Thanks to Ted my haterd and fear of mathe turned to excitement. I used to fear going to math, with Ted I looked foward to my classes. He is very clear in his lectures, he makes sure everyone understands before he moves on. his goal seems to be that every one understands and gets a good grade. I recieved straight A's in this class for the first time

He is the best Math Teacher I have ever taken at truman College. I took him during Summer and I thought my summer would be hell because i hate Math and didn't think I'd like it till he became my teacher. He is very considerate to his students. Test are based on what you only learn in class and that's it! Allowed to used cheat sheet :P

I have tried taking Math 118 three times and the third times was the charm thanks to Prof. Wiecek. His class has been the smoothest Math class i have ever taken. Projects are easy and tests and quizzes are not that really hard. I recommend his classes 110%.

Ted Wiecek is the absolutely best teacher I have ever had. I have had him three semesters at Truman so far. I had him for Math 98, 99 and now I am in Math 118. I suggest that if you have issues with math, he will break it down for you and not make you feel incompetent, he is always willing to help out, return phone calls, in his office. Great!!!

Ted ROCKS! A great prof to have. I loathed Math but he makes it so easy that you would end up liking it.

I had Wiecek over the summer by accident but was lucky to have him. I highly recommend and can't praise more. If u need a gen ed 4 math take this guy..u can't go wrong. Wiecek is very charming and helpful...really cares about his students..teaches the course well. He lets use cheat sheet for the tests...I really don't think he fail anyone in class.

Awesome teacher, he likes students from all races. I learned alot of things in his class. He is helpful, nice, and wants studetns to succed. I highly recomend this teacher he is my favorite. Best teacher ever ......take his class +++++

Superb professor. I have learned a great deal in his classes 98/118. Highly recommend to anyone who has difficulty in understand the concept of things. I never knew math was this easy until I took this class by professor Wiecek. He teaches you with a hands on approach to all the difficult tasks. He technique is such that a rookie comes out as a pro at the end of the class. The most important thing about his teaching is that he makes you understand stuff rather than memorizing it. He is just the best. The only problem I had with his class is that he was unable to make the class a little more challenging for those of us who needed/wanted to learn the deep concepts of why we were doing what we were doing. Not only is he a great teacher but you can tell he is a caring person. He wants you to do well.

Wiecek is the man. The best teacher I've ever had, he's found a way to make a usually boring subject like math fun and engaging. School would be a greater pleasure for everyone if more teachers had the same positive approach and enthusiasm for teaching and connecting with students. Extremely easy to understand and will not go on to the next portion until everyone has fully understood the material. His class isn't necessarily about grades, but about learning something useful that can be applied to real life.

This was my third time taking this class and the only one in the way of me receiving my B.A.I knew from the first class I would pass. ted's approach towards the subject was straight forward and it was not set up to fail. You needed to show up, ask questions and do the work.I give credit when it is due. really good. Thanks.

Prof Wiecek is a great teacher. He makes the class interesting, in fact I am NOT a Math person what so ever & I passed.! I actually learned about Math and how to properly use a calculator, so I believe that should indicate how much a person is able to to learn through this professor. Life learning skills are taught through his tests & projects.

This was my 3rd semester with Ted and as usual he has super exceeded my expectations. I have learned a lot and truly enjoyed his classes. His grading is fair and he always stay's to assist in any question you may have, even if he dismisses class early. Mr. Wiecek is the type of prof.that puts in the front end work by providing engaging lectures and class outlines that distill the essence of the subject matter. His engagement with the class - empowers. Mr. Wiecek has the character that exudes integrity and genuine interest for his students - the students feel that, respect it and respond. A+

Prof. Wiecek's use of PowerPoint slides and the weekly quiz made understanding my most dreaded subject much easier to understand. I highly recommend that if you are not feeling good about taking math, to enroll in his course. I am glad that I followed a verbal recommendation from another student.

Ted is one of the best professors I've ever had. I've never been that great at math and he was able to explain things in a way that made sense. There's a reason why he has such a high rating on here! For his studio classes you only need mymathlab which is awesome, his lectures are on powerpoint and if you don't understand he is very helpful.

I would recommend getting the book along with the math lab. The class was laid back and enjoyable.

I had Professor Wiecek for my Math 90 class at Wright College. I hated math for as long as i can remember but Ted broke things down rather well and he definitely knows his stuff! I specifically always hated fractions (Ted, you probably know who this is now lol) He is always happy to help and he also has a pretty good sense of humor!

Ted was a great professor, I actually am in his math 90 class as well and I really do respect his teaching and his methods. He gives math a better understanding while taking this course. I would suggest everyone request him as their teacher because if you don't like math like myself, you'll definitely feel understood and respected.

Proffesor Ted has a great approach about teaching the class. Lectures are powerpoint and he makes it easy to follow. He is vary patient with the students and you will get a good grade if you do the homework and study for the quizzes. This class was great! Ted makes the content clear and understandable and this is the first A I've gotten in a math class since grade school. I usually don't like math and science classes but I genuinely enjoyed this one. As long as you do your homework and show up to class you'll pass.

He was very helpful when it came to homework, quizzes, and tests. If you had a problem with your grade, he worked with you in order for you to raise your grade to where you wanted it to be. He did not just give grades, you had to earn it. He was a very laid back guy and he was a great joy to be around
