Delighted to be in class and explains everything very clearly. Can make do without textbook but difficult. Midterms & exams' practioner qu's are hard, assignments easy and meant to do well. Makes learning fun :) however guest speakers & TAs teaching the course are terrible at times.

Teal was a great prof! Her tests and assignments were fair, she explained everything in detail in class and still managed to make it interesting. Its important to go to class. Would go out of her way to help anyone that needed it. I hope to have her again!

Best lecturer I've had so far at McMaster! She makes class pass by really fast and no one gets up to leave until she is totally done. She's that good. Textbook was useful for preparing for the in-class assignments. Sometimes she has weird handouts and jumps btwn material but I would definitely take a class with her if I had the chance.

By far the best prof I've had at Mac. She is one of the few professors who actually follows through with helping the students whether it's putting a star beside important info, reading through countless resumes or telling us exactly what to study for an upcoming assignment. The profs at Mac i've had have been pretty bad, Teal is an exception.

Teal is one of the most creative profs. She challenges you by her in depth lectures that exclude filler material. She shows you the ropes for real life. She speaks to you not at you. Her hilarious one-liners make you understand what she's talking about when giving real life examples. You are given all the tools needed for an A. (Very stylish too)

So far in my 3 years at McMaster, I have yet to have a prof that tops Teal. She is so fantastic and passionate, it's infectious. Even if HR isn't what you're into, she makes it interesting and makes you see the value in it. Go to lecture, take good notes, put in the effort, and you'll do well in this class.

Teal is simply the best professor at McMaster University, I have only been in her class for a short amount of time, and I already feel the need to come a review her. She is also one of the nicest people you will meet, she genuinely cares about you as a student, but doesn't treat you like a student, she will treat you like an equal and respectfully.

Going into her lectures I was always extremely excited about what she would teach. She has a way of engaging the entire class, and making the information a lot easier to understand. I really hope I can take a course with her sometime in the future!

Teal is a very funny. caring and concise person. Her lectures are informative and if you attend them you will not have to read the textbook unlike many other courses. The highlight of Teal is her industry and personal experience which bring real-life examples to the classroom.

Teal OB class teaches you about the ins and outs of business. Teal acts more as a mentor rather than a prof. She goes above and beyond for her students by giving extra advice, relating her own experiences with the class and being incredibly passionate about her job. The difference between Teal and a lot of other first year professors is that even in a huge first year program, she strives to build a personal connection with you. Attendance at OB is a must, but it's 100% worth it. She turns the class content (theories and terms) into being enjoyable, relatable and workplace transferrable. 100% recommend.

Teal was my favourite prof! She's so passionate about the subject matter that she's teaching and gives tons of real world examples from her job as a consultant. She made the course really interesting and was a super fun prof that made lectures enjoyable. She does however go quite fast and you need notes on the stuff from lectures.

Teal was easily one of the best profs I had first year, going to her 3 classes (online) were easy because her lectures were entertaining. She explained everything well and repeats anything that students missed! We had group projects, a midterm and final exam that were both multiple choice only. 10/10 would recommend anyone from any program to take!

Teal is an amazing professor, probably one of the best in the commerce program. The only downside would be her abnormally fast pace during lectures. Sometimes, you will simply not be able to keep up with her, let alone try to learn what she is actually teaching. Study well for the assignments and exams and you will receive a fair grade.

Legit cares about your professional development, but understands courses and credentialism are means to an end. Very fair marking schema, but, there is considerable content and group project.

Everyone who deems themselves a leader must take organizational behaviour with Teal. The current cultural and inclusion sensitive environment is hard to navigate without knowing this. Teal focuses on your personal development and cares about your success. She values her student's greatly, and makes an effort to engage everyone. Won't regret taking!

If you are confused on what types of soft skills you need for a job, or you want to have a lot of ammo for your job interviews, take this course. Originally, I hated this class, but, I completely came around. I ended up liking the course. Go to as many lectures as you can as she verbally says what half the midterm and exam will have. Her lectures are engaging, you will not get bored. There are 3 group assignments, so make sure you have a good group as each of those is worth 10%

Incredibly passionate prof, all her lectures were like TED talks. Shes the definition of a corporate GIRLBOSS, hard on the outside, extremely kind when you talk to her. Her classes were super interesting, no textbook needed, but if you miss a lecture you're screwed because she doesn't have much on her slideshows. Show up and pick a good group!

Lectures were a joy to attend, content was taught very clearly with little to no room for confusion. Only thing to be concerned about is the group tests, so just make sure to pick a group of competent people who have the same goals as you and if you show up to class you'll do great.

I went into OB expecting to hate it, and Teal made it one of my favourite first-year courses. He lectures are super engaging, and she does all she can to make them interesting. She is also very clear about what will be on the midterm and final, and will go over every important topic in these lectures.

Ms Mcateer is a great professor when it comes to clarity of what comes on final exam and midterms. You also have in class assignments where she quizzes you on your knowledge based on a few weeks of lecture. MAKE SURE to find a good group as it heavily affects your performance for this class. Other than that, you should be fine.
