pierce. (Anatomy Physio with lee included). Anatomy was a joke compared to phyio. Fill out the notes and sg and get an easy A. Physio was a hard class, essays with not prompt not disclosed, 70% or lower averages. Do not get distracted and practice active recall and you will be fine
3 exams-multiple choice + written section, final is NOT cumulative, pre-lab questions-1 pt, lab quizzes-20 & lab group work turn-ins- 5. Print out the lecture slides & fill in/take notes on it during lecture. Not an easy class AT ALL, yet sadly he's the only "good/promising" physio prof at pierce. Gives both lab quiz + lecture exam study guides.
Dr. Lee is an amazing professor. He is passionate on what he does and knows his Anatomy and Physiology. Best Professor of Anatomy and Physiology at Pierce in my opinion. If you study the Study Guides, you will do well in the exams and practicals. You definitely need to study the material because it is a lot of memorization. I recommend his class :)
He will tell you, you need to drop that class if you're working full-time. Expects students to not work and focus on school so they can memorize the immense amount of information. This class was way too hard. If you work full-time, take the class with Dr. Burke, he's strict but very direct and has a lot of experience, he's a surgeon.
He is a great professor! i would recommend you to go to his office hours will help you with study guides with great visual presentation of the stuff you are trying to understand.(also a great anatomy professor) group work is included every easy points counts. Lab quiz are easy they go by study guides. Exam study guides will help. Study groups help
Do not enroll if you have a job and/or other classes. He expects you to drop everything to be able to memorize everything and explain everything. He jumps from chapter to chapter quiz or exam every week. I felt like we were rushed the entire semester. He needs to narrow down his teaching and give students key points to focus on. Too much busy work.
This class must be your top priority in order to do well. Exams extremely difficult, his study guides somewhat helpful (4 exams total), each exam has a multiple choice and an essay portion (go to his OH workshops to do well on essays). the lab quizzes were very reflective of the quiz study guides (4 quizzes). would recommend recording lectures.
Exams were extremely hard to get an A on, exam study guides helped a little. Exams have a written portion but its easy if you write them exactly how he lectures it (RECORD LECTURES). Quiz study guides helped a lot; lab quizzes easier. There are lab turn-ins, he grades based on if graphs are made correctly and if all the questions are answered.
I wish someone had told me not to take this class. His exams are VERY difficult, & he seems to get happy when people drop out. "Maybe its for the better" he says. I quit my job, & put my 110% into this class, yet he still managed to make me feel stupid and low. I have went up to O chem, but only he has made me feel this LOW! #NOTapproachable
Pr. Lee is very good. The most caring person and a wonderful Professor! Take him if you can, you will learn a lot about Anatomy and also about useful info for life. He really cares about his students. Grading criteria very clear, lectures are well organized. And he keeps learning things himself, getting better. It inspires a lot!! The very best!
you wont do well in this class if you have outside responsibilities. his workshop/office hours are helpful. exams are rlly tough but quizzes are okay. his study guides are extremely important to do if you want to do well, don't just answer the questions you have to have a deep understanding of the topics on the study guides. he gave EC at the end
Professor Lee is a really nice guy! Just pay attention to his lecture and take notes on connections to physiology that he makes. I'm taking Physiology right now and it's much easier to understand because he made connections during this class.
I would recommend if you are going into a health profession. Hes an amazing teacher and knows what hes talking about. Anatomy is a tough subject which is why I would recommend taking someone who doesnt pile loads of work on you. Exams and lab practicals are non passible. But you can make up for it with pre labs and other assignments and earn a C
easily one of the best professors i have ever had. there is 4 exams , 3 practical exams and a final. anatomy is a class where u need to devote time and effort. so dont expect an easy A. He is very caring and inspiring and always pushes you to do your best. I really recommend him as a teacher
This professor is well-organized. All you have to worry about is whether youre understanding the material (obviously). His tests shouldnt come to you as a surprise. If you read your lecture notes, you have nothing to worry about. Also, he provides study guides that summarizes the points he wants you to understand the most.
4 exams, 3 lab practicals, a couple of pre-labs, and a final. Anatomy is a hard subject overall so get ready to make it a priority. Pre-labs help and do every single assigned work to help your grade. Due to covid, his lectures are posted online and lab is on zoom. Amazing professor. Very clear on what he wants, inspirational, and funny.
Prof. Lee is a solid choice for a prof. His class consists of quizzes online and lecture and lab exams in person. There are 3 Lab exams and 4 Lecture exams. Lab exams are just the memorization of each part of the body, bones, muscles, cadavers etc. Lecture exams are what is learned in class. Use his study guides and study hard. Memorize! No Curves!
Prof. Lee is a good anatomy prof. My semester started in class but then switched to online because of COVID-19. He posted lecture videos online on youtube, he had powerpoints and lots of extra practice worksheets. You do not need the book. Use his guides! Lab practicals and exams became open book open note and not proctored. Still, focus and study!
Cant go wrong with choosing him. Took him for anat too. Funny prof! He understands ppls personal probs due to covid ofc u need proof. Extra credit is always available. PreLab quizzes no time and unlimited. Physio is hard overall so its up to you if you wanna pass or not. He helps a lot & is inspirational. Lab assigns. helps the grade. Recommend!!
Professor Lee was amazing! His lectures will never leave you bored. As long as you attend lectures, pay attention, and do the study guides and labs, you will pass the class! Physiology could be tough, you just have to work hard to get the grade you want. Overall, I highly recommend taking Professor Lee for Physio.
Professor Lee is hard but I felt that he needs to lighten up on his test, were going to be RN for crying out loud. My friend is a RN and he forgot everything he learned in physiology and microbio. This semester was open book but he made the test even hard almost impossible to pass. Study guide did not reflect what was on the exam.
This class was the most hardest thing ever. Tough grader when it comes to exams. There is never extra credit and when he does give you some it does nothing for your grade. The study guides do not match the exams. Has exams on 3 hour lab days. Tries to be humorous. I say try another professor LOL!
EXTREMELY A VERY HARD CLASS. PUTTING YOUR 101% EFFORT ISN'T ENOUGH. HIS STUDY GUIDE IS WAY OFF FROM EXAMS AND QUIZES. 1 PT. EXTRA ISN'T CHANGING YOUR GRADE AT ALL, BUT EXAMS AND QUIZZES WILL DRAG YOUR GRADE AND FAIL YOU. THE EXAM IS EXTREMELY WORDY, AND CONFUSING. I REGRET NOT BELIEVING COMMENTS HERE,NOW I SCREWED UP AND WASTED TIME. CHOOSE WISELY
Maybe one of my favorite professors I've ever had. Physio is a super hard class but if you pay attention in lecture and study you will do just fine. Exam matches up with his lectures every time, and he wants you to do well! The way he lectures is so clear and caring. Gives extra credit too. Absolutely loved him.
3 midterms (41%), 1 final (17%), weekly group lab assignments + 4 lab quizzes & connect labs (42%). offers extra credit at the end of exams, however, the time is so tight on the exams you're lucky to get to it. test questions sometimes don't match the study guide and has choose all that apply answers on extremely difficult exams. great guy though
DONT TAKE HIM! I am an A+ student, my GPA for the past 3 years at Pierce College was 3.92 however, I got F in this class. The funny thing is that I got A+ in my anatomy 1 class. This professor is way too hard and not respectful. Dont ever think to take this class with him. 1 point extra credit for each exam. NO CURVE. SOOO HARD EXAMS AND QUIZES.
Hard silly professor. His lectures were not fun at all! He has some silly comics every lecture. BAD PROFESSOR. Exams and quizzes were sooo hard. This class is not for students, you need to be a professor to pass this class. I dont even think he will pass the class if he got the exams we got!
Worst professor. The study guides dont match his exams. You will need to retake this class again if you took this professor. Dont waste your time with this guy!
Soooo hard professor. So heavy tests. No curve! Unfair! You will learn nothing from him. HIGHLY NOTTT RECOMMENDED!!
You will hate your life with this guy! His teaching way is so boring. Hard exams and quizzes.
The hardest professor Ive ever met!
He was an inspirational teacher, except his study guides were not useful and his lecture slides were text-heavy and hard to go through. He does gives lots of extra credit opportunity on tests; however, very rarely allows you to turn in assignments late. He also tries to make lecture funny.
Hard professor. Dont expect to pass the class.
Dont take him!!!!!
Im confused as to why there are negative reviews for Dr. Lee? Everything stated, was the exact opposite of my own experience. He was by far one of my favorite professors that Ive had in college and I have taken over 60 classes, within my 4 years of attending undergrad & completing my prerequisites. You just HAVE to put in the work. Simple.
His study guide has nothing to do with his exams. Tough professor. DONT take this class.
This professor will teach you how to hate your life.
Bad professor!!!!!!!!!!!
You will learn nothing! Hard professor and heavy tests.
Dr. Lee's lectures are clear and he doesn't mind elaborating or explaining things during class. All lectures are recorded so you can go back and fill in notes you missed. This semester, the exams were open book and open note, so as long as you take thorough notes, tests aren't so bad. He also accepted corrections on a lot of the lab assignments.
Hard professor. Exams were open book but super hard. Dont take him!!
This class was manageable when it began, but it became more difficult as the semester went on. This class is heavy on tests with little to no extra credit and the study guides did not correlate with the exams. More than half of the class dropped by the drop deadline! Try another professor!
Prof. Lee sets unrealistic expectations for students. On the first 3 tests, only 1 person was getting an A. His tests are insanely hard, especially the first one. He makes it obvious he's trying to weed people out. He prides himself on being the gatekeeper for people that wanna be nurses. I have always gotten As and Bs and still didn't pass.
EXTREMELY A HARD CLASS. STUDY GUIDE ISN'T HELPFUL AT ALL JUST A WASTE OF TIME. EXAMS AND QUIZZES ARE EXTRA HARD WHICH EXTREMELY IMPOSSIBLE TO PASS. 1 PT. EXTRA CREDIT ISN'T CHANGING YOUR GRADE AT ALL. TAKE ANOTHER PROFESSOR IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE BIG-TIME REGRET AND ENDING UP OF RETAKING PHYSIOLOGY. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, EFFORT, AND ENERGY.
RUNNNNNNNNNNN!!
Tests were open book & open note but were so difficult youd still fail. Test questions were "Select all that apply" with many options. lots of group work. Notes & Study guide had nothing to do with any of the tests and were no help at all. Extra credit is extra questions on tests but you needed the correct answer. no real extra credit.
I got C in this class even though I studied a lot. his tests are sooooooooo challenging. if you do not want to ruin your GPA ,do not take physio with him. moreover he does not talk to students respectfully.
If you want pass this class I dont recommend this professor. He give you hard quizzes and exams for 50 points and 1 and 4 points in homework and assignments, and final is 100 points, which means 80% of your grade in exam and quizzes and it is very hard even if open notes or book. If you want to pass take another professor or wait another semester
I hate this professor very tough you will not pass
Such a bad professor! Highly NOT recommended!! Tests are sooo heavy and only 1 point extra credit each exam. I wish if someone advised me not to take him.
He's the type to blame the class if the whole class fails. Went to his office hours and he didn't show up. Told me to submit the assignment again and then refused to grade it. Tests are not based on lectures.
Tough grader, tests on topics never covered in class. I never drop classes but I am debating it since he is so difficult.
Super tough class. straight A student and I cant even get a C. Class averages are Fs on test, will not curve. Tests are 80% of the grade. Sets up assignments so stupidly on canvas, if one person in the group submits it takes away the assignment on the to do list and absolutely WILL NOT accept late work to be "fair", but sets it up in an UNFAIR way
You will fail this class if not get a C or a D if you are an amazing student. Prides himself on getting his students to fail his class. You will fail the exams, it isn't based on lectures, labs, or homework. He is very stubborn and will not help you with points even if you got it right, it's his way or no way. AVOID THIS PROFESSOR
Idk what everyone else is saying here but Teak Lee was a really good professor. His exams/quizzes are exactly like the study guide, and he is really good at explaining things. If you study you will do good and mind you I didn't even study that much (compared to what he recommends). Also, not a lot of HW. Overall he's really fair as long as you try.
Condescending, unrealistic, and impossible. Stay away. You are expected to know how to do Standard Deviation Error Bars in Excel. Why so? This is Physiology.
I'm not sure why he got so many bad reviews. Although his class was difficult, I enjoyed his class and learned a lot. His tests are difficult and a little tricky but everyone in the class agreed that it was fair. He makes you work for it. Everything was open note/book. Just take good notes and you'll be fine. He was also pretty funny during lecture
Was scared of taking Dr. Lee after seeing the reviews but did because he was the only available. Dr. Lee is probably one of the most organized and fair science teachers I have had so far. Jokes around, has clear coursework, makes you want to learn. Study hard for a good grade, overall would take again. The bad reviews just didn't put in any effort
He's an amazing professor. Very caring, funny, and a tad cheesy. This is a tough course, though. As long as you put in the work, use the study guides he provides before every exam and quiz, and try to get all the points possible when provided, you should get a decent grade. This course in general is a tough one, so you must prepare to be tougher.
Don't be afraid of his bad reviews! Dr. Lee's class was challenging but completely fair. Physio is a tough class and you really need to put in work. Plenty of extra credit opportunities as participation/questions. Funny, really cared for students remembering names/career goals, provided feedback on tests/quizzes, all of which were very encouraging!
I took Professor Lee a couple of years ago for Anatomy and then again for Physiology. I decided to leave a review today because I terribly wish he was my pathophysiology professor. He is a tough professor, but you learn a lot. He makes lectures fun. Science courses are hard in general, but it really, really helps to have a caring professor.
I was scared to take Dr. Lees class because of all the reviews but after taking him this fall, I think people underestimated how difficult these science classes can be. That said, I could not be happier with Dr. Lee, he is incredibly smart, he makes lecture fun. Exams and quizzes are fair and he gives very thorough study guides that really help.
I was worried about the negative reviews but he is so organized and gives only one homework per week. Lectures were fun and office hours were very helpful. He is always willing to help you and wants you to do good. He gives detailed study guide papers for exams and quizzes so as long as you study them you are golden. Highly recommend!
Professor Lee was great. The exams were all multiple choice and based on the study guides, granted the study guides can be very extensive. Plenty of extra credit is given. There was a lot of group work, but you'll be fine as long as you do your part of the assignments. This is a challenging course though so don't expect an easy A.
Professor Lee is the best! Yes, the class is hard because of the amount of information that is needed, but if you put the time and effort you can do good. He gives a lot of extra credit, gives you unlimited attempts for quizzes, and let's you resubmit the labs so you get full credit. Recommended 100% (:
I took this class last year and honestly looking back this was one of my favorite classes. Yes the class is hard but that's because physiology isn't easy. But Professor Lee really cares to explain things in a thorough way and really cares that his students understand the material. I'll use the things I learned in his class for the rest of my career
I was so scared of taking anatomy but Lee made it manageable. His lecture exams are very fair he gives study guides to review beforehand as well as 2 practice exams. Lab exams weren't that bad either if you abused the CAS models. He offers plenty of extra credit. Office hours were accessible. He throws in cheese jokes every now and then lol
Beware of spelling any spelling error means no credit on exams Has a great teaching style and gives lots of great advice for studying I had him for lab and another teacher for lecture lots of material to memorize
The professor is great it's the course that is really dense. So much to learn and memorize, however the professor posts study guides to help prepare for the exams. For the lab part of the course have someone to practice with (A tutor, a friend... etc.) then you will have an easier time memorizing bones, muscles, and everything in between.
Took him for anatomy and I got a B. Took him for physiology and got a B as well. Tests are for sure important and need more time to prep, so as long as you don't delay preparation you will be fine.
Dr.Lee is truly changing the world for a better tomorrow for healthcare students. He is understanding, cares for his students, and is never annoyed with questions. I never saw him in a bad mood. Enjoyed coming to class through the stress. Summer courses are not for the weak. Gives extra credit/study guides before hand. This is an exceptional prof.
Take this class. His material is very easy to follow along, and he really keeps the class engaged and shows an effort for each individual student. I could have gotten an A if I had honestly put more effort in. If you are planning to take physiology, he will make you enjoy the material more then any professor could in my opinion.
TAKE HIS CLASS! Dr Lee is the best. Anatomy is hard, but you will be rewarded if you put in the effort. He follows his study guide and lets us know what information doesn't need to be known. He gives out a lot of extra credit too. Other anatomy students that I've met have regretted not choosing his class instead.
Professor Lee's class is challenging but rewarding. Attend lectures, utilize the free textbook, and try unstuck AI for helpful study prep. With effort, you can excel in this course.
Professor Lee was recommended by other students and tutors. He is very fair, kind, fun and approachable. He provides a great learning environment. He gives a lot of extra credit, either by going to tutoring or in class assigments. Easy at home quizzes, 2 in-class quizzes, 4 exams, 1 cumulative final. No homework. STUDY THE SLIDES. He's great!
Dr. Lee was an amazing professor, he was kind and was a great mentor. Anatomy the class itself is hard, but Dr. Lee made the class more enjoyable. Make sure you do the study guides and you will pass the class breezy. Wonderful Professor and wonderful person. Great jokes and puns
Lee was such a great professor, wish i could write more, very knowledgeable and actually helped u comprehend material. You will have to study hard and actually retain the material but everything on the study guide is what's on the test, very straight forward. Other than that he was quite funny, puts extra credit, funny jokes in the lecture vids.
We came back from Spring Break, he broke up our lab groups to put us into new ones, the entire class freaked out. One girl raised her hand and said, "Are these our new lab groups for the rest of the semester?" He said, "Well, it depends on how many of you stick around!!" Then gave the most evil laugh I ever heard in my life. Online during Covid!
Dr. lee is the best teacher I've ever had, Take him for physio and anatomy if you can, you have to study hard but everything in the exam study guide is exactly what's on the tests, no surprises.
Everything is in his study guides. Show up, pay attention during lab, go to the CAS for extra help, and you will be fine. I loved Dr. Lee. There is a reason his classes close SO fast.
I took him for lab only. Lee is funny, caring, inspiring, and disciplined. Clear grading criteria shared before each exam. He projects pics of labeled slides and you have to find each part on the model yourself (and your table). Lab exams are easy points if you know the SG. ..If youre a forearms girl like me... take him ;)).
I am surprised on the amount of bad reviews! He is a great professor and it is normal to feel overwhelmed as Anatomy is hard itself!! DON'T blame the professor, BLAME YOURSELF FOR NOT PUTTING IN THE WORK!! Not an easy class but it's doable!!!
Amazing Professor! Anatomy is a very heavy class but, is very doable if you study and are disciplined. Tutoring does help! Professor Lee explains very well in his lectures, Labs, and in class activities. There is a reason why his classes close out fast. Will be taking him for physiology (:
I only had Professor Lee for lab, but I genuinely love his teaching. Offers extra credit and grades fairly. My favorite part was looking at the structures on the cadaver. I'm looking forward to taking physiology with him. If you like forearms... take him
Had him for Lab only. U can pass without Atlas. He's a great teacher. Goes around class and pop quizzes you to make sure u remember the material or if you have any questions. We used the lab coat 2 times out of the semester. He has some mnemonics to help you remember. Practice! with models from CAS or take pics of the models. Daily Anatomy app too.
Prof Lee is amazing, he's the funniest and does his best to make sure exams are fair to everyone. This is a hellish course, though; it is a lot of memorizing for the lab/lec. As long as you do his study guides, you'll be ok on exams. You have to put in a crazy amount of work and time into this course. I took it over Summer 2025, doable challenge!
Attendance wasnt mandatory but if you miss a lot he will drop you, plus there is a lot of assignments in class worth points that you would miss out on. Show up, dont fall behind, utilize the CAS models and you will succeed. Anatomy is hard but Lee is a great professor
Dr. lee the goat. Watch lec vids @ home, 6 question quiz after, extra cred on lec exam usually from the lec vids when he mentions jokes. Lec is hella group work so take this class w a friend. Dont miss lab. Go to tutoring for extra cred. Do the study guides for lec, and find a quizlet for the lab. Take pics of the models esp. the mock lab exams.
No homework, which means your grade depends solely on how you score on the exams. He is nice and does give some extra credit, but by the end, it doesn't really help. Most of my class dropped by November, and he doesn't drop or curve any exams. Good luck
Physiology is a heavy course, but Dr. Lee was amazing at explaining every chapter clearly. Labs were fun, with 4 lab quizzes and 4 lecture exams—it is test-heavy, but the study guides help A LOT. He is very caring and truly wants his students to succeed. If you use every resource and put the hours in, you will do well. I will truly miss his class.
