"DONT TAKE THIS CLASS", This is the worst professor I ever had. It was so bad, that I had to throw up every time I left his classroom. The pressure this quy puts you in makes you want to commit suicide.

He has no idea how to teach a class. He goes on and on about stories that have nothing to do with what we are "learning". Today was my last class with bennit and what a relief. He is by far the worst teacher in the entire world for me. I've never met a more ignorant, snobby, jerk teacher in my life. I remember taking Bennett years ago and he was the worst! He criticized extra help even though I was trying hard. I received an F for the class even though I technically graded a D+. I'm a grade A student, & I am on the border of failing this class. 97% of the class is in the same boat. He is VERY unclear about directions, & we are TERRIFIED to ask questions because he yells at you for asking anything! Also, his tests are not on the material he covers, but blames us for poor grades anyway. NOT recommended.

By far the worst professor I have ever taken. I am not dramatic, nor am I a lazy student so take everything I say as the truth. This man is nasty, ruthless, and on an ego trip. He really is a brilliant person and loves to talk about his knowledge. However, he is a bad professor. He does not stay on topic and will repeat the same stories over and over again. Every time I would ask a question, he would make me feel stupid. Even other professors in his field know how bad he is.

Professor Benitt spends more time discussing UFO's and Big Foot, than he does teaching Astronomy. He is obsessed with neatness and completely irrational. His teaching style is haphazard and confusing. He is all over the board, which makes it hard to copy down notes. My notebook looked like a treasure with all of the arrows I had to draw.

I've never written a review but I have to for him. He is by far the worst professor I've ever had. The worst teacher I have ever had from elementary school to college. I took his astronomy course as a visiting student a few summers ago. I go to a college that is ranked top 30 in the country and was expecting to do well in this course. Not only was he an awful teacher, he made you feel stupid for asking questions and if you dont understand.

! If you ask him a question most times he wont answer and will say well if you read your notes you would know. He also graded extremely hard, gave very difficult exams with over 70 multiple choice questions and short answers. No laptops or talking in class. If you disturb class in any way he will absolutely lose it.

Seems to not be aware that this is the 21st century and that everybody has phones and needs them for different, but important, things. Also incredibly petty and likes to gloat about his past. Loves to bemoan class about not remembering every detail of the notes. Do not recommend taking his class, but if you do prepare for misery and a bad time.

If you want a difficult 101 class, this is the course and professor to choose. He expects us to understand his unorganized notes and goes off on past life rants during lecture. He moves too fast through units, which lead to exams on top of the weekly lab assignments. His uncomfortable sarcastic remarks are the only interesting parts of this class.
