Very uncool to change the grading system at the very end. It really penalizes those who were mediocre. Pretty much those who failed can past with a B while the ones in the past both exams suffers deduction like previous post said. B+ before he changed his policy, just a B now with those who failed midterm and did better on final :( very disappointi

I suggest the hydrid class for those how are willing to take the time to actually study! Joyce made it clear since the beginning that this format put more responsibility on the student. The test were basic, Videos really helped. If you study an read the book you will be fine!! I Rather study on my own and attend lecture for reinforcement. Recommend

Prof Joyce said right from the first class that the hybrid format requires ALOT of work outside the class. I found his videos and lectures to be extremely helpful. Professor Joyce’s class is fairly easy and straightforward. I got an A just by reading the textbook and watching a few of the online videos. I didn’t bother to attend most of his lectures because they are boring to sit through. However, the last fifteen minutes of his lectures when we use the clickers are a bit more enjoyable.
